Towada Prince Hotel

Very well maintained and wonderful staff. Onsen on site. Very good breakfast and dinner. Very relaxing.

The AC did not cool well at all. I would not stay there in the summer months.

ご飯が美味しくてとても良かったです。 レストランのスタッフの方のホスピタリティも素晴らしかったです！！ お誕生日ケーキを追加でオーダーしましたが、フルーツたっぷりで、生クリームもちょうど良くて、あたたかみのある上質なおもてなしの心を感じるケーキでした。 お庭でのんびりできてそれも良かったです。

コンパクトでシンプルな造りのホテルなので、快適でしたが、しいて挙げるなら、トイレが狭かった。

食事の美味しさとロケーション。　 露天風呂も景色が美しくのんびり出来ました。雨に降られ靴がびしょ濡れでしたがレセプションの方には古新聞をいただき助かりました。スタッフの方も、すれ違うとハキハキした挨拶をしてくださり気持ち良かった。

部屋のバストイレが非常に狭くて、古いのがよくなかった。

最後一天要離開前跟櫃檯詢問是否可以裝飲用水，但不知道是不是語言溝通的問題，客服人員回覆沒有提供飲用水，要自己花錢買瓶裝水，回覆的態度有點強硬。這樣的狀況讓原本美好的體驗留下一些遺憾。

Echt Japans hotel zonder toeristen!! Wij hadden pech omdat het veel regende. We zijn met de auto gaan rijden naar de prachtige natuur en de watervallen. Veel gewandeld maar een boottochtje op het meer zat er helaas niet in. Trouwens een goede kok in het restaurant, heerlijke Wagyu gegeten!! Overigens ook een zeer mooie tempel in de buurt.

Ik had graag een authentiek dorpje gezien in de buurt. Dat miste ik een beetje.

No room cleaning for my second day. Front desk told me my booking is "no cleaning plan", which I am not aware of, nor I am aware of any other hotel that offer booking for "no cleaning plan". Anyway, the staff gave new towels to me.

湖畔につながる庭の芝の手入れが行き届いていた。食前や食後に軽く散策したり、なにも考えずにぼんやり佇んだりするのに最適。

We enjoyed the magnificent and peaceful lake view, felt being hugged by the Lake Towada. The staff were warm and friendly.

It'd be wonderful if hotel's boutique could offer diverse choices for those who desire salty snacks as a lunch replacement, since the hotel it self didn't provide lunch and it's a bit isolate to everything. Would also suggest the room could install the shade curtains, our sleep got disturbed by the early morning light.

旅館有自己的景觀庭園，坐在草皮上看著十和田湖吹著風，非常舒服。晚餐的主餐牛肉非常好吃。

法式晚餐有吃沒有懂，最後只記得很好吃的主餐牛肉。

The environment was pleasant and peaceful in that it was facing the lake. The restaurant staff were very polite and service oriented. The food was very good and ambience was great too!

The service orientation and facilities did not match the reviews. When we returned to the room after our visits on Day 2, we were shocked to note that the room was not done, and even the towels were not changed, although we had put out the "Make Room' sign at the door! Upon enquiry, we were told that it was indicated in the system that we did not need the room to be made. But we were not even asked, to start with! But what was worst was the poor service recovery thereafter by a tall elderly gentleman who looked like a manager. Instead of swiftly attending to the matter, he left it to a very junior staff (who tried his best), and walked away after suggesting that we were making much ado over nothing. We were not. All we did was to ask why the room was not made, and that all we needed at that point (at 6pm) were fresh towels. It was only after I used Google Translate to express my disappointment to the 'Manager' that he apologized more sincerely. The staff at the check-out was very rude. When my wife (Chinese) and I went to check out, even without looking at us, she rattled off something in Japanese. We did not understand a word and as she was not looking at us we weren't sure if she was speaking to us or to her colleague seated next to her. When my wife told her that we did not understand what she (the receptionist) was saying, she looked up. And upon realizing that we did not understand her, she literally sneered, and audibly! That was very rude! The hotel's bathroom needs a renovation to make it more modern, and the carpet in the room needs cleaning too. There was a musky smell when we stepped in, which went away (or we got used to it) later. The air-con was not cold. The dressing table seat was old and material peeling off. Overall, not a good experience for a 4 star hotel with comparatively higher charges.

ランチ提供こそありませんが、日中でも露天風呂やスイーツ（事前予約制）、サービスコーヒーもあるので、悪天候でホテルに留まる選択をしても困ることはありませんでした。 十和田湖畔の中心地である休屋までの送迎バスも利用できるため、足にも困りません。 ディナーのフレンチも丁寧でこだわりを感じる美味しいものでした。連泊しても飽きにくいメニュー配慮もありがたいものです。 初の十和田湖エリア滞在の拠点に選びましたが、他人にも勧めやすい素敵なホテルでした。

およそ必要なサービスが整っており、滞在中に不足を感じることはありませんでした。 強いて言えば館内は比較的寒くなりやすい（とくにラウンジ）ですが、涼しい時期にこのエリアに来るならちゃんとした上着を持っているでしょうから、寒がりの方でなければあまり気にするほどではないと想います。

This is the best hotel I stayed during this 25days holiday here. Lake Towada was exceptionally beautiful. We arrived during the sunset hour and the view was spectacular. When we arrived at the hotel, the staff Sumi was very professional in helping us do a quick checkin and help us with our luggages to the rooms. Then we receive a surprise French style dinner. The food was so good and we were all very happy. The onsen was good but the water quality was not very good...just spring water with minerals. Rooms are of good size and the beds very comfortable. Highly recommended!!!

