One&Only Reethi Rah

Our stay at One&Only Reethi Rah started with a few disappointments, but ultimately ended in absolute delight thanks to the exceptional level of management. Initially, considering the very substantial budget, we received something quite different from what we expected.The first day frankly did not go well. At the airport, we were met not by the luxury signature yacht, but by a very ordinary speedboat, where the only welcome amenity on board was a bottle of water. Upon arriving at the villa, another unpleasant surprise awaited us—the outdoor terrace shower. The hose there turned out to be only 100–120 cm long. To simply rinse off after the ocean, an adult had to literally crouch down. We were deeply upset and felt that our vacation was ruined.However, the way the hotel management handled our complaint completely turned the situation around and proved the resort's true premium status.Their reaction was lightning-fast. As compensation, we were immediately offered a two-bedroom beach luxury suite. We declined, because our water villa was spectacular. This was the first time we experienced an architectural layout where a villa has absolutely nothing to its right, left, or front—just the open, endless ocean. Unlike other hotels where privacy is created by solid side walls blocking the view, the villas here are brilliantly angled. This feeling of absolute freedom is worth every penny.Ultimately, all our issues were resolved right on the spot. The maintenance crew promptly replaced the terrace shower hose with a perfectly adequate, long one.Following that conversation, a flawless vacation began, and we truly understood the meaning of ultra-luxury. It manifests in the details. For instance, it was our first time seeing five people diving simultaneously near the beach, manually collecting rocks from the seabed just to make the ocean entry perfect for the guests. For women, the room features a proper vanity table equipped with Dyson hairdryer, completely eliminating the need to pack your own from home.A standout aesthetic and culinary highlight was the flagship Japanese restaurant, Tapasake, which rightfully ranks among the top 10 best restaurants in the Maldives [Tapasake Restaurant One&Only Reethi Rah]. In the photos, you can see the stunning champagne flutes they use—they are a true work of art. Speaking of standards, guests are welcomed in the villa with a bottle of premium Louis Roederer champagne, rather than some cheap prosecco or basic sparkling wine. It is precisely these details that signify true luxury and the highest status of a resort.To be fair, not all of the hotel's restaurants are as flawless as Tapasake. There were dishes in other venues that did not quite suit our taste. However, the management demonstrated incredible flexibility: any disputed items were quickly removed from the bill, alternatives were offered, and we always reached a mutual consensus effortlessly.Another great feature of the hotel is the sauna area in the spa complex, which is completely free for guests. You can sense a deeply professional approach there: it features two cabins with completely different temperatures, and most importantly, a cold plunge pool at around 12°C alongside an extreme cold barrel at 6–7°C. Such a serious, therapeutic approach to thermal therapy is a rare find even in dedicated wellness hotels.Tremendous attention is paid to children here, and not just at the kids' club. At the Beach Club, an excellent animator is constantly working, taking the children for activities (playing tennis or pool with them) while the parents relax. Right in the ocean, there is also a great inflatable water slide that the kids absolutely love.Among the temporary downsides, it is worth noting that two-thirds of the island is currently closed for a massive renovation that will last until the end of 2026. Because of this, unfortunately, it is impossible to see and walk around all the beaches and lagoons the hotel is famous for. However, the scale of the property is so immense that even the remaining accessible part was more than enough for a completely private and relaxing holiday.The conclusion : every hotel makes mistakes , but the way One&Only values its guests and solves any issue puts this resort head and shoulders above many others. We were absolutely delighted with our stay and will definitely return once the island is fully renovated. P.S . My advice-put more traffic signs for those who use bicycles themselves.

I had a fantastic experience at One & Only Reethi Rah. One of the best resorts I have been to, and this is compared to the most luxurious and exclusive resorts in Europe and Asia. Upon arrival, you are greeted by the airport and transportation team. Me and my partner were lucky to have the yacht for exclusive use and there were 5 crew members taking care of the two of us. Upon arrival on the island, we were greeted by our host, Yiting, alongside many members of the team. As we arrived quite late in the evening, we hopped on a buggy and did a private check-in in our water villa and had a quick shower. Then we were picked up to enjoy a 3 course meal at Reethi Earth. Although it is included in the half-board package, the quality is good and service is impeccable. The next days were exciting, adventurous, relaxing, and calming at the same time. The spa is great. The house reef tour is well organised and gives you something to see on this island not known for underwater features (they added one tour for us because the waitlist was considerable). The tennis and padel courts are seldom occupied, so you can basically use it whenever you want. The dolphin encounter was delightful, with the crew members talking through the folklores of the dolphins and helping take a lot of photos and videos. Yiting went above and beyond and arranged for me to join two of the staffs’ football matches, which was great fun. Yiting was very responsive, personal, thoughtful, and always anticipated my needs. My partner had something small go into her foot and Yiting quickly escorted us to the clinic in 10 minutes, where surface numbing and extraction with a needle was performed and we were able to get on with our day. Overall, the vast majority of the staff here is warm, welcoming, friendly, helpful, and know when to approach you vs. give you private space and exclusivity. It is very easy to take stunning pictures because it is so beautiful everywhere, and we were blessed with blue skies and very little rain, even in what is usually considered “off-season”. Tipping is appreciated, but never hinted at or certainly never requested, which you would expect from a resort of this calibre. I almost feel like I had exclusive use of the island, with a staff:guest ratio feeling like 3:1 or 4:1. Maybe this is because half of the island (I estimate 60% of the villas) are closed for refurbishment. It’s very hard to think about ways to improve, perhaps 1)higher dining credits (currently 80USD per head) when dining at restaurants not Earth. With the 18% tax plus 10% service charge it can add up quick 2)extend the breakfast hours. Currently it ends at 10:30, would be nice to have an option to sleep in and come a little later 3)a little more guidance around where the best diving spots are, and a brochure of the sea creatures you are likely to encounter. I am a geek in these sort of things and want to know what I am looking at, and can sometimes feel a little lost when diving by myself. However, I was able to borrow a book from the diving centre. Overall, it’s a 95/100 (I don’t think it is possible to get 100) experience, and Yiting made our stay enjoyable and took a lot of planning/stress out of our hands. Looking forward to returning in the future.

My wife and I first came to Reethi Rah nearly eighteen years ago, just the two of us. This time we returned with our children, wondering if the magic would still be there. It absolutely was – and in many ways, it's improved. The rooms are beautifully updated – modern, light, and spacious enough for a family of four. We stayed in a Beach Villa and loved the indoor‑outdoor flow. Everything worked, everything was clean, and the housekeeping was meticulous. The service was genuinely outstanding. Not the stiff, formal kind – warm, intuitive, and personal. The staff remembered my wife's ginger tea preference, our son's love for coconut ice cream, and even left a little nightlight for our daughter who's scared of the dark. That's not training; that's genuine care. Every request was handled quickly and with a smile. It felt like they actually enjoyed looking after us. The facilities are top‑notch. The kids' club was fantastic – our children begged to go every morning with marine biology sessions and snorkelling trips. The main pool is stunning, the spa is still one of the best I've ever been to, and the beaches are immaculate. Dining across all restaurants – especially the beach grill and Japanese at Kaage – was consistently excellent. But what really stood out was the overall feeling: luxury without stuffiness, privacy without isolation. The island has evolved over the years, but it hasn't lost its soul. It's quiet, beautiful, and effortlessly well‑run. Eighteen years on, Reethi Rah is genuinely one of the best resorts in the world. Not because it tries too hard – but because it gets the basics right and then some. We left already planning our next trip. Highly recommended.

The food was not impressive The noise made by the renovation. At night it is peaceful but during the day it is annoying but the property alerted the would be customers about this point. The 3000 dollars taken from the get go instead of a pre authorization. Should be written in the policy section

The speedbord is comfortable, at the resort, the mainpool beach has tiny waves. It is convenient for playing in the sea. We rode padel boat to snoerkling spot at resort,it is a fantastic and unique experience in my life, fish and reefs we could see. The dishes in each restaurant is good taste, the butler and every colleague is kind and helpful. The whole experience at one&only is wonderful. I am looking forward to next trip in maldives next year.

