Nice big pools that were not too busy even in the high season. The location is excellent, right on Mushroom Bay Beach. If you stay here make sure you take the Tanis Fast Boat, as it will drop you on the beach right in front of the Resort. It's easy to rent a scooter just close by outside Bali Hai, and there's an ATM round there as well. There's lots of places to eat within walking distance, and its a nicer beach than the main one (Jungubatu). Would happily stay here again!

I love this cute little beach and the hotel! The reception, cleaning guys, everyone was so nice! Bungalows are amazing, very comfortable, with shower outside in the open air which was incredible. Also there is a proper ferry line directly to the hotel, super convenient! All territory is very clean and well maintained, in the reception they are helping with snorkel tours and motorbike rent. Snorkel tour with mantas is absolute must!!! I stayed double time from what I’ve planned.

The only one thing that could be better is the hotel restaurant…Food is so so, music is absolute horror, outdated and the volume is too high all the time. Nobody was staying there during the day or in the night, because it was so uncomfortable! All beach clubs on the right and on the left are full, and Tanis empty. Definitely playlist change and lower the volume would help.

The breakfast had good variety and was tasty. The location near the beach was superb as we could use the provided bean bags and umbrellas. The hotel was also very close to many good restaurants. An excellent hotel in all respects.

Hatten einen großen Familienbungalow und der war absolut super! Groß mit Verbindungstür zu kindern, 2 Bädern, 2 Kühlschränken, bequeme Betten. Alles super sauber! Anlage ist schön grün und liebevoll bebaut. Service war absolut super. Frühstück war auch besser als bei anderen Balinesischen Hotels. Schnorcheltrip zu Mantas war super gut.

Strand war leider nicht so schön wie wir erhofft haben. Leider einfach zu viel los, sowie zu viele Boote im Wasser. Die pools von Tanis sind leider nur OK, da kaum Schatten vorhanden und kein Blick aus Meer (tipp beim Nachbar Hotel hats nen infinitypool den man nutzen darf, wenn man dort trinkt/isst). Restaurant bei Tanis, leider eher schlecht: Langweilig, teuerer und pizza geht gar nicht! Gibt ja genug alternativen am Strand.

Beliggenheten er helt perfekt. Kan rusle bort til to gode restauranter fra hotellet. Senga var det beste med hotellrommet, den var myk og komfortabel. Koselig balkong med fin utsikt.

Belysningen på hotellrommet var forferdelig. Kun spotter i taket som blendet øynene på kvelden dersom de var på. Hotellet kunne med fordel ha påspandert nattborslamper. Speilet på badet var også veldig lite og dårlig.

I was very ill from Bali belly, I asked the cleaner to clean after I was sick and my partner cleaned the bathroom as much as he could. After our room was cleaned. Bathroom still had vomit on floor. Aircon didn’t work great, very noisy. Wifi didn’t work. Would not recommend

Awesome water slide for the kids, hours of entertainment. Delish breakfast and staff were really lovely.

The aircon wasn’t cold in our first room so we moved to another room and had the same issue. Didn’t get much sleep unfortunately.

Good location to mushroom bay, staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are quite spacious and fairly clean, aircon is nice and cold, beautiful gardens.

Comparatively in my opinion there is no way that this is a 3 star resort, I would say 2 stars at best. When we first arrived through the back street entrance we were quite disappointed by the looks of the place- very run down. The pool toilets are not usable and the pool itself has broken tiles and is overly chlorinated with a strange smell and I’m suspicious it gave me an ear infection. The restaurant smells like sewerage, I think there might be a septic system nearby so that bought down the tone further and put us off eating there. When you step out onto the beach from the restaurant you see the beauty of mushroom bay which is a stunning low key spot, great for families. I feel terrible writing a negative review but I feel that we were mislead particularly by the 3 star rating as it put a bit of a dampener on our time in Lembongan.

De ligging is perfect, je kan zo van de boot af het hotel in wandelen (mits je in Mushroom bay van boord gaat). Het hotel is een goede uitvalsbasis om Nusa Lembongan en Nusa Ceningan te verkennen.

Luidruchtige koelkast op de kamer, maar die kan je in de avond uit het stopcontact trekken. Ontbijt is wat karig, je kan 1 ontbijtmaaltijd en 1 drankje kiezen, mocht je meer willen eten of drinken dan moet je bijbetalen. Zakjes koffie en thee op de kamer werden na gebruik niet aangevuld.

Отель чистый, имеется все необходимое. Персонал отзывчивый, дружелюбный. Расположение отеля на первой линии , пляж безопасный , кафе рестораны все рядом, мне все понравилось.

