Un posto meraviglioso immerso in una natura incredibile con piscina area massaggi e area meditazione e yoga.

Restaurant food was bland. And beds could use an upgrade

Personeel is zo ontzettend aardig en behulpzaam, echt top. Het resort ligt op een prachtige lokatie op paar autominuten van het centrum van Mae Hong Son, en is schitterend aangelegd met paadjes en watertjes tussen de natte rijstvelden en vegetatie. Plus is ook de mooie infinity pool. Ontbijt met aantal warme gerechten en egg station, maar verder vrij basic (alleen geroosterd brood en 1 of 2 soorten fruit), echter voldoende.

De huisjes, althans de deluxe huisjes in het centrale deel van het resort zijn vrij gedateerd en hadden allang een update nodig. Of in ieder geval goede schoonmaakbeurt en onderhoud. Vieze airco, spinnenwebben, steenharde bedden waar je de veren doorrheen voelde, en muren die jaren geleden al een likje verf nodig hadden en een douche met smoezelig loshangend douchegordijn. Ons tweepersoonsbed wiebelde door een afgebroken wiel en lag een boek onder. Wij hebben echt geen te hoge verwachtingen op dit soort bestemmingen maar vinden het vooral zonde, want met een beetje TLC zou de ervaring echt top zijn.

Mooie locatie in prachtige rijstvelden. Eén van de zwembaden is heel mooi. Ruime kamer. Best okee restaurant (geen westerse gerechten).

Het is best een stuk buiten de stad en de shuttle heeft niet echt handige tijden, dus eigen vervoer is eigenlijk wel nodig. Ontbijt niet indrukwekkend.

Very nice Resort and very big. Usually we stay in smaller and calmer places, but it was a nice stay. Breakfast is good and the staff at the reception are very nice. Very welcoming. It's also nice build in the nature, it's a nice vibe!

Peut etre la salle de bain qui est un peu quelconque, mais pas génant du tout pour le séjour.

Le lieu est magnifique et irréel ! Nous avons passé un séjour magique et nous recommandons l’hôtel. Tout le personnel était adorable et a vraiment contribué à notre séjour. Les navettes jusqu’au centre ville étaient un vrai plus ! Merci beaucoup à l’équipe pour leur travail.

L nourriture du restaurant ne nous a pas vraiment plus.

המיקום רחוק קצת מהעיירה, נסיעה של כמה דקות, מיטות קצת קשות, זרם מים חלש. לא היה שמפו נורמלי במקלחת. המון חרקים למי שמפריע, כמובן שהגיוני כי זה מאוד בטבע.

Mooi resort omringd door palmbomen, rijstvelden en met heerlijke zwembaden. Huisjes zijn ruim en schoon en zeer vriendelijk personeel.

Muggenspray is nodig om niet geprikt te worden.

Zeer ruim hotel in een prachtige omgeving

Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été impressionnés par la beauté du lieu. Les bungalows sont équipés de ce qui est nécessaire et surtout sont totalement intégrés dans le paysage grâce aux matériaux naturels utilisés. Le resort est au milieu de rizières et permet d'admirer les fleurs, les insectes et les oiseaux. Un lieu propice à la contemplation. Il y a deux très belles piscines. Les équipes sont très professionnelles et accueillantes. Nous avobs adoré notre séjour.

A first world problem... but shower pressure if I was to be picky..

Prachtig plek met heel mooie tuinen. Resort heeft een nieuw en een oud deel en het oude deel is echt wel wat gedateerd. Zou wat opgeknapt moeten worden. Prijs kwaliteit klopt nu niet helemaal. Het nieuwe zwembad is heel mooi. Personeel is super vriendelijk.

Huisjes kunnen wel een opknapbeurt gebruiken.

Le calme, la tranquillité, le lieu paisible avec une piscine à débordement donnant sur les rizières... Personnel très acceuillant et chaleureux. Nos enfants ont particulièrement apprécié l’initiation à la plantation de riz, un super moment de partage.

Dommage que l'hôtel soit dans l'ensemble un peu vieillissant, il manquerait quelques touches de rafraîchissement sur les espaces communs. Salles de bain dans nos 2 logements qui demandent qu'à être rénover assez rapidement...

