Erinomainen sijainti lähellä kaikkea, mutta sopivasti syrjässä pääkadulta. Aamiainen oli huomattavasti parempi kuin viime vuonna. Todella hyvät sängyt.

Dies ist ein wirklich gutes Hotel. Gute Bausubstanz. Alles fast vollständig renoviert. Großzügiger, heller und schöner Eingangsbereich. Wir hatten ein großes Appartement im ersten Geschoss mit zwei getrennten Schlafzimmer, einem großen Wohnzimmer mit sehr guter Küchenzeile, Nespresso Kaffeemaschine sowie einer riesigen schönen Terrasse. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer quasi neuwertig mit guter Möblierung. Sehr gute Raumklimatisierung. Sehr schöner Ausblick aufs Meer und die vorgelagerte Insel. Direkte Strandlage, keine störende Straße o.ä.; stets entspannte Ruhe in der gesamten Anlage. Großzügiger schöner und sauberer Pool; dieser nie zu voll und bestens geeignet, um Bahnen zu schwimmen. Der Strand mit gemischten Sand+Kiesel. Strandliegen mit Sonnenschirm kostenfrei und stets verfügbar. Glasklares Meerwasser. Meerzugang wegen Kiesel jedoch nicht ganz einfach; nach 5-10m kann man nicht mehr stehen, jedoch sofort sehr gut schwimmen. In der direkten Umgebung die ein oder andere Strandbar mit günstigen Speisen und Getränken. Ungewöhnliches Frühstück mit Bedienservice; im Prinzip jedoch guter Ansatz, da nicht ständig Leute zu einem Buffet hin und her laufen, sondern man ruhig und entspannt sitzen und sich unterhalten kann; dies ist im Prinzip sehr angenehm. Basistablett, Griechischer Kaffee, Glas Orangensaft und täglich wechselndes festgelegtes Eiergericht; zwei weitere separate Zutaten wählbar. Ausgezeichnete Sfakianes. Angenehme überdachte Außenterrasse in schöner Lage.

-Meerzugang für Menschen, die nicht ganz fit sind, schwierig; für Kleinkinder und Personen, die nicht schwimmen können, nicht geeignet. -Längere Strandspaziergänge wegen Kiesel schwierig bzw. ohne Wasserschuhe nicht möglich. -Frühstück: Bedienservice - wie oben gesagt - im Prinzip gut, aber: Zusatzwünsche wie Espresso, Cappuccino, Latte macchiato, Kakao, Cola, Wasser etc. sind kostenpflichtig und ganz erheblich überteuert (5-6€!!); das geht gar nicht. In einem Hotel dieser Preiskategorie müssen mehrere Säfte, Wasser, alternative Kaffees, vielleicht auch ein Sekt kostenfrei angeboten werden. Herzhafte "kontinentale" Speisen wie Wurst, Käse, Gurken, Tomaten oder auch eine diverse Cerealienauswahl fehlen. -Die Kosten der Poolbar für kleinere Mittagsspeisen, Getränke oder Cocktails sind ganz erheblich überteuert; wir sind b.B. in eine nette einfache benachbarte Strandbar gegangen. -Die Betten waren im Prinzip sehr gut ("Doppelbett" mit einer großen Matratze); nicht jedoch die zwei benachbarten "Einzelbetten": Hier liegen auf einer gemeinsamen Basis zwei getrennte Matratzen nebeneinander und diese verrutschen stets, da kein Seitenhalt vorliegt - schade. -Zugang zur oberen Etage nur per Außentreppe, die ziemlich hoch ist, möglich. Obere Etage für Menschen mit Gehbehinderung nicht geeignet.

Frokosten var litt ensidig

Apartment and balcony were spacious, comfortable and clean. Staff is polite. Breakfast is exceptional and the restaurant is stylish and right by the sea. It was not crowded and felt very peaceful.

Fantastisk beliggenhet, rett ved stranden selv når man ligger ved bassengkanten. Utrolig hyggelig personale som var svært imøtekommende og behjelpelig. Intim, rolig og avslappende atmosfære. Veldig godt vedlikeholdt uteområde og basseng som alltid var rent og pent. Veldig god frokostservering, spesielt den ferskpressede appelsinjuicen og kaffen.

Vi hadde problem med maur på rommet vårt, spesielt på badet. Når vi ga beskjed var de ansatte svært behjelpelige og vaskepersonellet etterlot en spray på rommet som vi kunne bruke mot mauren. Selv om frokosten var svært god opplevde vi at det ble litt mye sløs av mat ettersom man fikk et fast brett med diverse brød, kaker og syltetøy m.m., i tillegg til det man kunne bestille. Vi så ikke noen spise opp alt en eneste dag i løpet av uken vi var der.