One & Only Reethi Rah is a wonderful experience rather than a resort. We were picked up at the airport by their representatives and within minutes heading out in the luxurious high speed yacht for a 45 minute ride to One & Only, where we were warmly welcomed by their great staff. Traveling around the island is on electric buggies or by bicycle on winding shady paths. Our over water villa was comfortable, well equipped and very well maintained. Too many features to list, but there was really nothing missing. The attentive housekeeping staff kept supplies replenished and the villa tidy. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast every morning in the main dining area, and for dinner there is a great selection of restaurants from which to choose. We also paid several visits to the excellent spa for massages. The spa is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen and the staff are outstanding. Our host, Hussein, looked after us very well arranging dining, scuba diving, buggies and answering all our questions. Service is excellent everywhere and staff are always welcoming and obliging. We had a great stay here and the only difficult part was leaving.

This hotel is truly on another level. The service is incredible. There is food for every taste. What I liked the most, to be honest, was the food, because there are a lot of healthy dishes, all kinds of vegetarian options, and many different menus. The staff is also very kind. Many thanks to our host, Tonya. The villa is pleasant as well. Overall, I can only say good things about this resort. We would definitely come back again.

We had the most amazing stay at One&Only Reethi Rah. The island is absolutely beautiful, the service was excellent, and every detail made the trip feel very special. A big part of what made our stay so memorable was the people. I would especially like to mention Shippe from the art studio. He went above and beyond his role and made us feel so welcome. He spent time with us, did art with us, went fishing with us, went snorkelling with us, played paddle with us, and made our stay even more special. He made every moment fun and special, I will forever be grateful for the memories he helped create during our stay. I would also like to mention Rossi from the recreation team. He takes care of activities like paddle, the rock climbing, and the games they offer, such as ping pong and pool. He took his time to play football, badminton as well as paddle with us. Also a big thank you to the guys who work at the water sports and our host Mahish who was amazing. The rooms were also incredible, they were kept perfectly clean. The housekeeping team deserve a big thank you as well because they work day and night to keep everything looking amazing. The whole team was wonderful, but Shippe really stood out. Reethi Rah is a place we will never forget, and we will definitely come back!

The ocean was too deep for me in our water bungalow but this is nature and we can’t complain about that.

One&Only Reethi Rah is truly one of the most incredible places we have ever stayed. From the moment we arrived, everything felt exceptional the stunning surroundings, the warm hospitality, and the incredible attention to detail throughout the resort. The villas are beautifully designed, extremely private, and offer breathtaking views of the crystal-clear water. Every part of the island feels peaceful and luxurious, making it the perfect place to completely relax and unwind. The service was outstanding from start to finish. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The dining options were also excellent, with amazing food, beautiful settings, and a fantastic variety of cuisines.

Quite comfortably the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. Been lucky enough to stay at other One & Only’s, Four Seasons, Rosewood’s, Ritz Carlton’s, Mandarin Oriental’s, St Regis etc over the world and none come close to this. It’s quite obviously beautiful, and is extremely well maintained, but all of the staff go the extra mile to ensure you have the best time. It’s hard to pick out individual names, but in particular, our host Yiting and Fadde who managed Tapasake were both exceptional. On top of this, all of the food was world class and is worth coming for alone. We can’t wait to return for longer next year and see some of the renovations!

The staff somehow master the rare art of being both impeccably professional and genuinely warm. Every request was handled effortlessly, often before we even had to ask. You are not treated like a guest here — you are made to feel like the only people on the island. The dining was exceptional throughout. Each restaurant offered something unique, from world-class Japanese cuisine to fresh seafood and unforgettable beachside dinners under the stars. Even breakfast became an experience we looked forward to every morning. The attention to detail across the resort is extraordinary. Bicycles waiting outside your villa, perfectly curated interiors, immaculate beaches, tranquil spa treatments, and endless activities — snorkelling with vibrant marine life, paddleboarding in calm lagoons, or simply doing absolutely nothing in paradise. What makes One&Only Reethi Rah so special is that it manages to feel both grand and intimate at the same time. It is luxurious without ever feeling pretentious, exclusive yet deeply relaxing. We have travelled extensively and stayed in some of the finest hotels globally, but Reethi Rah exists in a category entirely of its own. It is not just a resort; it is an experience that stays with you long after you leave. Quite simply, one of the most magical places on earth.

What a magnificent experience！So far the best resort I’ve ever been to:). Not just the views and the facilities, but also the service and all the staff there. The sea view on the island was stunning, and I barely saw any seaweed in the lagoon. Breathtaking views from all angles on the island, especially in your room. Rooms were big and comfy, with beach villas you don’t just have the room, but a whole private area, it was just so large. And I have to mention the housekeepers. Every time we came back from the outside, our room would be tidy as new，even my makeups were put in order. All the staffs there were so nice and were always there for us, when I say all of them, I mean it! Staffs at the restaurants, staffs at the lunch area, staffs at the beach club and the buggy drivers, etc :p… And our butler Yiting，she was always smiling and was so helpful. Always trying her best to find anything we might need. And my favourite part , the restaurants! Love the Thai omelette from breakfast! And the noodle soup! Yummyyyy! They even had honeycomb :p My favourite restaurant for dinner was definitely the Mediterranean restaurant! “Gambas” was amazing!!! You can’t really go wrong with any food there. Will definitely go back again!

It was our third stay at Reethi Rah and we were again overwhelmed with the choice of activities and the kindness and helpfulness of the personnel. Having missed Fandhita, the other restaurants, particularly Tapasake, and Botanica, were excellent. On the Missoni Beach, we would like to mention Ibrahim, Pranna and Ksenija who provided an excellent service. At the resort, Yting and Alejandra were very helpful as hosts. Also the staff at the Kid's Club, including Rassi. deserve a special mention. When we departed from Male Airport, there was a long delay at the checkin and Niyaz and Hussain were extremely helpful in smoothing the process. In addition, the villa cleaning staff excelled themselves (122 and 124). As a general remark, we would prefer a slightly higher charge for the stay instead of having to pay for all the extras separately , e.g. rock climbing with the children in the afternoon, to name one activity. Clearly the resort is in good shape under the management of Jan Tibaldi. Overall. we enjoyed our stay enormously. Nick and Esther D, Switzerland.

We had the most wonderful stay at One&Only Reethi Rah. We first came here in 2016 for our honeymoon, and have been coming back ever since – it has truly become a very special place for us. From the moment we arrived, everything was simply perfect – the island, the villas, the food, and especially the service. Last year was the first time we were finally able to come here with our baby, who was only six months old at the time. It was something very special for us to share this place with him. What made our experience truly special was the incredible care we received for our baby. Aani, one of the nannies at the Kids Club, is truly exceptional. She is incredibly warm, kind, attentive, and genuinely caring – the kind of person you instantly trust. She didn’t just look after our baby, she created such a natural, loving connection with him. You could truly see how happy, relaxed, and comfortable he felt with her, which meant everything to us. This year we came back again, and seeing him now a little older, already familiar with her and so happy to be around her again, made it even more special. Knowing he will grow up coming here and seeing Aani again makes it incredibly meaningful for us. What really sets this resort apart is the feeling it gives you – it truly feels like coming home, like being part of a family. Knowing our little one was in such loving and capable hands gave us complete peace of mind. This level of genuine care is something very rare and made our stay even more relaxing and memorable. We are already looking forward to coming back.💙🌺🌴

The resort is nice , all the so friendly in a professional way. They are all also helpful. All of them tries their best to make our visit, relaxing and enjoyable. The resort cares about the little details, which makes a big difference. Like we ordered coffee from the room service and they came to prepare the coffee at our villa rather then sending a cup of coffee. Shammu did a good job on that.

