Reviewed Sep 16, 2026

Reviewed Sep 14, 2026Close to the airport… short taxi ride. Lovely hotel and very clean.
The pool was not open. I had received automated messages the day before I had stayed there asking how I enjoyed my stay. An offer of a free cocktail if a review was given. That was before a 2:00 pm check in. Normal check in at 3:00 pm so the messaging was confusing.Sent multiple messages about taking public transportation. No response. Finally called the hotel. Told to take a taxi. There is a bus from Taipei main station ( Ubus 313 ) and a short 12 minute walk. Which we did.

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026Nothing, actually. This might have been a posh hotel 20 or thirty years ago, but now it is totally run down. We arrived with a late flight and had booked this hotel. After seeing the rooms and realizing that the addition in one room had already started to grow black mold, we decided to pay a cancellation fee at one thirty in the morning and move to a hotel in Taipei.
Smelly, dirty carpets, threadbare furniture, in one room the electricity wasn’t working right and black mold on the aircon.

The attitude of the staff was as if you owed them money. During the check in process when i wanted a earlier check in i had to wait until 3pm but the staff didnt even bother to check whether there was already a room available, which there was because they told me it was ready by then afterwards.
