Good spot.Nice location.

TV had only limited channels working.Not even TV1 or 3. Had to open bathroom windows when showering to prevent fire alarm going off. People outside could hear everything.

Netter Aufenthaltsraum mit Pooltisch. Rezeption nicht durchgehend besetzt (im Winter kaum Betrieb also in Ordnung), aber telefonisch erreichbar. Parkplatz genügend vorhanden.

Alles in Ordnung.

Clean, tidy and good location

Nice and clean. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. Shower had excellent pressure. The view from our room of the sea was really nice with the sound of the sea. Would definitely stay again.

Location, comfortable room.

A bugga we struggled to park the boat on site as no way we could have safely, and had asked about it before arrival. As it was off site down the road didn't help our sleep as concerned re theft or vandalism. We've stayed before and love to stay again, but if we bring the boat, as we usually do, will have to look elsewhere (sorry)

Great motel and the room was fabulous. We had a ground floor room, close to the carpark and easy to access. Huge room and great bathroom, which had underfloor heating, not that it was very cold during our stay. Motel is within 20 min walk to the centre of town, flat footpath and good for exercise. Quiet location with the room at back of the hotel. We had two nights and the room is ideal for a longer stay.

Nothing in particular, however, the laundry was not operating, so we had to find a laundromat in town.

The water pressure in the shower, the room was a good size.

That there was a sign to leave the window open when in the shower so the alarm didn't go off. I felt a bit exposed with people coming down the stairs outside the window.

Nice place to stay

Lovely, large and sunny room, (pretty much) overlooking the sea. Big and comfortable bed. Right on the main road, handy to everything. Very friendly reception and checkout. A very nice experience all round.

This property loses half a point for the single ply toilet paper, which nobody wants in their motel room. But it is the only real disappointment.

This place is amazing, definitely would go back again and recommend to others. 5*

The room was very good value the bed omg so so comfortable we really loved our 2 nights there over Easter

Nous étions dans le logement au rez-de-chaussée pour personnes à mobilité réduite, logement était agréable et spacieux. Peut-être un petit peu de condensation tout de même donc peut-être pour revoir les aération. Sinon tout était parfait.

We were booked in for 2 nights. When we got to our room, it was, dark and dingy. The bathroom light was broken, the bed was really uncomfortable, there may have been better suites than ours but I felt having the word "quality" in the title was grossly over selling the property. Needless to say after one very uncomfortable night we hightailed it out of there and found a better place to stay for our 2nd night in kaikoura.

Firstly it cost me around 250 a night for my stay when I looked online for the same dates and same room it was only 200 per night? Is that booking. Com raising the price? I found the room needed an upgrade and not particularly clean. Value for money very poor. I would not recommend it but would advise friends not to stay there

Although the rooms were very modern the sound insulation was poor so could hear the guests in the adjacent rooms!

Well presented rooms, comfortable beds. Bathroom floor heating was a bonus.

The shower positioning wasn't great, the way it is facing and the protective glass is on the wrong side, because the shower pressure was extremely hard, water went everywhere, all over floor and out the door if left open. And having to leave the window open because ventilation wasn't great and would set off the fire alarm was a bit invasive.

A lovely motel very clean and well equipped. We only stayed one night here but would have loved to stay longer.

For location and value for money it suited us perfectly. Well appointed and easy driving distance to local amenities. Staff support was fantastic particularly with parking for car and trailer.

The location was excellent with easy walking access to shops. The room was exceptionally quiet and we loved the sea view.

De locatie was goed en de kamer is ruim.

We zijn van de goede reviews uitgegaan toen we dit boekte, maar het viel helaas tegen. Toen we de kamersleutel kregen en de kamer binnen kwamen lagen er meerdere haren op de lakens en de kussens. Overal lag zand en stof omdat de kamerdeur had open gestaan. Toen we hier iets van zeiden hebben we een nieuwe kamer gekregen. Dat was in ieder geval snel opgelost. In de nieuwe kamer gelukkig geen haren, maar wel heel veel stof en schimmel in de douche. De dag dat we aankwamen was het heel warm. Ik had zelf niet gekeken of er airco aanwezig was in de kamer toen ik het boekte, maar door de prijs van de kamer ga je er eigenlijk vanuit dat dit aanwezig zou zijn. Door de warmte hebben we bijna niet geslapen. We hadden wel een ventilator, maar dat hielp niet voldoende. Daarnaast hadden alle ramen jaloezieën waardoor er veel licht door naar binnen kwam en je hier al vrij vroeg door wakker gemaakt wordt. Al met al helaas niet wat we ervan hadden gehoopt.

Location was great as was lady on reception. Very helpful enabled us to store our luggage in the garage and gave us recommendations for where to eat etc although there are loads of places in town. Walking distance to train station along beach path (20 mins) and beyond that into town (25 mins). Disappointed not to see the whales due to weather but hired E bikes and cycled to seal colony beyond the town. Fantastic scenery. Ate crayfish fritter from pop up bbq van, amazing!

1 night in very small, dark,dated room moved to a lovely bright large and greatly equipped room for 2 more nights. Lovely and clean and very comfy beds ,and a super friendly and helpful lady at the front desk , nothing was too much trouble. A little far out of centre but ok with a car , definitely would stay again.

Would have liked to walk to centre with bars, restaurants etc little too far. Good breakfast places in 10 mins walk but nothing decent for dinner had to drive .

Good quiet location 10mins from town but near Supermarket garage and hunting and fishing shop!