C’était notre troisième séjour au Blue Dome, et malheureusement, nous avons pu constater une dégradation absolument considérable au fil des années. La première année, nous avions été satisfaits. La deuxième était déjà moins convaincante. Mais cette troisième expérience a été, de loin, la pire. À tel point que nous étions soulagés de ne rester que trois nuits. Pour commencer, le rapport qualité-prix est tout simplement scandaleux. Au vu des tarifs pratiqués, nous nous attendions à un minimum de confort et de qualité. Nous avons découvert une minuscule télévision accrochée au plafond, ce qui donne immédiatement l'impression que l'on cherche à faire des économies sur absolument tout.Ce qui nous a ramené à la conclusion que bien que les chambres ne soient pas les memes, les prix sont identiques, votre affectation est donc au bonheur la chance. La propreté et l'entretien de la chambre ont également été très décevants. À notre arrivée, il n'y avait pratiquement pas de savon : les produits présents étaient déjà utilisés et vides. Lorsque nous l'avons signalé, on nous a finalement apporté un minuscule savon. Il n'y avait même pas de serviettes correctement disponibles. La femme de ménage ne passait pas et nous avons dû réclamer son passage. Lorsqu'elle est finalement venue, le sol n'a même pas été nettoyé correctement : aucune serpillière, sol toujours sale, draps non changés et simplement remis de manière extrêmement bâclée. Et comme si cela ne suffisait pas, nous avons trouvé un cafard sur le mur de la salle de bain. Le petit déjeuner est probablement le plus gros échec de notre séjour. Tout était froid, les plats étaient peu appétissants et la qualité était franchement décevante. Le service était extrêmement mesquin, le jus d'orange constitué essentiellement de pulpe et glaçons, ainsi que le café sont servis d'un coup sans rien, le reste arrivait bien après et froid.

The location was superb.

The breakfast was ok and limited. One particular staff member was customer unfriendly. When asked for an alternative for the one egg option they offered, they refused to accommodate and just said their kitchen was too busy when clearly it seemed doable. There was not a huge crowd sitting at the breakfast. The room toiletries were also limited and some seemed used when we checked in.

Niente

Hôtel (type « boutique hôtel ») très bien situé directement en bord de plage (de sable gris / minuscules cailloux mais agréable), belle perspective sur l’îlot en face (visitable en jet ski louable dans l’hôtel voisin) avec une très belle piscine (avec 4 vrais petits couloirs de nage face à la mer), loin du tumulte de la rue. Hôtel calme, bien tenu. Standards « occidentaux » et clim efficace. Kitchenettes plutôt rudimentaires (pas utilisées mais sont-elles utiles?) Petit déjeuner très sympathique au bord de la piscine et avec des spécialités crétoises. Idem, déjeuner « pool side » à la fois classique et local, sans chichi mais vraiment « chill ». Pas de dîner sur place mais quelques très bons restaurants dans les environs immédiats (avec ou sans voiture). Excursions possibles depuis l’hôtel facilement (proximité de la nationale mais assez loin pour ne pas être audible). Supermarchés à côté.

Rien de fondamental à redire. Peut-être une allergie personnelle au tourisme de masse à Platanias ou même en Crète en général mais cet hôtel en est finalement assez éloigné et préservé par son côté « boutique hôtel » qui tranche avec le reste des dizaines et dizaines d’hôtels alignés les uns après les autres sur des kms et des kms…

Eine wunderschöne moderne Unterkunft. Es ist alles super sauber und die Lage am Strand mit dem schönen Pool davor ist wirklich sehr besonders. Unser Zimmer war das vorderste zum Pool/Strand hin und das war auch einfach super schön. Das Personal war immer sehr lieb und aufmerksam.

In der Küche hätten vielleicht noch ein/zwei Dinge mehr sein können. Wir haben hin und wieder was zu essen gemacht und hätten z.B. einen zweiten Topf oder ein Sieb für Nudeln gut gefunden, aber ist kein Muss. Hat alles auch so funktioniert :)

Dobre jedzenie, miła i życzliwa obsługa. Ograniczona ilość gości, nie ma tłoku. Kameralnie. Czyste pokoje, dobrze wykończone.

The room was clean, but poorly designed. We were in our room and could not use the closet or dresser because the doors don't open because the bed was in the way. Our family members stayed in a different room and had a totally different tv then ours and channels. They had a smart tv, and we had a computer screen. The room was comfortable and we had a great view of the water. No front desk after 6pm and bar closes at 9. I would say it’s good for those who want quiet and relaxation. Cleaning crew was good. We didn't eat the breakfast or try the restaraunt as we were up and going before they opened. Overall it wasn't bad but I thought it would be a lot better based on the instagram page and price of hotel. Still not a bad place though and I would recommend it to my elders.