Stayed at One&Only Reethi Rah for the second time and it reinforced exactly why this place sits at the top. Service operates at a different standard. Every interaction is precise, proactive, and personal without ever feeling forced. Staff anticipate, not react. Food is consistently high-level across every venue. Quality, attentiveness, and variety all hold. Hospitality is the differentiator. There’s alignment across the entire team, not just standout individuals. That’s rare. Returned for our second time. Booked again for this year. That says everything.

We stayed at One&Only Reethi Rah in the Maldives for our honeymoon, and honestly, it was one of the best vacations we have ever had. We were also very impressed by how clean and well-maintained the whole island was. Everything was spotless every single day, and you could really see the attention to detail everywhere. The hotel also made sure to manage mosquitoes, which made the evenings much more comfortable. There was so much to do on the island, and we loved that many activities and facilities were included. We really enjoyed the sports, and it was great to have access to things like the spa, sauna, and gym. Getting around was also very easy with the bikes, and buggies were always available if needed. The managers, restaurant staff, and really everyone at the resort made us feel comfortable, welcome, and looked after the entire time. Overall, our honeymoon was amazing and unforgettable. We left with the most beautiful memories, and we would absolutely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a special and luxurious getaway.

Exceptional! We stayed in One & Only Reethi Rah for 10 nights over Easter holidays. Where do I start - the resort is exceptional!!! Everyone working in the resort are the most friendly, kindhearted and the most helpful people you could ever meet!!! The resort looks stunning with beautiful beaches, villas and amazing food!!! Easter celebrations including the Gala in Reethi Rah were outstanding - my husband and I had the best time and our 6 year old son Joshua was living the dream! Our family has been coming to the Maldives for many years and this was our first time in One & Only and we can truly say that we have found “The One” - we can’t wait to return next year! Special thank you to the kids club - Joshua didn’t want to leave, your care, dedication and all the fun activities planned were outstanding!!! We visited as a family of 4, with 10 year old twins for the Easter holidays. We where blown away with the whole experience. Starting with the beach villa, the beach itself (wow), the restaurants, the spa, the professional and friendly service (thank you Francesca and many, many more), the vegitation around us, the variety of activities available, the constant mosquito control, etc. etc. Small things too, like the boys found their extra beds very confortable. I am happy to say that this resort exceeded all our very high expectations. If this was not enough, we enjoyed the Easter festivities, especially the Galla show and dinner as well as the Easter egg hunt. Lots of great memories. The privacy and quality of the beach itself will stay in our memory forever.

The overwater setting alone is unforgettable, but the Japanese-Peruvian fusion cuisine takes it to another level—fresh seafood, inventive flavors, and that perfect sunset backdrop. What really elevates the experience, though, is the consistency. It’s not just one great meal or one friendly interaction—it’s every moment, every day. That kind of attention to detail is rare, even in the Maldives. Oh, my goodness, where do I start? I have just returned from an 8-night stay at the One&Only Reethi Rah and can honestly say that it is one of the best beach holidays that I have ever had. The island is just stunning with 12 beautiful white sand beaches, 6 amazing restaurants and a beautiful spa. I visited nearly all of the beaches by going out for a walk around 5pm, finishing up with views of incredible sunsets around 7.15pm. I stayed in a beach villa with private pool. The villas are well spaced and are separated by palm trees and greenery, so it was like having my own beach. Total privacy, I was just in and out of the pool and sea over and over again in complete silence (apart from birdsong and the sound of the sea). The villas are equipped with everything you could possibly need, and more. All the restaurants were great. My favourites were Fire and Tapasake (as I love oriental food) and Botanical (as the ambience was wonderful). The breakfasts were amazing with so much choice. I had a lovely snorkelling trip to Makunudu Island and swam with the Hawksbill turtles, loads of parrot fish and saw my first lionfish - beautiful! My host, Eugene, was lovely. The restaurants are open on different evenings and, when I said that I would like to dine in all of them, she planned it all for me and kept me up to date on activities throughout the week. I was probably the only solo traveller there at the time but I was made to feel so welcome and I can’t wait to return. Thank you all so much.

We just came back from 10 days in paradise and it was all we hoped for and more! This was our first time in Maldives and fist time in One&Only, and I can definitelly say that it was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we landed, everything was super smooth, we were assisted through airport formalities by OO team and were on the boat in no time. After a very short and pleasant ride we arrived to this paradise island where we were welcomed by smiling team and escorted to our beautiful beach villa. And then the dream began. I could write pages about how well we were taken care of, how amazing each and every team member is and how quickly our time passed. The food was superb! We tried every restaurant and still can't decide which one is our favorite. Special shoutoot to chef Novy who made our tepannyaki experience so entertaining and fun. Special gratitude to amazing watersports duo Gatho and Thotho who made sure we see manta rays on a snorkelong trip! Ksenia in Beach club for taking care of us and chef Ilija for his amazing wafles. Chef Luka in Rabarbaro for the most delicious lunch. And countless more fantastic team members! Thank you all so much for the amazing stay! We can't wait to come back!

