Het personeel was heel vriendelijk. We konden in het restaurant van het hotel nog eten s'avonds. De ochtend erop was het ontbijt ook in orde. In de kamer krijg je zeker genoeg handdoeken.

Wij hadden dit hotel gekozen omwille van het bubbelbad, maar deze werkte niet. We moesten dan ook eerst nog zoeken hoe we zelfs aan warm water konden komen. Dit was een heel grote tegenvaller. Voor de rest kreeg je ook maar 1 zeepje en waren er spinnen en spinnenwebben in de hoeken van de kamer. Dit was de duurste hotelkamer die we tot nu toe hebben geboekt en deze viel nog het meeste tegen van allemaal. Daardoor vind ik de prijs kwaliteit verhouding niet terecht hier. Zeer jammer. 😕

Airco werkte niet. Als je vanbuiten keek, stonden vele ramen open. Het was 27graden in de kamer

Vrij veel verkeerslawaai bij kamer aan de wegzijde. Inchecken via apparaat, erg onpersoonlijk.

Da wir auf dem Mosel-Camino unterwegs waren, war die Nähe zum Wanderweg ausschlaggebend. Schön ist, dass es ein Restaurant im Hotel mit gutbürgerlicher Küche inklusive leckerer vegetarischer Gerichte gibt. Das reichhaltige Frühstücksbüfett war super.

Das Hotel liegt dicht am Mosel-Camino aber auch dicht an einer stark befahrenen Straße. Ein ruhiges Schlafen war nur mit geschlossenem Fenster möglich. Im Badezimmer war der Seifenbehälter am Waschbecken kaputt, funktionierte aber noch. Am Waschbecken ließ sich der Stöpsel im Ablauf, wenn man ihn runterdrückte, nur noch manuell am Gestänge unter dem Waschbecken nach oben bewegen.

Es war sehr sauber und modern, das Frühstück ausreichend und gut. Das Ambiente des Frühstücksraums ansprechend

Das TV Gerät funktionierte nicht, es gab keinen W-LAN Code mit Passwort im Zimmer.

Extrem laute Zimmer, direkt an einer Durchgangsstraße, billigster Laminatboden, der auseinander fällt. Bodenfliesen im Bad die ebenfalls lose sind und keine Fugen mehr haben. Türen und Lüftungsgitter an denen Stücke herausgebrochen sind .

Das Frühstück war sehr schlecht. Kein Brot kleine Aufbackbrötchen. Wurst, Käse, Besteck, etc. wurde erst nach Aufforderung an die einzige Servicekraft nachgelegt. CheckIn nur über Automat erst ab Punkt 15 Uhr möglich und Rezeption erst ab 17 Uhr wieder besetzt.

Frühstück war seht gut und ausreichend, musste extra hinzugebucht werden. Mit dem Online-Check-In habe ich mich etwas schwer getan. Bushaltestelle und Bahnhof in unmittelbarer Nähe. Restaurant im Hotel , essen war sehr gut.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Hauptstraße hin, bei offenem Fenster war es sehr laut. Zimmer war sehr warm, keine Möglichkeit die Temperatur zu regeln.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Am Zimmer selbst, gab es nichts auszusetzen.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft,tolle Ausstattung,Whirlpool Wanne und Infrarot Sauna.

Kann nichts negatives berichten.

Kissen waren nicht bezogen. Spinnweben und Fön funktioniert nicht

Die Fotos auf Booking.com suggerierten uns den Eindruck eines wirklich schönen und gemütlichen Hotels mit Stil, spiegeln aber aus unserer Sicht nicht die Realität wieder. Wir fühlten uns durch die toll belichteten und inszenierten Bilder hinters Licht geführt. Auf uns wirkte das ganze Hotel lieblos und ausgestorben. Die beiden Mitarbeiter*innen ausreichend freundlich, aber unmotiviert und freudlos. Das Zimmer (Nummer 3) (105 Euro) roch schimmelig/modrig. Geöffnetes Fenster zur Straße mit Autolärm hat nicht geholfen. Am Morgen roch es immer noch so. Ein Silberfischchen im Schlafzimmer, zwei im Badezimmer entdeckt. Frühstück sollte es um 7 Uhr geben, Tür zum Essensraum UND zur Rezeption waren jedoch beide um die Zeit noch verschlossen. Auf freundliche Nachfrage, was los wäre, wurden wir nochmal drei Minuten vor geschlossener Tür stehengelassen. Als wir reindurften, war das Frühstück noch nicht vollständig. All dies habe ich dem Hotelteam in einer Mail (sieh Fotos) geschildert. Keine Antwort. Und mich deshalb entschieden, diese Rezension zu verfassen. Denn für mich muß ein Hotel nicht perfekt sein, ich könnte über all das oben genannte hinwegsehen. Weil es bestimmt nicht immer einfach ist, ein Hotel zu leiten und sich um alles zu kümmern. Aber ich möchte mich willkommen und erstgenommen fühlen. Und das war im Ehringer Hof leider nicht der Fall. Deshalb nur einen Stern.

