Fantastic boutique hotel. Amazing views, wonderful pool, sumptuous breakfast and very friendly staff. Room was very comfortable and bathroom was spacious. Will definitely return on next visit to Provence!

Hotel is very close to Rousillon, one of the most beautiful villages in France.

What a lovely and very special place Hotel La Cle des Champs is ! It’s truly a gem. It was our first time visiting the Luberon Valley, and though each day was packed with new places to visit, and fabulous sites to see - we truly envied the guests that chose to linger and relax at this charmingly beautiful spot. Armelle and Renee have made every detail special and the property is superb. We can’t wait to return!

A aucun moment je ne me suis exprimé aussi négativement pourtant nous voyageons souvent le statut hôtel.com pourrait l attester mais la c est hors normes outre le tarif largement au dessus de celui pratiqué pour ce type d hôtel mais que nous avons accepté près de 290 euros la nuit avec petit dej pour un 3etoiles ,les prestations et le comportement des responsables est révoltant on nous propose un grand lit et nous nous retrouvons avec deux lits une place rapprochés ,l accès à la piscine n est autorisé que de 8h30 à 19h30 alors qu en plein été la nuit tombe à 22h et qu on pourrait profiter de celle ci à la fraîcheur ,pas de restauration le week end nous sommes à 3km du plus proche village et quand nous grignotons au bord de la piscine la propriétaire vient nous demander de quitter l hôtel aussitôt sans nous avoir indiqué qu il était interdit d amener quelque nourriture que ce soit sur la terrasse,ce que nous refusons bien entendu chambre déjà payée ,le comportement est purement inqualifiable et sa mise sur le site devrait certainement etre réétudiée .Au futurs clients potentiels bon courage

We really enjoyed our stay. Hotel had all we were expecting Armelle and René did everything to make us feel comfortable and relaxed.

Tout avait l'air parfait, jusqu'au moment de notre départ, ma femme étant malade ce matin là, nous n'avons pris qu'un déjeuner à la place des deux commandés lors de notre réservation. Nous avons malgré tout payé les deux petit déjeuner. Cela n'a pas été bien grave, sauf que nous pensions revenir pour un petit séjour prochain et ce ne sera pas le cas...dommage.

Séjour à la hauteur de nos attentes. Farniente au calme face aux ocres du Roussillon entrecoupé de ploufs dans la piscine. Au calme dans la nature et à deux pas des sites touristiques. De belles chambres avec terrasse privative. Un petit déjeuner copieux, des hôtes accueillants avec de bons conseils comme le resto le piquebaure. On recommande ! Merci à vous deux et à une prochaine fois.

What did we like? Everything. The setting is wonderful, the facilities excellent and the service outstanding. We were fortunate to be there on a night the owners cooked and it was fantastic. If they are cooking on a night yu stay, definitely take advantage of it.

The Hotel is quite isolated although a good location as a base to tour by car. We as a couple stayed 3 nights although two would have been sufficient to check out local villages. By default ended driving a lot more than planned to visit the area. So just buying water is not easy to find a shop anywhere. No fridge in the standard room which we booked so no option to just buy and cool some water. Asked the hotel if they could accommodate perhaps chilling some water for us answer was no. If you upgrade to a superior room you get a fridge apparently. Arrived at hotel after a long drive 1.30pm to check in. Official checkin was 3pm. Requested if we could just sit by the pool? Answer was no as being cleaned apparently. Didn't want to sit in it just sit on a lounger and chill until the room was ready. Felt owners weren’t bothered about accommodating our request. Day two breakfast time, arrived at the table 10.10 requested breakfast for two Answer finished. I had to remind they advertised until 10.30 reluctantly agreed to allow us breakfast. Don't want to sound too negative here but there were a few more issues, but do not expect welcoming customer service. Just let me say if you like rules and less welcoming customer service this place is for you!

Très belle propriété mais .........beaucoup de mais!!! À savoir : ils n'acceptent pas les enfants ce que je ne savais pas à mon arrivée avec mon fils ...... et ce qui est bien-sûr illégal : article 225-1 et 225-4 du code pénal.........l'accueil a été très froid , limite désagréable. Ils se prennent pour un 5 étoiles alors qu'ils n'en ont que 3 et encore ça les vaut limite.

WHAT A VIEW!! The rooms are a little dated but in a very charming way. Everything is clean and all amenities are provided, including a hair dryer. The terrace and pool are large, inviting and well maintained, The view from the terrace is hard to beat. The traditional breakfast is fresh and tasty and getting to dine on the terrace while looking across the valley to Roussillon is a real treat. They do serve dinner for for an additional fee but our plans didn't allow for us to take advantage of it, but I wish they had. It smelled delicious. Our only complaint is that we didn't plan a long enough stay to take advantage of the gorgeous and tranquil setting. We were touring too much and did not enjoy this ideal place to relax like we should have.

Fantastic stay! Most friendly hosts always happy to help and doing everything they can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Very nice and quiet rooms in a traditional house from Provence refurbished with very good taste. Delicious breakfast and dinner. Outdoor heated pool, steam bath and jacuzzi are super nice. The location is fantastic as it’s in the middle of the nature and well located if you want to visit Lubéron (a car is required).

