The town of Lerma celebrates the Patron Saint Festival between the 30 August and the 9 September, with music and attractions until the early hours. For this reason, the Parador cannot guarantee the peace and quiet that it would usually hope to offer.
During the festivities, the Plaza Mayor and Plaza de San Blas will be closed off to parking. You will be able to park at the rear of the hotel or in the hotel garage, with an additional cost.
Please note that drinks are not included in the Half Board and Full Board rates.

También en la zona de desayuno. Muy atentos incluso recordando necesidades de personal de un día a otro. Como mi intolerancia a la lactosa.
El somiere, aunque cada espalda es un mundo, porque a mi pareja no le paso nada y durmió genial, para mi espalda estaba duro y me levanté con un poco de dolor de espalda. Pero tenía voltadol y santo remedio. No tengo nada que reprochar. ☺️

Reviewed Sep 19, 2026Bâtiment historique exceptionnel mais le confort moderne est présent. Le personnel à l’accueil était très aimable et nous a conseillé les sites à ne pas manquer. Chambre et salle de bains très vastes avec beaucoup de rangement. On se gare sans problème sur la place devant l’hôtel.
Dommage, nous n’avons pas apprécié le restaurant. Embouteillages fréquents au petit déjeuner !

Reviewed Sep 19, 2026Wunderschöner Parador mit exquisitem Restaurant und gemütlicher Innenhofbar: ein ehemaliger Herzogspalast mit viel Atmosphäre, geräumigen Zimmern und allem, was es für einen komfortablen Aufenthalt braucht. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Frühstück ausgezeichnet. Neben etlichen Sehenswürdigkeiten, die alle fußläufig zu erreichen sind, bietet Lerma auch schöne Spazier- und Wanderwege.

We had a superior double room with far reaching views on two sides of the building. The room was very spacious and lovely air conditioning
We had a meal in the hotel restaurant, which was ok, but was a little on the pricey side for what it was. I enjoyed my meal in their bar/cafe more

Wir hatten ein Zimmer im obersten Dachgeschoss. Aussicht schön, aber das Fenster war nur eine hohe Gaube, so dass das Zimmer etwas von einer Zelle hatte. Die Toilettenspülung war so laut, dass man nachts jeden aus dem Bett gerissen hat. Die Bedienung auf der Terrasse hatte wohl schlechte Laune, und ich musste immer hinterherlaufen, um etwas zu bestellen oder den Tisch von den Resten der Vorgänger abgeräumt zu bekommen. Die Laune verbesserte sich bis zum Ende nicht und das grenzte schon an Unhöflichkeit. Beim Frühstück gab es nur zwei Mitarbeiter, die völlig überfordert waren, von einer nicht funktionierenden Kaffeemaschine, für diese ziemlich lange gebraucht haben, um sie endlich wieder zum Laufen zu bekommen. Da sie viele Dinge gleichzeitig machen mussten, haben sie vor lauter Eile so laut mit dem Geschirr geklappert, dass die Gemütlichkeit weg war. Und auch ihnen musste man hinterherlaufen, um eine Bestellung aufzugeben. Das sollte bei einem Hotel dieser Kategorie nicht passieren. Schade.

Reviewed Sep 12, 2026We really enjoyed our stay here - this Parador is in a very interesting building, and there are some beautiful antiques in the communal area downstairs. Our bedroom was huge - a corner room, with really comfortable beds and a big bathroom. All the staff were really helpful. We love the Parador breakfast and we chose a table with a view of the surrounding countryside. Lerma is a small medieval town and we enjoyed walking around it. We used the garage but I believe that it is possible to leave your car in the area around the hotel. We will definitely stay again.
While we were there (early September) there was a local fiesta, with music and typical Spanish events during the night. The hotel provided earplugs and eye mask, which we did not use, and we slept fine, but some people could hear the noise. For us it was interesting to see the fiesta, but if you are concerned about sleep and you are staring at fiesta time you should check with the hotel before your stay.

Reviewed Sep 6, 2026The reception staff were great and the accommodation itself is really wonderful. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. The AC was wiring well. I would definitely recommend.
We only ate in the lounge area which is beautiful. The service was not the fastest but that’s ok. The waiters were studiously surly, almost doing it on purpose to avoid any cheerfulness. It did not impede on our enjoyment but it was a bit unsettling to be greeted with such lack of warmth

Quiet. Room floor cleanness needs improvement. Room size is 'Palacio Size'. Staff is uneventful. WiFi comes on and off. Ck-in/out was easy. Shower was a beauty. Nice fridge.

La habitación era muy oscura. Pedí cama de matrimonio y eran dos camas, y una de ellas tenía las sábanas rotas. Lo peor fue que eran las fiestas del pueblo justo donde el Parador, y creo que lo mínimo es avisar, nuestra habitación era la esquina justo donde estaba la música y aunque está muy bien aislado, se escuchó hasta las 4am

Het personeel bij het ontbijt was echt schandalig. Ze spraken niets anders dan Spaans en wilde geen moeite doen om ons te begrijpen. Bij onze pogingen om in gebrekkig spaans te comuniceren werden we uitgelachen. Het personeel voelde zich blijkbaar te goed voor ons en keek op ons neer. Dit hebben we nog nergens anders ooit zo meegemaakt.

