This hotel had a really cozy, almost family-like atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was also quite good. Parking was another nice advantage. But the biggest benefit for us was the location: it’s within walking distance of the viewpoint where you can see the Harry Potter train crossing the bridge. That was amazing because we didn’t need to worry about parking or arrive very early. We could simply walk there in about 30 minutes and then walk back. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially if you’re planning to see the Jacobite train and Glenfinnan Viaduct.

Rona and Kirsty were super nice even before we got there. They allowed us in a bit earlier than check-in time and the whole B&B is comfortable, they are welcoming, breakfast is delicious, and they even have a Harry Potter corner :)

Nothing to improve, but just be aware that all the rooms are upstairs so if you´re bringing heavy luggage, keep it in mind. However, they did let my mum keep her suitcase downstairs in reception, and offered a helping hand to take it upstairs so everything was great!

Fenomenal para ir andando al viaducto y ver el tren de vapor

Tout était parfait. Gîte magnifique, hôte à nos petits soins, chambres superbes et confortables. Mention spéciale pour le petit-déjeuner qui était excellent et le meilleur de notre séjour en Écosse. Enfin pour les randonneurs, le gîte est extrêmement bien situé pour faire la boucle du Viaduc de Glenfinnan et voir le train d'Harry Potter passer en fin de matinée sans avoir à payer de parking.

Vi blev väl mottagna och kände oss som hemma direkt. Genuin, familjär och ombonad känsla över hela boendet. Kommer gärna igen!

Beautiful location surrounded by greenery, with the lovely sound of a stream nearby. Plenty of parking. The place has the charm and atmosphere of an old house, combined with fresh, modern finishes. A traditional and excellent cooked breakfast, ordered from the menu, with continental-style sweet treats on the side. Warm welcome and friendly service. A really lovely place to stay!

Sehr süßes B&B in Laufnähe zu Glenfinnan Viadukt. Schöne Zimmer, nettes Personal und super Frühstück.

Nicht ganz optimal ist, dass es in der Gegend kaum Möglichkeiten gibt Essen o.ä. zu gehen ohne Auto.

Das Gas ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet.

Die Matratzen waren nicht gut.

Very friendly hosts made me feel very welcome. Lovely sitting room in adjoining sunroom with views and a small bar. The breakfast I chose was excellent.

Nous avons passé qu’une seule nuit dans la Stage House mais nous avons tout de suite été comblé : un accueil des plus chaleureux avec un petit verre de whisky en prime, un emplacement parfait pour aller voir le Viaduc de Glenfinnan où se balader, un endroit calme et apaisant avec la rivière qui borde l’hôtel et une chambre propre et confortable. Nous avons adoré !

We absolutely loved our stay at this lovely B&B! The location is very convenient, especially if you’re planning to visit Glendalough, as it’s within walking distance of the train stop. The breakfast was also excellent — delicious and a great way to start the day.

One thing to keep in mind is that there isn’t much around the B&B, so it’s definitely worth arriving with some food or dinner already sorted. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend it!

The 2 ladies where very friendly, for breakfast you had a couple of choices to chose from. If you were going on a boat trip on Loch Shiel like i did, they gave me a nice breakfast in a paper bag. On arrival , a nice shot of whiskey :-)

La camera veramente "cozy" accogliente con i letto a baldacchino molto intima; la struttura piacevolissima con un salottino in veranda. Siamo stati accolti con un bicchierino di whisky Inoltre un angolo dedicato a Harry Potter simpatico, con occhiali bacchette e soprattutto mantelli e sciarpa, veramente carini. Considerando il b&b una colazione con piatti preparati al momento veramente ottima e presentati benissimo. Ci ha sorpresi!

Qualche appunto... Dal bagno, forse per la pioggia, arrivava un odore piuttosto sgradevole, inoltre la vasca aveva nella nostra camera la parte doccia un po' bassa. Qualche punto luce in più in zona scrivania non sarebbe male. Nel complesso la stanza risultava un po' buia ma capiamo che la struttura è antica e le divisioni e finestre sono quelle di un tempo

Die Lage ist perfekt um den Steam Train entspannt und ohne Parkplatzsorgen ansehen zu können. Schöne Zimmer, tolle Dusche und bequeme Betten. Das Frühstück war großartig, die Gastgeberin sehr nett, hat uns gute Tipps gegeben

Sehr gastfreundliche Rezeptionistin, Whiskey zur Begrüßung. Bestes Frühstück bis jetzt in einem B&B. Privater Parkplatz. Cozy Atmosphäre, sehr schöne Landschaft drumherum. Sitzmöglichkeiten in einer Art Lobby.

Fenster waren nicht sehr weit zu öffnen.

Wunderschön, absolut außergewöhnlich tolles Frühstück. Sehr nettes Personal. Bequemes Bett. Tolle Lage um zu Fuß das Glenfinnan Viadukt und die Umgebung zu erkunden. Freilaufende Hirsche zum beobachten. Nach Fort William mit dem Auto braucht man 30Min. Zur Begrüßung gab es ein Gläschen Whisky!