Das Zimmer war super sauber. Ich hatte ein Zimmer nach hinten heraus, sodass ich nachts das Fenster geöffnet lassen konnte und es trotzdem super still war! Das ist mir als Landmensch besonders wichtig, da ich keine laute Atmosphäre gewohnt bin. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und Check-In & Check-Out waren sehr unkompliziert!

Das Bad war etwas klein und nicht super neumodisch, aber das war kein Problem.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, das Zimmer war überraschend groß und sehr modern, mit offener Dusche und einer hochwertigen Ausstattung. Sehr sauber und gepflegt. Sogar eine kleine Terrasse gehörte zum Zimmer. Bequeme Betten, Getränkekühlschrank (gegen Aufpreis). Wasserkocher und Instant Kaffee kostenlos immer Zimmer. Frühstück bei dem es absolut nichts zu verbessern gab. Unsere E-Bikes konnten sicher in einer Garage untergestellt und kostenlos geladen werden.

Eigentlich nichts. Wenn man nach Fehlern sucht, kann man zwei Spinnen in der Ecke finden, was sich zu dieser Jahreszeit kaum vermeiden lässt.

Das Hotel war echt super 👍 und das Personal 😊 mehr als entgegen komment . Wir sind begeistert ☺️ und würden jederzeit wieder hier her kommen. Björn & Manuela Dresler!

De bedden, het ontbijt en het restaurant

De mail die ik via booking.com heb gestuurd om aan te geven dat ik in een rolstoel zit is niet overgekomen. Ze hebben nl een prima aangepaste kamer. De eigenaar heeft het opgelost, maar wij moesten daardoor bijbetalen voor een extra kamer. Ik heb booking.com gebeld, maar de verbinding werd door booking.com verbroken ! Twee keer over. Geen goede reclame voor jullie. Ben hier erg boos over

De toegankelijkheid van de grote kamer, rolstoeltoegankelijk. Het tuintje achter onze kamer.

Geen airco, de entree zag er wat verlaten uit. Als een auto aan het opladen is kon de rolstoel er niet meer door.

Het was een heel mooi klein kamertje, wij hadden gekozen voor een iets uitgebreidere kamer. Met sauna en bubbelbad op de kamer. Het was allemaal erg schoon en ruim.

Helaas was het bubbelbad defect, dit hadden ze niet vermeld in de informatie. Er stond in de beschrijving ook dat er een privé zwembad was en een hot tub. Er was helaas geen hottub, en er stond een opzet zwembad van intex. Erg jammer. Onze kamer was naast de keuken waardoor ik vroeg wakker werd door het gepiep van de oven en de aanwezigheid van mensen. Naast de andere kant voor onze kamer was de voorraad kast waar ze ook steeds naartoe liepen om eten te pakken. Niet heel erg slim gedaan. Het moet een 3 sterren hotel zijn, maar het viel mij een beetje tegen.

We stayed in the junior suite with private sauna and hottub. In one word: fantastic! We read some of the negative reviews on this site and quite frankly we have no idea what everyone is so negative about. We absolutely loved our 2 nights with Ehranger Hof. The room was spotless and very comfortable. Booking.com doesn't do the place justice. The junior suite does have an air conditioner and even a little refrigerator for some cold drinks etc (not an overpriced minibar!). This was not mentioned on the website BTW. The girl at the reception was so friendly and helpful which made our stay feel a little like home. In the morning we had a great breakfast before heading into Trier for the day. After walking around Trier all day we really looked forward to our evening in the very spacious hotel room together. I've never experienced the desire to cut my day sightseeing short to have some extra time in our hotel room. Go figure...

The only thing I can think of which was on the negative side was the experience of booking through booking.com. This website is so confusing and incomplete. But that's not the hotel's fault of course. Next time we'll book by phone. We definitely will be staying at the Ehranger Hof in the future!

...schönes 3*** Hotel in einem Vorort von Trier. Viele Biker und Motoradfahrer ... sehr solide!

The room and the beds were good and relatively cool despite the hot weather.

