Reviewed Sep 19, 2026Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel in Essaouira. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das außergewöhnlich tolle Frühstück – eine große Auswahl, frisch und wirklich sehr lecker! Das gesamte Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel ist außerdem sehr gut gelegen, sodass man vieles bequem zu Fuß erreichen kann. Die Zimmer und das gesamte Hotel waren sauber und gepflegt. Trotz der zentralen Lage war es angenehm ruhig, sodass wir sehr gut schlafen konnten. Insgesamt haben wir uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt und würden das Hotel jederzeit weiterempfehlen. 😊

Nos gustó todo, pero el precio fue caro, casi a precio de hotel en España, supongo que por ser temporada alta.

Tea and coffee making facilities only available in one room, as far as we could see.

Het hotel heeft veel trappen, dus niet zo handig als je slecht ter been bent. De gordijnen in kamer waren te kort waardoor niet alle licht tegengehouden werd.

The location this end of town may not be liked by some as the riad is reached by several narow side streets, a much more 'local' area perhaps, groups of men gathered around food cafes and people selling 2nd hand goods laid out on the pavements made the journey a tad uncomfortable at times.

Wir hatten leider das Pech kleines dunkles Zimmer direkt bei Treppe zu bekommen- Fenster zum Gang konnte nicht ganz verdunkelt werden, war hellhörig.

Like the picture shows this is a tall, circular building with 8 rooms. We were on the top floor. I didn't count the steps but there are A LOT. I huffed and puffed my way up. By the 3rd day it was much easier, but if you're out of shape (like me) be forewarned. I'm not sure this place could accommodate someone with mobility challenges. I didn't see any rooms on the bottom floor. They did help bring our bags up and down. Bless. I would have died. Surprisingly quiet. Comfortable beds. Our room had 1 king and a twin to accommodate our family traveling with our adult child. I liked that the shower and sink were separate from the toilet. Someone could shower leaving the toilet free. The toilet room had a door. The shower room had a curtain separating it from the rest of the room. Still felt private because the shower is built in such a way that it can't be seen even with the curtain open. Easy walk to all the activities of the Essaouira medina. Lots of light from the windows which we opened to listen to the call to prayer Very helpful and friendly staff! Accessible via Whatsapp and providing us with recommendations.
