Nice people. good position. Parking. Comfortable bed

Bit noisy - people shouting outside on a Friday night. Bath ran impossibly slowly and not very warm.

The member of staff was very helpful at our arrival and had been so when I booked the stay a few weeks before in rectifying my error in omitting a breakfast etc. The bedroom/ bathroom was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The location was great, close to the river and also the cathedral/shops.

There was a seal missing to the bottom of the shower screen ( I have the exact same at home) which means that water always leaks to the bathroom floor when showing. A simple fix needed. Something was missing in the feel to the hotel, it was a little staid perhaps. Suiting another type of clientele. We have been spoilt with a couple of hotels in this trip to the south of France and back, where one felt to be genuinely welcomed. So perhaps I am being unfair.

Der Aufpreis für Zimmer mit Flussblick ist im 2.OG aufgrund der kleinen Fenster nicht wirklich gerechtfertigt. Die Seite hat eher den Nachteil das morgens wieder Autos auf der Straße dazu kamen, sofern man wie wir bei offenem Fenster schläft

Elegant hotel at the foot of the glorious cathedral, situated in an incomparably beautiful medieval city. Staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful. Good buffet breakfast. A real highlight of our trip to Bourgogne.

Reception and staff were okay, although they did say they had no parking and then found us parking, location is good but are the only bits that are good about this hotel?.

How can this be a four star signature hotel ? Dirty and in need of new carpets frayed and just awful I would write this at a two star max. Hairs on the bathroom floor the carpets needed a vacuum bits all over the floor , had to wear shoes all the time. Did not enjoy the stay at all in this hotel as just did not feel it was clean.

L'emplacement est parfait pour visiter la ville le personnel était très bien et serviable.

Nous avons pris chambre vue Yonne.... c'était plutôt vue sur les arbres . et route plutôt bruyante avec fenêtre ouverte... les 4 étoiles 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 plutôt généreuses je m'attendais clairement à mieux pour un établissement 4 étoiles...

Toilet dirty Shower very low power Staff all young, poorly dressed & barely helpful. No sign of any senior management. Safe wouldn’t work & not repaired. Breakfast poor & stale at 9.30am , staff started noisily clearing up at 9.50, before finish time of 10am. We paid extra for river view but trees blocked the view.

Location was great, by the river, close to bars and restaurants. . Easy access to the canal.

The river room was not probably worth the money as the trees blocked the river so not worth spending the extra money.

Sur photos, l'hôtel est classique, en vrai, il est vieillot. Nous avons été surpris par le manque de propreté des zones communes (on dirait qu'elles ne sont pas entretenues depuis des semaines). Dans notre chambre, le tapis laisse également à désirer, les fenêtres étaient vraiment sales, toiles d'araignées au plafond et poussière sur les chevets. Salle de bain ok

Il parcheggio comodo privato all’interno della struttura. La posizione lungo fiume ottima. Segnalo la gentilezza della ragazza della reception che si è prima impegnata per cercare di risolvere un problema del telecomando e poi ci ha concesso di non pagare parcheggio una notte.

Le camere sono un po’ datate. I cuscini da migliorare.

On nous a prévenu en arrivant que notre chien n'était pas admis dans la salle du petit déjeuner. Une première alors que nous voyageons beaucoup avec notre petit caniche. Quand un chien est admis dans l'hôtel il peut aller dans la salle à manger. Cela n'a jamais posé problème dans les nombreux hôtels où les chiens dont admis.

Location was fantastic and was the high light of the hotel. Breakfast was nice Room was nice.

Customer service wasn't great, we wanted a drink at the bar and staff ignored us and walked off! Better in the morning for breakfast, but even then the breakfast room was packed and we had to work out where to sit and ask if it was okay to eat outside- Nice hotel but lacks the little details that make the difference.

Fantastic location - hotel a little tired. You can't beat the location of this - right by the river and in the old town. It was very convenient to park at the hotel for an extra charge as we had a full car on the way back to Calais. Staff were friendly and efficient and the room was small but clean.

Everything was a bit tired- the carpets, the decor - not that this was a major problem. The breakfast was mediocre but served in a lovely room but it was at least included in the price.

Petit déjeuner de qualité moyenne pour ce genre d'établissement, œufs brouillés sur-cuits ou trop réchauffés... Pas de céréales proposées, fromage (type comté) coupé depuis un moment car morceaux très secs et piquants, plus de grains dans la machine à café, la personne qui est venue vérifier l'assortiment (viennoiseries etc.) n'a pas vérifié s'il y en avait, ni si tout allait bien pour les clients... Dommage, dans un établissement où on se sent bien et pour ce prix. Et petit truc moins dérangeant mais à noter quand même: dommage d'avoir un mini bar dans la chambre dans lequel il n'y a... Rien.

