Que 2 prises électriques pour une chambre de 4 quand on a chacun un téléphone et une montre connectée+ des batteries externes à charger c'est trop peu heureusement nous avions une multiprise. Chambre trop sombre.

C est un hôtel magnifique, bord de mer , légèrement écarté du centre ville , 1.5kms environ mais très bien entouré par des restaurants des tatoos des laundry des loueurs de scooter, ça fait 3 ans que j y retourne et j adore cet hôtel . Cette année ils ont remis des transats neufs c est un plus. Merci a la manager pour son amabilité.

Top locatie, heerlijk rustig gelegen en toch zo in de gezelligheid als je dat wil. De tuin met zwembad aan zee is fantastisch. De bungalow is basic maar alles wat je nodig heb. Ontbijt was uitgebreid en het personeel heel lief en behulpzaam.

Echt tegenvallend was het niet maar de douche was wel een beetje een uitdaging, als je niet uitkeek was de hele badkamer een waterballet. Verder was het bed vrij hard, ik vond dat niet erg mijn man had er een beetje last van.

Haben uns nicht viel erwartet und sind positiv überrascht worden. Hotel sehr alt, sowie die Einrichtung der Zimmer. Die Anlage ist Top.gepflegt und in einem guten Zustand. Hotel sehr ruhig was uns geht gefallen haben. Alles was man benötigt, ist vor der Haustüre, bzw fußläufig erreichbar

Hotelkomplex in die Jahre gekommen, finde jedoch das macht den besonderen Flair aus.

Hyvä sijainti ja mukava allas alue! Elo-syyskuun vaihteessa ei ruuhkaa joten aurinkotuoleja saatavilla kaikille. Mahtava ranta! Rauhallinen sijaini mutta nopea päästä "ytimeen" ystävällinen henkilökunta, siivous toimi päivittäin. Skootterin vuokraus hotellilta oli kätevää.

Vähän kulahtanut ja kaipasi päivitystä, pienellä siivouksella allas alueesta olisi saanut viihtyisämmän. Ravintola/allasbaari hinnat suolaiset ja porukka hakikin omia eväitä altaalle naapuri kaupoista, mutta myöskään henkilökunnalla ei mitään intoa ollut tehdä lisämyyntiä.

Das Aloha Resort ist eines der ersten Resorts am Lamai Beach und wurde bereits 1980/81 eröffnet. Leider merkt man dem Hotel sein Alter deutlich an. Die Zimmer und Möbel sind sehr alt und einfach. In unserem Badezimmer tropfte Wasser von der Decke, und die Decke war stark verschimmelt. Zwar war das Zimmer sauber, aber das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt aus unserer Sicht überhaupt nicht. Der große Pluspunkt ist die hervorragende Lage direkt am schönen Lamai Beach und gleichzeitig in unmittelbarer Nähe zu Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Streetfood. Das Hotel liegt am Anfang von Lamai und ist dadurch angenehm ruhig. Leider fehlt es abends an ausreichender Beleuchtung im Garten und am Pool, der zudem nur bis 19 Uhr genutzt werden darf. Für den Preis gibt es inzwischen viele modernere und besser ausgestattete Hotels.

Was uns besonders gestört hat, war die Situation am Abend. Der Pool ist offiziell nur bis 19 Uhr geöffnet, und danach war der gesamte Garten nahezu vollständig dunkel. Es gab keine Poolbeleuchtung und auch die Gartenbeleuchtung war sehr schwach. Lediglich einige kleine LED-Leuchten gingen beim Vorbeigehen an, sorgten aber kaum für ausreichend Licht. Dadurch kam am Abend leider überhaupt keine gemütliche oder angenehme Abendstimmung auf. Auch die Möbel und die Ausstattung der Zimmer wirken sehr alt und teilweise wie aus der ursprünglichen Einrichtung des Hotels. Insgesamt fehlt es dem Resort deutlich an Modernisierung. Aufgrund des Zustands der Zimmer und der Ausstattung finden wir das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis daher nicht angemessen. Dabei hat das Resort aufgrund seiner wunderschönen Lage direkt am Lamai Beach und der schönen Gartenanlage sehr viel Potenzial. Mit modernen Möbeln, renovierten Zimmern und einer stimmungsvollen Beleuchtung, die abends eine gemütliche Atmosphäre im Garten schafft, könnte man aus diesem Hotel sicherlich sehr viel machen.