This year at O&O has become an anniversary year for us, we have visited the island 10 times. 10 times we were delighted with the rest. We would like to thank the entire O&O team and say that despite the fact that the island itself is amazing, people still decide, and here they are the best. And there are those who make our holidays really special. Our favorite area on the island is the beach club. This is probably what makes the island unique. Lots of entertainment. It is impossible to get bored here, and typical Maldives become completely atypical with the preservation of the surroundings. We literally lived there and never wanted to leave. Especially on water sports. As a big sports fan and a person who rides everywhere and on everything, I can say with confidence that the island has the best water sports of all the resorts where we have ever been. And this is 100% the merit of the team that works there! There is no such high-level service at any resort where people will dive to you just to put on skis or secure them better. The guys know how to create a mood, quickly teach any activity and give unforgettable emotions. Separately, I would like to mention Gato, who can super clearly tell you when to do what and if you follow his instructions, you will get any trick. In addition to professionalism, Gato has a talent in the field of video shooting. It was immensely gratifying to receive footage and videos that were fundamentally different from those that everyone has. Filming Gato on a drone exceeded all expectations! I would like to thank Thohtho for demonstrating tricks right out of the water, he was very motivated and inspiring, I always wanted to reach out and at least get a little closer to this level of skill. Gato and Thohtho are a unique tandem, the guys have always had the best trips, whether it's wakeboarding, water skiing or a trip to a desert island. The guys made sure to take an awning with them, towels, water, and organized a family shoot for us. All trips were accompanied by well-chosen music and a great mood. And after a good rental, be sure to have a happy dance. Have you ever seen such support anywhere? The guys are very charismatic and energetic! The icing on the cake was that while wakeboarding, the guys even managed to find and show us dolphins, these are unforgettable emotions! In short, they took care of us all the time, paid attention to every detail and showed that they were the best of the best! I would also like to thank Shiyaаn, who is also always there for us and traditionally arranges the best jetski, boat and banana tours every year, showing us the most beautiful places in the Maldives and capturing them on camera. Thanks to Richte, who fills this place with a special atmosphere, he is especially kind, attentive and caring. He's the kind of guy who'll dive in to help you at any minute! I've never met such people before! All of the above guys are very athletic and pumped up, it's a pleasure to ride with them! It is clear that they are professionals! I would also like to mention Katya, who quickly joined the process and caught the wave of the atmosphere that prevails there. It was always a pleasure to chat! In general, I would like to thank everyone who has been working on the island for many years - it is those who have been working for years - who make the most impression on their holidays! Thanks to Adam and Muse! From the recommendations, I want new activities to appear on the island every year. I really want the wakesurf to be returned and closely follow the trends so that you can always try something new and interesting. Thanks to all the guys who work directly at the Beach Club itself. Maamaa, who was always very attentive to us and was always interested in how our vacation was going, what else we could do. Here I would like to mention Sabina, who is always very helpful and talks about everything, and Bindu, who does the best massages and treatments! I have never received such pleasure! She is very kind and cheerful! Let's move to the breakfast area, where, thanks to the guys who have known us for many years, especially Mugay, Naappe, Ahmed Shareef , Hafeez, we have always had an abundance of fruits! It's nice that the guys remember what we love and are always attentive to our wishes. And before entering for breakfast, Fathuhee always greets, who not only always helps to put up bicycles, but is always very kind to all guests. He always tries to say something in Russian, always surprises with his creative talents and gives pleasant things made with his own hands, which then always remind you of a wonderful vacation! Many people have known us on buggies since an early age, they know how much we love to ride and always share our memories together! It's nice that the team is so attentive and hospitable. I don't remember all the names of the guys, but I can definitely mention Maal and Easa. I would like to note that the level of cuisine in the main restaurant, in Aqua and Earth, has grown significantly. It became very tasty! And they entered the top of the best and our favorite restaurants! Just like the mega project, Tapasake. Thanks to the guys from the diving center, special thanks to Nabeel! For many years now, he has been organizing the best excursions for us, making the best underwater shots, and inspiring admiration for his professionalism and skill in free diving. It also helps you catch fish while fishing! Thanks also to his partner who was with us! The guys show incredible care, you just swim up to the boat, and they already take off your fins, you just start climbing the stairs - you are already greeted with a towel. This is a wow service! Finally, I would like to say about the Butlers. We probably had the only negative impression here during the first week. This time, Aziz was assigned to us. Aziz did not fulfill his duties, never approached us, did not inform us about upcoming events and events. When asked why they didn't even send us a schedule for the week, Aziz didn't try to solve the situation in any way, but simply refused us. After that, he never even greeted us. I'm not even talking about the fact that I've never put my hand to my heart, as is customary on the island, this is a very nice and friendly sign of the island! I ask you to pay attention and take measures against Aziz, we are not the only ones who are unhappy with his work. Such indifferent and unprofessional people should not work at such a high-level resort. You should pay attention to the Russian-speaking host and be sure that each of the employees is proactive and makes every effort to ensure that your stay is as comfortable and high-quality as possible. Fortunately, in the second week they gave us Taya, who did an excellent job with all the duties and was the complete opposite of Aziz. An example of how to work. Thank you to Tae, who always helped with everything, informed about everything, always took me to bugs before dinner and promptly resolved all issues! Many thanks to the hotel management! The best hotel we have ever visited, this is our second time . In this hotel or resort, everything is ideal, starting from the very welcome at the airport, the phenomenal yacht that takes you to the island, the welcome on the island – unlike other hotels, upon our arrival, we were greeted by the General Manager of the resort, Mr. Jan, and the Resort Manager, Miss Larisa. The villas offer perfect privacy, which is very important to me, nice pool.The resort is arranged down to the smallest detail. I'll give just one example: while cleaning the sand around the villa, they create geometric figures from it. Moving on to the beach club, Missoni, beautiful music, very tasty food, and an extremely kind girl, Ksenija, who took every order with a smile. Always polite and smiling. Even though my favorite place for swimming was the other beach with a pool. In this resort, all the restaurants are like Michelin-starred restaurants. Fandita, where the sunset is beautiful, phenomenal cocktails; Aqua, where we enjoyed a lovely intimate atmosphere; and of course, the best in the world, the Tapasaki restaurant, the only place in the world where I personally eat sushi, where the chef will come out and explain where the fish and seafood came from. During our stay, we had the opportunity to enjoy and try the food of two chefs who have Michelin stars. Such a taste of food, the presentation, the combination of flavors – something unrepeatable. All of this was beautifully explained in our, shall I say, Balkan language by Aleks, yet another waiter who demonstrates that in this resort, everything is at the highest level. My favorite at Tapasaki is the dessert, Chocolate Fingers; you absolutely must try them.As we returned here second time John remember what is my favorite desert. Thats tell to me how much every person on the island take care for guests. As I don’t drink alcohol vine card of non alcohol vines is very big, and all form vine what I tried was very good. Since I'm already talking about sweets, I have to mention Chef Lajos, who makes very tasty desserts and is always ready to fulfill every child's wish when it comes to sweets. Last but not least is the kids' club, where our son spent time with pleasure. I think it's every parent's dream while on vacation that when you ask your child, "Do you want to come with me to the beach or go to the kids' club?" you hear that they want to go to the kids' club. A big thank you to Bunny, who spent time with our son. The level of the resort is sufficiently spoken for by the fact that everyone in the kids' club is, at any moment, ready to bring the child to you, wait for them to chat with you, and then take them back to the kids' club. After our second visit to this resort, we have one big problem: we cannot find anything similar anywhere else anymore. :) I wholeheartedly recommend the resort. And a huge thank you to Aleks, Ksenija, Lajos, Bunny, Miss Larisa, and Mr. Jan for an incredible vacation. We will definitely see you next year as well.

Back from our 3rd visit and it reconfirmed why we did- there just isn’t anyplace like it if you want your own little bit of heaven. Our host Yiting took excellent care of us and always greeted us with a warm and genuine smile- she’s a special young lady. And a huge thanks to Adonis, who we were lucky to have as our personal trainer. If you want someone to make a work-out fun, he’s your man. O&O are lucky to have both of them on their staff! The new Tapasake structure is stunning, no doubt and well worth the investment. But, we miss the old outdoor setting in the garden. For us, some of the indoor spaces in the new structure lack warmth and ambience, but this is obviously a matter of a taste. Fabulous sunsets and views across the reefs. Fanditha is still our favourite- the setting cannot be beaten. A huge thank you to all the genuinely kind and thoughtful staff, from all the restaurant staff, gardeners who keep the landscaping in pristine condition and to the housekeeping team! We will be back and are looking forward to seeing all the new upcoming improvements put into place. Not sure how they’ll top what’s there, but knowing the philosophy to be the best, I am sure they won’t let us down. See you soon One&Only Reethi Rah!

We had a wonderful stay at the resort and truly enjoyed our time. The weather was great although we were told it might rain, we were lucky to have beautiful weather throughout our stay. The resort offers many restaurants, so there is always variety, and plenty of activities to enjoy, including water sports and a very relaxing spa experience. The team was very professional, extremely friendly, and always happy to have a good conversation, which made the stay feel warm and personal. The kids’ club was excellent. There is a dedicated pool and two playrooms for kids. The area is not very large, but it is well organized and offers many different activities, with new things for children to enjoy every day. The team was amazing—fun, caring, and very engaging with the children. We especially appreciated that the kids’ club team speaks multiple languages. We also really enjoyed the food, especially at Botanica and Fire❤️ Thank you to the entire team for the amazing work and for making our stay so memorable.

At some point during our stay, we genuinely forgot what day it was and that’s when we knew: we had officially made it to paradise. Great service! My butler Yting is really professional and responsive! She helped us a lot and cate about us! Everyone in the resort is so nice and welcoming! Warm atmosphere! It’s like a paradise! I want a lobster in OO’s 2024 menu, although they changed the menu twice and it’s no longer in the menu, they made it for me! Especially a missing ingredient, they find it to make it exactly the same! Thank you OO for bringing me great memories!

Dear One&Only Team, I would like to share our wonderful experience during our recent stay at One&Only with my family. We came for the festive season, and it truly was one of the best holidays we have had. Everything was exceptional, from the atmosphere to the service. We absolutely loved the variety of restaurants — being able to enjoy Japanese, Arabic, and many other cuisines was such a pleasure. We tried almost all of them, and our favorites were Tapasake & Fire — both were outstanding. My children were especially happy with the Kids Club. They absolutely loved the activities, the energy, and the warm vibes created by the team. Every day they came back excited, often bringing little giveaways and surprises back to the room, which made them feel so special. The New Year’s event was amazing!!!!!!! my husband and I were able to enjoy the celebration while the kids had a fantastic time at the kids’ corner. It was perfectly organized. I would love to mention all the Kids Club team members by name, but I’m afraid of forgetting someone - so I would like to sincerely thank everyone from the Kids Club team for giving my children such a joyful and memorable experience. I would also like to thank Housekeeping for the lovely gifts we received in our room. It was a beautiful and thoughtful touch that we truly appreciated. Villas are very large and beautiful. We always choose the beach room here because you get the nicest and the largest beach in all of the Maldives. I love the Japanese complex for sunset. Lovely experience, service is good, not the best I’ve had in the Maldives. Overall lovely and relaxing stay.