An amazing peaceful jungle oasis that felt super relaxing. The breakfast and dinner were amazing and there were heaps of friendly dogs around the place. The staff were happy and friendly and really made us feel at home.

The bed was rock hard. The lunch was pretty average. If we wanted drinks during the day we had to go to the lower pool as the top one was closed (but it was low season so that's understandable) all very minor issues though that didn't effect our enjoyment.

De fantastische ligging midden in de rust en natuur! Je kiest hier voor minder toeristen, minder activiteiten maar om echt te genieten van natuurpracht en heerlijk fijne mensen. Dat wil ook zeggen insecten in h et huisje en nacht vol jungle geluiden: bijzonder! Heel warm thuisgevoel en genieten in het prachtige zwembad met zelfs een cocktail erbij, we werden echt verwend door het personeel dat minder om handen had omdat het zo rustig was. Mae Hong Son zelf heeft mooie tempels die we niet kunnen bezoeken hebben en een vredig meertje maar valt niet veel te beleven. De jungle wandeling die start in het resort is een voltreffer! Vergeet wel je muggenspray niet.

De huisjes kunnen wel een opfrisbeurt genieten maar omdat het resort zo zalig was hebben we ons daar niet aan gestoord.

This was my first stay, and I was genuinely amazed. The property is incredible, especially during the rainy season, with jungle surroundings and rice paddies directly in front of the rooms. We were upgraded to a higher room category, which was wonderful. The newly renovated swimming pool and lovely poolside bar offer outstanding views. The service is excellent, with friendly and helpful staff. I would definitely recommend this property and return. Apparently, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have stayed here as well.

Nothing to dislike

The beauty of the place, green, flowers and butterflies everywhere. Clean and well equipped. The staff is so attentive and kind.

Wat accommodatie 🤩

Très bel hôtel dans la nature. Très reposant avec une piscine à débordement magnifique qui donne sur un jardin en bord de rizière et des champs de fleurs et de papillons... Petit déjeuner copieux et personnel très sympathique. Navette très pratique pour aller dans la ville plusieurs fois par jour. Nous devions partir très tôt pour prendre notre navette pour Chiang Mai et ils se sont levés à l'aube pour nous préparer le petit déjeuner (beignets de bananes, café, thé, fruits...) et nous déposer à la gare avant 7h00. Nous recommandons cet établissement.

La décoration des chambres est un peu vieillote (tables de nuit usées...). Cela mériterait un raffraichissement ainsi que pour les équipements de la salle de bain et des sanitaires.

Le cadre, la nature, la gentillesse du personnel aux petits soins, la proximité à pied avec un trek de 2 ou 4h

Le massage (un peu douloureux), la literie un peu dure

Een paradijs op aarde <3 We zouden hier 1 nacht verblijven, maar hebben er direct nog een nacht bij geboekt. Wat een natuur! Super mooi onderhouden tuinen, rijstvelden. Overal vlinders en echt de jungle feeling. Huisje netjes wel verouderd maar zeker perfect. En het personeel allemaal super lief en hartelijk

A beautiful hotel, truly a paradise in nature. The bedroom was spacious and lovely. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was very good, and the dinner was excellent.

The shower is outdated and not very comfortable, but it did not affect the overall positive experience.

It’s Integration in the natural Environment

Piscina y exteriores muy bonitos y cuidados. Muy relajante y hace que no tengas ganas de salir de allí. La habitación se nota que ya tiene unos años (sobre todo el baño), pero era muy bonita (parece que duermas en medio de la selva, ya que estás rodeado de vegetación por todas las ventanas) con cama cómoda y nada dura. Lo recomendamos

Authentic to the core. Staff were so hospitable and genuine that after a week in paradise it was like saying goodbye to friends. The grounds were beautifully maintained. The infinity pool was refreshing with spectacular views. We didn’t even wander over to the other salt water pool but it too was beautiful. Just want to make extra mention to the delightful staff (especially the manager Som) they were honestly a highlight….genuine heartfelt hospitality 🥰

Velmi přátelský a profesionální personál. Resort jako jedna nádherná botanická zahrada. Vzrostlé listnaté stromy a bezpočet rostlin. Dva plavecké bazény. Protékající potůček. Nádherné vodopády v okolí resortu. Neskutečný duch místa. Klobouk dolů před ludmi, kteří tento úchvatný prostor vybudovali.