This hotel was magical! The setting is serene and beautiful, with unbelievable views of Rousillon. It’s quiet and luxurious and with 9 rooms, making it very intimate and cozy. The owners are adorable and you can tell they take pride in every detail of the hotel. The dinner that the woman who owns the hotel made was amazing! The food was next level delicious, and it’s one of the best meals we’ve had in France. The rooms are beautiful with their own outdoor patio too. I’d highly recommend this hotel for a unique hideaway still close to sights and action but nestled I’m a quiet and breathtakingly beautiful location.

This absolutely beautiful Hotel has amazing views of Roussillon and its countryside. Our suite, and well, the whole property is so tastefully appointed. Rene and his wife offer their guests excellent service and always with a smile. Delicious, beautifully prepared & presented meals in a stunningly beautiful natural environment.

Fantastique expérience. L’hôtel est cosy, propre, bien tenu et très confortable. L’hôtel est un peu en retrait du village de Roussillon, ce qui permet à la fois de déconnecter ( vue superbe sur les lavandes et le Luberon et chant des cigales) mais aussi de rejoindre les sites d’intérêt du Luberon rapidement en voiture. La cuisine (petit déjeuner et repas du soir composés de produits locaux de première fraîcheur) est un délice et les propriétaires de l’hôtel sont vraiment très accueillants et sympathiques ( accueil personnalisé favorisé par la petite taille de l’établissement). Nous sommes restés deux nuits seulement car nous avions organisé nos vacances sous forme de circuit en Provence mais avons regretté de ne pas avoir réservé pour une plus longue durée. Merci à René et Armelle ! Nous reviendrons !

Un endroit où la quiétude est de Mise avec un excellent service et une prestation à la hauteur d’un Très bon établissement . Il ne manque rien et l’endroit est un havre de paix. Nous reviendrons les propriétaires sont présents avec beaucoup de discrétion . Chambre parfaite avec une bonne literie . Une végétation et un jardin très bien structuré avec des parcelles de lavande qui apporte la senteur du pays . Excellent accueil et très bon conseil sur les adresses des restaurants voisins. Recommandation sans aucune réserve .

durante el mes de junio de 2018 viajamos con mi esposa y nuestra estadía en el hotel fue maravillosa. El hotel es un verdadero hotel boutique. Las instalaciones super cuidadasl y la decoración en todas las áreas es muy bonita. La ubicación del hotel es espectacular, en una colina con vistas a los campos y al pueblo de Roussillon. La limpieza en general es ejemplar, y los dueños tiene un especial cuidado con la zona de la piscina y spa (los cuales , obviamente, tienen unas vistas increibles...) El desayuno vale lo que cuesta, los alimentos son caseros y regionales...recomendado! El hotel ofrece cena en dias seleccionados; es preparada personalmente por los dueños...lamentablemente no pudimos probarla pero el menú y su olorcito eran irresistibles. Bueno...yo dejo para el final lo mas importante, por lo menos para lo que nosotros valoramos especialmente...los dueños, que atienden personalmente a los huéspedes y se encargan de todos los detalles, son personas muy amables y nos hicieron sentir muy a gusto y como en nuestro hogar...un cariño muy grande para Armelle y René, dos personas maravillosas! Esperamos poder volver a verlos nuevamente en un corto tiempo!

What a great time we enjoyed here! It is across the valley from Roussillon, which makes for a lovely view all day long, and the hosts are so friendly and helpful. Great location for exploring Provence as well. So relaxing and beautiful! Would return in a heartbeat if we could!

From start to finish our 4 nights were wonderful. The hosts were friendly and helpful. we dined twice and had the pleasure of eating Arielle’s delicious food. The property was beautifully maintained and the views were gorgeous. We were very very sad to leave and hope to return.

Wonderful hotel! Peaceful. Relaxed. Everything you could want

Lovely quiet,small hotel set in beautiful surroundings. The owners are very nice, helpful and friendly. The food is delicious and you should eat at the hotel on the evenings they are doing food. Armelle is a great chef. Despite the fact it is a set menu they were very accommodating catering for my partner who is vegetarian. We stayed in Room 8 which is the only first floor room but you get great views of Roussillion and a very large private balcony complete with loungers and picnic table.

3.5 kms from Roussillion and very close to Gordes. Excellent pool area. Great dining. Very quiet and romantic.

We enjoyed our stay. The property is very nice. It is a ways out of town and remote from stores and restaurants. Breakfast is OK but not worth the fee charged compared to other places we stayed in France.

Outstanding service, great location and rooms that provide a fantastic view of Roussillon. The restaurant provides a very good dinner. There are additional restaurants not too far away. The spa facilities are very inviting.

The food was great, the staff better and we enjoyed the convenience of the hotel for the things we wanted to. Just great!

If you want a relaxing stay in Provence's countryside, but still be near to several sightseeing locations, this is it! Hotel La Cle de Champs is a small hotel, right between the STUNNING hilltop villages of Roussilon and Gordes. It could not have a more relaxing atmosphere. The views from the fabulous pool overlook the most gorgeous setting of rolling hills, fields of lavender and mountains in the distance. We stayed two nights with our toddler and had plenty of room. Just wish we would have had longer! Also, do book to have dinner at the hotel at least once. It is superb and the outdoor seating has the most wonderful backdrop!

We had a very enjoyable stay here. The room was pleasant and clean, the staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendly, and the breakfasts were delicious. Overall, an excellent place to stay.

Very nice family running this place!! Good value and comfortable. Great location and view of Roussillon. Loved the little patio. Very clean and well run. They thought of little things for us that made us feel so cared about and welcome!!
