Wow! What an amazing high end Saas fee property! Amazing attention to detail in the penthouse. Great location. Great views and very friendly and responsive host.

De meer verborgen hygiëne had beter gekund: vettige dampkap en oven, enorme stofhopen onder de bedden.

Fantastic location for the ski lifts and perfect views from the apartment and the south facing balcony. The fantastic local sauna and swimming pool at Aqua Allalin is only a 5 minutes walk away.

Aussergewöhnlich gute Lage, sehr zentral an der Hauptstrasse mit allen Läden, aber trotzdem ruhig. Sehr hochwertige Ausstattung und gleichzeitig sehr gemütlich mit phantastischem Blick auf das Bergpanorama! Ski-Schrank gleich am Eingang. Skibus gleich in der Nähe. Lift bis in die Wohnung. Super Betreuung durch das SaasFeeHoliday-Team.

Bank am Esszimmertisch sah nur stylisch aus, war aber für einen langen Spieleabend doch unbequem.

+ top Lage im Dorfzentrum + gepflegter, sauberer Zustand, der den Bilder entspricht + sehr gemütlicher Wohnbereich mit tollen Blicken + sehr schnell erreichbare Kontaktperson + wunderbare Pflegeprodukte!

- kein Guide zur Unterkunft. Wir mussten alle relevanten Infos zusammensuchen aus verschiedenen Nachrichten und oft einfachste Sachen nachfragen, weil sie nicht selbsterklärend waren. Ein kleiner Guide gehört einfach zu einer Ferienwohnung und hätte viele Mühen erspart. - nur ein Schlüssel. Auf Rückfrage wurde uns bestätigt, dass es eigentlich zwei Schlüssel geben sollte. Der zweite wurde aber während unseres Aufenthalts nicht nachgereicht. - fehlender Skischuh-Trockner. Die Skischuhe müssen entweder in den Depots bei den Bergbahnen aufbewahrt werden oder dürfen in der Wohnung trocknen. Im engen Eingangsbereich gibt es nicht genug Ablageflächen für je zwei Paar Schuhe von sechs Personen. Da auch nur sehr wenige Fussmatten vorhanden sind und man den hochwertigen Holzboden nicht „versauen“ will, ist das Ankommen nach einem Skitag jedes Mal etwas stressig und umständlich gewesen. - die Dachschrägen sind zwar aus den Bildern ersichtlich, es ist hier aber nicht die Frage ob man sich den Kopf anstösst, sondern wann. Der Esstisch steht etwas ungemütlich ohne Aussicht unter der Dachschräge. Die Lampen an der Wand sind störend und so wollte niemand von uns auf der Bank sitzen müssen. - die Betten sind aus unserer Sicht eher ungemütlich hart aber das ist sehr subjektiv. Wir haben das bei der Bewertung nicht berücksichtigt. - die Wohnung war komplett ungeheizt bei unserer Ankunft, was uns bei Minusgraden doch etwas verwundert hat. - es fehlte trotz korrekter Buchung eine Handtuchgarnitur, die aber schnell und unkompliziert nachgeliefert wurde. - keine Mikrowelle - wir wurden gebeten, die Betten inkl. Decke und je zwei Kissen selbst abzuziehen. Bei einer Checkout-Zeit bis max. 10 Uhr fanden wir das für das Preissegment etwas seltsam. Das sind alles Details, die in Ordnung wären, wenn der Preis nicht so hoch angesetzt wäre. In diesem Preissegment erwarten wir, dass auch die Details stimmen.

1. The apartment is located on the top floor, and the roof is very low, causing our heads to hit the wooden ceiling multiple times. 2. The wooden floor needs deep cleaning 3. There is no transportation for the luggage from the car parking area to the apartment. It's about 8 minutes uphill walk, but with much luggage, it will be a headache.

Das Apartment ist sehr schön und gut eingerichtet, grosszügig von der Fläche und an einer guten Lage. Alles ist modern und sauber. Die Betreuung des Aparments bzw. Vermieters ist professionell und freundlich. Insgesamt kann ich das Angebot sehr empfehlen.

Ich habe viele Nachrichten des Vermieters doppelt erhalten und musste ein paar Mal nachfragen / schauen dass ich nicht den Überblick verliere. Hier wäre "weniger ist mehr".

Central location, very-well designed and spacious apartment, seemed relatively new and great to have 2 bathrooms, Wifi worked well as I had to work on some days while on vacation, very comfortable, very clean, kitchen well-equipped with fantastic up-to-date/new appliances ...overall: the place was well-thought out in all aspects. No hustle with check-in/check-out procedures. Hosts were in contact before arrival and provided specific/clear instructions. Will for sure come back on our next ski vacation in SaaS-Fe; loved it!!

A couple of small things (1) Kitchen was abit small, but not a show-stopper. (2) Maybe a mat outside the door to clean off shoes? Otherwise : everything was perfect really -- I could rate it 11/10!