Perfect for couples in love! It is so beautiful and so well kept, the beaches, the roads, the villas, and you do not see people! The service is as kind as effective. We choose the healthy way: Gim, massage, sauna and spa everyday. Then beach until the sunset and dinner at our favorites, the Japanese and botánica. The price is high but worth it! We will come back every year. Bravo!

A place with the most rightfull name there is, One&Only. A place where you feel the genuine kindness and welcome from the second you touch their boat after landing to the last wave from them when you leave the resort. Here simply everything works and energy is simply incomparable to any other place. Its not just about amazing food that they offer, clean everything, best Spa we have ever visited, amazing beach club, Fandita, Tapasake& Tepanyake vibes or Botanica perfection with amazing mr Joseph in charge of its looks and the most tasteful food right from their gardens, its about each person working there that gives you the feeling that they enjoy being there as much as you. Each day they offer so many events that when you leave you wanna come back next week to attend them all. We always find superb experts/healers visiting in Spa and each of them gives us so many good feelings to take home and then work on what we've learned. Dont look any further if you are going to The Maldives. This is one of the best resorts in the world and our experience exceeded all expectations. From the arrival to the departure, everything was 10/10. The rooms, amenity spaces, and food are all 11/10.

Unfortunately, our stay ended on a disappointing note. On our departure day, I arrived at breakfast just five minutes late. Despite informing my butler, I attempted to take some food from the already-cleared buffet, but the staff were not attentive or helpful, leaving us with a negative experience right before check-out. While we appreciated the Food & Beverage Director visiting our table, his responses were very harsh and abrupt. His condescending attitude and communication style were unpleasant and did not reflect the level of hospitality we expected. Throughout our stay, it was extremely difficult to find a waiter, (Beach Club) and orders often arrived late. For a bed & breakfast hotel, the beach operation should be far more efficient and proactive. Despite the very high prices, it was hard to receive value for money from the beach service. Our honeymoon at Reethi Rah One&Only was nothing short of extraordinary - an experience that exceeded every expectation and will stay with us forever. From the very moment we arrived in Malé, we felt exceptionally well cared for. We were warmly welcomed, our luggage was seamlessly taken care of, and we were escorted to the yacht for a breathtaking one-hour journey to the island. The arrival itself already set the tone for what would become an unforgettable stay. Upon reaching the resort, we were greeted with genuine warmth by Jan whose Swiss-German hospitality made us feel instantly at home. Our host, Rasheed, truly elevated our entire experience. He took the time to show us around the island and then introduced us to our stunning and spacious overwater villa #211, which we absolutely fell in love with. The villa was beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with countless luxurious amenities. Every detail reflected perfection. It was attended twice a day beautifully by Zakee and team and we received a beautiful special every night. We would like to especially highlight Zakee- he went absolutely out of his way and this is the best what we ever experienced - and we have been to many gorgeous places all over the world. Choosing a favourite restaurant was nearly impossible, as every dining experience was outstanding in its own way. On our first evening, we dined at Tapasake, where we were welcomed by a fantastic team, enjoyed exceptional food, and loved watching sharks glide by beneath us. We also returned for pre-dinner drinks, as the sunset views there are simply magical. We were always catered fantasically by Arpan helping us to choose the perfect wine (even after Arzuaga was drunk out!) and Dilshan. On the second night, we enjoyed pre-drinks at Fandita, again accompanied by a spectacular sunset and wonderful service from a charming and very engaging young waiter. Dinner followed at the Treehouse, which was an absolutely magical experience. The setting, the atmosphere, and the beautiful decorations made the evening feel incredibly special. Our third night was spent with live music at Botanica, which became my personal highlight of the entire trip: thanks largely to Joseph. Not only was the food and atmosphere exceptional and hopelessly romantic, but Joseph took the time to show us the garden at night, which was truly impressive. Seeing zucchinis, chillis, vanilla, passion fruit, and various types of basil growing right there was fascinating! Especially the zucchinis, which I absolutely loved. The experience became even more special the following day when we returned to Botanica, planted our own olive tree, received a private garden tour, and even tasted fresh passion fruit. This moment was deeply meaningful to us and will forever be one of our most cherished memories. On our final evening, we returned to Tapasake, where we were once again welcomed with such warmth and hospitality. The food was exceptional, the atmosphere perfect, and the evening unforgettable. We enjoyed it so much that we even changed our original reservation elsewhere to return - something that speaks volumes about the team and the experience. From the chef to every single team member, Tapasake made us feel truly at home. If we were to highlight a few individuals who made our honeymoon so incredibly special, we would like to mention our host Rasheed first- every wish we had was fulfilled with such care and dedication. Joseph will always hold a very special place in our hearts for creating such meaningful and unforgettable moments. And of course, the entire Tapasake team, who turned every visit into something extraordinary. We also want to mention Zakee explicitly. His care deeply impressed us. One of the most amazing experiences we have ever had. The location ,the views, the staff everything and every one was so welcoming. Our host helped us so much with everything and was always ready to fulfill pur requests. The resort had so many attractions and activities that 8 days were just not enough. Definitely will be going back.

What a dream vacation — truly a special, unforgettable experience. I loved every minute here and honestly couldn’t have imagined a better stay. From the moment I landed, everything was seamless. I was greeted the second I exited customs, escorted directly to the yacht, and on the island within an hour. The welcome at O&O was warm and genuine — staff waiting, smiles everywhere, and my villa host giving me a full tour before taking me to the villa. The island itself is pristine and stunning, with lush greenery and an incredible sense of privacy. You rarely see other villas, which makes the whole experience feel intimate and exclusive. The only drawback was the presence of mini CAT bulldozers due to maintenance on certain villas; the sight of heavy machinery did detract from the ambiance at times. Ideally, this should be limited to very early morning or late evening when guests aren’t out enjoying the island. The service, however, is exceptional. Professional, polished, warm, and heartfelt — especially the Maldivian staff who added something truly special. My villa host, Hameed, was phenomenal: always available, prompt, and attentive, and he made my stay unforgettable. Rose’s unpacking service was wonderful, and housekeeping and turndown were consistently excellent. Buggy service was prompt but could be slow at times during peak periods. In villa dining was great as well. You could tell that the staff at O&O take a lot of pride in their jobs and in the resort. I really felt this consistently. I also truly loved the hands over heart greeting that EVERY SINGLE STAFF MEMBER addressed me with. It was extremely heartwarming, and I felt seen, and valued as a guest. I stayed in Grand Water Villa #154, and it was gorgeous. Spacious, immaculate, beautifully designed — even the standard water villas are stunning. I loved the closet and vanity layout and the incredible bathtub overlooking the Indian Ocean. Absolutely breathtaking. The Grand Water Villas also come with a jacuzzi and a large pool; on rainy days the jacuzzi was pure heaven. And the ladder leads straight into the most magical lagoon. The dining is fantastic, especially breakfast — truly outstanding. The selection of cuisines across the buffet and à la carte menu makes it a dream. Service in the morning is warm, welcoming, and attentive. Tapasake was another highlight; the sushi was among the best I’ve ever had, and the restaurant itself is visually stunning. The main pool area beside Reethi restaurant is gorgeous, with the long infinity pool and then the other pool under the trees. Visually stunning. Lifeguards were always present, and helpful. Pool service was excellent. With regards to the activities, I did not really explore any of them. However, I did do the photoshoot, and while the photos were edited very well, I think the photographer could be better at guiding his subject into poses, and give better creative direction. I've done a lot of photoshoots around the world, and this one was not as well done as others. Still, very happy with the photos! Larissa, the resort manager, was also present throughout the stay, greeting guests and making sure everything felt personal and well looked after. Everything was fabulous. Overall I cannot wait to return!

