Reviewed Sep 19, 2026We stayed at the hotel during our summer road trip in Norway. And summer is not the ideal time of the year to visit Geilo since I guess that it is a winter resort for ski lovers! And the hotel is adjusted to exactly that! However, it has a very handy location for road trips and it is very big and spacious and comfortable!

Reviewed Sep 11, 2026Otrzymaliśmy niespodziewany upgrade. Super kuchnia i wyposażona suite. Pomocny personel, różnorodne śniadania. Super lokalizacja, duży obiekt, fajny basen.
Jeśli w hotelu są organizowane dedykowane konferencje powinny mieć swoją dedykowaną przestrzeń. Trafiliśmy na zlot chyba blisko 50 mam z noworodkami, nieprzyjemnie było na śniadaniach z taką ilością wózków, nosidełek płaczących i wydających różne onne odgłosy noworodkami. Zabrakło tu logistyki i organizacji.

Ble skuffet over maten i restauranten. Til så høy pris forventer man mer kvalitet. Begge rettene var lunket når de kom på bordet. Bestilte hjort og spareribs. Frokost opplevde jeg kjedelig i forhold til andre sammenlignbare fjellhotell.

من الأمور التي أزعجتني خلال الإقامة أنه تم تحصيل مبلغ مقابل توفير سرير للطفل، رغم أن الحجز عبر Booking.com كان يشير إلى أن إقامة الطفل مجانية. كذلك تم تحصيل رسوم إضافية بسبب تسجيل الخروج بعد الساعة 11 صباحًا، وهو أمر لم أتوقعه وأزعجني، خصوصًا أن معظم الأماكن الأخرى التي أقمنا فيها خلال رحلتنا في النرويج كانت أكثر مرونة وتتيح تسجيل الخروج حتى الساعة 12 ظهرًا دون رسوم إضافية. إجمالي ماتم تحصيل 650 كرونه نرويجيه! أتمنى من إدارة المنتجع إعادة النظر في هذه الرسوم وتوضيحها بشكل أكبر للضيوف مسبقًا قبل الحجز، خصوصًا الرسوم المتعلقة بالأطفال.

Disponibilità di due accappatoi per l'accesso alla Iacuzzi, (senza pagare un supplemento), visto il costo non modico della camera. Materasso eccessivamente sprofondante. Assenza di bollitore e macchina del caffè in camera.

Reviewed Aug 28, 2026We loved the surroundings, very picturesque… the room was nice as well but the corridors& the common areas were a little bit messy. Maybe because there was an event involving a lot of kids, still. We did not even bother to use the pool because there was no more room for us. It looks they are still building so I imagine it will become even more chaotic. We were not bothered because we quickly escaped in the beautiful surrounding nature.
The positives above can also be negatives depending on how much you love crowds.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2026A pretty alpine style resort located just outside the town of Geilo. The shower was hot and the room was a fair size. Staff are helpful and there is easy access to parking.
The beds are small and quite soft. A shower cap would be a nice addition in the bathroom, especially as there is only a shower.

Reviewed Aug 25, 2026Esperienza certamente positiva. La camera era pulita e spaziosa. Abbiamo usufruito della spa e ne siamo stati felici. Il ristorante ha un menù vario ed è stato tutto squisito. Gli spazi comuni, in particolare nella all e nel bar, sono suggestivi e l'arredamento ci è piaciuto molto.
I corridoi per accedere alle camere ci sono parsi un po' sporchi e trasandati. La televisione non consente di accedere o scaricare le piattaforme di streaming. Il bowling e la spa sono chiusi la domenica pomeriggio.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026Nice location. Close to the ski lift and all the amenities nearby. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice. Swimming pool and slide was cool. The bowling alley downstairs was a big hit too. Overall a great experience.
Unfortunately the timing of our visit wasn't perfect since the hotel were building a new part of the hotel directly outside our window at the time and therefore our view from the balcony was into a building site rather that the beautiful valley around Geilo. Also, I understand that its not always possible but our advanced request for connecting rooms wasn't granted...maybe it was the room types that we selected that were not compatible with this request? I was too tired after the long drive from Oslo to argue. The bar/restaurant encourages ordering via an APP which I have no problem with BUT when the food arrived the "messages to the chef" section which requested the ommission of certain ingredients had been missed by the kitchen and most of the food had to be sent back due to allergies. Next time we will speak to a human! When it all eventually arrived it was which delicious. Breakfast is a buffet and it was great but a little bit too busy for the staff trying to cope and keep the tables cleared. The Breakfast room is lovely and the food was delicious and plentiful. Smartlink allowed us to stream Netflix but I would recommend all hotels should have Smart TV to allow easier access to streaming services.

Piscine de belle taille et à excellente température : parfait ! Enfin, et beaucoup plus rare quelques pistes de bowling à un prix également maîtrisé ce qui est rare en Norvège et mérite d'être précisé On a passé un excellent moment
Le site en travaux. Nuisances sonores tardives le soir et très tôt le matin : nous aurions apprécié d'être prévenus au préalable. Lit très fatigué, un vrai trampoline sur vagues et c'est bien le ressenti. La chambre assignée était sombre et lugubre avec vues sur garage à vélos et recoin de bâtiment. On nous a proposé une autre chambre correcte mais beaucoup plus petite pourtant l'hôtel ne semblait pas être très occupé : offre Booking ?...

We booked last minute en route to discover the hotel had an event and the restaurant was fully booked. Thankfully there was good bar food. (Bulb in reading light not working and lack of pillows, only one given was v floppy)