De locatie direct aan het strand, een heel fijn zwembad. Wij hadden een heerlijk appartement. Het is super rustig maar als je de straat uitloopt heb je zoveel restaurants waar je uit kunt kiezen. Bij het strand staan ligbedden waar je gratis gebruik van kunt maken. Ontbijt vinden wij heerlijk. Je krijgt het lekker aan tafel geserveerd.

The beach could be a bit more sandy and less rocky but one of the better beaches in cretes Staff: 9/10 : knew what they were doing and were there to help you out. Sadly, no one is there after 21h. Soif u need assistance, you’ll need to wait in the morning. The staff remembers u, remembers our bames. The cleaning personnel was amazing, knew when we were gone to clean the room Shower: 10/10 had a very original and clean bathroom. Also, the soaps smelled really nice Parking: 10/10 parking is free Activities: 9/10 they had a nice boardgame and book selection and floaties for the kids

Tökéletes volt a szálloda fekvése, a tengerpart gyönyörű és a személyzet rendkívül kedves és segítőkész. A reggeli nagyon tetszett az egész családnak.

Hotelul este amplasat chiar pe plaja, pisicina este superba, personalul super prietenos si dedicat astfel incat vacanta sa fie perfecta. Este o locatie ideala pentru relaxare, si totodata foarte aproape de taverne, promenada si tot ce ai nevoie. Curatenia in camere se face zilnic. Noua nu ne-a lipsit nimic!

Very good breakfast. I loved very much the idea of "a la carte" breakfast instead of buffet. Eggs were the heroes of the breakfast. Also my appreciation for the Orange Juice that was ALWAYS fresh. When it was not possible it was announced. But the communication was honest.

Some extra services are needed for guests that are staying more than just a couple of nights.

We loved our stay here. It is exactly like advertised on Booking. The hotel is right on the beach, quiet, very ckean, 2 minutes walk from great restaurants. Excellent service, amazing staff, lovely owner. We will be back.

Rent og pent, sentralt.

Det er ikke frokostbuffet. Frokosten kommer ferdig på et brett til bordet. Vi var totalt 5 pers med forskjellig mening om hva en god frokost er, og ingen av oss var særlig imponert over utvalget på brettet. Det var litt kjipt å starte dagen slik. Det er for få solsenger ved bassenget, så folk står opp tidlig og holder av plass i timesvis til resten av familien. Så det er alltid veldig mange solsenger som ikke er i bruk, men med håndkle på. Dette er en uting som personalet burde få bukt med.

The breakfast is not a buffet. But is served.. sometimes takes up to an hour to finish breakfast. Also its outdoors.. a challange when its already 30 degrees at 10:00.. not alot of parking spaces

Super beliggenhed og høj standard. Morgenmaden er nok det dårligste jeg har prøvet. Man får en lille platte med tørt brød og så må man bestille en ekstra ting fra et menukort, som æg, yougurt eller pandekager eller noget andet. Man venter utrolig lang tid på det. Buffe havde nok virket meget bedre.

Das Hotel überzeugt mit dem kostenlosen Angebot an Sonnenliegen und Sonnenschirmen am Strand – ein klarer Vorteil für Gäste. Zu beachten ist jedoch die Konsumationspflicht am Strand. Das Frühstück wird derzeit nicht als Buffet, sondern individuell serviert. Für den gezahlten Preis der Übernachtungen wirkt das Frühstücksangebot eher bescheiden und wenig abwechslungsreich. Besonders bei hoher Auslastung kommt es vor, dass die Küche mit den zahlreichen Bestellungen überfordert ist – auch wenn das Team stets freundlich und bemüht bleibt. Vorschlag zur Verbesserung: Die Einführung eines Frühstücksbuffets würde sowohl die Vielfalt erhöhen als auch die Abläufe im Service erleichtern und damit dem Anspruch an das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis besser gerecht werden.

Everything was great about the hotel so if I had to say one thing with the breakfast included there could be a little more variety.

Blisko głównej ulicy w Platanias, a jednocześnie cicho i spokojnie.. Apartament luksusowo wyposażony, gustownie urządzony i wręcz pachnący nowością. Czystość – nieskazitelna, zarówno w pokoju, jak i w całym obiekcie. Obsługa przemiła, uczynna i dyskretna – zawsze gotowa do pomocy. Jedzenie in napoje serwowane w restauracji i barze – przepyszne. Ogromnym atutem były także napoje i przekąski serwowane bezpośrednio do stolików na plaży – pełen komfort! W mojej opinii to absolutny numer 1 na mojej hotelarskiej mapie. Z całego serca dziękujemy Właścicielce Claudii i całemu zespołowi za przepiękne wakacje!

