Grace Bay Beach Ocean Villas

Did not stay long enough to find out. Location is very remote and there are no services, no restaurants, no shops, no conveniences or amenities. We left within the hour.

Check in was simple. Received and email the day before trip with check in instructions and directions. The property was well maintained. Enjoyed having the swimming pool and private access to the beach. This side of Grace Bay has less crowds than the east side. If you like being away from all the crowds and having a semi private section of beach, this is the place to stay.

Poor and Rude Customer Service

Grace Bay Beach Ocean Villas needs to be on your target list of exceptional facilities if you want a romantic spot for vacationing. The Villas have everything you want/need and the grounds are pristine and relaxing. A paved walkway to your private beach from which you can walk 20 minutes west to Smiths Reef or 40 Minutes east to the Bite – both great snorkeling. Have meals in your Villa (Great IGA a short drive away)or dine on Conch at the Shark Bite and other restaurants only a 7 minute walk from the Villa. A Side Note: We managed to leave our iPhone behind by mistake and the management/staff team tracked us down for its return - - just a commentary on the tone of the Villas Team.

We absolutely loved our stay at this property! The Villa was spacious, clean, came equipped for us to cook our meals and the best onsite staff, Luz. She was the sweetest woman! The pools were amazing as was the short walk to the beach. Our teenagers loved it as well. Very quiet and tranquil, gave us time to really relax with everything we needed and wanted to close by! the street itself is extremely safe. We ate to the local restaurants which were amazing! We highly recommend Mango Reef! We adopted a puppy from Potcake Place just mintues away from our villa. THANK YOU!! We look forward to retruning!

Beautiful villas in a great location with excellent staff. Walking distance to some good restaurants and the beach. The only real downside is that Turtle Cove is blindingly overlit and so is the beach, killing what should be a very charming nighttime vibe.

This is a beautiful and clean villa. The accommodations were spacious and comfortable. We highly recommend the Grace Bay Vila.

It was the off season so it was very peaceful and quiet. The private beach is beautiful and calm. The destination is a bit remote, so a car is necessary. There was a lack of communication, I emailed and messaged 4 days prior to check-in with no response. The property is located in a warm and humid climate - and since there are no stores nearby - the least you could they could do is provide a few bottles of water in each villa (I asked other guests and they had no water provided either) My room wasn’t serviced ONCE during my 3 day stay. I asked for a 1 hour late check out due to my flight delay and the property seemed pretty much empty and was told no. I hadn’t seen another guest in 2 days!!! Travelling alone and without a vehicle it would have been nice to have a bit better customer service. I travel VERY often and I’ve been to over 90 countries and while I liked the property - the customer service left a lot to be desired. Would not stay there again.

It’s was nice stay here and stuffs were so friendly. It’s little far from the main locations for activities but we enjoyed staying here. Everything was so nice and perfect.

We stayed in the Magnolia Villa, which was the cheapest. I’d recommend one of the more expensive villas. The property was dated and missing some creature comforts, like lamps (the only lights were overhead bright lights) and wall artwork. But it was clean, cool, close to the beach, with great staff. We lost wifi for a full day, but they were quick to fix it. The pool is just a lap pool, but the chairs there and chairs and umbrellas on the private beach were great! If you want daily cleaning, you have to ask for it. Late September is a great time to go to this location! If you can, splurge for one of the more expensive villas.

Very quiet villa

Villa was very clean. Luz was very helpful and friendly. We arrived before check in but she was able to accommodate us. I would definitely recommend and book there again. We stayed in the orchid villa.

The villa was quaint and clean and had all the requirements we need. The pool was just steps from our door which was great. And even with other villas occupied we felt like we were the only ones there.

We had a very good experience. It was pretty quiet and private, the private beach was amazing. Lucy was very nice and helpful. Will come back !

Great property, staff was great, the villa was very spacious and cleaned I would definitely recommend it to my friend and family who want to visit the Turks and Caicos Islands.