Incredible location right on the beach. Lovely pool area and a short walk to bars and restaurants. Staff worked well to relocate us into a suitable room after there has been a mess up over the booking.

Very tired and run down. The rooms are ok but the bathrooms are really poor. Lots of broken tiles, no hot water in the shower and lots of ant trails. The AC worked ok but wasn’t great. If you are expecting high end accommodation, this is not the place for you.

La ubicación es inmejorable, en frente de las mejores playas de la zona, con poca gente.

El hotel está sin reformar desde hace años, no hay ni enchufes en las paredes, las puertas no cierran bien, el desayuno regular. Al estar tan "viejo" es dificil mantener la limpieza.

Dopo 15 anni siamo tornati allo stesso hotel, che si è pienamente riconfermato come ottimo. Abbiamo girato l'isola, ma la spiaggia difronte al resort si riconferma la migliore. Resort curato e pulito, personale come sempre gentilissimo e disponibile. Consigliatissimo

Läget var bra, lugnt men ändå nära restauranger. Fin strand. Sköna sängar. Frukost ok.

Väldigt slitet, dålig belysning generellt, svajigt wifi, att det finns roomservice är omöjligt om du inte använder din egen telefon. Restaurangen 1 st endast öppen dagtid. Omöjligt att nå receptionen om något är fel utan att gå dit själv och nattetid syns ingen i receptionen till eller svarade i telefonen. Ingen hiss så tre trappor upp med resväska är inte så roligt. Personalen upplevs inte så engagerad. För de pengar de tar för en natt borde det vara bättre överlag.

Etwas in die Jahre gekommen an den Zimmer müsste bald etwas gemacht werden. Frühstück sehr wenig Auswahl und es wird kaum nachgelegt.

De medewerkers waren erg behulpzaam en de algemene ruimtes, zoals receptie, restaurant, tuin, zwembad, etc., zijn schoon en mooi. Ook de ligging direct aan het strand is erg fijn.

De inrichting van de hotelkamers is gedateerd en ook de badkamer kan een ‘upgrade’ gebruiken, maar de bedden zijn goed (liggen zacht).

Der Strand ist wenige Meter entfernt. Es gibt einen Pool und viele Liegen. Die Aussicht ist traumhaft.

Ich kann mich vielen anderen anschließen: die Zimmer sind alt und brauchen grundsätzlich eine ordentliche Renovierung. Für eine Nacht war es ok, aber mehrere Tage fände ich schwierig. Es ist einfach ein altes Hotel und ich empfand es teilweise etwas schmuddelig.

L’Aloha Resort bénéficie d’un emplacement vraiment magnifique, directement au bord de la plage, dans un environnement calme et agréable. C’est un hôtel familial, à taille humaine, qui pourrait vraiment être une superbe adresse à Koh Samui.

Pour deux nuits, cela reste correct, surtout pour profiter de l’emplacement et du calme. Mais il est vraiment dommage de voir que l’hôtel semble être resté dans son jus depuis les années 1980 et que les propriétaires n’aient pas davantage investi dans sa rénovation. Installations électriques qui semblent avoir été réparées à plusieurs reprises, problèmes de plomberie, peinture très vieillissante, mobilier d’une autre époque… La piscine elle-même montre des signes importants de vieillissement, avec des carreaux manquants ou décollés. Et c’est justement ce qui est dommage : le site a tout pour être au top. Un bel emplacement, un environnement paisible, un côté familial et un magnifique potentiel. On imagine ce que l’établissement devait être à son meilleur niveau à la fin des années 1980. Avec une rénovation complète, tout en conservant son esprit familial et son charme, cet hôtel pourrait véritablement redevenir une très belle adresse. En résumé : correct pour un court séjour, notamment pour son calme, son côté familial et son emplacement, mais vraiment dommage de laisser un si beau site se dégrader. Il pourrait être au top avec les investissements nécessaires.

Excellent location and good value for money

The property could do with a refresh - bedrooms, sun loungers and the pool area.

