Spacious and warm. Large comfy sofa. We were in the easy access suite, in a charming old brick bungalow with high ceilings. TV streaming rather slow. Pleasant and helpful staff

Instructions about what to do with our "used dishes" were confusing. No large mat at our front door ... walked in from the rain onto good carpet.

We had a great stay at Tower Lodge Motel in Invercargill. The check-in process was smooth and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. He even recommended a few places for us to visit around town and showed us where the closest dairy and supermarket were. The location is also great, right across from the Invercargill Water Tower, which is a nice landmark to have nearby. We had a very comfortable stay and really appreciated the friendly service. Would definitely recommend this motel to anyone visiting Invercargill!

The unit was clean except for mould on the window frames. The bed was comfortable. The location was very good, handy to town.

Because the Studio unit we booked stated a "kitchenette" we did did expect that we would have to carry water from the bathroom to refill the electric kettle or to wash our dishes in a plastic tub. A kitchenette in other motels means a sink, a fridge and a microwave not just a bench. This is not acceptable hygiene.

Mini studio very warm bed was comfortable shower had good pressure.

The motelcwas in a very good location,close to everything. The owners were so nice and very helpful with everything,even suggesting on places to visit. Room was a good size for me and cosy. If I am to come to Invercargill again,this is where I'll stay and will be recommending it to friends and family.

Direkt an Haupt-Ausfallstrasse, aber ganz ruhig gelegen. Nette Motel- Häuschen mit (kostenlosem) Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Fussläufige Reichweite zu gutem Restaurant. Bett und Zimmer groß und bequem.

We had a lovely stay, The room was everything we needed, nice and warm and had a big bathroom.

I feel nitpicky writing this because it was such a minor complaint, but the wall above the lights above the bed was really dusty. I imagine it was something you can't see until dark when those lights go on.

I loved my little freestanding studio opposite reception which felt really homely. Owners were great, helpful and friendly. Positioned on the edge of the city, directly across the road from the famous Water Tower and 2 minutes walk to Queens Park

It's not super luxurious, but very well maintained and excellent value for money. Valerie and James were both amazing hosts. Once you meet James, you won't need a tour guide—he shares fascinating information and local knowledge, giving you a virtual tour of everything from Bluff to Balclutha. His recommendations and stories made our trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

My 18-year-old son and I checked in later one evening without pre-booking.. Upon checking in. He paid in full for one night’s accommodation. At no stage was he asked to sign any paperwork, nor were we informed of any policies or warned that late checkout or alleged breaches would be subject to strict financial penalties. The gentleman who checked us in was friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean, tidy and warm, and our first impression of the property was very positive. That changed completely the following morning. At approximately 10:30 a.m., while we were already awake, packing and preparing to leave, we were startled by an aggressive woman pounding loudly on our door and yelling that we were late checking out. Rather than speaking to us respectfully, she immediately became abusive, swearing and claiming we had just cost her cleaners $75 because we were approximately 30 minutes late leaving. That amount made no sense to me. The cleaners were clearly busy.. Preparing numerous other rooms from the mornings earlier departures. I could not understand how our delayed departure. Could justify an immediate additional cost of $75. What made the situation even more upsetting was that she could clearly see I was on crutches, struggling to walk and moving only as quickly as my mobility allowed. While packing our belongings into the car. There was no compassion, or understanding towards my obvious disability. . Then her behaviour became even more hostile. When she noticed an ashtray inside the room containing a SINGLE cigarette butt. She swore at us again and accused us of smoking inside the room. I tried to explain - That her accusation was completely unfounded, . I had simply brought the ashtray inside so I could empty and clean it before leaving. NO smoking occurred inside the room at ANY time. She refused to listen to my explanation. Telling me I had to pay a fee of $100 at reception. When I questioned her reason for the extra charge. She lied to me. insisting she could smell cigarette smoke—something that was impossible - because it simply had NOT happened. I stopped by reception on my way out. Hoping the nice nan who checked us in night before was there. My intent was to explain & apologise for upsetting the lady (his wife). This man was not willing to listen to me. Telling me he had already deducted $100 penalty - from my bank account. Without my consent, leaving my account overdrawn. As a result, I did not even have enough money to buy fuel for the trip back to Queenstown. What disappointed me most was not simply the money—it was the complete lack of professionalism, respect and basic human decency. to hear our explanation, no empathy for someone with a visible disability, and no effort to resolve the situation fairly before imposing financial penalties. As someone who has spent more than 20 years working in New Zealand’s hospitality industry, including managing accommodation properties and owning a successful commercial laundry business, servicing accommodation providers in ,Queenstown. I understand the importance of enforcing company policies. For protection of the company. And the following of procedures when dealing with difficult guests. I have handled countless challenging situations professionally and respectfully. Without swear words. Based on this experience, I consider the conduct we experienced to be entirely unacceptable and deeply damaging to the reputation of New Zealand’s hospitality industry. In my opinion, policies exist to protect businesses—not to punish guests. Just because one has the power to add on extra charges and deduct a credit card. . Does not make it ethical to do so. . Especially without communication, or i consent. Shutting down the guests. opportunity to respond or explain. . Just because a business can rely on a (not sighted, or explained) )policy. As a way to enforce extra charges does not necessarily mean doing so is legal or justified. Our stay began with a warm welcome experience - but ended as one of the most unpleasant motel hospitality experiences I have EVER encountered.

The managers were pleasant helpful people. The unit was very comfortable. The motel is so close to Queen's park for visiting.

The washing machine. Please use logic and post the operating instructions on or next to the machine. 1. Do not put washing powder into the machine. 2. Blue washing liquid is automatically dispensed into the machine during its cycle. The existing secret code of clear sticky tape plastered all over the Maytag nameplate can only lead to a warranted failure.

Only small complaint is the shower curtain. It's one of those ones that gets sucked into the shower area and plays tag with you. But, doesn't stop me from booking on my next trip.

This motel was well maintained and in a great location. It is only a few minutes from the centre of the city and nearby gardens. The host was welcoming and ensured `i knew where cafes, restaurants and local city features were located. The unit was warm and quiet with parking at the door.

Comfortable bed and comfortable temperature in the unit. Appreciated the soundproofing - couldn't hear voices or Tv etc from adjacent units (though could hear road noise) well equipped with all the basics.. Roomy bathroom

Shower over the bath was a little awkward for my elderly husband - a grab rail would have been helpful. Also the access/egress from the motel complex took a bit of getting used to due to it being directly on a multilane road with a median barrier strip - ie could only enter and exit in set directions (with the direction of traffic). A tad inconvenient washing dishes in the wash hand basin, though to be fair - there was a sign saying to leave used dishes out on the bench

名前の通り、インバーカーギルの名所でもあるタワーロッジの目の前にあるので、散歩していても帰り道が目印になりました。 中心部にないですが、少し歩けばカフェやレストランもあり、さほど不便は感じませんでした。 左折してしばらくあるくとホームセンターがあって、その中にカフェもあったので滞在中はそこに朝食を食べに行きました。

特にないですが、近くにスーパーがなかったので、夜ご飯はTake awayで買って来たのをで済ませました
