Friendly staff, really good food, very nice room. We were given a complimentary upgraded room for our anniversary.

The spa was great, very nice space

I had requested that Prosecco and chocolates be left in in of the rooms as we were celebrating my parents anniversary, there was nothing left in the rooms yet at checkout the receptionist attempted to charge for the Prosecco and chocolates, the rooms weren’t ready for an hour past original check in either

The USB port in the room which was for plugging in devices may not be entirely safe. It worked but on 2 occasions gave a popping noise while a device was plugged in. No spark or heat but the sound was a little disconcerting so I plugged out from it.

It is in a lovely setting and the location suited us.

Nothing about this hotel was pleasant. We paid €80 each for 2hrs in the spa and wellness facilities considering youv to pay and the way it’s miss lead with advertising you and many other in the spa at the same time as us Assumed it was your time only instead you shared with many other couples and also couples who didn’t pay as it is easy access to simply walk across ankle height bushes and side entrance into the facility this lead to sitting in the rain waiting for the hot tubs and sauna room and also having the quiet room soaking wet from people sitting it in from the hot tubs. This was the start of the stay as we got into the out room it was not what booked originally as I booked a deluxe room with a hot tub the head board was thick with dust the tele was the size of a laptop screen (to make it worse it kept turning off and going fussy) The bedroom was invested with flies counted 6 flies on a wall at one time Bedsheets had stains on the underneath as it’s tucked under the mattress Screaming kids running up and down the hall wall and restaurant area till 12 at night and beyond The food and drinks! I asked for a peroni I got handed a maidri 20 minutes later ! Bear in mind ourselves and 2 other couple in the bar area with 6 staff! I then drank the maidri and asked for same again that’s when I got served a peroni bottle gluten free ! Completely different drink and taste from originally peroni. Food arrives tacos come on a rack that was broke so when you lifted it the other tacos fell onto the table. Bar area where we ate our food was a free for all for flies ! Crawling up my arm crawling on my food in my pint on my napkin again about 6 flies over our table and the table beside us who also complained. Moved to another room in a collage that’s separated into rooms with no WiFi and when the bathroom lights comes on the sound of an airbus 360 erupts with a fan that takes about 10 minutes to turn off each time.

The bar. I was drinking Guinness and the bar staff were not very good at serving it, all over the outside of the glass.

Very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was fantastic. The spa was brilliant.

No vegetarian options on the menu in the R&R. Was not offered an alternative and waitress was unsure of exactly what she could do, but did not ask further or find out. Unacceptable for a four star hotel. No plugs beside the bed in the room I was in, which is very awkward.

It was easily accessible.

Staff were very underwhelming particularly at check in. Room was very old fashioned and we were actually given a disabled access bathroom despite neither myself or my partner requiring such a service. Poor lighting in the room and curtains were not sufficient to block out the sunrise hence an early awakening. Only had breakfast in the restaurant but was not impressed at all.

The hotel is nestled away in nature with some forest and trail walks right on your doorstep. The food in the restaurant was done to a very high standard was one of the best places I’ve ate. It is only 20mins drive to Cavan town.

The location is difficult as cootehill isn’t a build up town , and Cavan is about 30 minute drive. But definitely doesn’t take away from the beautiful views from the hotel

Wedding party on a Thursday night didn’t finish until 2.30am inconsiderate to other paying guests. Asked house keeping to clean up all the dead flies on bathroom floor wasn’t done had to make complaint at reception

This hotel is lovely however the staff let it down,food not good especially due to the price. Our table was dirty ,the dining room floor was dirty, table not ready for our party of 6. No cutlery ,waited for service anx,over priced considering ive had better in a take away. There was 3 too a room, got to our rooms which was 2 rooms ,not enough towels,robes or cups, no toiletries etc ,for a 4* hotel this i feel was outrageous.

Restaurant was not clean,floor was dirty,cutlery was dirty,3 of us to a room,only 2 towels,2 cups,2 robes , no toiletries. Food ( dinner) was not good,fish batter undercooked . 4* it is not ...staff really let this hotel down

Not much to be honest, the restaurant and spa looked new done up and looked lovely but the facilities did not live up to the look.