Бронировали отель с учётом, что у них есть парковка, оказалось, что её нет, пришлось искать парковку отдельно, а это большие неудобства. Не было холодильника в комнате, и двери до конца не открывались, так как комнатушка была очень маленькая. Из-за того, что в ванну двери в БОК двигаются, сильной звукоизоляции Вы не дождетесь, а быстрее её нет. И удручает чистота ёршика(((

Das man separat bzw. kostenpflichtig einen Parkplatz vor Ort dazu mieten musste. Im Reservationsprozess konnte man dies nirgends anklicken oder wünschen. Aber die Mitarbeiterin vor Ort war sehr flexibel und konnte uns einen Parkplatz im Hinterhof zuweisen.

Emplacement idéal. Petit dejeuner simple piur 18 euros...

Chambre petite, vieillote, bruyante (on entend les voitures et le moindre bruit de la rue), baignoire râpée et usée, pas même de quoi suspendre les serviettes, moquettes vieilles, rideaux n'occultant pas la lumière.

Ein schönes Hotel in perfekter Lage direkt am Fluss. Das Zimmer war sauber, modern und komfortabel, die Betten bequem! Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit, und das Frühstück war gut und abwechslungsreich. Ich würde dieses Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen! Der Hotel eigene Parkplatz ist im Hof!

Vieillot, moquette en fin de vie.

Le lit était grand et confortable. Les lieux étaient tranquilles, l'accès facile, et le parking un vrai plus. Petit-déjeuner à deux formules, selon l'appétit. Personnel jeune, vite dépourvu en cas de problèmes, mais sympathique. Au vu des désagréments rencontrés, l'établissement a fait un geste commercial.

La climatisation émettait toutes les dix minutes un bruit de perceuse. La chambre, mansardée, manque de praticité : l'architecture laisse peu d'espace pour contourner le lit. Le réfrigérateur, difficile d'accès à cause des poutres, fonctionne par ailleurs mal. L'ameublement est vieillot. La salle de bains n'est pas digne d'un 4 étoiles : tuyauterie vétuste et apparente, tartre dans la cuvette des WC, papier toilette à peine suffisant, baignoire de petite taille.

Schade, dass die Kaffeemaschine auf dem Zimmer nicht funktioniert hat. Aber das Personal hat uns dann unkompliziert einen Kaffee vom Frühstücksbuffet offeriert.

De badkamer. Alles voelt verouderd aan in het hotel. De privé parking was niet ok. Ik heb m'n auto moeten verplaatsen om iemand anders buiten te laten. Dit kan niet de bedoeling zijn.

Great location and very comfortable with effective air conditioning vital in such extreme heat. Very comfortable bed. Bedroom facilities very good.

The bathroom was showing signs of wear. The tiling & grout was showing mould and needed repair. Side panels was damaged revealing holes around pipework. Lighting flickering and old style panelled ceiling. A walk-in shower may be a useful replacement for the outdated bath and allow for a refurbishment to compliment the High standard in the bedroom.

Si vous aimez l’histoire vous serez servi : la baignoire, le meuble vasque ainsi que le pommeau de douche doivent avoir vu passer Napoléon Bonaparte … (voir photos de la chambre 226). J’ai pourtant été rassurée avant de réserver, en lisant des commentaires indiquant des rénovations. Mais 2 ans plus tard, il n’en est rien … Je suis déçue de voir que des chambres louées au même tarif, ne soient toujours pas rénovées. Les flacons de gel douche étaient vides et le ménage à revoir … Concernant le petit-déjeuner, il n’y a eu aucun réassort sur les plats chauds (œufs brouillés, saucisses, …), bien qu’arrivés 1h avant la fin du service. Tout ceci est très décevant au vu des tarifs pratiqués et aux 4 étoiles de l’hôtel … (Pour info : comptez 13,50€ de plus si vous voulez vous garer sur place).

J’ai apprécie l accueil et la gentillesse du staff, la literie et les serviettes sont très confortables. L hôtel est en plein centre ville le long de l’Yonne est c’est très beau.

The breakfast was spoiled because things like the scrambled eggs, bacon and orange juice were not replenished, and we weren’t late for breakfast….it looked promising otherwise

Le personnel est sympathique, à l'écoute, rendant service. La chambre, climatisation bienvenue en ces jours de canicules, est calme car bien isolée. La literie est confortable. La propreté irréprochable. La vue de la chambre sur l'Yonne est très agréable et reposante. De belles balades à pied possibles au départ de l'hôtel le long de l'Yonne et du canal du Nivernais. Plusieurs restaurants se situent à 50m - 100m de l'hôtel. On peut tout à fait aller dans le centre-ville d'Auxerre à pied, sans problème.

Le petit-déjeuner est un peu décevant. Les viennoiseries sont de qualité très moyenne ; les oeufs brouillés sont un peu secs.

Great location on the banks of the river. Nice room looking on to the river. The room was air conditioned and a good size with a bathroom En suite. Decorated in an appropriate style. There was a heatwave and no restaurant in the hotel so we had room service which was a good option. There were restaurants nearby but it was too hot to go out. We had reserved parking on site and the public rooms were very coo!. Close proximity to the old town.
