I’m writing on behalf of my brother bcz I recently heard the story of what happened regarding this hotel. My brother’s son, an active duty service member in the navy, got married Dec 2025. My brother gifted him and his new bride a night stay at the Westin Cape Coral the night of the wedding. He provided his Navy ID as well as his drivers license but was turned away since he was just shy of being 21. It was a mistake on my brother’s part for not realizing the rule but there was nothing mentioned in the email reservation sent to him. Renting a car it is always very clear in documentation that you need to be 25 so the trigger wasn’t there to alert my brother that checking in would be an issue. My brother asked for a refund or credit for a future stay when he would be 21 but was denied both. Upon hearing this, I emailed the hotel and asked that they consider comping a “ free”night since he leaves his Jacksonville base weekly to be with his new wife in Fort Myers and turned 21 in Jan. It is currently off season so I’m fairly certain there is plenty of occupancy. Rather than accommodating the request, the operations manager emailed back thanking him for his service but essentially the rules are the rules. Very disappointing as I have sent people to stay there when they are in town visiting my family. I will be looking for other options.

Stayed at this hotel probably during one of the quietest weeks of the year so the bar and restaurant did close earlier during the week which was a shame as it meant we didn’t eat or drink here in the evening as much as we would have liked. Not really got anything too negative to say about this hotel. The room view of the marina was incredible . We had a 2 bed suite on the 6th floor which was very spacious. Basically equipped but very clean modern and lots of storage space. The food in the restaurant was great. The staff can’t do enough for you. The way the hotel is run often reflects the skills of the Manager and in Omar they have a professional. All staff were fabulous from Cara and Omar on reception to Mark and Steven (who remembered our drinks and breakfast order each day ) in the restaurant (and everyone else we came across!) The cleaning staff work hard. The pool was peaceful with plenty of towels and chairs and a gym that had everything. Downtown Cape Coral with its many bars and restaurants is only 10 mins drive. Fort Myers with its beautiful beaches is a 20 min drive or the hotel provides a free return boat service to Fort Myers as part of your resort fees. Also included in your resort fee is a five nightly sunset dolphin tour which lasts around an hour and a half which we thoroughly enjoyed. Can’t wait to return

Our first stay and not our last . Sometimes you enter a hotel or establishment and the person who greets you makes you feel like you definitely picked the right spot. Omar is that person. He is that guy and deserves our praise. I’d tell him to keep it up but some people just have it. He is one of them. Thank you Omar !!

We stayed at the Westin Cape Coral at the end of June on a family vacation. Although the weather was extremely hot, we really enjoyed the resort, the marina area and thought the staff was very nice. We especially enjoyed the complementary dolphin cruise!

Hi Anna Marie, We stayed at the hotel the first week of May 2026. You were so wonderful to help us celebrate our Anniversary with a charcuterie board and champagne in our room. I wanted to thank you. We had a fantastic stay. I loved the boat ride to Fort Meyer's beach. We played tennis, and I treated myself to a massage. And every morning, Mark remembered what we liked for breakfast and had it ready. The grounds were neat and clean. Having 2 pools was fabulous. Thank you again for a wonderful vacation. Lovely hotel and great pool attached to next door property that you have access to (much better that the pool at the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms have been refurbished quite recently. Go high and views from both wings are nice. My only gripe was the resort fee and very poor internet - no way to get faster service and considering the report fee is USD40 plus tax it's unacceptable

This is a lovely resort with an abundance of on site amenities. The front desk staff was very helpful, courteous, & friendly. The valet staff always hustled quickly & efficiently to have our vehicle ready. Really a great team of gentlemen. Negative comments—we stayed four nights & our carpet and bathroom floor were never vacuumed/cleaned. Shampoo & shower soap dispensers were not refilled. I felt $40/day for parking was steep.