Our vacation at One&Only Reethi Rah was, without exaggeration, absolutely wonderful. From the very first moment on the island until the day we left, everything was flawless: the attention to detail, the care of the staff, the peace, the beauty of the place, and the feeling that each day was created especially for us. Where do we start, our stay at the One and Only was absolutely a slice of heaven. The staff were the most accommodating and friendly, they couldn’t have made us feel more welcome. The resort, the facilities, the restaurants were out of this world! A special mention to Eugene- our host- she couldn’t have made our stay any better, Abdul gadhir, Aduham, Faiz and Isha waiters and waitresses were the nicest people and couldn’t of done enough for us. We just returned from One&Only Reethi Rah, and we are already missing it more than anything. It’s hard to describe a place that looks like a postcard, every palm tree perfectly placed, every shade of blue somehow brighter than the last. The resort itself is pure luxury, but without ever feeling pretentious. Spacious villas hidden in lush greenery, private beaches that look like they belong only to you, sunsets that make time stop… It is beauty that constantly surprises you, even on the last day. From the moment we arrived, Jan and Larisa made us feel as if we were visiting dear friends rather than checking into a hotel. Every detail was planned with such warmth and care, and thanks to them, our stay truly became unforgettable. The sweetest part of our Reethi Rah story definitely belongs to Lajos — the pastry chef who turned every dessert into a little work of art. Huge thanks to Gato and Toto for turning the ocean into an adventure playground .. snorkeling, exploring, laughing… memories we will keep forever. Kindness and attention of Ksenija and chef Ilija, made every moment even more special — a true feeling of home on a five-star island. And a shout-out to Shippe, who helped us craft souvenirs with our own hands. We left with gifts that carry the sound of waves. O&O Reethi Rah is beautiful, extraordinary, luxurious — but what truly sets it apart are the people who pour their hearts into everything they do. One&Only is truly a beautiful place peaceful, elegant, and perfect for relaxing. The beaches were stunning, the island was spotless, and every corner felt calm! Every time my boys passed by the Kids Club, the team was welcoming and kind. A special thank you to Gigi from Kids club, for always greeting us withg such KINDNESS whenever we visited. We also met a lovely lady at Tapasake dinner (I unfortunately forgot her name) she was friendly and easy to talk to. We truly appreciated the friendly , warm feeling and the positive energy. And finally, thank you to Hussain. The food was GREAT!!! and we finally had time to rest with absolutely no stress.

We absolutly loved everything about our experience at Reethi Rah. Everyone who works there is so friendly, with a beautiful smile on their faces and making sure that your stay becomes a truly unique experience. The variaty of the food and restaurants is excellent and really good. We truly appreciated the privacy which each villa gives you, excatly what we were looking for. A little piece of heaven on earth. The lighting is soft and warm in the evenings, no cold LED lighting, which was much appreciated by us. The villas are very clean and have a nice setting. We definitly will go back to Reethi Rah.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. We loved everything about this beautiful resort and its island setting. The warmth and friendliness of the staff made us feel truly welcome from the moment we arrived. We stayed in a beach villa and loved the tranquil lagoon and the privacy between each villa. Even the overwater villas were thoughtfully positioned around the island rather than lined up along a boardwalk, which added to the resort’s natural beauty. The entire property is stunning and immaculately maintained, and every restaurant offered breathtaking views of the turquoise lagoons and ocean. We also loved the unique jungle atmosphere of Botanica—it's the only restaurant without a view, but absolutely worth a visit. We’re already looking forward to returning to the beautiful One&Only. Our family had such a wonderful time. It’s a paradise… the sea… favorite restaurant it’s fanditha, the Arabic food was absolutely delicious, authentic, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere there is magical. Kids love the kids club❤️🥰 The activities were creative, fun, and perfectly organized for children of all ages. This was not our 1st time returning to the One & Only Resort Maldives, and once again, the experience exceeded all expectations. Each time we return, we are reminded of why we fell in love with this island in the first place. Our first trip to the Maldives was absolutely magical, and OO was the perfect choice. The staff's warmth was incredible, from the manager to the cheerful buggy drivers. We loved all the restaurants, especially Earth (the seafood was perfectly seasoned!) and the stunning Arabic venue. The breakfast mix of à la carte and buffet was brilliant.

this is my 27th trip in the Maldives， I am a diver ，reef quality is very important for my liking， one and only was never on my radar，but partner picked the resort and we came. the biggest impression for this resort is privacy， you would feel alone most time when you walk the resort ，that's something Maldives lacks nowadays， almost all the resorts are packed with villas ​ ​the service is also impeccable， fast buggy response，staff are very eager to help ， special mentioning of Ms Eugene， she has been a very wonderful host during our stay， she provided a level of service that strike a perfect balance between giving guests enough privacy and getting everything done， also our room guy Mr shafeeq is very professional to his word， not just cleaning but attention to detail. ​ ​Dining somewhat didnt meet my expectation though， personally I wouldn't feel a big difference comparing to the 34 resorts I have been to in the Maldives. ​ ​

The resort and the villas are amazing, and all the staff were lovely and really helpful all the time. Even though I was very far from home, they made me feel like I wasn't, feeling all the time that I was in paradise, and the only moment I felt sad was when I was leaving, so I would definitely love to come back!

We had such a wonderful trip to the One and Only Rheethi Rah for our 25th wedding anniversary. The resort was stunning and the staff were all very engaging and helpful. The restaurants and the food were amazing, especially Tapasake, Fanditha, and Botanica. We had dinner on our last night in the private treehouse and it was a wonderful way to celebrate our last night. Shout out to our butlers Mahish and Francesca for taking care of all our needs with a smile. They did a fantastic job or orienting us to the island on our arrival. We would also like to thank Chara for taking care of us on our first night dinner at Tapasake, Baiju for making us such great drinks at Botanica, Bifez for taking care of us at the Rheethi pool for two days, and Akram for making our treehouse dinner memorable. We will always recommend this resort to all and hope one day we will be back.

We spent two magical weeks at the One&Only Resort in the Maldives with our family, and it truly was a dream come true. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and completely at ease. The entire experience was flawless. Our children were absolutely thrilled. Especially with the amazing Kids Club. The staff there (and throughout the resort) are exceptional: kind, attentive, and incredibly professional. It’s clear that every detail is designed to make both adults and children feel special and well cared for. The restaurants are world-class. Every meal was a highlight, but the newly renovated Japanese restaurant deserves a special mention. It’s a masterpiece! Stylish, spacious, and architecturally stunning, it offers a dining experience that is as beautiful as it is delicious. We are already looking forward to our next stay and the kids talk non stop about the magical days we were able to spend there. We (family of four with two children aged 14 and 12) stayed at the One&Only Reethi Rah for 12 nights starting from 10 August and had an absolutely fantastic time there. We were helped by the beautiful weather as aside from 10 minutes of rain, it was sunny throughout. The island itself is large and it is very helpful that all villas come with bikes which my wife and daughter in particular made good use of and thoroughly enjoyed. Otherwise, the buggy service is extremely helpful with chauffeured buggies generally being available in less than 5 minutes. The villas are of a good size and beautifully furnished. We had a water villa without swimming pool which was lovely and it was so nice to waking up to the view across the bay/beach each morning. I would say unless you have young children a swimming pool is unnecessary as the sea is easy to access from the villa. There was a great range of restaurants and we very much enjoyed all of them except Botanica which we did get round to trying. Tapasake was just awesome - with delicious food and breathtaking restaurant and bar area. We were on a half board package and so ate at Earth most of the time which had a lovely and varied menu. Aqua and Fire were also great and we got the half board dinner allowance at any restaurant we ate at away from Earth which is the course half board restaurant. It has to be said that food and drink is not cheap (even with the half board package) but if going to a resort as of such high quality in the Maldives that has to be expected and it didn’t lessen our enjoyment. The service around the resort was just incredible - so friendly and attentive and our host Rasheed was just so helpful and made many helpful suggestions. We also really enjoyed the beach club which had a lovely upbeat atmosphere and plenty of activities to enjoy (water sports, table tennis and pool to name a few). We also enjoyed a snorkelling trip to swim with turtles which was just lovely. We will certainly be back in the future - it is a stunning place to go on holiday, whether it’s for a few days or a couple of weeks!