They claimed we did not pay our room beforehand on two visits a fortnight apart. Table was blocking fire extinguisher in the hallway. Very bad WiFi. Parking is on the sidewalk or on the street a short walk away. The front desk employee mentioned that "their" parking at the other side of the road was not available now because of building activities. The parking lot is in front of the local train station. I am not sure how that can be the hotel parking. They said we had not paid while after checking twice this is something in Booking.com payment according to them. To us it looked like a payment scam. I believe the explanation one time but have trouble believing that on a second visit. Since there was a child present we made no fuzz on both occassions and insisted them to check. It was sorted out on both occassions but a waste of time and frustration. Then there was a fire extinguisher in the hallway with our room blocked by a tabel. I mentiond that on our first visit. They said they should take care of it. Two weeks later it was still there. In the hallway there was something that looked very much like a WiFi accesspoint with too long an ethernet cable coiled up to it and one open RJ45, which should not be accessible to the public. The owner phoned me in German about a bit more Dutch direct version of this review on booking .com and threated with legal action. He restated the problems with booking.com and that they were looking into this. He stated that the table was no problem according to a friend with the local fire department, but that thet removed the table now. He stated that the device in the hallway was not an accesspoint. I have the phone call on file for further reference, which I am allowed to have as a Dutch citizen. I emailed the Trier fire department with the photo and will update this review when I receive an answer. I updated this review given the extra information.

I liked the hotel. Comfortable beds. The staff was very nice.

The rooms didn't have a fridge or microwave. Also if you bring food from another place you can't warm the food there.

Very short check-in window 4-6:30pm. Missed the window and didn't realise, staff hung up on us when calling about checking in late. Never made it to the property. BE WARY OF THE CHECK IN TIMES.

Das Zimmer zur Straße war am Abreisetag sehr laut (Donnerstag). Die restlichen Tage waren lautstärketechnisch ok.

I was pleasantly surprised. Having major allergy issues to chemicals I was a bit leery about staying here as most hotels don't follow manufacturer instructions and liberally put too much chemicals (Quat based) on surfaces due to covid panic. This place was great though, they clearly follow chemical handling and dosage procedures, don't seem to use quat based disinfectants and the windows are nice and big for great room ventilation. Would stay here again 100%. Room was comfy and clean.

A simple and straightforward hotel, nothing fancy however I did enjoy my stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the food in the restaurant was delicious!

It is close to the train station, the place has a homey touch and the staff is very considerate of your needs

Leider war das Badezimmer sehr klein und nicht sauber. Das Preis und Leistungsverhältnis stimmte nicht. Das Personal war sehr freundlich!

Slechte ervaring met het hotel. Weinig bezetting, onduidelijkheden over restaurant, dat bleek gesloten op de info was het anders.

Für 1-2 Nächte völlig in Ordnung Essen war gut genau gegenüber der Bahnhof. Super Verbindung zur Innenstadt nach Trier. Alles in einem „gut“

Warmes Wasser dauert sehr lang. Beim Ersten Frühstück gab es zu wenig Brot. Bezug war 1/2 Stunde zu spät. Super Kaffee-Versorgung, sehr sauber, tolle Betten. Gutes Essen im Haus.

We had to walk further than expected because there were no rooms in Schweich because there was festival. This hotel is right next to the train. We had a room on the backside which buffered much of the sound. There is a little patio in the back which has several tables. Despite being understaffed and overwhelmed with guests in both the restaurant and the hotel due to the festival they were very helpful and let us check in early.

Arrived at our chosen hotel (booked over 8 months ago) at 5.30pm after riding all day to be informed that they had a computer error which double booked & there was no room for us. The owner booked us into Ehranger instead & we ended up somewhere we would never have chosen to stay - although at the time we were grateful of an alternative & thankful they had room for us I think we would have slept better on the floor of the carpark at our intended place! It was a nice room & staff were very helpful, but we had an awful stay as it was on a very noisy main road in a not so nice area, the room was far too hot, we had the window open all the time & were treated to a woman beating up her partner on the station forecourt opposite then sirens as ambulance & police arrived, someone gagging on the street outside in the middle of the night, plus noisy trains opposite that only stopped 3am-5am. Dreadful evening meal too, although breakfast was OK.

The room was a good size, the bed comfortable, the staff was very friendly and the breakfast was pretty good. A bonus for us was comfortable outdoor seating in the back. I said for a short stay be the location is not really close to anything.

The hotel is on a main road just opposite the station. Unfortunately, car parking is also just outside the hotel on the main road. Having started with negatives, the hotel itself was good. We had a reasonable sized room and everything worked OK. We stayed there three nights and ate at the hotel on one evening....food was good, service excellent. Wi fi was free and worked everywhere. Not much to do in the surroundings of the hotel unless you drive/bus/train to Trier or go in the opposite direction and drive to Schweich. Nevertheless, hotel was OK.

next to the rail station, easy to reach the center by train ( 6 minutes). quiet place. By bus, it took 20 minutes or more to reach the center, but the view until there is nice, crossing Moselle. Actually, the hotel is located in the Teilstadt, so, for the travelers interested more in visiting the historical area of the city, is a little too far.

