Reviewed Sep 17, 2026Wir waren nur zum Schlafen im Zimmer, weil wir ein Seminar besucht haben. Wir haben das Auto stehen lassen und waren mit der Tram unterwegs. Einfach und praktisch zu erreichen.
Das nächste Mal wollen wir zwei Betten anstelle von King Size.

Location is a bit far away from center in Basel, nothing really to do around the hotel. Public transport is 12 min walk away.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026Tout était parfait. Prise de la chambre à 14h au lieu de 15h sans discussion. Checkin effectué à l'accueil en 5min seulement. Chambre impeccable, que du meublier massif et de qualité. Hygiène irréprochable. Séjour de 2 jours mais petit service nettoyage en chambre effectué au milieu du séjour, en tout discrétion et sans rien avoir demandé. Donc linges propres à notre retour de la piscine. Enorme centre aquatique accessible sans sortir de l'hôtel, donc chambre - piscine en 30 secondes sans passer par l'extérieur et achat du billet piscine directement à l'hôtel. Le tout pour un prix imbattable de 167 CHF la nuit en Suisse en 2026 en haute saison.

Reviewed Sep 7, 2026a la réservation, on nous dit que les bains sont dans l'hôtels, mais enfaite pas du tous, Nous devons payer en plus des suppléments, les réceptionniste ne cherche pas a comprendre ni a trouver une solution, ils parlent mal et ne veulent rien savoir. je ne retournerai plus dans cette établissement. Suite a ca, les bain d'eau gelé, vraiment pas sympa, et les jet étais éteint du coup a pars d'un bassin d'eau froide avec 2-3 bulle qui ce cour après, rien du tous. Moi qui suis toujours dans les divers bain de suisse et alentour, je n'ai jamais vu une chose aussi nul, je déconseille fortement ces bains.

Les spaghettis pour ma petite fille étaient beaucoup trop salés, elle n'a pas pu les manger. Nous avons signalé au personnel, mais aucune réaction. Elle a manger alors ma salade et moi j'ai mangé ces pâtes salés.... Pas génial :-( au petit déjeuner les pains toasts étaient encore congelés à l'intérieur et le jus d'orange était vide et personne à rempli la bouteille pour les clients de l'hôtel. Le restaurant m'a reçue

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026The room was very spacious and clean. The hotel provided a cot for my child which we really appreciated it. The hotel has an electric parking option which was also highly convenient. We had a nice stay!
I don't have any negative comments. Perhaps a microwave in The Market would have been nice to warm the sandwiches. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

Klimaanlage / lüftung wr nicht auszuschalten und führte zu starker zugluft. Auch bedauerlich dass es aussschliesslich für Autofahrende ausgelegt ist. Für Personen welche mit öffentlichem Verkehr Reisen ist der weg dorthin etwas umständlich und zu fuss zurück zu legen. (evt shuttle angebot?)

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026Leider waren wir mit unserem Aufenthalt überhaupt nicht zufrieden. Wir haben für eine Nacht ein King-Size-Zimmer gebucht und dafür 266 CHF bezahlt – entsprechend waren unsere Erwartungen deutlich höher. Beim Betreten des Zimmers fiel uns sofort ein muffiger Geruch auf, was keinen guten ersten Eindruck hinterliess. Zwar gab es eine Kaffeemaschine, jedoch ohne Kapseln – diese hätte man offenbar selbst mitbringen müssen, was für ein Hotel in dieser Preisklasse wirklich unverständlich ist. Auch der Kühlschrank war komplett leer, es gab weder eine Minibar noch kleine Snacks wie Chips oder Nüsse. Zusätzlich fanden wir es sehr umständlich, dass keine Badeschlappen zur Verfügung gestellt wurden, obwohl man diese für den Besuch im Aquabasilea gut hätte gebrauchen können. So musste man mit den normalen Schuhen hinüberlaufen. Auch das Essen konnte leider nicht überzeugen. Die französische Salatsauce wirkte wie ein Fertigprodukt (vergleichbar mit Thomy), und das Rindstatar war ebenfalls enttäuschend. Insgesamt sind wir für diesen Preis sehr enttäuscht. Leider hat das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für uns überhaupt nicht gestimmt.

We kwamen rond 19.30 uur aan. Bij aankomst werd ons verteld dat we pas om 21.00 uur konden dineren, omdat er op dat moment een grote groep aanwezig was en à-la-carte eten daardoor niet mogelijk was. Dat vonden we geen probleem. Om 21.00 uur meldden we ons bij het restaurant, maar toen moesten we alsnog een half uur extra wachten. Toen ik hiernaar vroeg, reageerde een medewerkster behoorlijk geïrriteerd, terwijl wij hier natuurlijk niets aan konden doen. Uiteindelijk was de teleurstelling compleet: pas om 22.00 uur konden we daadwerkelijk aan tafel. Blijkbaar had het personeel niet eens door dat er een grote groep gasten bij de bar stond te wachten. Dit vinden wij niet normaal. Bij een hotel in deze prijsklasse verwacht je dat de organisatie op orde is en dat je gewoon kunt dineren op de afgesproken tijd. Uiteindelijk bleken wij bovendien niet de enigen te zijn die hier last van hadden. Dat is erg teleurstellend en doet afbreuk aan de ervaring.
