Staff were brilliant..

Property is incredible, staff are very courteous and helpful. It's well worth a stay!

We were unable to get Internet in our room. We reported it after we checked in but it wasn't resolved in the 1 night we stayed.....maybe it is now.

The welcome as we walked in the door from reception staff and Jerry the porter. We dined there both nights due to weather conditions . The first night we had dinner in the main lounge and it was perfect, Steak cooked as requested and my husband praised the light batter on his fish, Service was friendly and professional. The second day we had lunch with our niece after a fabulous breakfast, excellent service again; we were not really hungry but there were lite bites available which was perfect. That night we chose the fine dining in their beautiful dining room after a cocktail in the drawing room bar. It was a beautiful experience , we were joined by my cousins. The service was beyond excellent, dishes explained, timing perfect, deserts to die for! I can't praise this experience enough. What a chef!!! I must also mention my Spa experience, it was my Birthday which my therapist spotted from the date. It was obvious she was an experienced Therapist and wow I felt fantastic afterwards. The whole spa experience was lovely from the moment Sinead greeted us at reception. Thank you!

We attended wedding food was first class , service from the minute we entered the front door was excellent.staff all so friendly and helpful . Beautiful place .

Amazing building, gorgeous location and grounds. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially front door man who gave us interesting history of the castle and area. Great breakfast with unlimited choices.

Wish there had been a less expensive dining room with a different menu than the fine dining, which was lovely but very expensive.

Fun, relaxing, restaurants were wonderful. Lots of unique space to relax in outside if your room.

The building and grounds are beautiful.

The service was slow and inefficient throughout. The five course meal was not worth the money. Some staff really lacked confidence and enthusiasm when explaining the dishes.

Great that there’s a gym

Gym should be open earlier and better maintained. Needs aircon

Emailed the property several times about the spa & no response My room was joined with another room and I could hear the other couple

We stayed in the castle suite. More maintenance is needed to the room. There was black mold around the windows in our room. Curtains were torn. Temperature valve wasn’t working correctly on the shower. Was extremely stiff to adjust

Der Spa-Bereich ist minimal, der Pool war uns zu schmutzig und in der Dampfsauna hat es übel gerochen.

Allemaal pracht verzorgd zoals je zou verwachten, mooi park eromheen.

The drive up to the entrance was lovely and the first sight of the castle was amazing. Reception staff were most helpful and then Gerry helped us with our bags, saw us into a lift and followed on with our bags. He also gave us some helpful general advice, so a big thank you to Gerry! Our room was very good with both bath and shower in the beautiful bathroom. Breakfast was great and the breakfast room staff were the very best both helpful and attentive throughout.

I wasn't too impressed with our evening meal in the casual dining room area. The vegan apple tart with cream was disappointing. My main course caesar salad, however, was very substantial. Husband's fish pie was good I was told, but the portion seemed to be on the small side. I would skip this option next time and maybe head back to Leitrim village for more choice and less price. Breakfast and lunch here were really very good, and I need to mention that here.

Service very slow, restaurant location very strange. Need to walk through it to get to your rooms.

The breakfast was delicious and all of the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room was very outdated- the carpet was threadbare in places, one of our windows wouldn’t close, there was mold and mildew throughout the bathroom- including on the ceiling- and the sink had a huge crack in it.

Our shower/ sink had no water the morning we were leaving.

Room was a little outdated for the price. Breakfast was wonderful, so much choice. We had casual dining, the area is a bit strange as it is a walk through area, so as we were eating people were walking through but the food was incredible. We did the lake walk after our meal which was lovely.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Room was well appointed and comfortable in 'manor house' style. Dinner and breakfast service was very good. Overall, a nice experience in our tour of Ireland, offsetting the tourist hotels that dominated our travels.

The location and the hotel generally are super and what you would expect from a four star hotel. I would say Kilronan has four star potential.

Incredibly frustrating was a loud fan that kept me awake and ultimately led to having to change room leaving me fatigued following a poor night sleep. Infuriating was the fact this was a known problem with Room 102.

Jacuzzi wasn't working and both sauna and steam rooms didn't function very well.

3 Bett Zimmer sehr geräumig und genügend Stauraum für 3 Personen; sehr ruhig; Gratis PKW Parkplätze; Frühstücksbuffet sehr umfangreich und die Porridge und Eierspezialitäten sehr zu empfehlen; die hoteleigenen Restaurants sehr zu empfehlen; das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit für Ausflugstipps; das Personal ist top, von der Küche über Service, Rezeption und roomservice.... und nicht zu vergessen...einmal in einem Schloss übernachten; Spa auch wunderschön, leider konnten wir den nicht nutzen, weil wir von den Tagesausflügen immer zu spät zurückkamen;

I hadn’t checked before setting off & didn’t realise how far it was from home. Not a criticism of the hotel and honestly, I will definitely return despite the distance.
