Die Zimmer sind unterschiedlich, aber in unserem Fall war eines von beiden sehr klein. Alles im Haus hat deutliche Gebrauchsspuren- das muss man mögen, uns hat es nicht gestört.

Reviewed Sep 2, 2026Hotel Colonial is a very nice hotel right on the main square of Salta. The rooms are large, and they kindly upgraded us to a balcony room. We liked that it is an old building that has been restored and maintained well. The bed was comfortable so we slept pretty well. They provide all of the products in the bathroom and there is plenty of hot water. It was also really quiet even though its right on a street and the square. Breakfast was good, you could order scrambled eggs, else it was tons of pastries, yogurt, fruit, juices, coffee as typical throughout Argentina. The lady running the breakfast room was efficient and kept all things well filled as they were consumed. Even just before ending time, the area was still fully stocked for any late eaters. There is an elevator, which helps a lot with getting luggage up to your room.
The AC struggled a bit, and we liked the idea of the ceiling fan, but it was unbalanced so too noisy for night time. Overall, its a great hotel in a great location.

Que por poner un precio con descuento me dieron la peor habitacion, con camas de media plaza. Imposible dormir.... y ponen de pretexto que es lo que indica la aplicacion, pero no es así, ponen fotos de dormitorios bonitos.

Excelente atención de todo el personal, siempre muy amables y predispuestos. El hotel realmente hace honor a su nombre de “Colonial”: está reciclado con muy buen gusto, conservando el encanto y el estilo del lugar. Nos alojamos en una habitación triple, que resultó ser realmente amplia, cómoda y muy agradable. Sin dudas, una excelente opción para alojarse y disfrutar de la ciudad. ¡Muy recomendable!

Reviewed Jun 2, 2026El Hotel tiene una ubicación inmejorable (frente a la plaza principal), no tiene servicios como pileta, que yo sepa tampoco gimnasio, pero para una estadía de unos pocos días, es MUY RECOMENDABLE. Es un edificio antiguo pero bien mantenido y me sorprendió la excelencia del sistema de calefacción por radiadores con circulación de agua, que si bien son los antiguos, es muy eficiente y agradable. El resto todo excelente, destaco especialmente el personal, siempre muy amable y predispuesto a responder las consultas de turistas. El desayuno está bien y tiene todo lo que desayuno.

Private bathroom had an upper window which didn't close completely and it was very cold at shower time. Breakfast pretty skinny without expresso coffee available even paying extra money. One small elevator. No parking in property; only paid parking outside property.

Na booking dizia que tinha estacionamento, porem chegando la tinha que pagar 25mil pesos por noite para deixar o carro em um estacionamento por perto. Tem que corrigir essa informação. NAO TEM ESTACIONAMENTO

Reviewed Apr 19, 2026Bel immeuble qui a gardé le charme de l'ancien. J'aime bien la salle du petit déjeuner et les patios. Nous y avons dormi 2 fois pendant notre séjour. 1 nuit dans une chambre quadruple, qui avait une petite terrasse intérieure. Chambre très spacieuse. Et nous y sommes revenus deux jours plus tard, dans une chambre triple. Un peu moins grande, mais confortable quand même. Le petit déjeuner est bien.
Le point faible est la salle de bain qui mériterait vraiment une bonne rénovation.

Reviewed Apr 19, 2026La amabilidad de todos. Siempre con una sonrisa. Solucionan los pedidos enseguida. Nos alojamos antes y después de nuestro viaje a Cafayate. Nos atendieron de forma fantástica. La ubicación es la mejor. Y los desayunos muy buenos! esta es la 3era vez que venimos y siempre nos atienden muy bien. Volveremos! PD: NO SE PIERDAN LA QUEBRADA DE SAN LORENZO, y las empanadas de Doña Elsa!!

Por mencionar algo que al ser centrico el ruido del transito puede ser incomodp si se dejan las ventanas abiertas.

Reviewed Apr 13, 2026Hier ist der Name Programm. Kolonialistisches Gebäude mit Stil, aber auch kleine Zimmer, einfache Einrichtung. Uns hat es gefallen. Dazu sehr gute Lage im Zentrum, gutes Frühstück.
Das Zimmerlicht hat Wackelkontakt, die Steckdosen auch! Im Stadtzentrum ist es nicht ruhig, Straßenlärm sollte man erwarten.
