Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Lovely setting and excellent breakfast. Comfy bed and pillows. Good parking close to accommodation.
Needed two good sized mugs and a kettle in the room for tea making. We had our dog with us so probably were in the dog friendly room but the bathroom had a very strong smell of urine which was very unpleasant and I had to spray perfume in there whenever we used it. We have not experienced this in other dog friendly rooms that we stayed in. I think the bathroom tiles need a good bleaching.

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026We love the Manoir. This is our second time staying there. The food is amazing. A big shout out to the chef! The girl that served us in the restaurant every evening was so lovely. She was always smiling even when she was run off her feet and had a special effort to come and chat to us about our day. She has excellent english too, added bonus. The breakfast is good, it had everything that you would want for a french breakfast. The Manoir is located in a very quiet area, away from everything, which is exactly how we like it. There are lots of lovely places to visit around, but they are a drive away. We spent most of our days sitting out on our terrace enjoying the quiet and the fabulous views of the gorgeous countryside.
I can honestly say there is very little we didn't like. If you are looking for a quiet out of the way place, like we were, it is perfect. Others may think that it is a bit too quiet though and a bit far away from anything. In saying that, there are some fantastic beaches which are only a 10 minute drive away.

Reviewed Aug 10, 2026Beautiful atmosphere: A truly stunning location with a charming atmosphere and breathtaking hydrangea gardens. Great location: Conveniently located just a short distance from the picturesque town of Locronan. Free parking: Convenient, free on-site parking available right on the premises. Room: The room ("L'Orangerie") had new furniture.
However, there were a few noticeable drawbacks. The room lacked basic seating like a chair or an armchair. The biggest issue was the absence of window and door screens—right upon arrival, there were many spiders and mosquitoes on the ceiling in both the room and the bathroom. The floor also needed a more thorough vacuuming and mopping. Additionally, the bathroom requires maintenance, as the grouting and silicone sealants in the shower are badly discolored and need replacing. Lastly, the breakfast was rather below average. It is a pity, as the property itself is magnificent, but the details and cleanliness need improvement.

Reviewed Aug 7, 2026Le cadre, l'attention du personnel, les petits-déjeuners (en supplément). L'endroit est intéressant pour faire des excursions à peu près partout dans le Finistère, à condition de rouler un peu.
Les chambres "orangerie" sont de standard ***, sans plus. Certains détails concernant la propreté devraient être améliorés (surtout à la salle de bains). Le logement était un peu cher par rapport à la chambre, mais le site est remarquable et la vue aussi, cela se paie.

Excellent petit dej et service plus : la lessive en option très pratique lorsque l’on fait étape en poursuivant un roadtrip familial
Équipements et chambres un peu anciennes même si cela fait le job. Les sanitaires mériteraient un rajeunissement

Das Zimmer war leider nicht sehr sauber, es gab Haare im Bad und an der Kaffemaschine, die Tassen waren bei unserer Ankunft bereits benutzt und in mehreren Ecken gab es Spinnen und Spinnweben. Ausserdem rochen, nach dem Wädcheservice, die Kleider nach Rauch.

Das Ambiente des alten Herrenhauses und das gesamte Gelände ist wunderbar von vielen Hortensien eingeräumt. Das Menü im Restaurant ist von gehobener Küche, sehr fein und lecker.

Nous avons été déçus par le diner que nous avons pris. L'œuf parfait, trop cuit, se mariait très mal ( à notre goût) aux crustacés qui l'accompagnaient. Le lieu jaune était dur et très très peu de légumes l'accompagnait. Le dessert était bon.

Schimmel in der Dusche, könnte durch Schimmelbehandlungsspray beseitigt werden.

L'absence de produits type shampoing, qui reste surprenant dans ce type de détails. Mais il ne s'agit que d'un détail quand nous avons parfaitement goûté notre séjour au point de vouloir revenir dès que possible.

La première personne à l'accueil lors de notre arrivée, limite agréable. Tout de suite, la 1ere question, "est ce que vous mangez là ce soir sinon je donne votre table à quelqu'un d'autre".

Das Zimmer war nicht sauber, im Bett und am Boden Haare und Schmutz, die Lampe über dem Bett voller Spinnfäden. Auf meine Reklamation hin sagte die Receptionistin nur: "Ich sage es der Reinigungskraft." BEI Frühstückbuffet krabbelte eine Assel im Fruchtsalat herum. Als Erklärung dienten die "alten Mauern", aber erst als ich es bemerkte wurde der Salat ausgetauscht und abgedeckt. Zimmer mit Badewanne, aber ohne Badseife. Das ganze Personal war freundlich, aber unorofessionell. Bei dem stolzen Zimmerpreis erwarte ich entsprechene Qualität und Professionalität.

Furthermore, there was a constant smell of horse manure in the air. The rooms were very poorly decorated; they looked very stylish in the pictures. They said there was a fireplace in the restaurant, but when we went, there wasn't even a fire, just a huge table in front of it, we couldn't do anything. The whole hotel was freezing cold. They set up the breakfast area in a cellar-like space; thankfully, they allowed us to have breakfast outside! My expectations were very high, but this place was awful!

Décoration totalement inappropriée, mobilier de mauvais goût et usé. Salle de bains sombre et petite. Hygiène très limite. La chambre aurait besoin d'un grand nettoyage intégral. Douche sale, écoulement très sale, brosse wc dans un état inadmissible. Etc etc. Sous le lit ...sale on se demande depuis qd date le dernier ménage. Pas insonorisé. Wifi très médiocre. BIEN TROP CHER . Vous payez cher le cadre. Le petit déjeuner devrait être inclus au mini....

Au restaurant de l’hôtel, nous avons apprécié la beauté de la grande salle, la cheminée majestueuse, mais la fraîcheur des lieux était plutôt inconfortable. Quant au repas, bien que tout à fait goûteux, nous avons trouvé que les assiettes étaient trop peu garnies.

Reviewed Oct 18, 2025Die Geschichte des Wiederaufbaus des Herrenhauses ist sehr beeindruckend und die Anlage hat grossen Charme. Es ist sehr ruhig. Und nur 3 km bis Locronan.
Die Zimmer in der Orangerie sind sehr wenig eingerichtet, es fehlt eine gemütliche Beleuchtung und Leseleuchten am Bett. Trocknen kann man leider gar nichts und die Heizung ging leider nicht - trotz nur 15 ° C Außentemperatur über 3 Tage. Das angebotene Abendessen im Kaminsaal hat niemand wahrgenommen, es war etwas einsam. Wir sind dann nach Locronan zum Abendessen gefahren.

le manoir ferme le 30 septembre et comme nous étions la a la toute fin il n'y avait plus rien a mangé au resto. belle carte des vins mais il en manquait plusieurs, aucun bordeaux ???en france pourtant. tres beau menu mais il ne restait qu'un seul choix, nous avons mangé les reste, les derniers morceaux ect ect iln'y avait meme plus de bois pour faire un feu dans le superbe foyer. je pense qu'ils doivent maintenir les standard jusqu'a la fin

Reviewed Oct 1, 2025We arrived and were shown our room and were given all the info we needed to get settled very quickly. We had an excellent dinner at a reasonable price and a good very quiet nights sleep. The hotel is set all alone in beautiful but remote countryside. Breakfast was in a devoted room at the rear of the restaurant in the main building and most of the rooms are scattered around the grounds in very nicely done up barns etc. This hotel is worth a visit and we will revisit soon.