What a peaceful villa in close proximity to dining (8min walk) and a short drive (8min drive) to even more dining options and shopping. A very quick 2 min walk to the private beach was also amazing! We enjoyed our stay here, and it was kept very clean. Housekeepers were phenomenal and would lightly clean daily. Pool and common areas were also tidy. Highly recommend!

We stayed at the Hibiscus Villa with a family of 4. Very clean and comfortable. The property is very well maintained. The pool is perfect. The short walk to the private beach was the best. The beach is beautiful with loungers and umbrellas for our use. The water is so clear you could see for miles. We snorkeled right off the beach and found numerous reefs along the way to smith reef. We would highly recommend these villas and will stay there again when we visit Turks and Caicos. Luz (property manager) is the ultimate BEST She was always there to help us or answer questions such a sweetheart. Jose( elite luxury transportation) was awesome. If you don’t rent a car, go with Jose until next time TCI

I would have given 5 stars but office manager wasn’t always accessible. The water would also go in and out at random times so we didn’t have water for showers. I did like that the beach was private and it’s a one minute walk. It was very quiet and secluded in comparison to the resorts. Very clean as well and we had our own pool. Would still highly recommend it. Wish the AC was stronger in the room as well.

First, TCI is beautiful. Our choice of Grace Bay Beach Ocean Villas proved to be fantastic! The ocean is just steps away down a private lighted path. Fantastic snorkeling at Smith Reef from shore. The villa was great, clean and had everything we needed. The use of the grills at the pool was great for us when we didn't want to eat out. Great coffee shop and restaurants near by. The grocery store was a 10 minute drive. Everything was so convenient and the on-site manager was fantastic. We can't thank her enough. Wi-Fi was more than adequate as I was able to work remotely without any issues. The villa itself was great! The outdoor patio was great for us to dry our snorkel and scuba gear on. The covered balcony was wonderful to sit out in the morning or evening and enjoy coffee or a late night cocktail. We utilized the full kitchen every day and the A/C was very welcomed. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Grace Bay Beach Ocean Villas.

Very quiet villa. The manager was very nice.

Our Villa was secluded enough for privacy, yet others were close enough to be able to meet other people. We had all the necessities to be able to cook our own meals. A swimming pool, close by. Large verandas to relax, with an outdoor dinning room. It was air conditioned and had ceiling fans. Our two bedrooms had their own bathrooms. Overall I would recommend the resort to all. And we were a five minute walk to a private beautiful, clean beach. Thanks to management for a wonderful stay.

Very clean, great location, excellent beach very close for snorkling and relaxing. Rent a car so you can go downtown but alot of options within walking distance.

We were pleased with our stay. The Orchid Villa was as pictured and described. The sliding glass door that is only door could use some WD-40 or lubricant of some kind- it gets stuck and can be hard to close especially, with no handle. Private beach was great, as was kayak we used to paddle to Turtle Cove marina right next door. Check in with Luis was easy - just go to your villa. Free parking was convenient and accessible. Highly recommend renting a car! Would/will stay here again. Not at all crowded. Pool we overlooked was used only once or twice by one person. Lots of privacy! Beautiful.

The best part is a beach, very private and close to the Smith’s reef.

The Grace Bay Beach Ocean Villas was a nice property that was seemingly off the beaten path but near to where you need to be to experience the beauty of Provo.

This is a true romantic getaway spot within walking distance to the ocean. We stayed 5 days and felt very secluded inside the tropical paradise. The grounds around the area are well taken care off and they have a path to the beach lined in large stones so you don’t need to walk through the thick sand. Ocean is breathtaking and very private with beach chairs set up underneath large umbrellas. I would definitely stay again

My 5 y.o. son and I were thrilllllled with this lodging! We will be back. Luz and her crew were great: always available, ready to help and so pleasant. Our room at Orchid Villas was just right; we had plenty of space and the kitchenette with microwave and other equipment (no stove) was enough for us paired with Mango Reef, Sharkbite and groceries from the IGA. Bicycles, beach toys, pool toys, kayaks for the canal/bay, incredible natural beauty surrounding the villas. Wi_fi, tv. We kept in touch with Jose at Elite taxi service who was also very responsive.