L’emplacement sur la plage de Lamai est top. A cet endroit la plage est belle et très peu fréquentée en plein mois d’août. Avec voiture cela permet d’être proche de tous les points stratégiques à visiter. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est exceptionnel un large choix entre sucré et salé. Le personnel est très sympathique et le parking même petit est pratique. La chambre est propre même si ça reste un peu dans son jus. Proposition sur place pour des excursions à des prix compétitifs On appréhendait un peu au vu des commentaires négatifs mais franchement très bonne surprise!

Das Hotel hat nicht einmal im Ansatz eine Vorstellung was eine Executive Suite ist. Heruntergekommene, abgewohnte Räume, Türen verzogen und klemmen, sehr hellhörig, 2 Toilette und Dusche ohne Ausstattung, keine Handtücher und keine Kosmetiktücher, Bauarbeiten, selbst das Personal macht sich über den Service und den Zustand der Anlage lustig.

De locatie vonden wij geweldig. Aan het strand en allemaal winkeltjes en nightmarket op loopafstand. Aan het strand vind je verschillende restaurants. Je eet letterlijk met je voeten in het zand, heerlijk vonden wij!

De kamers zijn verouderd. Onze airco was stuk. Dit hebben ze wel verholpen. We kregen 1 nachtje een andere kamer en de volgende dag was de airco gemaakt en deed hij het zonder problemen.

Le seul point positif de cet hôtel est l’emplacement à lamai avec accès direct à la plage …

L’établissement est extrêmement vieillissant et sale . Rien n’est entretenu. Nous avons été d’abord dans un bungalow, les équipements de la douche sont rouillés, sales…. Dans la chambre il y a des taches au sol … le matelas est mou, le frigo était aussi rouillé … et nous avons passé une nuit horrible avec des grenouilles qui ont croassé toute la nuit. Du coup ils nous ont déplacé dans une chambre en étage, un peu mieux que le bungalow mais l’entretien est vraiment le gros problème de cet hôtel. Le petit déjeuner est très bas de gamme, les nappes sont tachées, les fauteuils sont vieux et sales …Nous avions réservé 4 nuits et nous sommes partis un jour avant… je pense que cet hôtel joue sur son emplacement à lamai et la demande importante sur Koh samui, et du coup ne fait aucun effort pour l’entretien et la propreté et le bien être de ses clients.

The beach area is beautiful and was not crowded during our stay. Everyone had an amazing time. The view was great, and the room was quiet, the bed super comfy making it a wonderful place to relax. Breakfast was simple but ok.

The bathroom shower had very low water pressure, so we used the bathtub shower instead. During heavy rain, our room (entrance area) and the corridor ceiling leaked. It was not a major issue for us, but it should be repaired.

Zeer vriendelijk personeel, authentieke lobby. Mooie grote goed onderhouden tuin, heerlijk zwembad, direct aan het strand. Fijne locatie, buiten de drukte van bars van Lamai, wel op loopafstand. In de straat zitten genoeg restaurants. Ook via het strand zijn er genoeg leuke restaurantjes, zowel Noordwaarts als zuidwaarts.

Wij verbleven in de bungalows. Erg leuk en je loopt zo naar het zwembad. Echter kunnen deze wel een flinke renovatie gebruiken. Met name de badkamer, want binnen een minuut was het één groot waterballet zodra je de douche aanzette. En erg gedateerd. Het houten hoofd board van het bed zag er authentiek uit, de stof eronder zou eigenlijk wel eens goed schoongemaakt mogen worden of opnieuw laten stofferen. Eventueel wat extra kussens zodat je niet snel met je hoofd ertegenaan zit. De televisie stond er slechts voor de sier, want er zat geen enkele zender op.

Les équipements de la chambre étaient extrêmement vieux voir défectueux. Il n’y a même pas de pommeau de douche, la cuvette des toilettes ne tiens pas, le lit n’est pas confortable, le nettoyage n’est que très superficielle et les draps ne sont pas propres. Il y a des fourmis et des puces partout dans la chambre donc fermez bien vos valises.