Reethi Rah is hands down the best luxury resort in the Maldives. The island is gorgeous, with picture-perfect beaches, a dreamy spa, tons of fun water sports, and great activities for kids and teens. But what really makes it special is the staff — they’re unbelievably friendly and seem to anticipate every little wish with a smile. And the food? Absolutely outstanding. Tapasake with celebrity chef Jameel is so good it’s worth coming back for every year!

We had excellent experience at Reethi Rah, and probably the most relaxing holiday with kids. Food was great, service was top notch, everything up to and exceeding what you would expect from a luxury resort. Kids were well taken care of with many activities to choose from. Me and my husband had lots of fun on the beach as well. Wish we could go back one day again!

This place is truly very, very special. As soon as you arrive by speedboat, you enter a paradise. If you are in any doubt as to which is the best resort in the Maldives, this is it, as attested by the A list guest list. The service is second to none; nothing is too much trouble and every need is anticipated or taken care of by incredible staff who are all a complete delight and outnumber the guests by some margin. They were particularly lovely with the children. Cycling around the island amongst the fauna and flora is just so beautiful. We love the O&O brand but this is clearly the jewel in the crown. It has everything you could possibly need and more. Many of the guests are very loyal, repeat clientele and we can completely understand why. Special thanks to our host, Hardy, a charming and consummate professional and huge congratulation to Jan and his entire team for creating what must surely be one of the very best resorts in the world.

Hi, My stay with my Family at One & Only Reethi-Rah was such a memorable one. The villa #123 was so serene, luxurious and was the exact place I was dreaming of. The views from every angle was so scenic and breathtaking. We got many stunning photographs during our stay. The Spa, beach club and the restaurants too had a very comforting and peaceful vibe. The food was exceptional in every restaurant and Tapa Sake was the best for us as we are fond of Japanese food. The service in every place was commendable. Also we had peaceful moments connecting with this beautiful atmosphere here. I love the yoga and meditation sessions too. We would really recommend to anyone and the stay was heavenly. One & Only Reeti Rah is an exceptional resort that exceeded all our expectations! The resort provides complete comfort, a combination of privacy and relaxation, and the opportunity for all kinds of sports and activities. The food is extremely delicious, and the restaurants have been improved both in terms of interior and menu. The food is delicious and the restaurants have been upgraded in terms of both interior and menu. We are extremely impressed with Tepasake, managed by Chef Jamil. We rate it as one of the best restaurants in Asia - in terms of food quality, service and unique contemporary interior. Fanditha, Beach club and Reeti bar and restaurant provide excellent service and food. The staff is very kind, with perfectly clean clothing and always smiling and attentive people. The resort creates the feeling of complete comfort. We would like to add that the hygiene is at a perfect level. The ocean is clean and great for swimming. We rate the resort as one of the best resorts in the world, perfect for a complete vacation, having a unique modern vibe!

One of the best experiences of our lives. The hotel is extraordinary—absolutely stunning! Everything is thought out in detail, from the design of the rooms, restaurants, and outdoor areas, to the care and attention the entire staff shows us. Genuinely kind and thoughtful people, from our host Hussain, to the restaurant staff, the beach bar teams, the lifeguards, and the housekeeping team! The experience is planned to perfection, from the moment we arrive at the airport to the check-in for our departure. The hotel has so much to offer—different restaurants with Michelin-worthy chefs, diving excursions, island tours, water sports, jet skis, tennis, padel—everything you can imagine. We would like to give our heartfelt thanks to the entire One&Only Reethi Rah team for the way they welcomed us and to congratulate them on the fantastic team they have.

It was our first time but I'm sure not the last time at this hotel. My husband and I are both very picky when it comes to the hotel choice. Here we got one of the largest and the greenest islands in Maldives, with just about 130 villas (some of them are under a repair, curious how the renovation will look like). We saw people basically only during breakfast (which was really good, plus they had an additional menu there). Talking about food, there's six main restaurants for dinner and two for lunch, all the places are really nice but our top was pan Asian, Japanese and Arabian restaurants. Back to the first day, from the second we stepped out from the boat(!) we had a warm welcome with the managing director of the hotel, next days we saw him or his deputy (also a very nice woman) every day, asking how's our vacation going and if there's anything they can do. Working staff is super kind, the hostesses and the waiters are always with a smile, as well as the the main chef(?) who is a fan of his job (ex. During the buffet dinner at the Arabian restaurant he will tell you which are his favorite dishes!) We also wanted to say a big thank you to our guest manager Aziza (such a cheerful person!), she was always near by, always in touch, and in control, so we don't forget anything. The facilities, the beaches, gym, sport grounds, especially tennis coutrs (thank you Igor, a great person and a tennis coach) are at a very high level. Also there is a little treat, that i would like to give a notice, after evening house cleaning you will always find a cute souvenir on your bed, and the staff always comes by, while you are away. Summing up, we would definitely recommend this hotel!:)

This was one of many stays we have had in One and Only Reethi Rah, and we chose it again to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. And what a great choice! From the moment we arrived, Larissa the Resorr Manager was waiting for us at the pier. Beautiful Villa as usual, nothing is outdated! The only problem was the wind, though we had requested Turtle Beach or Reethi Beach which do not have wind this time of the year, but there was no availability, so we stayed at North Beach, too windy… For our wedding anniversary dinner we went to the new gorgeous Tepasake, what a treat! Housekeeping was fantastic, bed setting, bubble bath, cake. A special mention to our host Yiting, so sweet and profissional! Had two treatments with Dr. Kumar which were out of this world. Unfortunately we are leaving tonight, but hope to come back very soon with all our children and grandchildren! Until next time!

Amazing family vacation, we have stayed here many times before and where this hotel excels is the service from the workers tending to the gardens all the way through to management, its genuine and personal and can't be faulted. We had an incident where a family member was ill and had to go to the onsite clinic, within minutes Larissa one of the management team arrived to make sure all was ok (11pm!). Food is top notch, especially the new Japanese restaurant - we had a Teppanyaki evening which was out of this world. If you are looking to relax, be pampered and taken care of, this is definitely the place. The resort is undergoing refurbishment (which you do not even realise) villas are being upgraded which is definitely needed as it needs to keep competitive with the new luxury hotels that are opening, but OORR keeps drawing us back and I do not think we can resist!! Special mentions to Larissa (management), Pavel at the beach restaurant, always attentive and pre-empting what we need, every day he was amazing! Also to Wassim in Front Office - we have known him for many, many years and always takes the time to make sure we have everything we need - very professional

Apart from the fact that there were fewer animals to be seen while diving, everything else was perfect. The privacy was strong and the butler service was warm and considerate. It's an island that I would visit again.

