Nice lobby, spacious room, cleanliness, and the view over the city from the 19th floor. The swimming pool on the 13th floor was a bonus.

Most of the reception staff don't speak English at all, so communication was very difficult. The sauna was only 40 degrees Celsius, so useless. The restaurant tricked me, serving a bottle of wine different from the one I chose and charging me more than double.

Very roomy and clean hotel. It is a little dated but the service, comfort, and room size is really worth the price.

The Chinese restaurant on the 4/F closes at 2pm, which is too early!

The rooms are extremely large, compared to other hotels in Beijing, the breakfast is incredibly good, both in terms of asian-western offer, and in terms of quantity. Besides, the hotel has a number of very interesting amenities, as the gym, the swimming pool and the free laundry. Besides, the subway station is less than 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel, so very convenient, although we also used taxis (booked by the people from the hotel, who were extremely nice even if they didn't speak English, which was solvesd by using online translators). One night we also ate at the hotel (Oasi cafe), which is worth the price it costs.

Это северная часть столицы где расположены в основном университеты и институты. Без проблем оформили ранний заезд на ресепшен. Сервис и питание отличное. В холле расположена кофейня с кондитеркой, где можно назначить встречу. Завтраки на любой самый взыскательный вкус на 3-м этаже. Ужинали там же в ресторане Oasis. Западная кухня. Очень вкусно и разнообразно. Фото прилагаю. На 4-м этаже ресторан Китайской кухни для желающих. В номерах чисто, уборка каждый день. Кофе, чай, вода в номере. Есть тренажерный зал. Отдохнули прекрасно. Очень хочется вернуться сюда еще!

В отеле есть бассейн, но не удалось туда попасть.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Vision Beijing. The location is ideal, set in a tranquil neighborhood while still close to Xitucheng metro station (line 10), making getting around the city easy. Finding a taxi is also convenient, either on your own or with the helpful assistance of the front desk, who was always attentive and professional. The breakfast is a highlight: varied, generous, and of excellent quality. There is an ATM in (or close to) the hotel to withdraw cash in local currency. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to swim in the pool, but it’s a great bonus that I look forward to trying next time. Overall, an excellent value for money for a trip to Beijing.

Great value for money if you don't mind living a bit away from the city center. The executive room was great and comes with access to a nice lounge. Rooms are much nicer than the old classic hotels in the area. The service was excellent and our kid absolutely loved that items were delivered by a robot, he also got to feed the fish (thanks to Zhang Xin).

It was a comfortable and nice hotel. Near to the metros. Was upgraded to a suite. Concierge is very friendly and helpful. Overall a great stay. Not many shops or convenience stores around, but conveniently located 1 or 2 metro stops away from shops or stores.

Very nice hotel. Clean rooms in good condition. Great service as well. All the staff were kind and professional. Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. The only disappointment was the pool. It didn't open until noon and they charge extra. This was a big disappointment for us because that was a big part of why we choose the hotel and my kids were really looking forward to swimming. Also, the extra charge was not mentioned anywhere in the information about the hotel so it was a surprise - but we didn't end up paying because the pool was not open in the mornings. The disappointment does not take away from the other aspects of the hitel though so I'll still give 5 stars.

We were very impressed with the facilities and service. Our kids loved the swimming pool! It was big, clean and well heated. The room we stayed in was clean and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable.

We were surprised at how spacious the room was. Nice view from the room, very friendly housekeeper. The surrounding area had all you need: public transportation, food, shopping etc… we will definitely come back again next time visiting Beijing.

One can’t pay bills by Master or Visa card in the small bar. The room doesn’t include breakfast.

This hotel is right in front of the metro, which makes me very easy to get anywhere in Beijing. Room was very clean and spacious. The only cons is that you need to understand chinese to have any information from hotel.

It's a good quality hotel, good room with nice bed and pillow, gym, pool, good breakfast. I would go back.

I have stayed here several times the past two years. The location has little nearby but the Line 10 subway is a few minutes walk. The biggest issues were with the room itself. The heating seemed to be permanently on. My room was often 28C throughout the night. Additionally one morning there was no hot water, only ice cold from the shower and tub. A colleague also staying confirmed the cold water in her room as well.

I like the spacious executive rooms (the room I had is over 900 square feet, with price comparable to others' 400 square feet rooms), afternoon tea at executive lounge.

The property is very nice, is close to a subway stop, and within a few blocks there are several restaurants. The rooms are spacious and clean. The gym was very limited and has limited hours. It would be great if they opened earlier to get a workout in prior to early morning meetings, but it opens at 7am, which is a bit late. It would be nice if the hotel had a real bar, they have a room on the first level that serves as a bar, but it is not the same. Trying to find out where to get a drink in this hotel is quite difficult. Check-in was unnecessarily difficult and many staff have limited English speaking skills.

