Reviewed Aug 15, 2026Wat een tophotel, het was mijn wens om tijdens onze vakantie/rondreis Noord Spanje in een Parador te verblijven, gebouwen met een verhaal en meestal op een erg mooie locatie. Deze Parador was in de plaatsen die wij bezochten de enige met een zwembad dus hier moest het gebeuren. Dat is gelukt, hele mooie kamer met een balkon met uitzicht over de vlaktes, een douche/badkamer die je direct mee wilt nemen naar huis. Dubbele douche en een toilet met alle schoonmaakfunctie erin/erop. Wij hadden een kamer op de 3e verdieping, of de andere kamers ook zo mooi zijn dat weten we natuurlijk niet. Liep je de voordeur uit dan stond je gelijk in een prachtig stadspark en 250 mtr verder was je in de oude stad. Oke de stad zelf was niet bruisend maar voor de 2 dagen(nachten) zoals wij daar waren helemaal prima.

Sound insulation could be better, noise from other guests rooms was quite high. The afternoon bar staff on our first day were rather abrupt. (For the rest of our stay and different staff were very friendly).

Reviewed Jul 25, 2026Très bon séjour dans ce très beau parador. Chambre magnifique avec un balcon agréable et une des plus belles salles de bain que nous connaissons. Emplacement parfait au calme et à quelques centaines de mètres du centre ville et de très bons restaurants conseillés par une femme charmante à l'accueil du parador. Contrairement à ce qui nous avait été annoncé dans un mail après réservation, possibilité facile de se garer au pied du parador.

We were disappointed that the work on the garden prevented us from taking a nice walk through the gardens into the town. Had we known this we would have saved the stay at this parador for later when work was completed.

Unable to bring the car to reception when we arrived, and left- works to renovate the gardens and paved areas outside the parador were conducted in such a way as to block vehicles coming to reception. Poorly planned works, which should have taken into account the needs of the hotel and its clients.

Llevan por lo visto 2 años en obras la plaza de la entrada y el acceso es difícil, incómodo y no se advierte hasta la llegada.

No complimentary bottles of water in the room. Today it was 30 degrees plus. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. No tv in the room. On arrival for breakfast, I had to knock on the kitchen swing door to ask the waitress for for a cappuccino & a tea, 30 minutes later neither hadn’t arrived so gave up ! I paid €164 for one night, in my opinion the price is extortionate for lack of facilities & service

Be prepared to park down the hill while construction is underway. Just a minor inconvenience and the Parador communicated this well, so we knew ahead of time.

Reviewed May 18, 2026La ubicación es muy correcta, cerca del centro y con unas bonitas vistas. La torre del caracol es una maravilla y el resto de las instalaciones están muy bien. Habitación muy grande, con 2 camas de buen tamaño (un poco duras para mi gusto), gran armario y una terraza estupenda para descansar. El baño moderno, con ducha doble, lavabo doble y buena iluminación y secador. Tranquilidad total en la habitación. La limpieza estupenda. El personal es bastante agradable, con mención especial para cafetería/restaurante. El desayuno está bastante bien de calidad y es muy completo, aunque el precio es un pelín excesivo.
Me pareció bastante impropio de un parador que con temperaturas bajas para un mes de mayo, no existiese la posibilidad de utilizar el climatizador de aire caliente por la noche, simplemente para remontar un poco la temperatura. Resta bastante confort y no es una política acorde con el alojamiento ni los precios estar pasando frío en la habitación. También hubiese sido bastante útil saber que el parque que hay delante del parador estaba totalmente cerrado por unas obras, impidiendo los accesos peatonales desde el centro. La única forma de acceso era la rampa bastante empinada por la que suben los coches. Estas cosas hay que compartirlas, porque puede ser relevante para el cliente.

Pase muchísimo frío. Además llame a recepción para comentarlo y me dijeron que la calefacción no estaba disponible y literalmente me respondió el hombre de recepción “yo también tengo frío”. Me parece increíble que ocurra esto en un hotel de cuatro estrellas donde lo que quieres asegurarte es una estancia confortable, que desde luego no fue mi caso. Muy decepcionada.

Están de obras en la entrada y dificulta el acceso, pero nos llamaron para avisarnos y darnos una opción para facilitarnos la subida al hotel.
