East to find. Spacious accommodation and very clean. Quiet and comfortable
The door is very flimsy with a wobbly yale lock. As a single female traveller I pushed the heavy chair against the door overnight for peace of mind.
Food very good location fir my needs very good staff very friendly and helpful
As above
The toilet leaked the shower leaked the hot water in the shower was scolding when the shower was on 1 It was ok but not ideal. The hot tap on the sink when it was on it only trickled and then went off we reported it but they didn't seem interested in what we had to say. With all the leeks the carpet in the bedroom near the bathroom was wet.
The bed was comfortable and there was a kettle and teabags, coffee, drinking chocolate, milk, sugar, cups, glasses, spoons.
Great room - lovely and quiet and spotlessly clean. We had a meal on the hotel’s ‘pie night’ - can absolutely recommend. Terrific food at a reasonable price. We were delightfully served and it was quick. We had visited the RSPB at Snettisham - this hotel, just a frw minutes away, more than me our expectations.
Bit difficult to contact the hotel beforehand to book a table for dinner. The phone number on the website didn’t work. I found the number eventually on facebook.
The toilet was leaking through the bathroom, under the door on to the carpet in the bedroom. The shower leaked and it was scolding hot turned it down to 1 and it just wasn't very good at all plus the tap on the sink was just a wast of time the water just trickled out the tap and was scolding hot but stopped before you could get enough in the sink to Evan wash your hands . Not happy at all.
The bed was comfortable and warm. The room had a kettle, cups, glasses, and tea and coffee chocolate drink.👍
Very easy check-in, big car park, quiet bedroom with sitting area outside, clean, and Snettisham RSPB and beach are just a short drive away. Tea and coffee facilities in the room were welcome, as were the toiletries.
I didn't sleep well: the mattress is very tired and needs replacing. No wi-fi in room, and a confusing wifi QR code poster on the wall which didn't seem to work.
Lovely pub food, wonderful garden with animal pens. Very close to field walk for dog stay. Glad there was a fan as room very warm. Basic room but clean
Beds are very soft and I didn’t find them comfortable. No fridge or place to store food - pub may help out if asked. Hot water in bathroom tap is way too hot and needs addressing.
Great location
Would be nice if a breakfast was available all wk not just sat/sun
Location nice staff good size room with comfortable beds, quiet at night.
Didn’t realise there was no breakfast included during a weekday visit then disappointed to find on our return on second day our room had not been cleaned or tray replenished it was too late to complain as we just wanted to retire.
Helpful staff, good size room. Beautiful fresh sheets and towels.
We were there for two nights, it would be nice to have clean cups to use on the second day / night - if you stay for more than one night the rooms are not serviced .
great for exploring north norfolk, great food... try the ploughmans, lovely little village
nothing
Disfrutamos mucho de la estancia, de la comida y del ambiente del lugar. Seguramente volveremos el año que viene. A destacar el personal que fue muy amable y nos ayudo en todo.
Estaba todo genial, no tenemos ninguna queja.
Location
Room needed updating
Big bedroom, tea making facilities, parking, food in restaurant. Friendly staff.
Shower area needed some attention.
Location and disability aids with disabled parking right outside the accommodation
Didn’t sleep at all well, The bed was awful needs new mattress, and the rooms were not very clean, especially the bathroom.
Good location for the activities we'd planned in the area. Staff were friendly. The menu is standard pub fare but the fish and chips were executed beautifully with homemade tartare sauce and coleslaw. The room was a good size and in a ground floor annex at the rear of the building. We appreciated the toiletries and linen. Breakfast is only served at weekends, so we took cereal and bowls There is a convenience store nearby from which to get milk. The are alternative eateries in the village offering breakfast. Despite the negatives, we'd give them another go. If you do stay, don't miss the village church - it's stunning.
The decor was a little tired and there was some unsightly mould in the sealant round the shower. The vertical rail supporting the shower head was loose in its wall supports. Given the room was quite spacious, the en-suite was compact and could prove a challenge for those withe a larger frame. There was next to no space for toiletries - only a small shelf above the sink, which proved useless as it was coming away from the wall.
Location and parking good .
Room 2 no windows , and uncomfortable bed .Hot night meant sleeping with outside door open .
Quiet room behind pub
No aircon
Its in a lovely little village and the rooms are seperated from the pub
Nothing we didnt like
Firstly, the parking was generous, there is plenty of spaces and you didn't worry about not having a spot. Secondly, the room size was good, and we got two nice arm chairs in there too. The decor in our room was also nice, and it was overall quite comfortable. The location really suited our plans, close to Sandringham, Heacham, Hunstanton and Castle Rising. Could not have asked for a better spot. Despite my rating, for the cost I'd probably stay again if I wanted to stay in this area, as the rate was really reasonable, and my main gripes are down to the wet room, which is not present in all rooms.
The main two issues were the temperature and the wet room. The temperature issue is perhaps not entirely within the control of the pub, but our room seemed to trap heat like crazy. The internal temperature was 28.5 degrees despite being less than 22 all day long. On our first day it hit 30 inside on a hotter day. I think if on a normal summers day it's hitting 28, and not dipping below 24 you have to consider investing in aircon. The ventilation is just terrible. We ended up sat there with the doors and windows wide open and it still did not dip below 24. The other issue was with the wet room. The whole thing really needs an overhaul. There is black mould present, it's looking grotty and run down now. I only stayed in this room as it was the only one left, as I really don't care for wet rooms and this one reminded me why. The actual room was a solid 7 out of 10 but this wet room was a 2/10. Just looks grubby. I highly recommend tiling more next time to avoid the mouldy walls near shower. The toilet also struggled to flush.
Een mooie authentieke pub met mooie appartementen als kamer.