Where to begin…this property was truly AMAZING!! The location was just perfect. It is a gorgeous 2 min walk (at most) to a private section for guests only in Grace Bay Beach one of the area’s best beaches and arguably the best snorkeling (Smith Reef). There are two pools and lovely areas (covered veranda) in front of Magnolia Villa where we stayed. Our accommodations in the villa itself were perfect (2 bedrooms, including a master bedroom), 2 full baths, nice sized open living room (with two fold out couches for sleeping). The kitchen was spacious and was well stocked with pots, pans, plates, etc. we didn’t lack anything. It was one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed at. Luz, the house keeper/manager was always there as needed and does a fabulous job. I look forward to coming back. It was just perfect. No complaints at all!

We really enjoyed this resort. There were so many things to do and the rooms were very comfortable. Staff is attentive and friendly!!! This truly is a beautiful place!!!

BE CAREFUL AT THIS PLACE!!! They leave the gates open and have no security. We contacted management because someone was sitting poolside outside our Villa. We sent management and the housekeeper a picture of the guy. Neither could identify the guy. Management said “it might” be security. Management also said security wears all black which the guy wasn’t wearing all black. Management did come out the second day we seen the man. I wouldn’t stay here again it’s unsafe.

The property does not have an office or reception. This was not disclosed until after booking. The owner was good about communicating check in policy after we had contacted him. The Oleander “villa” is one room with a bed and a very small bathroom with tiny shower. Ok for a night, but would not want to spend more time there.

Checkin was non existent. Even after contacting Expedia the day before to get the info all I had was an email and phone number. I called and emailed never heard back. Next day I find the property and no one is there to tell me where I am staying. Several calls to the property with no answer. After finally finding a worker got to my room. Curtains were stained and bathroom was not very clean. I would not recommend

Quiet property near Turtle Cove. You will probably want a rental car or make arrangements for a taxi service to take you places.

Clean Villa with a fully furnished kitchen. Access to kayaks and other outdoor equipment. The beach is a very short walk away as is Smiths Reef where you can a snorkel. Property manager was very attentive and a pleasure to interact with.

Greeting was lovely, friendly and room was immaculate (cleanliness) well equipped, great pool. The only things that were are concern/ would be nice to know before staying - instructions for the tv/ entertainment, was asked for codes to register and use passwords, but none were provided. Also the flashlight provided (great idea) as it gets incredibly dark to leave the villa, had dead batteries so evening walk (after 7 was tricky) - also a warning that everything (restaurants) closes earlier than listed and delivery services stop because slow season meant we missed dinner altogether. There was also supposed to be snorkeling gear - but seems like it was forgotten (we were a last min check is - so understandable ) Did call the offsite manager as we realized all this around 8 pm .. but didn’t hear back that day

The worst place. & they won’t give me a refund. They would rather let me flight there during a hurricane and civil uprest in Haiti!!

The property was clean. They have a mini fridge, a tea kettle, microwave and toaster. Tv and cable is provided. The pool is right outside your door practically. Here's my issue. I was hacked while on their wifi. The hacker logged into my fb acct, posted some pretty distubing garbage, and my acct got shut down within a matter of 5min and now its completley disabled...all while i was sleep. I would recommend NOT using their wifi because this whole ordeal has disrupted my life and now I have to find a new normal. Be careful on these islands. Reality hit hard and fast. As far as the room, it was fine, but this event during my stay completely ruined my last day and even with being more cautious in the future, I wouldn't return back to the island, let alone the villa.

The property was well maintained and the staff was very friendly. The beds in both rooms were not very comfortable and the master bed makes a lot of noise when you get in and out. The bathrooms have very little sink space, space overall, and the toilet is very small. The room was clean and adequate for what we needed but bathrooms and beds were the only complaint.