Nice hotel with above average facilities, We booked an Executive Room which had bedroom with king bed and lounge room and a bar area. The ensuite was very nice. Included continental breakfast was excellent. The hotel is close to Beijing University otherwise it is far away from city centre and restaurants. The biggest problem we had is very few staff spoke basic English in the hotel including any taxi/uber drivers as you had to use them to do anything. Lack of English skills was evident across China and Hong Kong. If you willing to compromise the distance from city it offers good value for money.

It was a very good hotel close to the universities. Service and facilities were above average for this type of international hotel. What would appreciate something we experienced throughout China that very few people speak basic English to communicate particularly in international hotel or drivers of hotel booked cars. This needs to be addressed if China wants to provide true high quality holiday experience for international tourist.

Very nice hotel and well kept up with very friendly staff. Location right a Beihang University and very close to train station is also great. Several items were a bit disappointing: a) the gym, fitness center only opens a noon. I prefer exercising in the morning so this did not suit me. For a hotel of the caliber the mini-bar was rather poorly stocked, only two software drinks and a wine. Likewise I expected more choices from the Executive Lounge, which offers only coffee and tea during the day. Other drinks are available during happy hour in the evening although no alcoholic drinks, which is hard to understand. The happy hour food was indeed very nice. Aside from this, highly recommendable, rooms are nice and well equipped and great breakfast buffet.

The hotel is conveniently located on the Beihang university campus. The rooms are clean, well equipped and sound proof. The breakfast buffet was good, offering both local and western options and the hotel staff was attentive. Staff speak enough English to get by for guests who don’t speak Chinese. The hotel is in walking distance from a metro station.

This is a very nice, top quality hotel and the staff is responsive. I would like to see more "English speaking" staff and need a few more "English" channels on their TV. Lastly, opening hours of a gym should be 5A or 6A not 12P. I hope that one gets addressed soon...because I will be back!

Very new hotel. Most guests are for business in Haidian district, so there is no running kids or yelling parents. Service is great. Only drawback is one small panel fell from the wall. It didn't cause any big damage, just leg bruises. It could be the issue of the construction company.

We booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children. There was no room description on the orbitz description, but we assumed that there would be multiple beds as it was a room booked for 4 people and the pictures indicated 2 beds. Of course when we arrived, there was one bed and a sofa. We asked about rooms with two beds and the hotel staff did not accommodate us. We asked for an additional mattress and they wanted to charge us. Finally, they provided a baby bed for our infant son, but the process was long and unnecessarily complicated. My wife is Chinese so it was not a communication issue, they were simply uninterested in providing a room that would logically accommodate a family of four.

Had a great stay here. A delicious breakfast was included, but only for some of our group. Swimming is lap swim only and swim caps are required. Beautiful pool on one of the middle floors. Convenient to subway and food. Great view of city! Attentive staff.

Very clean and quiet hotel. Short walk from the subway. As with most Asian hotels, you'll only get one room key, and if you take the key out of its holder in your room, your room has no power. Also, you cannot use the elevator if you do not have your room key. So this makes it very difficult for one of you to run to the store and leave the other behind in the room. That is a small inconvenience. We'd definitely stay here again when in Beijing!

Very nice new hotel with large room and bathroom. It is a little out of the way for some tourist site but great location for our family visit. It is close to subway and freeway. Breakfast buffet could be improved. Poor selection and ran out of many items. Very nice pool and gym.

It is my second stay in this hotel. Very friendly and nice staff. Check-in and check-out went smoothly and maybe the fastest in China. I lived on the executive floor with free drinks in the lounge, which is nice if you have visitors. The room was clean and the swimming pool is a bonus. Wifi is fast. BF is excellent with many options. Location is good, with short access to metro system, although the entrance to the hotel main gate is a bit difficult for taxi driver to find. In general a very nice stay.

The room and services exceeded my expectation. The room (standard, king bed) is clean and spacious. Bed and furniture are in great condition. Most people who stayed here seemed to be scholars with business with the associated university. Breakfast is great. All staff members that I met are friendly. It is certainly worth the price.

It's not located in tourist area, but next to subway station & plenty local shops, restaurants. I think totally worth the price. The staffs are very friendly, but don't speak much English. The only thing we complained is that the gym & pool open from 12pm - 11pm.

