Se anuncian con parking gratuito en las instalaciones pero es imposible que dado el numero de habitaciones y en temporada alta, no esté lleno cuando llegas, máximo de 15 plazas aproximadamente incluyendo las de recarga de vehículos electricos. Encontramos parking gratuito a 5 minutos en la calle.

Lo malo es que cualquier extra es carísimo, pero el hotel en sí no lo es; por el señorío, el servicio, las habitaciones, la comodidad, el aparcamiento en el mismo hotel sin coste. Encantados de haberlo disfrutado aunque solo haya sido un día.

Reviewed Aug 30, 2026Everything was okay, but the whole place needs updating as the hotel is really showing its age. Staff were very nice and worked hard to try to provide good service. The hotel is located in the center of town and provides free parking.
Restaurant food and service were underwhelming, and the staff, even though trying their best, seemed overwhelmed (they were covering the bar as well). Overall the hotel didn't seem able to meet typical Parador standards. Investment needed in facilities and staffing levels.

How wrong we were, the Reception staff could not have been any more helpful providing maps and english version copies of events happening during our stay. Our room was large and very comfortable with a huge bathroom and tea and coffee facilities in the room. Evening meal and breakfast were of a good quality and the staff very helpful. Contrary to other reviews at breakfast there was an assortment of fruit juices, yoghurt and cereals plus cold meat and cheeses and pastries. You could order fried, eggs, bacon, omelette and churros fresh. Parking was not an issue and there were spaces available until early evening. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Reviewed Aug 19, 2026Beautiful hotel, in the centre of Calahorra. Restaurants , shops and tapas/pinxtos bars minutes walk away. Parking in secure car park which is like gold dust in historic town centres. The hotel is in a beautiful 1920s building and the character has been preserved. It is spotlessly clean, the building and furnishings are superb quality, very comfortable,spacious rooms, lovely bar and restaurant, excellent breakfast. The staff are friendly and helpful. Fantastic value. If this is the standard for paradors in Spain I will definitely be trying more of them.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026The room was nice and spacious, very clean, and comfortable. It was well-equiped (such as separate dispensers for shampoo, shower gel, and conditioner; and a good hairdryer). The bed was comfortable, although the mattress bit firm for me (but I'm very light). The staff was generally very kind and helpful (though it depended a bit on which one).
The city had blocked off all the streets, with one tiny exception to reach the hotel. Now this isn't the hotel's fault and it was only done on the day of my arrival, but the hotel did not let me know. It was very hard to reach the parking lot. After driving in circles for half an hour trying to find an entrance, I ended up parking elsewhere, walked to the hotel to ask how to reach it. But they couldn't even tell me; they didn't know. So I had to explore further on foot to find a small note from the municipality on one small sidestreet with the exception… It was a real pain, and I'm surprised the hotel staff couldn't help me reach it. The second thing was that the breakfast was very understaffed. Usually there were two people, one who was very chill and the other very rushed and scatterbrained. They still tried to be helpful though. Most of the time there was no boiling water to grab tea. I ordered scrambled eggs on one occasion, but it was simply forgotten about and I never received it. The breakfast otherwise was nice though.

El control del clima no me gusto demasiado, cuando se enciende el aire acondicionado hace demasiado ruido. Y la televison es un poco pequeña para una habitacion de ese tamaño. El restaurante es un poco caro, se que es un parador, pero es que la comida es un poco escasa.

Dinner at the Parador de Calahorra restaurant was truly amazing, with an excellent selection of starters and main courses which, although typically Spanish, were cooked and presented with gastronomic flair and originality. Could easily have been listed in the Michelin Guide. The breakfast in the morning was, as you might expect given the dinner the night before, also exceptional, with a huge range of fruits, hams, etc, plus a excellent omelette cooked to order in the morning,

Reviewed Jul 16, 2026This Parador doesn't look like or feel like a Parador. More like a chain hotel. Rooms are quite dark with small windows. Calahorra is quite a depressing town to walk around. Breakfast cereals were very limited. Kelloggs Cocopops, Frosties or Bran. No cornflakes, Special K, Country Store, Oats or Weetabix. Very poor compared to other Paradors that we have stayed in. Dinner was good with lovely service from the waitresses particularly Ramina who was an absolute delight. Reception staff were very good too. Car parking is limited on a first come first served basis. If it is full you have to find alternative parking that isn't free of charge close by but free if you go further out.

Se escuchaban otra habitaciones superiores por el suelo de madera. Entraba algo de luz sería necesario poder fijar las cortinas.

pedí como sugerencia que no me pusieran junto al ascensor y aunque el hotel no estaba lleno nos dieron justo una habitación continua, el ruido fue insoportable. Los paradores suelen tener una decoración más sofisticada, sin embargo este no tiene bien gusto, el entorno donde se encuentra no es resaltable

Reviewed Jun 10, 2026Buena atención por parte del personal de recepción y desayuno. La habitación amplia, limpia y cama y almohadas muy bien y sábanas muy blancas
El suelo cruje demasiado y la puerta del armario y mampara de bañera necesita engrasar pq hace mucho ruido al abrir. Supongo que es cuestión de mantenimiento. El aire acondicionado tb se oye bastante.

Reviewed Jun 7, 2026Great location to explore the city. Good parking, we left our motorbikes for two nights, no issues. Really nice pedestrian areas, bars, cafes.
It's noisy. You can here voices, doors, feet, running water in rooms around you. Outside, no one seems to sleep. Not a show stopper, just something to be aware of.

Reviewed Jun 5, 2026Excellent emplacement...mais accès difficile à trouver cause travaux ... Repas bien malgré de nombreuses lacunes sur le menu !!! Plusieurs plats proposés toujours indisponibles !! Service assez long car manque flagrant de personnel !
1/ L'insonorisation des chambres n'est pas au top ... 2/ Aucune fiche d'instruction dans la chambre pour la télé, ni pour la clim' ! Obligé de redescendre à la réception deux fois pour se faire expliquer le maniement ! Inconcevable pour un Parador !

Le manque de précision de la part du serveur du restaurant. Peu clair sur les plats auxquels nous avions droits pour la demi pension. Résultat, un supplément sur la facture du restaurant que nous avons refusé de payer. Devant notre mécontentement, le personnel de l'accueil a annulé ce supplément. Mais il reste une sensation désagréable!

Harían falta algunas reformas en las habitaciones, por ejemplo en los marcos de las puertas. No estaría mal que tuvieran una cafetera.

Reviewed Apr 25, 2026La tranquilidad del lugar, pudimos aparcar en el aparcamiento gratuito, y desde allí se paseaba muy bien por la ciudad. Está prácticamente en el centro.
El bote de acondicionador del pelo estaba vacío. Por lo demás muy bien.
