some staff in restaurant were a bit grumpy- Reception staff were fantastic
Schöne Lage und Außenanlage. Nett eingerichtete Zimmer, toller Pool.
We stayed here before and after our "Camino". If I could give this hotel and the team a higher score I would. Best example of real hospitality. From check-in, bar and restaurant service we could find no faults at all. Look forward to visiting again and again!
We were hiking the Camino and this was right along the trail. Beautiful facility with country-like feel. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds, super quiet. Breakfast in the morning was extra - but well worth it! Felt like we were staying in a palace and had our own little garden porch.

We were excited about staying in a parador but after arriving realized the room was so small and the beds pushed together when we needed them separate, we didn't feel luxurious as we had hoped it would. Nice breakfast.
Why show photos of a nice pool if it's going to be closed for much of the year? We were really looking forward to swimming but could not.
Breakfast was delicious . Beautiful view from dining room
No view and you could hear the neighboring occupants like they were in the same room with you.
Worth the splurge during our Camiño! Enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace :)
The pool is not open all year (they advertise the dates so just check that ahead of time if having a swim is important to you)

Comfortabele bedden. Vriendelijk personeel

Spacious, quiet rooms, lovely view of the river
It was surprising and disappointing to have no coffee or tea making facilities, even in the deluxe room, given that it is a 10-15 minute walk into town. These weren’t even available on request. Also a surprised that no water was provided either. This is below the standard of even the much cheaper properties we have been staying in on the Camino and would have really enhanced our stay.
Beautiful architecture and interiors. Fabulous breakfast.
Comfortable and clean rooms. We planned on leaving the hotel earlier than the breakfast time. The hotel provided us with a breakfast picnic with juices, sandwiches and fruits which was very welcome for our hike.
The restaurant didn't have vegetarian options.
Nettes Personal an der Rezeption.
Preis Leistung find ich nicht passend. Zu teuer für die Ausstattung. Frühstück sehr einfach gehalten
This place was great
Überteuert. Für den Preis erwartet man mehr.
Good hotel and breakfast, but an embarrassingly poor dinner experience We had a mixed stay at Parador de Tui. The hotel itself was pleasant, and the breakfast the next morning was genuinely good – fresh, well prepared, and exactly what you would expect from a Parador. Unfortunately, the dinner in their so‑called restaurant was a completely different story. The staff did not speak a single word of English and showed no willingness to explain the menu or help us understand the options. We were offered the “dish of the day”, only to discover that they had enough for just two people, even though we were four. The food that was available was far below the standard you would expect, especially considering the high prices. Overall, the experience felt careless and unprofessional, and the value for money was simply not there. A good hotel and a good breakfast, but the dinner service was so poor that it overshadowed the positive parts of the stay.
Breakfast disappointing. Cooked breakfast cold and had to look for service for a cooked breakfast. Overall expected more from Paradeso but receptionist was very helpful.
beautiful
pool wasn’t open
I loved the old feel of this hotel. Stone and wood and a carpeted staircase descending to the lobby. The room had lots of character and I enjoyed spending time in it between exploring Valença and Tui. The view from the hotel is beautiful.
I could hear quite a bit of noise from neighbouring rooms at times but not enough to affect my sleep because people seemed to go to bed early.
Sehr gute Betten, sehr ruhig, sehr gutes Frühstück

Excellent stay in the Camino, a bit more pricey but husband cane to see means this was a perfect location. Grounds are gorgeous and staff very friendly

Setting was beautiful
The hotel is in an impressive historic building on the outskirts of Tui in the direction of Valenca. Its location is picturesque, with views looking variously towards the river, Valenca and Tui cathedral. The staff were friendly and helpful. the room was very comfortable, the hotels was decorated with exquisite style and the food (dinner and breakfast) was delicious.
I can't think of anything I didn't like. The restaurant seemed a little under-staffed in the evening perhaps but those serving were helpful, courteous and hard-working.
The property and grounds are absolutely stunning! We had a short stay, as we were on the Camino, but we could have stayed much longer. The hotel is on the Camino, which was convenient, and restaurants and grocery stores are within a 10 minute walk.
Beautiful old hotel, spacious room with a private terrace outside the room. The food was delicious and well presented. The staff were very helpful.
Mooie omgeving, schoon, fijne bedden

Great location and an overall comfortable stay
Breakfast served at 8 is too late
This is a beautiful hotel located right on the Camino as you enter Tui. Our room overlooked a beautiful courtyard area. Comfortable beds, fluffy towels, quiet, and a wonderful breakfast is offered. Sttong shower with hot water. Liked the reading lights over the beds, and plenty of well-located outlets available. We also opted to have dinner at the hotel restaurant, and it was delicious. Would definitely stay here again.
Right on Camino facing the river and charming property. Staff at front desk was so welcoming. Room had the most comfortable beds and both of us agreed that we had the best sleep since we started our Camino walk from Porto. Room was airy, very nice big bathroom with bathtub, strong WiFi and good water pressure. We didn’t try the restaurant and didn’t book the breakfast because we want to start our walk early.
None.
Parador location and the not fully exploited facility potential
Only single bed offer and limited breakfast options
Recomendados 100%
Nada...todo fue perfecto!

Great view
Far from town
Our room had a beautiful view. It was generally quiet (but could hear tv loud in next room). The bathroom was spacious.
There were no English channels (hoping to catch up on the news).
There was no air conditioning which is what we wanted to get a good night sleep. We are doing the Camino we are very tired . They said the air conditioning was Brocken how silly is that .
The room is excellent. The room is big, very comfortable and room facilites are great. Restaurant is a plus. Service is wonderful.
The room is super over-priced (perhaps Christmas holiday). The bedroom is a connecting room and acoustic is so-so. I could hear next door conversation well. It will be good if kettle is offered in the room.
Nice room, good king size bed, staff was nice
The air outside was poluted, like if garbage was being incinerated. I had two nights booked and had to leave at the end of the first night and got no refund from Booking.
Clean, comfortable, quiet. Helpful staff.
Restaurant menu was limited and expensive for what you got