Could not find a place to review the Nauti Mermaid Restaurant. It had a nice bar and dining area outside which is where we sat. Son ordered the rare tuna sandwich which he said was way too spicy and I ordered the salmon which was so salty I had trouble with my throat and only ate a small portion. If they have an executive chef they need to get someone who can cook. The menu was small and not much to choose from. At least the drinks were good. I had to wait very long for a glass of ice. Will not be going back there again and I live near there. Very expensive for food that you can't eat. She should have given us more of a discount. It was nice looking at the boats etc.

We had an amazing Mothers’ Day Weekend. We were welcomed by Devin at the front desk who was phenomenal. She was friendly, kind, and gave us wonderful tips. She made a reservation for the included Dolphin cruise which was the highlight of our trip! We brought drinks with us and saw numerous dolphins and a beautiful sunset. We were upgraded to a suite which was really an apartment! It was huge with a full kitchen and amazing views of the Marina. The food at Nauti Mermaid was excellent. Our wonderful server Amelia gave as excellent recommendations. The grouper appetizer and fish tacos were our favorite. They play life music in the evening which makes for an even nicer dining experience. The pool is quite small and the hotel definitely feels more like an apartment building than a hotel but overall it’s a beautiful property on the perfect location with great food options. There are other restaurants within walking distance to the Westin that are phenomenal as well. Shout out to Angela who was our pool bar attendant. We didn’t get a chance to take the ferry to the beach but I wish we could have. The staff truly makes this place special and we will definitely be coming back!!

I stayed one night for business. The staff were wonderful from the front desk to the valet. I was able to check in hours early with no problem and the valet were efficient and kind. The pools were lovely and the additional rec center was a short walk/bike down the road. The room was clean and though on the older side, it was nice.

Die Suite mit 2 Schlafzimmern war groß und hatte tollen Blick auf das Wasser. Dank der Insektengitter konnten wir sehr gut auf dem Balkon Frühstücken und Abendessen. Delfin-Watching hat viel Spaß gemacht und war kostenlos! Zum Geburtstag gab es vom Haus ein tolles Stück Torte.

Hotel is tired and needs an urgent update

Beautiful resort on the south side of Cape Coral. As with most resorts, the grounds are well cared for and there are a lot of options for anyone staying here. In addition to shopping, a nice walking/bike trail through the property, and the pool., there is a large marina with big, beautiful boats, and a number of restaurants. It is very easy to get to and parking is a breeze in the main parking garage.

Absolutely loved our stay. The location was perfect and the views were beautiful. Anna Marie provided great customer service the moment we stepped foot on the property. She was the first point of contact for our stay and she "knocked it out of the park". The restaurants on site and nearby were amazing. We loved everything about our stay from the cleanliness of the entire hotel, to the value of our room, to the valets etc. We could not have asked for anything different.

We were originally planning on staying 2 nights but ended up staying 1 night due to the condition of the property.

The property needs to be renovated. The room wasn't clean and needs to be renovated.

The property does not live up to the Westin name. Rooms are extremely dated and in need of updating. The floor and carpets are old and need replacing. Bathroom is not clean. Given the price of rooms, it is overpriced and does not meet expectations. The facilities at the resort however are quite good, especially the wider grounds and sports complex. Good selection of restaurants nearby.

We stayed at the Westin one night prior to going to Marco Island. We had a 2 bedroom suite and it was fantastic. The room size was perfect. Beds were extremely comfortable. Bathroom was super clean. Entire property was clean. We went to the Recreation Center (pool) and it was awesome. We had apps and drinks at the Nauti Girl and the staff was very friendly. Very cool to see all the boats. Just returned from the Westin Cape Coral What a disappointment. The positives were check in, the guys at the Valet, & the Thursday pool bartender. were great. Our room was 1718. If I had been told that the balcony on the 17th floor in the rear of the hotel was complete shade I would not have accepted that room. The balcony was cold and dark. This is not a resort for couples who are looking for a quiet vacation to relax. This resort is filled with families of 30 something's and children, or grandparents with their adult children and their children... To address our room... Our pillows were old and lumpy, & the beds need to be replaced. The carpet was old, dirty and borderline sticky... We had to wear our shoes in the room. The one bed smelled like URINE UGH! Totally unacceptable. We were there for a total of three nights and by night two we were both covered in bug bites. We were told by others it was Noseeums. Before we checked out I inspected the beds and unfortunately found bugs, both alive and dead. We were totally freaked out. We are people that do not like to cause a scene or complain but in hindsight, we should have. I did try to discuss these issues discreetly to the General Manager Chris Carhill (SP?) before posting a review. No response. I left him a Vm with my call back # 2 of the 3 times. The woman who answered the phone was patient and kind however asked me to hold all 3 times. She asked what it was in reference to so he clearly knew I had issue and wanted to speak to him directly. Very unprofessional to say the least. I hope to find a person at Marriott Corporate.