I recently spent 7 wonderful days at Blue Dome Hotel, and honestly, it was one of the best vacation experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we arrived, everything felt perfect. The location is absolutely amazing – right on the beach, with breathtaking views and easy access to the lively streets of Platanias where you can find great restaurants and shops. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable, with all the facilities we needed for a relaxing stay. The breakfast was another highlight of our trip: fresh, varied, and delicious every single morning, with plenty of options for everyone. It was such a great way to start the day, sitting outside with a sea view, enjoying local and international dishes. What really made the difference though was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was genuinely kind, helpful, and welcoming. You can tell they care about making your stay as enjoyable as possible, and they do it in a natural, friendly way, without being too formal or distant. All in all, Blue Dome Hotel is the kind of place you leave with great memories and the wish to come back. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in Crete. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so special!

Nagyon szép szálloda, kiváló elhelyezkedés. Aki nyugodt pihenésre vágyik annak tökéletes. Szép a tengerpart, gyönyörű a medence. A tenger felöli oldalon kaptunk egy lakosztályt, a nagy kényelmes teraszunktól 3 lépésre volt a medence. Minden nap volt takarítás. Az ágy kényelmes.. Szuper szálloda.

Sajnos a reggeli az nekünk nagyon furcsa volt és egyáltalán nem laktunk jól. Semmi nincs kipakolva, leülünk és hoznak egy pohár frissen facsart narancslevet (ez az ami jár), Aztán lehet választani tojást vagy toastot vagy joghurtot gyümölccsel de csak az egyiket! Meg előtte hoznak egy fa tálcát amin van pici vaj meg pici lekvár és 4 pici pirítós ez két embernek. Mi négyen utaztunk két sportoló kamasz fiúval sajnos mindig éhesen álltunk fel. Tehát ha valaki bőséges reggelire vágyik ne ide jöjjön. Sajnos a reggeli miatt mi sem választanánk újból ezt a szállodát.

Alt var helt perfekt.

Lage war super. Direkter Strandzugang und ruhige Lage, aber 100m von der Hauptstrasse entfernt und damit direkt alles notwendige fußläufig zu erreichen. Frühstück hätte für uns noch abwechslungsreicher sein können war aber absolut ok für einen Zeitraum von 1 Woche. Dies ist aber sicherlich sehr individuell. Es gibt eine Auswahl zwischen Ei-Variante, Joghurt, und Toast. Hinzu noch eine Brett mit verschiedenen Brot-Varianten, Butter Marmelade.

Wirklich zu kritisieren gab es für uns nichts.

Beautiful property, with modern reception, bar, dining area. The pool is large and gorgeous, and right on the beach with deck chairs to use for hotel guests. Staff really make this place and the receptionists and bar staff are very personable and friendly. Some of the rooms are more modern than others, but they are all large, comfortable, clean and well equipped with kitchenettes and balconies.

The restaurant wasn’t quite open when we were there, but there are plenty of options around. Our room was less modern than some others and we would’ve preferred a double bed rather than two singles pushed together. Platanias felt over-touristy and was our least favorite place in Crete.

The location, staff, rooms & food/beverage were incredible. Absolutely fantastic all round! Would 100% come back again.

Only thing for me was the gym / fitness centre needs a little upgrading of equipment and slight renovation.

Frühstücksplatz war sehr schön mit Blick auf das Meer. Pool war auch toll für die Tage, wenn man nicht ins Meer konnte.

Frühstück war das einzige Problem. Wenn man so gegen 9:00 Uhr kam, musste man immer sehr lange warten. Und dies nur für einen Omelett.

The location of the hotel was lovely. It was quiet with a nice atmosphere, and a perfect spot by the beach. The staff were friendly and always helpful. The food and drinks were amazing.

Servicepersonal bei Frühstück unfreundlich, bei starken Wind wurde nicht gestattet im inneren zu sitzen.

Tout était parfait. Le petit déjeuner incroyable (sweet pancakes), la piscine propre avec une superbe vue, un personnel attentionné, la chambre était également superieur à nos attentes. Cet hôtel était parfait !!

Desfois il y avait des cafards dans les couloirs de l'établissement (rarement) mais dérangeant quand on souhaite rentrer dans notre chambre ou aller au petit déjeuner.

Very beautiful and well maintained property in the center of Platanias (25 mins drive from Chania) with a generous beach front and pool. Lovely owners and staff, very attentive with the guests from every aspect, worth mentioning that there's a focus on quality (didn't expect speciality coffee in a hotel - same with the food from the restaurant, the breakfast is not a buffet). We will return with pleasure when visiting Crete again.

La posizione è molto attraente. La piscina a ridosso della spiaggia un plus. La posizione dell'hotel è strategica per visitare i posti più belli dell'ovest isola.

Assenza di reception per eventuali necessità. Assenza di bidet. Colazione assolutamente inadeguata perchè improntata a gusti nord europei. Pochissima scelta. Cappuccino a pagamento.....