This is a very nice, modern 4-star hotel with all the comforts you would expect, but in a very boring neighbourhood. There isn't even a convenience store nearby, and the only decent restaurant for quite a way is the hotel restaurant. I had business in the area, so it suited me fine. The rooms are large. The staff are friendly, but they could be a bit more professional. One evening a few of us wanted a drink in the lobby bar, but it was full. Would they let us take our drinks to sofas in the lobby itself? No. They sent up to the 3rd floor restaurant, which was closing because it was 9.30. As a special concession, they stayed open. But the drinks had to be ordered and brought up from downstairs -- which meant a 30 minutes wait. This seemed a bit unnecessary to me! Similarly, at breakfast, I was told not to wait for an omelette to be made, but that they would bring it. But then they forgot. They were embarrassed when they realized. I wasn't in a hurry, and it wasn't a bit deal. But these kinds of thing shouldn't really happen in a quality hotel.

the staffs are really helpful. Although i had difficulties finding grocery shops nearby, the room and the locations are superb. The room is super comfy.

Only complaint is that the air conditioning seemed underpowered. Couldn't get temp. under 23 deg. and at times needed a fan to keep cool at times. Location is not great for shopping etc. but all else is great and totally safe.

We went to sightsee for a week in Beijing and loved our stay at Vision. The breakfast is wonderful! Massages at the spa are fantastic and very reasonably priced. The hotel would call taxis for us and give them details on where we wanted to go. The shower was great! The room temp couldn't be controlled so we opened window. Close to subway and all the sights!

Our stay was fine at this hotel. It was in a good position for where we needed to be and was on the main road. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The beds were quite hard but still comfortable. The buffet breakfast and dinner was also fine. Not great but good enough. The concierge desk had limited English but we always were able to work it out in the end. The rooms had very good city views.

The front desk and the entrance staffs were very nice and friendly, providing help for finding taxi. The room is also clean and comfortable. The biggest problem for the hotel is the internet speed, too slow. Given the price and the star level of this hotel, it should improve its internet service.

The hotel room and facilities are overall great, but the staffs gotta seriously work on their attitude and the hotel gotta work on the food quality.....

Very nice, clean, comfortable room with great views (if Beijing is having a good air day); all that you'd expect a luxury hotel to deliver. Great value and overall a seamless stay.

If you aren't planning to stay at the more pricey western hotels (like crowne plaza, four points, etc.) in the Haidian part of Beijing, this is a great option for a luxury stay. It is 4-5 star quality room for 2-3 star prices. Though it is not as convenient as a walkable area, it has easy access to taxis. If you compare surrounding hotels 1 miles around this area, you will notice that there aren't many selections in the upper tiered hotel types at this price. The only comparable is Park Plaza hotel, but that is no way better than this accommodation. I was here mainly for business, and it goes beyond what I typically need.

This hotel is not in your normal busy part of Beijing. We had stayed here a few years ago with a tour group, so we decided to do it again. It is flanked by a bunch of universities and is in a professional area. The facility was built to be a 5-star hotel, but cannot claim that because it is owned by the University and thus is a government type building. The rooms are very spacious and ours had both a shower & a separate bathtub. There entire hotel is very nice and has a large indoor swimming pool, a workout room, a billiard area and a ping-pong room. The staff doesn't speak the best English, but they try really hard even if they have to grab a few other employees to help them out. They are very attentive to any need you may have and doted well on us. Electronically speaking, there are US plugs in the room, which is very handy. Also, the high-speed internet in the room is a physical line that you plug into, which makes it very fast and reliable, unlike several other hotels. The metro stop (blue line) is seriously only 5 minutes away. On a map it looks farther, but it isn't. Also, walking in just the other direction is a street lined with places to eat, including a McDonalds.

They deserve 6 stars. Room was super clean, bathroom with shower and bathtub was neat. Service from front desk to room cleaner was beyond expectation. Free water delivered to the room anytime. Very helpful staff in giving information about the city all the way to getting a taxi and talking to the taxi driver.

We had a great stay, the hotel was very nice and clean. It was a little far from the centre, but very close to the subway. The breakfast was excellent and on the last day, when we left at 5:45am they prepared a wonderful packed breakfast for me and my children.

This is a great hotel for convenience to the colleges of the Haidan District. The neighborhood is very much a college area. The room was a little hot and did not regulate well. Request a room opposite the main road as the car horns start pretty early.

We have often stayed at this Vision Hotel because of its convenience adjacent to Beihang University where our daughter studies. It is also convenient to the subway and has very comfortable beds. However, we were very disappointed in this visit. The weather had been very warm (upper 80's F) for two to three weeks, so the cool lobby was very welcoming. Unfortunately, the rooms weren't so cool. After suffering through a night of high 80's and non-functional air-conditioning, we called the staff to complain. A member of the staff came to the room, checked out the AC, and informed us that the AC had not been turned on for this part of the building (as an energy-saving effort). After a second night without AC, we decided to move out and change hotels. The manager told us that he could not refund the money (that we would have to call Expedia); that was okay because we had pre-paid through Expedia. But, what wasn't okay was when the manager told our daughter (in Chinese so we couldn't understand him) was that the AC was working fine and it wasn't hot in our room and a staff person never came to our room to check! There were 4 of us who witnessed otherwise and I had photos of the temperature in the room. Very insulting!