The property was right on the beach of Mushroom bay which was beautiful, the rooms were well kept and there is 2 pools on the property with lots of seating around! The staff were so friendly and they do a good happy hour with lovely cocktails!

The beds are very comfy! Needed the mosquito net over the bed as there was alot of mozzies! Great location at mushroom beach. Great pizzas and fish tacos were awesome but way too many onions (even when we asked for no onions)

A bit dirty. No soap in bathroom (had to request it). Staff unfortunately not that great with customer service. We felt like there was no one leading the team. They are all very young.

Spent three days here, first visit ever to Lembongan. Resort is directly where boat lands so that was really good. Our rooms were garden bungalows. They are big and are in a lovely garden. The beds were really good. Really comfortable with gorgeous linen. Could have used better and more towels and face washers or hand towels would have been useful. The biggest issue we had was intermittent hot water and that the shower was really difficult to get to a suitable temp. It was either lava or freezing and hot water would run out because it would get used up as you were trying to just get it to a temp you could get under without burning yourself. The staff were helpful and attentive and the little Resto had super strong cocktails, yum milkshakes, good service although sometimes food could take a while. They did do good food. I recommend the Baha tacos, the tropical hot oatmeal and the green power bowl. Also the morning smashed avo on toast was awesome. The prices were really good too especially for accommodation. The pools were cool and clean and the kids had an absolute ball on the slide. All in all we had a great stay for a cheaper place so I can definitely recommend it.

Location. Comfortable and large rooms with a nice outdoor area. Slide in the pool was a hit with the kids.

Breakfast. Pillows were so thin. Bathrooms were a bit smelly.

On the beach 3 pools breakfast area overlooking the beach, although only a 3 star its possibly one of the best places to stay on Lembongan Next trip I would stay there again as my first choice but only a bungalow and only in the old section as you need to be a mountain goat to reach the newer bungalows at the rear.

Young cleaning guys around 6 or 7 of them are very lazy they do the bare minimum not really cleaning the bungalows properly or re stocking items, they sit around most of the day in unoccupied bungalows or on the day beds (on their phones and smoking) which are meant for guests, good luck if you want to use a day bed you would have to see reception to have them moved, they need their own dayroom because its unfair for guests who's outlook from their bungalow Varanda is just them on their phones all day playing music talking and smoking, the supervisor is always chasing them up to clean the rooms supply water towels toilet paper.

The location on the beach was stunning. Without transport it was isolated for travelling however day tours picked you up and there were plenty of taxis Also the bonfires on the beach are amazing

Happy with everything

The swimming pools were great fun and our children loved the big blue slide. Right next to a beautiful sandy beach from where also the boats leave for Sanur, which was very convenient. Close to many restaurants and shops. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially Sophia at reception. Lots of choice for breakfast a la carte, which were all delicious and more than enough in terms quantity! Beds and pillows were very comfortable for us. The mattresses seemed brand new. Lovely view over the sea with a little balcony where you could sit and enjoy the view. We also had lovely massages in the spa (although they were all a bit too shorter than the indicated time).

Very poor WiFi. No real cupboard space or drawers to store your clothes. Rooms in the main building were a little tired could use a little refurbishment.

le manque d'entretien de la chambre. On refait le lit mais on ne nettoie pas l'espace lavabo , plan de travail . Les rideaux sont à changer partout (anneaux sorties des œillets) . Le passage devant notre logement à longueur de journées des agents d'entretiens. L'herbe est piétinée, pour ne pas suivre le chemin...c'est vraiment un manque de tranquillité..C'est vraiment dommage il y a du potentiel à exploité . Il faut entretenir l'ensemble. Il faudrait revoir aussi la partie accueil des départs bateaux et déplacer la partie restauration et chanteur (top) orienté vers la plage...plus de clients !

We were stuck when Agoda booked us into a hotel that didn’t exist. Driver dumped us at wrong place far up mountain. Many hotels quit Agoda. 2nd driver helped, contacted decent hotel (Tanis) that had rooms at triple our booking price. Staff very helpful & accommodating.

The bed was comfortable, the location was fantastic & the price was reasonable. Pickup service was great too, staff were very helpful. Pools were lovely & clean & not over crowded most of the time.

Noisy crowds around the pools & restaurant, great if you are looking for action & entertainment but not overly relaxing if you want some serenity.

Everything single thing was nice about this property. Me and my family had a great time staying there.