Amazing villa and good location. Close to some restaurants for food and Luz made my stay extra special. She keeps on checking if everthing was fine and she made sure I will have a wonderful stay.

Nice property, well maintained and located just a few hundred feet from the ocean and a private section of beach. They have wifi but the tv options were limited to non existant.

Luz,the property care taker was excellent!.she will go above and beyond to provide the guest what they needed.She’s a true gem.Our hope is that the company takes good care of them as well.Their bosses will recognize their hard work.Treat them fairly.

Quite and safe place to go

This place is spacious and well kept, however, the pool area is a little dirtier than pictured and the area is not actually the Grace Bay area so prepare to rent a car to call my taxis to get around the island.

This property is located in a very beautiful and quiet area, just a short walk to the beach. I traveled to the island with my husband and children. The area felt safe. There were not a lot of tourist in this area, which made it very relaxing. Restaurants are just a short drive (or walk) away. The property itself was very comfortable. However, there was no laundry services available on the property. The "community washer" was out of order. This was pretty inconvenient at times. Otherwise, everything else was as described.

For anyone going to Turks and Caicos‘s: Whatever you do, DO NOT stay at Grace Bay Ocean Villas! In all of my bookings I have never complained about my accommodations. This is the first time where I felt like I was bamboozled with the pictures shown on Expedia's & Grace Bay Ocean Villas website versus the actual villa (Magnolia) that we ended up being placed in. When booking on Expedia it only shows the nicer villas and it does not give a description or name or list which villa at the time of purchase, which villa you are actually getting. So we only stayed one night but offered to pay for 2 nights and asked for a refund, which the owner CHRISTOPHER refused. Here’s a picture of my view from villa. DON’T stay at this place! Worst place on the island! I definitely would recommend the ROYAL WEST INDIES RESORT! Superb food at Egeo and Le Bouchon Du Village! — at Grace Bay Beach Ocean Villas.

Villa was clean, quiet, and private. Everything worked and we had no issues. The walk to the beach is short and the beach was not crowded. The beach chairs and umbrellas were clean and in good repair. The beach is beautiful with a coral reef close offshore. The only thing we wished for was a dryer. There is a washer on the premises but just a clothes line for drying. A minor thing. Overall a great place. We had a lovely time.

Small bathroom. No exhaust fan, instead a can of air freshener provided. Freezer section in the frig was frozen up so frig was not cooling so had food spoiled. The safe was troublesome to unlock (took 4-8 times). King bed was comfortable. Drapes looked like they came from a secondhand store. Drapes not blackout. No instructions for TV operation or channel guide. Kitchen supplies were in drawers taking away half of the drawer space for clothes. Kitchenette was the top of a long dresser. Pool area OK. Overpriced compared to other places that we investigated, especially considering the location, this included locations on the beach next to downtown area. Location to beach was OK. We stayed in the Oleander Villa (lower level unit). We were hearing the footsteps and people talking above us constantly.

This property is a good price for what you get. good location, near the beach, free parking. good find if available imo. The house keeper on the property is a dream. the owner of the property is ehh. we were moved half way thru the trip for an upgrade but it really wasnt.

Very cute clean location

The property was immaculate. Luz greatest is as soon as we got there and showed us around. She couldn’t have been more sweet. There were only 2 other couples staying so it was so quiet and had the pool to ourselves most of the time. The beach is right across the street and we had chairs and umbrellas all set up for us. Everything was exactly what we wanted it to be.

I stayed for 9 days and I had a very pleasant and comfortable experience. Luz assisted me in every way since I was a solo traveler. She was very helpful. I would definitely come back and recommend the villas. My only problem was the door was difficult to close.

Everything was great and perfect. From the check in till the Final. The service is so good. The vila was very clean and comfy. the beach is 2 minutes walk and easy to get there. Also the swimming pool is excellent for after noon. Very recommended and definitely will come back soon. THANK YOU!!