Die Fenster sind nicht ganz dicht, so kommen sehr viele von den kleinen Mücken ins Zimmer. Die stechen zwar nicht, aber ich musste erstmal auf Insekten Fang gehen. Unser Zimmer war zur Straße gerichtet und recht laut durch den Autoverkehr.

Breakfast menu was a delight to choose from and you get a freshly made hot breakfast! We were greeted with a welcome sip of whiskey which was a lovely gesture. The staff were very helpful and down to earth. Good stop to have made, to enjoy the quiet and the hike to the viaduct. So glad we stayed 2 nights and caught the highland games, and enjoyed the beautiful coastline in unrushed ways. Worth walking 10 mins to the left from the Stagehouse and having very good coffee from the little coffee truck.

the price was on the high side but we were travelling during the high season so it's expected.

La location, carina esternamente in stile scozzese con bowindow, negli anni scorsi era un hotel. In stile gli interni comuni : reception, sala colazione e lounge con camino. Molto gentile e accogliente la sig.ra proprietaria del b&b. Ottima la colazione con parte a buffet e un piatto caldo a scelta ( spettacolare il tipico piatto scottisch breakfast servito in casseruola di ghisa..... uova, patate, bacon e formaggio fuso sopra). A due passi dal viadotto del treno di Harry Potter

La camera un po' "old style" e relativo bagno. Andrebbero un po riviste. Il prezzo un po' sopra la media della zona forse per la vicinanza dell attrazione Harry Potter

El hotel es maravilloso. Desde que llegamos nos sentimos como en casa. Estuvimos una noche en una habitación triple. Súper acogedora, todo muy cuidado, hasta el último detalle. no dan servicio de cena pero te avisan con antelación para que lo tengas en cuenta en tus planes. Puedes comprar comida y llevártela a las zonas comunes, para nosotros fue un plan perfecto! La atención es fantástica, siempre pendientes de si necesitas algo. El desayuno espectacular, platos típico escoceses (de carta) sin coste adicional. Cuenta con parking privado frente al hotel.

El desayuno empieza a las 8h, que puede ser un poco tarde si quieres aprovechar bien el día. Pero te proponen alternativas como preparártelo para llevar. Nos quedaba un poquito alejado de nuestro itinerario ya que no teníamos que pasar justo por ahí, pero mereció la pena el "desvío", lo repetiríamos!

Rona and Kirsty the hosts were fabulous great for a conversation and laughs It was a pleasure to be invited to the fortnightly get together with the local Glenfinnan community for some drinks and laughs Rather than a hit and run mission , where a tourist drives in pays for parking takes a photo or two of the Steam Train passing over the Viaduct then takes off again, , stay a night or two, relax and the bonus all stress is removed as there is parking provided. Fabulous place to stay.

Un petit coin de paradis... Cette magnifique bâtisse de 1658 parfaitement mise en valeur! L'accueil par la propriétaire avec un verre de whisky et un grand sourire est super! Notre chambre parfaite, très bien décorée! La proximité avec le viaduc de Glenfinann est pratique et la balade en partant du B&B est très belle. Le petit déjeuner est excellent.

Kirsty and Rona are excellent hosts. Breakfast was also very good with a wide range of choices. The location is great for Loch Shiel as well as the Monument and Viaduct all are within an easy 10-15 min walk.Free parking is a good benefit as Glenfinnan can get very busy. Overall the property is highly recommend and and I look forward to returning in the future.

Overall the property has no significant negatives other than all rooms are on the upper floor so if you have mobility issues it may be something to contact Kirsty & Rona about.

The hosts are very friendly. They communicated to us all the information needed, way ahead of time. They promptly answered all our questions that we had before our trip. We were welcomed with a whisky drink. The room are very well maintained and clean. The rooms look exactly as shared in the website photos. The breakfast menu is awesome. They are located very close to the Viaduct view point. There is a walking trail by the house which can lead you the Viaduct viewpoint if someone wants to avoid the parking hassle .

Das Stage House B&B wird sehr liebevoll geführt und man wird herzlich aufgenommen. Wir haben nur eine Nacht dort verbracht bei der Durchreise zurück von den Äußeren Hebriden nach Edinburg. Liegt nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Glenfinnan Viaduct entfernt.

Ontzettend aardige host, schone en erg gezellige kamers. Comfortabele bedden en goed verzorgd ontbijt. Eigenaresse dacht fijn mee met avondeten opties en tips voor auto routes. Prachtige locatie!

Kirsty and Rona where super friendly and the perfect hosts. Our room was so comfy with a lovely modern shower and bathroom. Products were luxurious and smelt wonderful. The bed was really comfortable best night sleep. They had thought of everything in the room, for us as well as for our doggy. Breakfast was so tasty, we both had the Highland Grill. Really nice good quality local food. Great hotel definitely recommend staying here. Great location for Glenfinnan Viaduct

The weather! Only rainy day of the week but thats what makes Scotland beautiful. Little restricted on where to eat on the evening but if you don't mind a little drive out.