The apartments were noisy due to construction behind the resort and were different to what is shown on booking.com Fortunately, the staff were wonderful and were able to move us into the garden villas which were comfortable and quiet.

It was right on the beach, nice restaurant for breakfast, fabulous staff, super cute dj who rocks the night away and you can even sing karaoke if you want… We had the best time ever 😅🙌💃🎉

Great location, right on the beach at Mushroom Bay which is excellent for swimming and watching the ferries come in. The Aircon was excellent.

The room was as dated and run down as the price indicates. There were broken things but it didnt affect function. The entrance by bus is a little sketchy and I initially thought we were dropped in the wrong place.

The water on the slide was off for 2 days, the food was terrible. The place felt tired, there weren't many people so the atmosphere was not there. There was a group doing a modeling shoot, they were looked after more than the guests.

Location of the beach

The property is tired and needs a revamp. There is rubbish lying around by the entrance and generally it appears that the fast boat company gets all of the attention and the hotel gets little. The breakfast was poor and we only ate there once out of the 4 nights We choose to eat at one of the other restaurants close by instead.

We had Sofia looking after us for our stay she was so knowledgable in helping us, she was able to assist us with organizing laundry service and also the hire of a buggy for us to drive around and explore the island, she also organised all of our fast boat tickets. I would highly recommend staying at The Tanis, we will definitely be back.

The location is great

A bit dated

Location was great. Great views of the sea and volcano. Two small pools was great for when there was too much noise in one you could go to the other. Mushroom bay was beautiful, although food options were limited for my low budget.

Nothing really stood out for what I didn’t like but I feel it wasn’t worth what I spent for accomodation. Although my son did cut his foot pretty badly on the slide going down it. I didn’t like that. I didn’t tell the hotel staff which now I think of it I should have.

Location was good. Beach was pretty good. Hidden beach was a neat little beach

Only a minor thing but lots of boats tided up in the breakers. Breakfast was very average. Only went once

Mushroom Bay is great, quiet enough but still variation in dining options around the beach and walks up the roads from the bay. Very handy that Tanis' fast boat pulls up straight out the front. Included breakfast menu had something for all four of us, basic but nice. Tanis is NOT 5 star, probably built 40-50 years ago and only basic maintenance carried out since, however, most aircons look fairly new. Our kids loved the slide and pools, plus the option to swim in the ocean (they found a tree to climb and jump into the ocean from, out on the point). We had adjoining rooms (Tropical Garden Bungalows, 2A 2B, separate from the 3 story building), the beds were good (a little soft for me, perfect for my wife), improvements would be: blackout curtains (garden lights left on all night), a clothes dryer or drying room (no towel racks and nothing dries in the tropics, unless in the aircon), comfortable seats or couches in the rooms (lots of biteys at night) and the road fixed to the back of the hotel (rough limestone track; wouldn't be bad on a trail bike but the scooter kept bottoming out). All in all a nice week on Lembongan via Tanis Resort; surf, snorkelling, food, nice people and helpful staff.

The place had the worst WiFi in all of Bali, yet one of the most expensive places, the staff were rude and pretend not to understand English when you have any issue, unfriendly boat drivers lounging all over the place smoking cigarettes

This hotel is right on the beach where the Sanur ferry to Mushroom Bay lands, so the location is ideal for swift transfer and for accessing the beach. There is a seating area with views to the beach and a DJ was playing (rather too loudly though) in the evening. The restaurant area is just behind this and there is a good breakfast choice and an extensive a la carte menu for later in the day - we found the food to be of a reasonable standard and inexpensive, as were the drinks. Our bungalow room, 1B, was clean and good size, despite the somewhat strange huge layout of a huge shower/toilet area with a handbasin outside it. The shower was good and the linen and room itself nice and clean. I believe a lot of the bungalow rooms had issues with the air conditioning though. There are two nice swimming pools, one ideal for children with a huge slide into it. For the price, and location, this was a great choice.

We stopped in for a beach sunset dinner, the table and outlook was a perfect place to relax, service and food not so great. We had our first meal arrive 45 mins after ordering and our 3 meals were staggered meaning we ate seperate to each other, food was cold. Meals were expensive for dishes we ordered (BLAT, chicken parmigiana and grilled seafood stick)

Convenient hotel on beachfront in pretty Mushroom Bay. Easy access to beach which has nice beach bars. Small bay. Hotel good value and comfortable rooms. I stayed in cheaper option for two nights but they do have villa style rooms which also looked lovely for longer stays. They have ferry back to Sanur which is very convenient. Easy access to taxis to visit more of Lembongan.