Everything was pretty good. Arrived later than expected due to traffic and stopped serving food so went down the road for a takeaway. Beds were nice and comfortable had shower gel and shampoo and conditioner in bathroom nice selection of tea and coffee and hot chocolate. Perfect size for a nights stay.
Few cob webs on ceiling, hot water from bathroom was very hot like from a boiling kettle hot. Toilet made a loud noise after flushing so woke people up.

Second time we have stayed within a couple of months. Very Good
The room and the food we had was excellent! Great value for money!
Good clean room with a lovely addition of an outside space. Food was good and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our late arrival for food
Nothing
Location, parking on site, close to public transport, good price for room
Nothing
The rooms which are situated separate to the pub are spacious and comfortable. The Queen Vic serves good pub grub, no breakfast during the week. Good value. On a bus route.
The pub was clean but could do with a refurb.
The place is lovely, you have what you need. Beds are really comfy. Staff and locals really really friendly and helpful. Felt welcome as soon as we got there. Didn’t eat dinner because we decided to catch the sunset, but food looked good. Everyone helped us with logistics. Breakfast was one of the best I have had in a long time. Great value for money.
Nothing to say here really.
the pygmy goats demanding their food was a delightfully added touch to our evening in No.3!
Nothing!
The location was excellent so close to many seaside towns
Nothing to dislike.
It was a lovely little place with a nice look out onto the car park and Beer garden . Everything we needed .
It really was a little home from home. Everything you needed was there
Although it wasn’t close to the things I wanted to do, I could still drive to places
Good room, good price.
.
Great value accommodation in a fantastic location
Nothing
It was more than we expected, the Accommodation was fantastic!
Location. Size of room
The bath oom fan made the loudest screeching noise
Very convenient for my needs lovely setting but sad can do with updating
The hand basin can do with the plughole cleaning it's a health hazard
Really good value for money and good location. My room was spacious and clean. A fan kept the heat at bay. The accommodation worked well for me and my dog.
Nothing really though the immediate outside patio space could do with a sweep this is minor.
The location and it was peaceful.
The bed was uncomfortable, free wifi didn't work and was messy outside.
Good size room and comfortable
Good location for what we wanted to do
Needs updating room smell old
Clean room nice white bed linen and towels. Food very good
Nothing. Rooms are in a car park.
The room was extremely HOT with 2 very small windows that let no air in. When the door was closed it was like a furnace. Extremely bad if you have a medical condition.
Clean and nice room with a little outdoor balcony.
Could have done with another plug point
It was great value for money. Close to where we needed to be. Everything in one place.
Double glass patio door were nice however no window to open if required.
On arrival, The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Any questions or problems were dealt with promptly. As far as our accommodation was concerned it was in very good condition and spotless with plenty of space for all our cases and clothes. Our room, (number 2), was large and extremely comfortable. Food was lovely and plentiful. Drinks were reasonably priced . We will definitely return and intend to book the same room in the future. Many thanks to all.
Really enjoyed ourselves so no negatives at all