My husband and I had seen this act 4-5 years ago in Illinois and we enjoyed it very much. This time around we were very disappointed. Although Bill Medley’s voice was impressively strong there was too much talk and banter between Medley and Heard and not enough singing. Only 4 songs of the evening were RB songs. The previous concert included more in the revue. Our expectations were high; the reality a letdown.

Beautiful location! Absolute nicest area in Cape Coral! Phenomenal waitstaff! Service was wonderful, food was great while we waited to start our Tiki Boat Tour! We will return again and again! BRAVO!

Sehr schöne beeindruckende Lage! Mückengitter am Balkon Sehr grosses Hotel mit Jachthafen in gepflegter privater Anlage Sehr freundliches Personal, viele Aktivitäten werden angeboten, die wir aber zeitlich nicht nutzen konnten. Fahrtzeit nach Downtown Fort Myers ca. 20 min.

From the minute you hit the property you relax. I was here to stay in the area for business and travel all over the state staying at Marriott’s. The service, the staff, the room was fantastic.

Secured property in nice, safe location. Waterfront. Restaurant and entertainment on site. Pretty good food, reasonably priced. Staff all polite and helpful. Fast elevators. Comfortable bed. Large closet area. Two bathroom prep areas. Large mirrored doors in outer bathroom area. Nice screened-in lanai area. Adequately stocked kitchen. Pretty quiet and soundproof late at night.

Housekeeping rang doorbell and woke us up first day at 9:30 a.m. and second day at 8:30 a.m. Bedroom TV stopped working first night. We watched living room tv for next two days. Told front desk on 3rd day and they had Maintenance fix it immediately. No robes. No garbage cans in bathroom areas except water closet. Very light water pressure in shower. Only three large towels and two wash cloths per day. Had a one-bedroom suite with a full kitchen but no dish cloths, dish towels, regular or dishwasher soaps. When we asked at front desk, it was sent up in a plastic bag and hanging on our outer door when we returned to hotel. Still no kitchen linens. Wanted to use pool, but as it was the holidays and hotel was pretty full, if you didn’t get to the area by about 8:30 a.m. each day there were no lounge chairs available. Told front desk staff when leaving, and they told us if we saw a towel on a chair for more than 20 minutes without an occupant, staff would have removed it and we could have used it. We were on 7th floor and pool noise during day was quite loud, even with sliding glass door shut. But to be expected. All in all, a good experience.

I was at the Westin for a week of the conference with meals included. Unfortunately, the food was not good. I had a kitchen in the room and was able prepare my own meals, but it was not the expected experience.

Ive stayed here before for work. If you want a quiet place off the beat and path with a few places to eat within walking distance it’s a good choice. Room are spacious and clean. My only gripe is I pre-paid for 2 nights with a total of $427 after all taxes and fees. They ran my card for a pre-authorization at check in for $349, then another one for $74 the first morning, and another the second morning. They ran my card for more money in pre-authorizations then my entire stay with taxes and fees. Very confusing and little Explanation from front desk. The front desk girl couldn’t make Sense of it…

Wonderful resort! Free sunset cruise to see the dolphins. Pool was amazing and relaxing. Rooms were quiet, roomy, and well appointed. I wouldn't advise the store, there are no prices on the items, food wasn't great.

Alexandra in the front is top notch. She explaons everything as it should be. Even try8ng to sell me on upgrade was great. Im in customer service and sale and shes got it. Had i beenstaying longer i would have upgraded.