Aloha zit op een leuke plek in Lamai. Het heeft een mooi zwembad en ligbedjes uitkijkend op strand en zee. Het ligt in een rustig deel met het drukke deel van Lamai op loopafstand. De kamers worden iedere dag schoongemaakt. De medewerkers zijn erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Bij het zwembad kun je handdoeken pakken. Er is een pool barretje waar je drankjes kunt kopen en natuurlijk is er een Thaise massage. In de directe omgeving zijn leuke restaurantjes, ook voor ontbijt. De 7/11 is vlakbij. Je kunt om de hoek deelnemen aan Muay Thai lessen.

De hotelkamers zijn erg verouderd. Elektriciteitsdraden zitten vast met een tape en tijdens ons verblijf viel de electra twee keer uit, waarvan een keer voor lange tijd. Het hoort er ook wel een beetje bij, maar een hele middag, nacht en ochtend zonder licht, airco en warm water was niet praktisch. We hadden geboekt zonder ontbijt, hebben dat een dag wel gedaan ivm excursie. Dat was niet zo bijzonder. Het ontbijt bij Hub of I-sky om de hoek is lekkerder.

The staff at the resort were very sweet and welcoming. The resort had really lovely communal areas, with plants, a koi pond and plenty of seating. The pool area was lovely, with lots of lounges to go around and towels provided. The hotel has direct access to Lamai beach, which is a beautiful beach and great for swimming. I had a lovely massage right on the beach which the resort offers at great value. My room was incrediblely clean and staff cleaned and restocked each day. I particularly liked the bathroom, it had lovely orange tiles and wonderful to have a bath. The bed was so comfortable and the bed linen was super soft. Breakfast was in a lovely setting near the pool and beach. The friendly chef at the omelette station was a highlight, he was so cheerful and made eggs however you liked. The area around the resort has lots of restaurants and shops.

Unfortunately the air conditioning was incredibly loud and so was the mini fridge. This was disrupting for sleep and peace which was a shame. The breakfast room was quite warm, they could benefit from a couple of extra fans. Although I loved the omelette station, breakfast was the same each day, some variation would be great for those staying longer. I booked an airport transfer through the resort and it was expensive.

We had 48 hours without electricity on the hotel. Meaning no AC, lights, fridge , ability to charge phones. We had to leave 3 days early and got no refund for those days. What annoyes me the most is that as soon as there where issues Managament completely dissapered. Leasing all the angry guests to the staff.

Did not get the room that was booked because resort was "full" but were "upgraded" to family room which was very dark and tucked away. Room was clean but aged.

Les chambres sont vraiment TRES vieilles. Nous avons dû déplacer le lit de notre fille. Résultat un tas de poussière et de déchets sous le lit.

L’hôtel est bien situé à Lamai. Tout est possible à pieds.

L’hôtel demande un peu de rafraîchissement ainsi que les abords plages / piscine(transats) . Mais dans l’ensemble c’est correct et le personnel est là pour vous rajouter des transats si nécessaire. Nous avions réservé 2 chambres mais l’une avait la Clim HS et nous avons dû attendre le lendemain matin pour demander l’intervention de quelqu’un car il n’y avait personne à l’accueil alors que c’est théoriquement 24h/24. Au final et malgré l’intervention du personnel ils nous ont changé de chambre. Le petit dej est moyen par rapport à d’autres hôtels de la même gamme de prix. Peu de choix.

Vi havde to børn på 13 og 16 med og fik værelser på hver vores etage. Sengene var alt for hårde, værelserne var meget slidte. Morgenmaden var kedelig. Nogle stikkontakter virkede ikke og der var ikke så mange i forvejen

Dobra lokalizacja, bezpośrednio przy ładnej, piaszczystej plaży. Piękny widok na ocean. Blisko do sklepów i restauracji. Basen w porządku, dobry dla dzieci. Zadbana zieleń i ładne lobby. Personel uczynny. Śniadanie może być. Czysta pościel. Ręczniki plażowe. Pokoje spore, wyposażone w lodówkę, czajnik i filiżanki.

Łazienki przygnębiające. Pokoje i łazienki posprzątane, ale nie czyste. Niezabezpieczone kable, uszkodzony czajnik (naderwany kabel i urwana pokrywka, która spada na rękę przy wlewaniu wrzątku). Brak sejfu w pokoju.

Very good

Very friendly staff. The location is perfect for couples looking for a peaceful stay within a short walk of where the night life is. The setting is right on the beach where it is not busy at all with warm water to swim in.