All Good
Just like a pub should be. Food was excellent value. Very friendly staff.
All good
Good location for visiting north Norfolk and Sandringham. Also went to Hunstanton and Wells. Pretty little village. Room was ok for size, small annexes at rear of pub. Bed comfortable, good shower. Also caravan spaces there. Couple of goats in the garden and bunnies, which were cute. Beach at Heacham nicer than Snettersham. Did Deer Safari at Snettersham Park which we enjoyed. Didn’t eat at Queen Victoria but went to the Rose and Crown and The Old Store, both very nice although a little more expensive
Slight musty smell in room. Room not checked while we were there - 4 nights - to replenish tea bags, milk, loo rolls etc, had to ask
Quiet mid week stay, big room and bathroom, and nice pub.
Unfortunately the bed mattress wasn't the best comfort wise, but bearable for a night and would stay again.
Restful
Nothing to dislike
Friendly and helpful staff, great location in a lovely village. The room was quiet and peaceful, the shower was good.
The room was quite basic for the price, a small fridge would be good. The food in the pub came out hot, large portions, but the menu was samey.
The food served in the pub was excellent, the staff friendly and obliging.
The room was dark, the bathroom outdated, the bathroom door would not stay closed and we had to leave the door to the outside open for a while to aerate the room as it smelt of damp.
Pleasant cabin with ensuite behind the pub. Quiet at night. Easy check in. Good value for money. Lovely filling evening meal at pub.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Nothing!
Spacious, and a table and chairs outside for a cuppa in the sun
The mattress was super firm . I sometimes prefer something a tad softer after a long day cycling
Breakfast not available
Tea station should have been refilled daily, furniture not to standard.
Good location in a small village, staff friendly, room had everything we needed. Good pub meal for dinner.
Breakfast wasn't available during the week.
Clean room with nice toiletries, Plenty of tea and coffee supplies Liked the little outside seating area, nice and peaceful
Can't think of anything, it was all good
Staff friendliness Our 2 family rooms , with a small outdoor aera for young children to play and 2 tables to use Game board and 2 books for the children were great to have .
We would like to come back and hopefully the loose bricks ,part of the steps outside No1 will be fixed as it was dangerous for little ones.
I liked the area which was ideal for what I needed. A basic room but was well presented and clean.
Noticed no t bags but I had the coffee instead and the shower water pressure needed to be turned up as it was very weak.
Very well-located yet quiet, and a good value comfortable room - appreciated that a fan was provided given the very hot weather!
Although the bedroom is fine, the shower room was disappointing - especially the shower that was clogged and we ended up with water all over.
Clean and adequate room Very nice walkin shower. Could hear the goats(nice) before they went to bed. Good parking Lovely village. Very nice food in pub Oversll decent stay
All ok
Offered a family room
Entrance to the room faced onto a caravan park
It was really lovely
No hair dryer and couldn't seem to find one
Location great , very clean affordable lovley food
Nothing everything great
Lovely location in a charming village.
Na
Breakfast not available during our stay, but this was not a problem. The annex rooms are great as you don't have to go through the pub. They are also great if you have a dog for the same reason. Nice evenig meal & great beer!
The shower curtain was not really fit for purpose & the bathroom floor flooded.
Clean ,all we would like
The room was large, quiet, and comfortable. I liked that it was separate from the main building.
Can't think of anything.
Good location. Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable.
The coffee!
Good location. Private
The mattress was very springy. The bathroom is a bit dated. The emergency exit light is too bright and disturbed my sleep
Nice big room
All good
Fantastic approachable, friendly staff. Great pub with a mix of locals and tourists created a very relaxed atmosphere. A great location in the village and surroundings.
Quiet clean and tidy.all I needed for one night
Location
No hairdryer
The staff were very helpful . The location just what I needed.
Really lovely stay here, they have a great setup, rooms are clean and comfortable
Queen Victoria, grounds and accomodation was immaculately clean and well looked after. Staff were very warm, friendly and very aproachable. Room was very comfortable and quiet breakfast was very tasty, all meals were cooked almost to perfection
Breakfast hours could be longer on days it is provided, main lighting in room 1 flickered regularly so ended up turning it off and using bedside lamps, green emergency lights from signage lit up the room making it tricky to settle / sleep
Locatie. Ruimte in de kamer
Niet perse tegenvaller, maar kamer was gedateerd
Very comfortable accommodation and very welcoming staff even though they were very busy! Improvements to the lovely garden area including new planting plus, a kiddies play area and a pets corner great, lots of outdoor seating!
Could we have a grab rail in the accessible shower please
Spaciousness.Location.

A great place in an excellent location with the best ‘pub grub’ around.
Nothing to dislike about The Queen Victoria.

The WIFI was not working, no-one mentioned this when we checked in so we faffed around for a while before calling someone
The room was great and it was the perfect place to stay with your four legged friend. The food at the pub was delicious. Definitely would recommend the pie night. Great place to stay for a short trip to the beach and some useful shops nearby.
Great location, easy to find and accessible rooms. Plenty of parking. Clean, comfy beds. Tea & hot chocolate facilities available. Plenty of space. Staff were friendly.
Room was extremely basic. Was clean enough for us for one night, but definately needs a good deep clean (especially the bathroom) and a general refresh.
The bed was so comfy and the room was a decent size
The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely, nice little farm bit at the back with goats.
Although not the hotels fault you struggled to get a taxi .
I like staying at the Vic and the fact the rooms are ground level helps
It's very convenient and quite
Location was excellent. In the centre of a lovely village with a good bus service, another pub and excellent cafe, all a short walk away. Shower pressure was really good. Room was at the rear of the pub in a separate annexe.
Bed was a small double which was a bit snug for 2. No shelves to put your stuff in the bathroom (the glass shelf was narrow and didn’t feel very secure)
Friendly staff Comfy beds
Poor WiFi was only negative
It was a one night stop visiting the North Norfolk coast... The location of the hotel was in the lovely village of Snettisham. A village pub with accomadation... Providing food if you wanted to eat in... The room was perfect, cosy and a good price with ample parking... We ordered a Chinese takeaway called The Great Wall in Heacham... Only a short distance away... Thewife was in her element.. They had a separate Gluten Free menu and the food was delicious... The Queen Victoria was well worth the visit and will remember them for the future.
