El desayuno exelente... llegamos tarde pero igual los chicos nos atendieron... En la noche nos tocó ver el partido de Argentina vs Suiza y el Resto del Hotel como en todos los alrededores estaba lleno... Pero los chicos enseguida aparecieron una mesa y nos ubicaron y se encargaron de que estemos lo más cómodos posiblessss... unos geniossss...

The hotel has a great location, the room was comfortable.

Unfortunately, after checking out I noticed that a significant amount of cash was missing from my room safe. I have reported the incident to the hotel and they are currently reviewing it. I hope they investigate thoroughly, as this was the first time I have experienced something like this.

Mi experiencia en el hotel fue aceptable en varios aspectos, pero hay un hecho muy grave que considero importante compartir para que futuros huéspedes tomen sus precauciones. Durante nuestra estadía, un compañero de viaje denunció la desaparición de dinero en efectivo que había dejado guardado dentro de la caja fuerte de su habitación. La situación fue reportada al hotel, pero la experiencia nos dejó una gran sensación de inseguridad y desconfianza.

Very clean. Good location close to the main square. The hotel was very quiet and staff were helpful. Very tasty empanadas!!

The street could have been noisy if you are a light sleeper.

O Hotel é realmente incrível. Tem um design único. Bem no centro de Salta. Cama de alta qualidade. Funcionários excelentes.

Apenas fiquei chateado que não honraram o upgrade que o Booking tinha me oferecido.

I didn’t like that they didn’t promote their restaurant. The food was really good!!

This hotel is in the centre of Salta one block from the main square. Big bedrooms, kettle and tea and toiletries provided with fridge. Buffet breakfast was fine. Pleasant lobby sitting area and bar. Luggage was stored for free when we had an overnight stay and took hand luggage only to Purmamarca. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Small plunge pool on rooftop was well maintained. Traffic noise in bedrooms because you are in city centre stopped between about 2330 and 0600 and for us didn't disturb sleep as we were busy in the day on tours. Good option to stay in Salta.

Eduardo and Natalia were amazing and very friendly. The food was very delicious.

Es la 3ra vez que voy. Nos gusta mucho el lugar, ubicacion, espacios. Las camas son comodas y lindas vistas. El desayuno muy completo con personal muy atento y servicial.

Internet no esta a la altura del hotel, la señal es un tanto debil. Y da la sensacion, de que a pesar que es un hotel bastante nuevo y "moderno", esta comenzano a tener ciertos temas de mantenimiento. Hay un desgaste logico, pero seria una pena que no los encaren a tiempo. Pero es una opinion a futuro quizas

Minha estadia no Design Suites Salta foi excelente. Os quartos são extremamente confortáveis e muito amplos, proporcionando uma sensação real de espaço e bem-estar. A cama é maravilhosa, muito confortável, garantindo noites de sono perfeitas. O banheiro merece destaque à parte: simplesmente espetacular, moderno, espaçoso e muito bem planejado, trazendo uma experiência de hotel de alto padrão. O ambiente do hotel é tranquilo e agradável, ideal para descansar após os passeios pela cidade. A arquitetura é um charme, combinando elementos modernos com detalhes clássicos, criando uma atmosfera sofisticada e acolhedora ao mesmo tempo. Sem dúvidas, uma ótima escolha em Salta. Recomendo!

Clean cool modern rooms in the modern part of this extension to an old mansion. Note that though this is high season the hotel restaurant is closed on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday, but because the hotel is situated in the very centre of the city there are a multitude of other restaurants within a short walking distance. Staff very obliging and let us check out slightly later than the official 12.00

This hotel is in a nice square with some big threes, just two blocks from the main square in the city. That is a perfect spot. The building is part of an old very nice building that has been extended with a rather tall very modern glass covered building. We were lucking to be upgraded and got one of the handful rooms in the old part. So, our room was very beautiful and large with a couple of balconies. The bed was the highest I have seen. The only odd thing was that the nice wooden floor had been hurt by water and not fixed afterwards. So, it was far from being a flat surface. Another thing was the rather limited storage capacity in form of a cupboard on wheels(!?). The breakfast room was also in the nice old part of the hotel and of decant standard. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

La atencion del personal es excelente. Esta bien ubicado.

En la habitacion no hay escritorio y el unico lugar para trabajar es el bar del hotel.

Very friendly staff and always ready to help. Very fast and efficient check in and out. The air conditioning stopped working and immediately was fixed 😀 Big and spacious rooms, comfortable mattress and pillows. Sleep very well 👍 A relax atmosphere helped feeling better. Good value for money. Breakfast was ok. Very clean hotel, all areas where spotless

Stayed 2 nights whilst on a tour. Well situated for shops and some sights, the room was large, nicely decorated with bath/shower, safe, bottled water provided in room and wifi. Our room on the 6th floor, overlooked the street and there was a small amount of noise in the night, but nothing that disturbed our sleep. Reception is large with comfortable seating and English speaking staff, who were helpful and polite. Breakfast was upstairs in the restaurant, buffet style - good selection. We didn't have time to try the pool etc, due to flight delays getting there, which was a pity.

Very nice hotel, well situated to explore Salta. Comfortable with good amenities and lovely staff. Spotlessly clean.

Excellent location

Be aware of the construed exchange rate they apply. Either Booking does not put all information on VAT exemption for foreigners or the hotel forgets to provide it. One feels ripped off.