Beautiful cool penthouse - lots of space, luxury products and wonderful views.

We had a fantastic time. If I was being picky it would have been useful to have use of a ski locker in the lobby and we could have done with a larger cooking pot and a potato peeler!!

The apartment was perfectly positioned with fantastic views of the mountain. Beds were comfortable, and having 2 bathrooms for a family of 4 was excellent. The apartment was super clean on arrival and our early arrival (from a neighbouring apartment) was accommodated, and very much appreciated. Efficient communication with the bookings office too.

Loved the panoramic views, gorgeous small village. Could walk to anywhere. Close to restaurants, supermarkets, skiing. Has washer/dryer. Communication before and during was excellent. Thanks so much! Highlight of our trip!

A great week, would come again. The terrace and it’s amazing views were worth the journey! Lovely place to sit and drink wine at the end of a full day hiking. The clean modern Apartment is well equipped (apart a wine corkscrew!) . Bed was comfortable. Good showers. Good WiFi . Easy to find in the village with lift to 4th floor made access easy.

You need to like or overlook the dead animal theme… in covers and carpet. The agent is most helpful on email but his office has rather limited opening hours. Kitchen is fine although workspace is limited. Strangely, although there is an excellent washing machine, there is no iron or board. None was promised certainly but it would have been helpful on a longer stay. There are curtains but the Electric blinds were broken in bedroom which made us get up early!

What a great hotel, right in the heart of Saas-Fee, everything was perfect! Great hosts couldn’t of done much more to make our stay perfect. Great breakfast really fresh local produce, which kept us going all day. Rooms were lovely with views over the mountain range, loads of hot water, really warm rooms. Will definitely be back to stay here.

I'm almost at the end of a two week stay at the Hotel Britannia in Saas Fee. What a wonderful time I've had! It's my 3rd time at this hotel dating back to the 1990's. I couldn't imagine staying at any other hotel. The hotel is a small, family lodging that is clean, friendly and inviting. And what a value! I chose half board and each dinner is creative and delicious. I am traveling alone and have an efficient single room with the most amazing view from my balcony. Jacques and Lori, the owners, are friendly and helpful. I don't ski, but just came to enjoy the Alps in the winter. Jacques is an amazing chef and pairs Swiss wines with the dinners perfectly. Lori is in charge of any outdoor activity a guest could want. Saas Fee is a gem in the Alps and The Hotel Britannia makes the whole experience worth many returns.

Hotel is centrally located in Saas Fee, which is probably its best quality. Like so many Swiss properties, it is absolutely spotless, but could really do with an update. The rooms are functional but very dated, and need a refresh. Rooms are small, but bathrooms are tiny, and oddly set up whereby toilet and shower in a (minuscule) ensuite, whilst the sink is in the main room. Soundproofing between rooms is not great at all. Public areas are also a step back in time: chintzy ornaments, figurines and nicknacks everywhere! Breakfast was basic but fine: cereals, bread, hams and cheese; however no fresh pastries or hot option. That said, one doesn't visit Saas Fee to sit in a hotel and criticise the interior decor. It is a great resort with stunning views and plenty of outdoor activities; just don't expect too much from this hotel.

From the first email to reserve the booking right through to our departure Jacques and Lori were outstanding. They made our entire group feel like we were a part of their family for 3 weeks. The food was absolutely incredible, their knowledge of the area and what to do was excellent and the rooms were perfect for what we needed. We will most definitely be booking our group at Hotel Britannia every year that we go to Saas Fee

Stayed at "the Brit" in a single room which was basic but comfortable. Good location in the village, slopes easily walkable. Breakfast is limited but was made to feel welcome by the staff. On the whole if you want somewhere to crash in an otherwise expensive location then this is the hotel for you.

We stayed for only one night, during our trip from Zurich to Italy. My sister said of Saas Fee, "it is like being inside a snow-globe". This hotel was very comfortable, with cute windows and beautiful balconies- a perfect place to relax and overcome jet-lag. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with even make-your-own soft boiled eggs. The proprietor was quiet, yet welcoming and helpful. WiFi worked well (fee.) The bathroom was small and a bit outdated, but cute. A vague hint of a mildew smell in room.

My sister and I spent a week at the hotel. Jacques and Lori Bigler did everything possible to make our stay comfortable, including arranging for a gluten free diet. Arrivals and departures were easy in this no-car town and space is available for ski equipment in a locked room of the hotel. Meals were wonderful with fresh breakfast buffets and elegant 4/5 course evening meals. In looking around Saas Fee, it would be hard to beat the value for money offered at Hotel Britannia. Rooms are not spacious, but have a balcony view onto the mountains. They were cleaned well by a friendly staff daily. Lots of hot water, a hotel bar and great central location. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to lifts but the city buses help shorten the trip.