Hotel is new clean and comfortable, on campus of a convenient location. Staff are friendly.

Stayed here on a business trip, solely to be near a business meeting. When my meetings later shifted to the Financial Street area, I changed hotels to be closer. You really do not want to be commuting across Beijing due to the deadlocked and slow moving traffic. The Vision had nice sized rooms that were decently appointed, especially for the price. My complaint about the room would be the lack to be able to properly control the temperature in the room. Otherwise, very acceptable. The location is not great, It sits on a wide street, where it is not always easy to get a taxi, and there is not much within walking distance from the hotel. There is however a subway station a short walk away, so you can indeed reach the rest of the city by Subway. If you wanted to get to Tiananmen, it would take you a good 45 minutes by train.

I love this hotel. I always try to stay here when I am in Beijing. Close to subway and great neighborhood food. Rooms are super and a great value, wireless now super fast, staff A+. Out of the crazyness of the CBD but close to all.

There's alot of fascilities in the hotel and it was very close to the subway station. Nice area, not very close to convenience stores though. Staff was friendly and rooms were very nice with good beds and bathroom. Hotel reception area could do some work but the staff made up for it - very friendly and helpful. Only thing that sucked was the Wifi - no wifi in rooms only wired internet. Air-con did not really work. Otherwise good hotel.

Just stayed there for 2 weeks. Everything is perfect except no individual temperature conntrol. 5 mins walk to the subway, which is the cheapest and fastest transportation in Beijing.

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to BUAA (Beihang University) and once we arrived, we found that it was immediately adjacent to the school building that we were interested in. It also has easy access to the Xitucheng stop on the subway, just one block (Chinese block) up the street. Since it is by the school, there are also many restaurants nearby, including American fast-food, Korean, and various Chinese styles. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and welcoming; their English was very good. We pre-paid the rooms on Expedia and had no problems there. The room was as nice as any 4+ star in the US and nicer than any 5 star in Beijing where I have previously stayed. The bed was quite comfortable and the view from the 19th floor was beautiful (Olympic park, the mountains, the universities). The bathroom was quite spacious with a large tub and stand-alone shower with great water pressure. It is about a 100 RMB ($15 to 17USD) taxi ride from the Capital airport, which is easier than taking the subway if you have much luggage at all (and almost cheaper if you have more than two people).

Hotel has nice rooms, but temperature control not working. Room was over 84 degrees every day....way too warm. Although info on web and in room stated there was a good sized bar, it was no longer open, and the only place for a small meeting I had arranged was in the lobby bar, with very limited selection. Staff speaks very minimal English.

Vision BJ is a great hotel. There is a subway stop 5 minutes away and getting a taxi is a breeze if you need one. Great food street just left of the subway station. The rooms are of high western quality and expectations. The staff are great. If you need train tickets etc the business center is right on the money. My only complaint is that the internet is sooooo poor. In room there is no wireless so you will need an ethernet compatible laptop. I had a new Mac (no built in ethernet port) and had to find a Apple store to get an adapter. Bit of a chore. Even then it is slow bandwidth. Getting my email was a time waster. I would have to go down to the business center or lobby for wireless. If they took care of the internet issues this would be a 5 all the way. But when in BJ it is my hotel of choice.

good location and great service. the only complain I have is that they don't have wifi in room and the cable I used to connect my computer to internet was so bad that i had to reconnect physically every few minutes.

I stayed at this hotel for a work conference and would stay there again. Pros: The rate was a very good value for an executive room, excellent breakfast, the room service is fast and affordable. CONS: The gym doesn't open until 2:00 PM (this is inconceivable to me), hallway carpet on the 21st floor is really showing its age, and the location is not convenient to any local stores (coming from Shanghai there is a Family Mart on every corner)

Hotel is very nice. Some carpets need to be redone. Staff is outstanding. It great if you are there on business with the Beihang university. The area is not the best base for sightseeing in Beijing. It was studying at Beihang and it was a delightful refuge.

I was highly impressed by the service at this hotel; the staff really went out of there way to make sure everything was going well. Great buffet breakfasts available, friendly staff, extremely clean and spacious rooms. I would definitely stay here again. Also extremely handy to get around to other locations in Haidian district in Beijing.

Vision hotel was a good surprise. It had everything a business traveller requires. Staff mostly helpful though not fluent in English.