全てのスタッフがとても丁寧で温かい対応。十和田湖の景色が時間と共に変化していく様子を見ながらの夕食は最高でした。朝食もとても美味しく、毎日楽しみでした。

おそらく宿泊の客層によることなのだろうけれど、ツインのベッド配置の部屋しか選択肢がない。 ツインを中央でくっつけてダブル仕様のお部屋があってもいいのかなと思いました。（私達夫婦はダブルの部屋を基本は選択するので）

很多小細節都照顧得很好，但無法理解為什麼房間沒有暖氣？

服務人員親切，早餐好吃，用餐環境優雅，享用早餐同時可欣賞窗外風景十和田湖。 房間配有咖啡豆、磨豆研磨跟手沖咖啡蠻特別。

房間整體偏舊，用鑰匙鎖有點不方便。 建議提早入住前讓客人預約用餐時段。

目の前が十和田湖で、素晴らしいロケーション！ 自動ロックなどの過剰な近代化サービスがなく、血の通うサービスでした。

素晴らしい湖畔にあるために、荒天時のアクセスの難しさが非常に残念でした。スタッフさんもご苦労があると思います。

The location is perfect, direct access to the lake. You’d really enjoy your breakfast and dinner with a wonderful view. Attentive and helpful staff at reception, breakfast and dinner. Also appreciated the coffee and tea service at the lounge. Onsen is amazing, open air looking into the foliage garden. During my two nights stay, one night I enjoyed onsen with snow and the second night with clear starry sky. I did not know the day after our departure, the hotel will be closed for the winter season. Would love to return again at this peaceful place with an outstanding service.

The outdoor onsen was very well setup with a beautiful garden view and night sky view. The breakfast was decent, I appreciated the hand grinder for coffee in the morning. The lake view is very nice.

A beautiful old style hotel, even had a proper key to enter the rooms!! Very comfortable beds and stunning views over the lake. We had the food package and it was the finest of dining!! All in all a great stay.

Our only gripe was the en-suite was tiny!! It looked like a pod type unit and for the money it is something that needs looking into? Apart from that it was an excellent stay :)

The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. Service was prompt, professional and very reassuring. The dinner and breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety. A truly pleasant stay.

Un très bon accueil, un cadre magnifique, un dîner et petit déjeuner délicieux, très soignés. Le Onsen, avec vue extérieure et éclairage de nuit sur les feuilles d’automne, fut magique de nuit. Une ambiance très apaisante, une vue sur le lac à couper le souffle. Génial ! Merci.

- The view - Friendly and helpful staff

- Place looks outdated - nearest convenient store is 30mins drive away - the only restaurant on site serves only 2 set menu, both ridiculously expensive for the portion. Thankfully breakfast was semi buffet style. - the only minimart on site closes at 9pm, with minimal variety. - ice cubes were chargeable

The hotel view is its biggest attraction. Located on the lake, there are plenty of outdoor seating and hammock to help enjoy it and a walking track. The hotel staff are all extremely friendly. Their restaurant service boasts creative cooking which goes well with the view.

なんといってもロケーションの良さ、大浴場からの夜の眺め、朝陽が照らす湖面から芝の庭の美しさ。感動ものでした。私たちは一泊しかできなかったのが、残念でした。スタッフの対応は良い方かな？ 館内は清掃が行き届いており、気持ちよく過ごせました^_^ お食事も美味しかったし、サーブも心地よくしていただけました。お部屋に置いてくださっていたコーヒーは豆のまま。自分で挽いてドリップしなければいけませんでしたが、その作業もまた楽しませていただきました。 ゆっくりとした時間を丁寧に過ごす…そんなホテルでした。 リス🐿️が庭を横切っていきました^_^

高原のリゾートで優雅に過ごす気分に浸る事ができました。施設がシンプルでコンパクトにまとまっており、にも関わらず不足は感じず素晴らしいです。目の前の芝草の庭、大浴場の露天風呂、レストランの食事、が特に良かったです。

館内で様々案内されていた湖を巡る遊歩道ですが、実際歩いてみるとかなり荒れていて、木橋が折れて進めない場所もあり、最近の豪雨の影響なのか仕方ないかも知れませんが、事前に教えてくださればと思いました。

Location is superb

It feels old and overpriced. The food was fancy-looking but wasn’t really worth the premium Pricing. The staff was foreign, couldn’t speak fluent Japanese or bearable English and made it feel like a budget inn experience… despite the stiff price tag

レストラン、十和田湖の見える大窓、前庭、ベンチ。日の出前、前庭のベンチに座り、ヘラクレス流星群を眺めたら、1つだけだが流れ星を見ることができた。

お値段がお高い。夕食のフランス料理は美味しかったが、もう少し量があればなお良い。