La habitación algo abuardillada en la 4° planta con una ventana pequeña. En Julio la misma situación en el parador de la Granja de San Ildefonso y me pregunto: ¿es una penalidad por contratar con Booking?. A la hora de contratar indican habitación estándar y entiendo estándar como normal no como la de peor situación.

Reviewed Aug 22, 2026Un de nos pneus a éclaté un dimanche dans les Bardenas sur une route non goudronnée. Nous avons changé la roue sur place puis atteint le Parador de Lerma (étape prévue) à petite vitesse. Grande compétence du personnel d'accueil du Parador qui nous a indiqué le marchand de pneus le plus proche (3 km) et a téléphoné pour nous annoncer. Le lundi matin, le pneu a pu être changé rapidement et notre voyage n'a pas été bouleversé. Le patio du Parador de Lerma est une merveille. On peut se garer facilement devant le Parador.

The reception desk staff seemed overstretched and tired. Breakfast was extra and seemed unnecessarily expensive so we opted not to eat there.

The best is the crew and above all, Javier. he was in the reception when we came for one night. he offered to upgrade us to the suite for 30 euros. he showed us the suite and we immediately decided to stay 2 nights it was perfect. very big and beautiful view. And then he gave us perfect recommendations for trips in the area. We did everything he said and all was perfect. I wish I could stay another week. Breakfast also was very good with many options also for vegans, which I am. really one of the best hotel experiences I ever had. Highly recommended.
The restaurant. I wanted something small for late dinner. They had practicly nothing vegan. They made me some potatoes with mushrooms. I appreciate the effort but the result was not good.

Reviewed Aug 2, 2026prachtig gebouw, goede gekoeld ondanks hitte buiten. goed service, fantastisch uitzicht: de parador ligt bovenop de berg waarop Lerma gebouwd is. gratis parkeren in de buurt.
Alleen van belang als je spullen in de auto hebt: De garage (ca 15 euro per nacht) wordt in de zomer erg warm en koelt 's nachts niet af. de kamers die aan het plein gelegen zijn, blijven lang warm omdat ze in de zon liggen (op het westen). Geluidsisolatie naar het plein is goed, maar festivals zul je zeker horen. Restaurant was tot 21 uur gesloten toen wij er waren, maar cafetaria biedt dan wel eenvoudiger eten.

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026Imponente palacio del siglo XVII, de estilo herreriano, perfectamente restaurado y adaptado como hotel. Extraordinario patio interior utilizado como salón de la cafetería. Lerma es nudo de comunicaciones y buena referencia para visitar centros del entorno de Burgos, pero es necesario vehículo propio. El precio en el rango habitual de Paradores de nivel medio-alto.

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026El edificio es increíble, el enclave es inmejorable. El claustro central del parador es de por sí una joya que merece la pena visitar. La restauración que hicieron del edificio es magnífica: te hace sentir que te encuentras en un verdadero palacio.
Por poner una pega, es cierto que los aseos están un poco anticuados, al menos el de nuestra habitación.

Que nos dieran una habitación en la 4 planta, en el ático , y tuviera escaleras sin comunicarlo. Yo no tenía bien la pierna, y mal andar con escaleras.

Colazione completa e abbondante. Personale molto gentile e professionale. Ottima la pulizia della camera e degli spazi comuni.
Il primo giorno abbiamo mangiato al ristorante del Parador, si suppone un ristorante di alta categoria. Purtroppo è stata una delusione. Non erano assolutamente preparati a proporre dei piatti vegani e alla fine ci hanno fatto delle verdure cotte al vapore che non sapevano di niente, e come antipasto ci hanno portato 5 metà di carciofi quando eravamo in due (un numero dispari per due perosne!!! O 4 o 6). Abbiamo speso tantissimo per niente. Mille volte meglio i bar e i ristoranti che si trovano nel paese, tutti ci hanno proposto dei piatti pieni di gusto e fantasia. Quindi il ristorante del Parador non lo consiglio.

El aire acondicionado no se podía desconectar y las luces no se podían apagar independientemente, por lo que si ibas al lavabo a media noche había q encenderlas todas.

Reviewed Jul 12, 2026Superbe bâtiment historique (extérieurement) dans un village charmant sur la Plaza Mayor. Petits déjeuners bons, conformes à un Parador 4 étoiles.
Mais passé la porte d'entrée un personnel non concerné, des employés à peine aimables. Le patio principal est architecturalement magnifique, mais terriblement daté .... Chambre spacieuse mais d'un vide sidéral, pas un tableau au mur, rien .... (ambiance de cellule monastique ?) Porte difficile à ouvrir car frottant sur le sol, safetybox ne fonctionnant pas, absence de bouteilles d'eau de courtoisie, pas de machine à café ou bouilloire, strict minimum en amenities, tout cela dans un pseudo 4 étoiles pour la modique somme de 250 € la nuit avec les petits déjeuners inclus.

Reviewed Jul 8, 2026Everything about Hotel. Staff friendly, value, food was good, facilities were clean and location and parking underground was perfect. Also a few local restaurants were just outstanding especially Vasa Brigante. The very best suckling Lamb you will ever have. Just incredible
We had a room that we had to climb some stairs with heavy luggage bags, so request a room on a floor where the elevator is on.