Good room, good facilities, very friendly staff, lots of parking space around the hotel, busstop next to the hotel, trainstation opposite the hotel offreing a very nice stay. But most of all: an excellent fivestarclassed breakfastbuffet is served.

This hotel is fine for a quick stop over. Clean and decent breakfast but although our room was very nice it got very hot at night. The air conditioning did not work despite asking the staff for help. This meant we had to have the window open which then let the train noises in.

Hotel wird regelmäßig modernisiert. Aktuell ist die Fassade eingerüstet. Komfortzimmer mit neuen Möbeln und kürzlich renoviertem Bad. Frühstück mit guter Auswahl. Lage direkt gegenüber Bahnhof an Durchgangsstraße, bei geschlossenem Fenster nur geringe Geräusche im Zimmer. Bis Trier circa 15 Minuten Fahrzeit mit Pkw, Parkplätze an der Straße vor dem Hotel

The hotel has the perfect location for those, who want to visit Trier but stay outside the city and maybe pay a little less. Just across the hotel there's a railwaystation from where you can take the train directly to Trier Hauptbahnhof (app. 1,50 Euro, 10 Minutes) The staff is very nice and we had a wonderful evening at the restaurant and the bar. The rooms were fine aswell and the breakfast was allright. The only negative thing to notice would be a not quite clean bathroom, but the rest of the room was ok. All in all we had a good stay.

Due to major road work we had a bit of trouble finding the hotel. Once there, we were directed to park our bikes in the owners garage next to the hotel. Check in was fast and efficient and the rooms were well outfitted and comfortable. The dinning room served very tasty dinner and breakfast and the staff were more than hospitable.

Wir haben für zwei Nächte in dem Hotel übernachtet. Das Zimmer war sehr nett eingerichtet, alles sauber und ordentlich. Das Bad sehr hübsch und sauber. Die Matratzen waren gut, wir haben gut darauf geschlafen.Auch das Frühstück und das Essen waren gut. Keinerlei Beanstandungen in dieser Hinsicht. Einzigster Minus-Punkt: die Wasserleitungen sind offensichtlich nicht neu, wenn im Nebenzimmer geduscht wurde, hatte man das Gefühl, derjenige steht bei uns neben dem Bett. Aber wenn man in dieser Hinsicht nicht empfindlich ist, würde ich das Hotel jederzeit weiter empfehlen. Danke für einen netten Aufenthalt :-)

Hotelli toimi välietappina matkalla Moselille ja täytti hyvin tehtävänsä. Paikoitusalueita ei ole, eli auto tielle lähialueille. Hotelli sijaitsi rautatieasemaa vastapäätä mistä johtuen junien ääniä hieman kuuluu. Muuten siisti perushotelli, pientä remonttia ehkä tarvitaan. Aamupala oli yllättävän hyvä sisältyi hintaan. Moottoritieltä tullessa tarvitsee navigaattorin jotta löytää ko. tien.

Huone oli hiljattain remontoitu ja erittäin siisti. Aamiainen oli erittäin hyvä ja runsas. Hotellin yhteydessä oli ravintola ja olutpaikka. Vastaanotto aukesi vasta kello 16. Hotellissa ei ole hissiä. Ulkopuolella on menossa remontti, joka ei tosin viikonloppuna häirinnyt. Parkkipaikat kadun varressa. Hotelli on lähellä moottoritietä Trierin hiljaisessa esikaupungissa, Trierin keskustaan on noin 6 km. Hyvä paikka yöpyä automatkan varrella.

Where to start...well there were a couple good things. The hotel is close to the train station but you can hear the trains at night. It is also close to a bus stop but quite a long trip to the city center (Porta Nigra area). Reserved a non-smoking room and we were put in a smoking room. Noise from the street and pub located below rooms. No electrical outlet in bathroom. VERY tiny bathroom; so narrow they had to cut a notch in the door so it would clear the sink when closed! Bare bones decor in room. Floor had not been swept so suitcases were dirty. Has a restaurant but we didn't use it. Very limited places to eat near hotel; there is a small grocery store nearby. Could feel the springs in the bed. Wifi very weak in room; had to set up computer on hotel reservations desk. Shower water temperature was inconsistent and hand shower was broken. Burned out bulb in bathroom hadn't been replaced. In short, we checked out a day early!
