L’accueil du personnel très impersonnel le 1er jour … pas souriant et sans prise en charge pour un hôtel de cette catégorie. Nous avons eu l’impression d’être juste un numéro de chambre. Aussi mauvais accueil de la terrasse du restaurant : on ne nous a pas autorisé à manger à l’extérieur ni fumer. Or les espagnols ont pu manger et fumer sans problème. Et puis on nous a héler pour donner notre numéro de chambre plutôt que de venir nous voir simplement et gentiment

Reviewed Jul 13, 2026Another fabulous Parador. Met our expectations on all fronts. Car park is located just across the road. Only one lift so you can wait at peak times. Room was huge with a lovely balcony with extra seating, clean and comfortable. Restaurant was fabulous for breakfast and dinner. Regional dishes are worth trying. Great value for money as we booked dinner inclusive. Will be back for sure!

Reviewed Jul 4, 2026We had a lovely, spacious room with an enclosed terrace with ocean and river views. The staff were friendly and professional, and the bar area and breakfast experience were very good. Free parking.
We didn’t get the opportunity to use the outside space as we were unlucky with the weather but it looked like more could be made of that. There is a not a lot going on in Ribadeo itself.

I would not accept room 212 as it looked oit into a small courtyard which made the room dark and dingy. I was advised if I wanted to upgrade to have windows looking out onto the estuary it would be an extra 30 euros which I agreed to but as I could only have for one night I would be cancelling my 2nd night which they agreed to. Not impressed.

Uncomfortable beds, location not central and from my perspective at well over 200 euros a night, the hotel was poor value for money. Apart from a cleaner, none of the staff members we encounted could crack a smile. Will not be going back.

Very very hard bed in our suite and noisy from the loading boats and workmen near by however very attractive large room The food presentation varied for the same meal on Tuesday the village sticks had a super finish as did the duck a standard we would have expected every night The all lady team on Wednesday evening need more training The normal breakfast staff were excellent especially the gentleman in charge Overall good staff with those with some English were delightful and helpful and friendly Thank you

Reviewed Jun 4, 2026We have stayed in several Paradores in Spain, love how the hotel group uses historical buildings, we appreciate the Parador model. This hotel has an excellent location, overlooking the harbour towards Asturias, the room was delightfully large, with a sofa and large table, a huge comfortable bed, an enormous bathroom, and a very large balcony where we relaxed at the end of the day drinking our cocktails. We thought we were in heaven. The evening dinner, and menu, was excellent. Probably the best restaurant in Ribadeo. We would definitely recommend this hotel.
We were slightly disappointed by the breakfast, admittedly we arrived shortly before 10:00, but the buffet selection was over- heated, felt like eating leftovers. We know in other Paradores that those arriving towards the end of the breakfast period are offered fresh food. And perhaps the dinner had been so good, we were surprised by the breakfast.

Reviewed May 24, 2026Wir wurden nett empfangen und es wurde von der Reception alles gut erklärt. Das Frühstück ist reichlich und sehr gut. Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht und das Essen war sehr fein. Wir konnten von der Karte die Vor- und Hauptspeise sowie den Dessert aussuchen. Der Parkplatz ist kostenlos.
Leider ist das Personal beim auftischen und Tisch abräumen sehr hektisch und das Geschirr kleppert nur so, was an so einem Ort nicht sein sollte. Schade, denn es geht auch anders. Wir hatten ein Standard Doppelzimmer gebucht, was im 2. Untergeschoss war. Unser Blick war jedoch nicht in den Garten sondern auf die Mauer gegenüber, für 1 Nacht okay, aber sicher nicht für länger.

Habitaciones en la planta -1 y -2 bajo tierra. Terrible ! No tiene gimnasio, ni piscina, ni spa. Mentalidad antigua en cuanto a la carta de bar / restaurante . A día de hoy no entiendo la diferencia. El cliente va a pagar lo mismo y elige donde lo quiere comerlo. No dan opción. El personal muy seco y poco amable. Ni lo recomendaré ni volveré .

La cafetería no estaba abierta hasta las 11, con lo que si no cogías la opción desayuno no podías tomarte nada . Es una pena que con las vistas tan bonitas y que el sitio era acogedor no se pudiera disfrutar del entorno