One&Only Reethi Rah is our favourite Maldivian resort (my wife and I are big Maldivian worshippers), we visited most of the Maldivian top resorts but there is no place that we can call home except One&Only. We were on the island 8th time in June and we are planning visit once again this year. There is no need to talk about the rooms, facilities and island - everything is on top level as it should be for this rank of resort. The big plus for this resort are people working there, well trained, educated and with good knowledge how high tourism should look like. From the airport arrival team, yacht crew, resort welcoming team, buggy service, housekeeping, hostesses, people working in the excellent restaurants and bars, there is no one error - everything is flawless. And not only that, they are not only doing their job, they really want for you to feel good. Concerning the food - other resorts also have great food but there is no resort that can match with One&Only. Newly opened Tapasake restaurant offers great Japanese flavors and is the best in Maldives. It's also lead by the No.1 Maldivian chef Jameel who is very friendly guy who loves his job and doing it perfectly. He will explain to you what he will cook, how he will prepare the meal and he will wait for your response! Even in Japan you will not have better Japanese food than here! The breakfast and the feeling that you have on breakfast is best in the World! My wife and I can sit in the main restaurant for hours drinking coffee and enjoying the site - beautiful waves splashing under the restaurant and wonderful people working there, they are all perfect! ALL THE STAFF IS FANTASTIC!!! We cannot mention all names because is too many of them, we cannot say who is better! If you are fan of cakes and sweets, there is another magician waiting for you - Lajos! There is nothing he cannot make from chocolate. He made our wedding cake here years ago and we will never forget it. Every time he makes something new and special that you will never have anywhere else. He will surprise you every time! For the anniversary cakes that he makes you don't know are they more beautiful to look or to eat. I have to wait for hours for my wife to take all the pictures from all angles until I can try the cake😀😀😀 Also, you will never have better chocolate fondant than here. Thank you Lajos for making our every stay special!!! We must also mention quality bands playing at Rah bar, they made our evenings fun and memorable! Every band is different in style but unique and incredibly entertaining. Don’t miss them if you are lucky that they are playing during your stay. Big gratitude for our hosts Yiting, Mahish and Hussain – they made every stay unforgettable! They are able to fulfill any request, real professionals. Finally, we must also send our regards to Mr. Jan Tibaldi (GM) who is keeping all this team as one and doing excellent job in continuous perfection!

We stayed at Reethi Rah a few weeks ago but I’ve only jut got around to writing this. We stayed for only 4 nights as part of a split stay so we could be close to Male for our return flight which was of a morning. To be honest, this was our 5th Maldives resort and I was a bit apprehensive, as it is the first one we have stayed without a full house reef as I love to snorkel and for me that’s what the Maldives is all about. I was also concerned that now the hotel is circa 20 years old, it may have lost some of its shine. The resorts we have stayed at previously have been in the sold 5 star or 5+ category so we have been spoilt in the past with excellent F&B. We therefore have been spoilt but have high expectations. Another consideration is the fact they are located in the North Male atoll, which, due to extensive development recently is being busy and a little spoiled. Fortunately we felt whilst not the most remote, the island is peaceful and our location on the island had uninterrupted sea views. This has to be balanced with being around 45 minute speedboat journey from Male which is a big plus. We were allocated a beach pool villa on Reethi Beach. We are normally overwater villa people, loving the lack of mosquitos and sea breezes, but this villa won us over. We adored the beach, privacy and space between villas. We barely saw another soul, although it was low season in late June. That said, I can’t ever imagine it being busy. The villa itself was beautiful, excellently laid out, maintained and had the best amenities we have come across. We wanted for nothing. We especially loved the complimentary bar snacks and replenished fruits - we have never before seen this in the Maldives as one really should at this price point - often being left with rotten fruit or having it whipped away from us after 24 hours with fruit remaining that we were look forward to enjoying! Turn down was perfect also. Mosquitoes were minimal compared to other resorts, but definitely present and we both got a few bites. The lagoon was incredible. The colours of the lagoon were good, not excellent, but we particularly loved the swimming on the softest sand we have ever come across in a lagoon. Now some of this is obviously due to the lack of coral nearby, but it was something we were not expecting and really enjoyed. The lagoon also provided us with opportunities to watch huge rays, sharks and fish gliding by us. Due to the heat, we found the sea more refreshing than our pool - although that was lovely too and actually on the ‘too warm’ side. We did not use the beach club as we enjoyed the privacy and peace our villa provided. However, this provided a more lively atmosphere and plenty of amenities for those who prefer that. The island itself is very large, and this is a definite USP. We enjoyed biking about and exploring. Breakfast was one of the best we have had in the Maldives. Of particular note was the patisserie selection and acai bowls which we loved. We loved everything though and it is complimented by an extensive coffee and tea menu, alongside some really interesting al a carte options. I should caveat this by saying we are foodies so meals are important when we are on vacation. We ate everywhere except Botanica. Our standout favourite was Fanditha serving Middle Eastern cuisine. The food, setting and service were just exquisite and a memory we will treasure forever. Tapasake is an incredible venue having recently being rebuilt. It is huge and beautifully designed. However despite having the 7 course tasting menu which included Wagu and Lobster, we were left a little underwhelmed. Maybe our expectations were too high, but we had expected Japanese food similar to that we have experienced in London and it wasn’t quite there for us, although still enjoyable. We also loved Reethi Fire, the Asian offering. I had one of the best Rendang curries I have ever had, whilst my husband declared the Nasi Goreng was the best he had ever had. We wished at that point we had more nights to dine there again as the menu was extensive and it was hard to choose. The HB dine around credit was sufficient and fair compared to other resorts we have visited. The service was outstanding at every venue. We especially appreciated the GM and F&B Manager speaking to us nearly every day. We felt the chef at Tapasake who visited our table between most courses a lovely touch too as he was clearly very passionate about the menu. So this leaves us in a predicament. We have so many other islands we want to visit and our ‘one off’ trip has left us wanting more. We would not hesitate to return.

We stayed at One&Only Reethi Rah with our two children and honestly, it was one of the best holidays we’ve ever had. From start to finish, everything felt seamless and thoughtful, but never overdone. The island is stunning—white sand, clear turquoise water, and so much space that it never felt crowded. Our villa was perfect for us as a family. Spacious, very private, beautifully designed, and super comfortable. The kids loved having their own little area and of course, the private pool was a huge hit. The beach was just steps away, so we were in and out of the water all day. What really made the stay stand out was the service. Everyone was incredibly kind—not just polite, but genuinely warm. Our butler was amazing and made sure everything was easy for us, from restaurant bookings to bikes for the kids. The kids’ club was also fantastic. I wasn’t sure how much time they’d want to spend there, but they actually asked to go back every day. The staff clearly enjoy what they do and really connect with the children. It gave us a chance to relax too—we had time to enjoy a spa treatment, some quiet meals, and even just sit by the ocean and breathe. The food was another highlight. Every meal was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented, but also relaxed—nothing felt too formal. There was a great variety, and the chefs were more than happy to accommodate anything our kids wanted. They even remembered our favorite dishes by the second day. Overall, it was a dream holiday. Beautiful setting, world-class service, and everything done in a way that felt effortless and personal. We made so many memories as a family and can’t wait to return someday.

The staff anticipate guests' wishes and strive to exceed their expectations in every way; we felt like part of the family. One story among many. We were the only ones on the beach, and the lifeguard walked up and down attentively, keeping an eye on us. I was in the water and saw my wife looking for something in the sand. Razeef noticed this and asked if he could help. We told him that the lens of my sunglasses had fallen out because the screw holding it in place had come loose. The screw was about 1 mm wide and 3 mm long, barely visible to the naked eye, and since the other one was still in place, we said we had lost it. But Razeef searched through the sand and within a minute or two, he smiled and showed us the screw. Within another minute, he screwed it back into my sunglasses with his fingernail, and I was able to use them again. He was happy and went back to watching the game!

What a beautiful place! It’s like you are in a painting! From the minute you step out the airport you will make memories to last forever. The staff are so helpful and friendly and will go beyond to make your holiday special. Once you arrive in the island you will see true beauty. Everything about the island is amazing, the beaches the sand the trees the food. Photos don’t do it justice. I thought my children might not enjoy it and get bored but I highly recommend to take them with you. They will love it. Plus the staff in kids only club will keep them entertained and wanting to go back the next day. Once again I can’t emphasise how good and friendly the staff are and they make the holiday even better! If you’re not sure whether you should book, just book it because you won’t regret it! The bank might get a hit but you will have memories for life and no regrets
