Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kawasaki

Breakfast was good for the price.

The location is directly oppoiste a bus station and only a short walk to the train station. Perfect location!

I stayed in room 101, which is close to the main road, so there was quite a bit of traffic noise all night and the windows didn't block it out well. The facilities are a bit dated, but overall it's fair for the price.

location location freebie amenities

no view :( but that's typical in japan cities

Très bien équipé et en plein centre

Calme et propreté

It is conveniently placed next to a shopping street and next to one of the entrances to the underground mall which connects to the station. As with all Daiwa Roynets, it is directly connected to a conbini on the first floor.

I've stayed at many Daiwa Roynets and the chain appears to always have the lobby on the second floor which also requires the elevators to stop on the second floor, even if no one pressed the button to stop it there. I understand this is a rule of the Ryokan Business Act that elevators must stop at the lobby, but I have to put something here and it was their decision to have all their hotels have second floor lobbies.

Bad experience

Hotel staff was not helpful at all to help modify my reservation. They Just told me to call Booking.Com. And .... Hotel room phone are not able to call out. Room phone only connect to front desk. So how was i suppose to call booking.com !!!! Totally horrible.

Great location and efficient check-in and checkout process.

Just as other hotels of this type the room was small.

The location is great, very close to Kawasaki station and shopping area. The shopping area is covered, which is nice during the rainy season. The bathroom was clean, the front desk staff is polite, with a staff member available to speak English.

We had 2 rooms on 2 different floors. The air conditioning worked well in one room and mediocre at best in the other room. One room was clean and in the other room, there were a few issues like very dirty bed pad that was discovered after an insect appeared. One room was fine after being cleaned, and in the other room, a personal clothing item was definitely missing after cleaning.

The staff. Was wondering defaults to my wife and accommodating

Breakfast and the rooms but they did not change my second room.to a deluxe non smoking i paid for and they didn't give me the Two more breakfast vouchers. I rented two rooms so I should have gotten 4 vouchers

The bed and blanket are comfortable.

It's a bit distance from the JR station.

Every aspect of the room was incredibly thoughtful. There were charging ports by the desk and bed, a little clock on the headboard, an ironing board that folded into the wall, and a shoehorn. The amenities in the lobby (2nd floor) were wonderful. Face wash, body scrubber, an assortment of teas, etc. And the FamilyMart (convenience store on the first floor) at the bottom was incredibly... convenient! Haha! It's a quiet facility and I slept like a baby. I also appreciated the ability to adjust the AC and turn it on and off as I wished. I am grateful for them holding my baggage as I explored for a couple hours after checking out.

The bath tub was very high. I'm not complaining. I just considered that elders and the disabled will likely would find this very difficult. Note: travel light or take a taxi to get here. This isn't a negative on the hotel itself. I traveled with a large luggage, a small luggage, and a duffel. The roads were just too bumpy for that experience.

Location, Friendly staffs, Family Mart attached.

None

Very good location and access to airport and other cities like Yokohama was very convenient. The room was clean and check in/out process was very smooth a staff were friendly and allowed us to store luggage after we checked out.

Great location, close to JR station, lots of shops and eateries around the area. Familymart next to the entrance of the hotel. Comfy bed and clean bathroom. Good value for money.

location, breakfast, and staff were wonderful.

no safe

Pros: Room: Great size with a window, very clean. Large bed for two and enough space for luggage. Amenities: Spacious bathroom with strong water pressure. Good hairdryer. Daily changes for towels and pajamas, plus 2 free bottles of water daily. Facilities: On-site washing machine and microwave. Location: Short walk from the station. Surrounded by restaurants, convenience stores, pharmacies, and shopping malls. Value & Travel: Cheaper than staying in central Tokyo. Perfect base for traveling to Yokohama, Kamakura, and quick access to Tokyo. Note: Remember to switch the AC to 'cooling mode' during summer—it cools the room down perfectly.

Cons: The area has many izakayas and bars, with women calling in customers along the streets. However, it doesn't feel overly scary or unsafe.

5minute walk from the station. The breakfast is more than sufficient, and the breakfast staff are exceptionally friendly. The front desk is also very helpful. The room is small but clean. Great value for money.

Bathroom was very small

Clean good breakfast. Helpful,friendly staff

Bathroom is small