Que tuve que pagar adicional la cochera, no tanto por el costo sino porque me fue informado al llegar al hotel.

I liked location, close to downtown square but not noisy from crowd passing by. Breakfast options were good. Room was comfortable with an extra bed added.

The bathroom countertop is too tiny to hold all personal stuff. It's a nice minimal design but not practical for a family of 3.

Hotel is in good location and the room and bathroom were a very good size. The room was lacking coffee/tea making facilities and was the first hotel of 3 weeks in Argentina that did not provide free water. We found the communal areas in reception and bar very sterile and not welcoming. Breakfast was only average

location, our room had a great view, rooms are confortable and the employees were very nice.

I enjoyed my stay very much. The corner suites are nice, hot water pressure was strong, AC and heat both worked fine, and the hotel was very quiet. Great location close to everything within short walking distance.

An amazing 5 days. Loved swimming in the pool after along day on excusions. Breakfast was good with enough of a variety. Highly recommend for the money

Modern city centre hotel with extra large rooms.

Parking was difficult even when directed to the assigned parking. Parking team were unhelpful.

Location, cleanliness

It shares the same plaza as the Alehandro which is on Balcarce St. so shopping, dining and entertainment are just blocks away. The main square is also very close in the opposite direction. The rooms are sound-proofed so you wont hear your neighbors but that doesnt mean you wont hear outside traffic when morning rush hour begins. Over all a very nice place with a super helpful staff. Oh and Jing Du chinese is around the block. Who woulda thought pretty good chinese food in Salta...? I will be back because it is much less than the Alehandro.

This was a hotel that was probably an office building renovated attached to an old home which was the upstairs restaurant. It was cheaply done with minimal decor from the 60's. Concrete from the upper floor was the ceiling not painted and the 2 chairs were cowhide covered which does not help for anyone with animal hair allergies. It was 8 long blocks from the center square or any other restaurant. The food and breakfast was okay.

The hotel is very comfortable and located 100m from the main square of Salta. It is a modern structure that may look a bit "cold" or "basic, but it is just the first impression. Rooms are fairly big and very clean. The breakfast room (that serves as restaurant at dinner) is a beautiful place, very elegant. It is used as art gallery for temporary exhibitions. The breakfast itself is fair ( we have had better and richer ones in other place during our stay in Argentina), but, in the evening, it becomes a very good restaurant. We had the best meat of all our trip. Service is top class. They don't have a long list in the menu, but what they have is really good. We were practically the only guests when we ate there and we think this is because the place is not well supported in terms of communication. Also because it has not the traditiomal atmosphere you would expect to find in a traditional Argentinian restaurant.

The hotel is under construction. However, it has nice location and friendly staff. The service is wonderful!!! Location is nice!!!

The property design is beautiful and modern. The location is great so close to the main plaza. The only problem it has been the bathrooms the hot water doesn’t come out in the shower, the toilet doesn’t flush too well and there is a lot of mold on the shower grout. Kind of scary.

The Design Suites was a nice property with English speaking staff and good facilities. The breakfast was adequate. The coffee was not good and to drink better coffee you need to pay for espresso. But it’s not an issue. The shower/faucet was leaking, but otherwise the bathroom was spacious and good, The bed was comfortable, although a bit too firm. The pillows were great. Overall a very good value hotel.

Still our favorite place to stay in Salta. Beautiful lobby, good rooms, good breakfast, great location!

Hotel was perfect

Love this place! Stylish design hotel. Has lovely large, light rooms in perfect location to walk to main sights in central Salta during the day at up to Calle Balcarce restaurants in the evening. We returned 3 times!

Great location. Park across the street is ... interesting at night. Great hotel staff. Great corner room with a view. Nice buffet, bar/kitchen and great restaurant Resto in historic building. We really enjoyed our nine day stay.

Amazing massages

Unfortunately we had to stay here on three separate occasions whilst touring around the Salta area. This hotel is in need of a serious upgrade compared with the other hotels we have stayed in around Argentina. Many of the walls and ceilings are bare concrete with minimal soft furnishings which creates a noisy environment. Each of the rooms we stayed in had an issue and, in the last one, the bathroom flooded every time we used the shower. Obviously this wasn’t just us since the door to the toilet had expanded and wouldn’t shut properly. It’s also the only hotel we stayed in that didn’t give complimentary water in the room and being charged $4400 for two small bottles is unacceptable. The breakfast was extremely basic with a very limited choice. On a positive note the hotel is in a very good location, the staff were very friendly and the rooms were cleaned to a good standard.

The staff were extremely helpful and made our stay quite pleasant. The room decor was fashionable but not extremely livable. The room's lounge chairs looked good but were difficult to maneuver in and out of. Bed and bedding could use improvement to increase comfort.

They said that taxis would be excluded for foreign national. I presented my US passport. I was sustained with my sister, who is actually an Italian citizen, as well as Argentina citizen. CC Argentine they did not discount my taxes. They said that both travelers had to have proof of foreign nationality in order to have that discount. Hence I ended up paying 21% more in tax/ not happy about that.

Comfortable, clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Walking distance to restaurants, shops, etc. but far enough away to be nice and quiet. Love that they were able to preserve the beautiful old building when they added the modern sections.

This hotel is impeccable, the architecture and modern design is tranquil, honest staff, and great breakfast! Central location allowed easy access to cheap shopping sprees. The room is equipped with an electric kettle so I was enjoying my herbal teas and 10000VitC packets. The rooms needs more electric outlets though.