La colazione molto scarsa, pochi dolci e poca scelta. Economica e con pietanze poco internazionali

Месторасположение отеля. Первая линия, замечательный пляж и море. Тихое место. Хорошие завтраки с шикарным видом. Рядом улица с барами и ресторанами, но т.к. отель находится в самом начале этой улицы, музыка и шум толпы не слышны. Отель выполнен в тайском стиле, с различными аксессуарами в лобби. Отель рекомендую!

Номерной фонд уже немного уставший, матрасы на некоторых кроватях стоит заменить. В номере обнаружили муравьёв. Одна розетка на большой семейный номер, что очень удивило.

Hotellet behöver rustas upp men är absolut funktionellt och i sin prisklass inte dåligt.

the location is excellent. the access to the pool and beach is immediate and water is super clean and not rocky at all. sand is soft. the staff at the reception was very sweet.

the staff at the breakfast room was cold and not very welcoming looking. looked and felt aloof. a bit too aggressive and impatient about getting the bill signed if i bought something. as if I was going to run away without paying. uninteresting breakfast. mostly not tasty. coffee was terrible. it wasn't filter coffee. made me pay for americano filter coffee. no fresh juice. all canned. i mostly skipped breakfast at the hotel even though it was free. I ate out. I love my breakfasts.

Mi e piaciuta la zona piscina con lettini che potevi ammirare il mare, spiaggia con acqua pulita.

La struttura ha bisogno di essere rinnovata completamente dentro, tutto vecchio, la camera non corrispondeva come descritto, praticamente zero luce, incantonata tra due edifici, vista muro, per cambiarla mi hanno chiesto 500 bath a notte.Biancheria dei letti con buchi, grigia, mai cambiata nei 6 notti consecutive. Sconsiglio soggiornare. Luogo bello fuori ma triste.

Absolutely gorgeous location..right on the beach with spectacular sea views and right beside all the action on Lamai's main strip for shops and restaurants. (But at the quiet end of Lamai so no noise at night)

The bathrooms were a bit old and tired but very clean

The property was so close to the beach, a great pool, wonderful beach front and very clean and beautiful. The beds were comfy and the air con was cold and a quiet bungalow that was very spacious. Breakfast was delicious.

Nur eine Steckdose im Zimmer. Im Bad muffelt es und an Decke war Schimmel. Zimmer sehr alt und sehr renovierungsbedürftig.

The pool and the sea area was amazing. The pool is really spacious and the garden is so beautiful, like in a movie.

Unfortunately there was a lot of issues we came across at this resort. Other than the garden and pool areas it was atrocious. The first room we were given the sheets were dirty. We were then watching the TV and a cockroach ran out behind the table. We killed it and hoped that was the only one. However it was not. A second one came out as well and we lost that one so we were not going to sleep in that room. We are very thankful to Daniel as he gave us a new room. We came into the new room very happy in hopes everything works out now. We did not have a TV in this one but we agreed that it's fine as long as we are away from the bugs. In this room the AC was broken so we were melting. It was so so hot and we couldn't sleep all night. To top it off another cockroach showed up in the new room. We killed it and didn't bother complaining again. We did complain about the AC and they said someone would fix it however even after that it was not working properly so we went to ask for a fan or something to replace the AC. Daniel once again was really helpful and gave us a fan. This wasn't good enough but it was better than no AC. Continuing on, I also want to mention that the bathroom smelled SO BAD. We could not even go inside from the smell. I assume it's the sewage or something because it was absolutely DISGUSTING. We didn't complain about this as we felt annoying at this point but overall the room experience was awful. Also there is no lift :). Daniel really tried his best to accommodate us and we really appreciate it but the owners of the hotel need to work on the inside because it is awful compared to the outside.

Beautifully situated right on the beach.

The restaurant closes at 3 and I was unable to buy any water at reception at 9pm. I had to go out of the hotel to 7-11 across the road to get some.

The poolarea is nice. In may we had plenty of space and sunbeds because the tourism is low at that point. Staff was very nice and helped in anyway possible.