We are not picky travelers and are happy as long as the place is clean & staff are friendly. However, our two-night stay at the Errigal was a massive disappointment. The reception felt strange and unwelcoming, with all the lights turned off and zero music. The hotel room was infested with flies, and the carpet was so worn out that it had holes in it. The tap water in the sink was yellow. In the morning, the entire room smelled strongly of onions (presumably from the kitchens) and delivery trucks outside our window & shouting at 8:30am. There was a wedding on our second night, and guests were shouting in hallways all night. While we understand weddings can be noisy, combined with everything else we got virtually no sleep. When we notified staff of a severe seafood allergy, the waiter said he would "try" not to cross-contaminate (ordered steak & there were only 4 people in the restaurant at the time) Our steaks were ordered medium-rare but arrived completely well-done. When we informed the waiter, he looked confused and offered to tell the chef, which was obviously too late for us. When we asked for a dessert menu, we were handed one with the dessert page missing. The breakfast was burnt the 1st day. On the second morning, we asked for the previous day’s menu and were told it wasn't available, so we settled for the very limited buffet. While eating, we were then told we could order from the menu after all, but had already taken buffet food & didn't want to waste that food. We were given no cutlery and had to constantly chase staff for everything. We were charged 5.00 EUR for a latte that said 4.50 on the menu. We had to pay extra to use the spa, only to find two dirty robes left on our bed,one of which had a suspicious orange stain, fruit in the spa was stale. Of the two hot tubs, one was with bubbles while the other had green lukewarm water & jets barely worked.

The area was in a quiet remote location that was peaceful

La sera del mio soggiorno c'era un matrimonio e c'è stata musica alta fino alle 4 di notte, invitati alle nozze che faccevano rumore nelle camere e nei corridoi. Le camere nnon sono insonorizzate e si sente tutto. Ho dormito forse 2 ore in tutta la notte. Una struttura seria avrebbe avvertito in anticipo dell'evento per dare la possibilità di anullare il soggiorno e scegliere un altra location. Il mio peggior soggiorno in un hotel.

Spa R&R Dinner Breakfast

Advertising room having balcony and jacuzzi for 239 euro with breakfast. We didn't get this deluxe room. Booked deluxe room with balcony and jacuzzi on booking.com. hotel recieved my order as deluxe room only. Better communication is required. Staff poor communication with reception. I was double charged for drinks. I had receipt for drinks which I had proof. If I dint have receipt I wonder what would happen? Reception had me billed because restaurant staff didn't tell reception manager. This was hotel and restaurant manager poor communication.

How expensive it was, and unexpected charges that were put on the bill.

The hot water from taps turned brown every few minutes. There was a door separating the room I was in from the next room and that meant that you could hear the conversations and laughter from the next room so I couldn't sleep until they stopped talking.

We just wanted a relaxing night to celebrate 2 Big birthdays we all enjoyed the spa and the meal at night was excellent. We were able to hold our rooms over as well which suited us. The staff were very friendly and everything was clean and tidy

One of our group had very noisy people in the next room most of the night but the manager spoke with them the next day and it was sorted

Our room was extremely hot , there was no ac and we were dripping with sweat from the heat . We complained to reception and were told there was no fans left and more or less nothing they can do . We Didn’t sleep well at all as the room was so uncomfortably hot

Everything about this hotel was just perfect :) It is a hidden gem Staff are all so welcoming and friendly and also so accommodating There is not one thing I could fault about this beautiful hotel cannot wait to go back .

Bathroom needs updating and we opted for the more expensive room with roof terrace. It’s basically a patch of fake grass with a metal table and an ashtray. They could have planters etc and make it a lot more pretty. Hot water came out the cold tap, the shower tray didn’t drain. However it was a lovely big room with lots of storage. No mini bar or safe in the room.

This my second time to stay at this hotel my experiece ws excellent for both stays

Atmosphere, most of hotel looked closed down, breakfast was at 7 so that means at 7 not letting people in at 7 and not prepared for anything. Bar service was terrible, forgetful staff, wrong orders an waiting over 40mins for a drink

Brilliant hotel and lovely food. Staff were great and nothing was too much trouble for them. Lovely room with a huge bed plus a single bed. Balcony and great shower also. Spa area really good. Overall a great hotel.