The resort sports a very unique charm. It is set in beautiful lush gardens that resemble a setting out of the rice terraces north of Ubud (Bali). The infinity pool and the yoga room invite for relaxation and the massage therapist knows her healing practice. Next to the restaurant a lovely, moderate hiking trail begins. Do not underestimate it! The rumble of the flowing river is soothing for the soul. I loved the elderly charm of the premises, the extremely attentive staff and the delicious food.

We were lucky to find the resort almost empty, we had the beautiful pool to ourselves and the resort is incredibly well taken care of. It’s more beautiful than the pictures! Staff is lovely and attentive.

The bathroom, like the one in my own house, needs to be updated.

Forestry resort surrounded by bushes and tall trees. Very different experience staying inside a natural forest seeing greenery, mountains and listening to sounds of different insects in the night.

Not convenient going to town as need to call taxi or self-drive.

For the price this is truly a wonderful property. The setting is perfect. The rooms are comfortable . The public areas are very pleasant and the staff are very helpful.

Obviously a vehicle is essential since it is some way out of town. Food quality could be upgraded.

При выборе отеля стоял выбор: или в самом городе Mae Hong Son ("приятных" отелей не нашел) или отель немного "за городом", но "красивый". Отель находится в 5 км. от центра города (за городом) и действительно красивый. Вся территория очень зеленая, много деревьев, большая. Есть 2 бассейна, своя спа-зона с массажем. Рядом с отелем ничего нет, но это не является минусом. В ресторане отеля можно купить ужин по меню, а в кафе - выпить кофе или коктейль. В этот день у меня был день рождения и сотрудники отеля поздравили меня - на ужин принесли сладкое блюдо и свечку, спели забавную песню. На ресепшен стоят фото Анджелины Джоли и Брэда Питта, которые когда-то останавливались в этом отеле.. По зеленой территории отеля, в джунглях, разбросаны домики-номера. Номер большой, в колониальном стиле, "в дереве". Завтрак вкусный и обильный. Отель понравился.

Everything and everyone! It’s a great place to relax, enjoy nature, have a good swim and a nice hike. The banana soap is so cool.

Mooi domein, gezellige huisjes met veel privacy. Ontbijt vrij basic. Goede service wat betreft vervoer naar centrum. Diner is ook lekker. Wel vrij basic. Een upgrade zou het nog waardevoller maken. Maar zeker best tevreden

La piscine, le parc en pleine nature.

Das Fern Resort ist außerhalb von Mae Hong Son, aber mit dem Mietwagen war es kein Problem. Man kann in der Anlage auch wunderbar zu Abend essen. Wir hatten eine Suite gebucht mit einem schönen Sitzplatz vor dem Bungalow. Es gab Mückenschutzgitter an den Fenstern, jedoch waren wir überrascht, dass es Anfang Februar keine Mücken gab. Die Anlage ist sehr weitläufig und man fühlte sich wie im Dschungel.

Unschön war, dass es aus dem Gulli in der Dusche unangenehm gerochen hat, aber wenn man die Türe zum Schlafraum geschlossen hält, war es kein Problem.

Ligging top ! Heel mooi ! Uitzicht zwembad is prachtig. Charmante bungalow maar wel wat verouderd. Badkamer heeft renovatie nodig, vriendelijke mensen. Restaurant is ook ok. Het zou allemaal beetje upgrade moeten krijgen dan zou het nog veel beter zijn, heel veel potentieel. Maar eerlijk…beetje vergane glorie… Toch hadden wij het enorm naar onze zin daar !

Badkamer was echt verouderd en beetje vies.

Magnifiques petits chalets tout confort éparpillés dans un morceau de jungle aux arbres magnifiques. Le parc est magnifique. Les deux piscines sont superbes. Le restaurant est excellent. Le personnel est très à l'écoute et toujours soucieux de répondre au mieux.

Les tranferts vers Mae Hong Son pourraient être plus nombreux.