1. No restaurant for lunch og dinner. No fruitshakes or icecream for the kids at all on resort. 2. Beds are hard as a rock. 3. Breakfast was bad. The fruit was worm from sitting out in the heat too long. The pancakes was dry and made from a boxblend, not from a good batter. 4. Frogs outside of the bungalows going at it all night. Eventhough it’s one of the lower price ranged hotels, (and 2 stars) you do not het value for your money.

Great location, right on the beach, beautiful pool and surrounding area. Plenty of sunbeds, shade and pool bar. Lovely staff, always on hand and friendly. Our room was spacious, clean and had a nice view of the pool area and the sea, just a few steps away. Close to shops and restaurants We extended our stay as it was so lovely

L'emplacement L’hôtel devait être magnifique il y a 20 ans. Aujourd’hui, il a clairement besoin d’une rénovation complète. Le personnel était sympathique, mais le prix ne devrait pas dépasser 30 € la nuit vu l’état actuel de l’établissement. L’hôtel a un énorme potentiel, mais les chambres sont insalubres et vétustes. L’électricité a coupé pendant la nuit, sans aucun moyen de contacter quelqu’un car il n’y avait personne à la réception. De plus, il n’y a même pas de prise électrique proche du lit, ce qui est très peu pratique.j'ai changer d'hôtel la dernière nuit car s'étais vraiment trop pour moi

Super tolle Lage.Der Strand ist der Hammer. Es sind alle Geschäfte und Bars in direkter Nähe. Auch ein Arzt ist in 3 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Wenn Mann länger bleibt sollte man kein Frühstück mit buchen,sondern lieber im Ort essen. Für drei Tage passt es ,wird dann aber etwas eintönig.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Hidden Gem at Lamai Beach – Authentic Thai Charm & Amazing Staff! Zora and I are from Germany! We spent a wonderful vacation stay at the Aloha Resort and honestly enjoyed it far more than expected. Yes, the hotel is over 45 years old, and you can definitely see that parts of the property are already renovated while other areas could use some modernization — but that’s also part of its authentic charm and character. Some of the bathrooms need an upgrade, but anyway they are clean and functional. What truly makes this place special is the atmosphere and the people. The entire resort area is beautifully maintained, with lush tropical gardens and a very clean, inviting pool area that feels like a little oasis. The location is absolutely fantastic — directly at Lamai Beach with stunning ocean views and only a few steps from the warmest sea water imaginable. In May 2026, the ocean literally felt like bathtub temperature! Another huge plus: despite traveling during the rainy season, we had almost no rain at all and enjoyed plenty of sunshine and beautiful beach days. The staff deserves special recognition. Everyone at the reception was incredibly warm, welcoming and always helpful with a genuine smile. Thai hospitality at its best. Breakfast itself is simple and not the biggest highlight of the hotel, but definitely sufficient and fresh enough to start the day well. However, the absolute star of the breakfast area is the chef preparing omelettes and egg dishes live every morning. He is always smiling, super friendly, incredibly motivated and simply spreads good vibes from early morning on. His delicious omelettes became one of our daily highlights!

Old hotel. The hotel has charm, but it needs updating - electricity in room is dangerous ( loose wires). Toilet beachfront is never cleaned.

Hotel położony w spokojniejszej części Lamai, a jednocześnie blisko restauracji i sklepów . Bardzo miła i pomocna obsługa, natomiast sam obiekt jest już trochę zużyty, a klimatyzacja działała średnio. Mimo to pobyt oceniam pozytywnie i chętnie wróciłabym ponownie.

Location was great. A 5 minute walk from the main area but the beach was clean and quiet with plenty of restaurants and coffee shops just outside the door. Pool overlooking the beach was lovely.

You could tell the resort would have been amazing in its day; but it is getting worn and tired. Our room was beautiful and clean; however; the air conditioner stopped working. Maintenance were very prompt with attending but other parts of the unit were also showing its age; including the balcony door which fell out. Once again; staff were great in getting it fixed promptly.

L'emplacement est idéal. A proximité des commerces et nombreux restaurant. La plage de lamay est magnifique. La piscine de l’hotel au top vue sur la mer. Très bon rapport qualité prix.

L’hotel devait etre parfait il y a quelque annee. Il demanderait quelques petits rafraîchissement. Il y avait certainement un restaurant a l'époque mais désormais fermé.
