We loved the general decor and the wonderful smell in the reception area. The staff were great and very helpful. This was the second visit to this hotel and it did not disappoint.

The only negative is that the bedrooms are very dark. We loved the boutique feel of the hotel and the decor generally which is contemporary but with a twist of old. However, the chocolate painted walls in the bedroom and the very dark wood furniture look stylish on entry but they make the room feel very dark and oppressive very quickly particularly with the low voltage warm white lights and the limited natural light. It also makes it difficult to get ready and put on makeup. I had to use the torch on my phone to look in the wardrobe and to use the safe. I would recommend that you either re-think the lighting or lighten up the paint colour of the room or both . Otherwise the hotel was lovely and we will definitely return.

El hotel ya está bastante envejecido. Nosotros lo cogimos con promoción y no pagamos lo que realmente piden por noche. Para nuestro gusto el hotel necesita una remodelación. Sobretodo la zona de piscina. Los lunes no abren el restaurante y no pudimos quedarnos a comer. Además se les olvidó comentárnoslo y nos enteramos a las 14,30 cuando quisimos comer ahí… a esa hora ya era tarde para buscar otro lugar…

Falta de personal para lo que cuesta por noche. Horario muy rigido restaurante que te obliga a salir a cenar fuera. Decía solo adultos y había un niño. Desayuno normal. La terraza de la habitacion era muy triste sin decoración y con un cañizo de protección a vecinos. Demasiado cerca de casas.

El hotel es muy confortable, con una decoración expectacular, no necesitas salir de las instalaciones. Es muy recomendable para parejas. Dentro del hotel tienes todos los servicios.

Op maandag was het restaurant gesloten waardoor we van het jitel weg moesten om in de middag iets te eten terwijl de mooie tuin met het heerlijke zwembad zich juist lenen voor een dagje bij het hotel.

Hotel is a little tired looking both inside and outside. Location is a good 5 minutes or more drive from main areas, located in a predominantly residential area. We enjoyed our stay and would return but price is over inflated for quality of accommodation

Breakfast was good, pool ok , but the room was very gloomy not enough lighting

The hotel was advertised as adults only, it wasn’t. The main restaurant was closed so you could only eat outside on the terrace by the pool, ok in the evening but uncomfortable in 32 degree heat at lunchtime. The menu did not change at all and was the same evening and lunch. The public area toilets could not be locked by the pool and dining room area. We had high expectations of the hotel having visited the area many times before and were disappointed, the hotel would be best described as tired.

Un muy buen lugar para desconectar que es lo que buscábamos, tranquilidad, cama super cómoda y muy limpio.

No le pongo un 10 a mi estancia en el hotel ya que comimos un par de veces en el restaurante del hotel y el camarero no fue para nada agradable. No digo que fuera mal educado, pero su trato no estuvo a la altura del hotel. En fin, supongo que tendría una mala semana.

The hotel is incredibly calming and tranquil, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. We had a wonderful stay. There was a great selection at breakfast, and as I’m coeliac, I really appreciated the care the team took to ensure all my food was completely gluten free. Rather than having to eat from the buffet, the lovely server brought me freshly prepared food from the kitchen each morning, which gave me real peace of mind. We also had a wonderfully relaxing massage with Melinda, which I would highly recommend booking if you’re staying at the hotel. We spent plenty of time enjoying the pool and loungers, and the mojito was one of the best I’ve ever had! Our extra-large bed was incredibly comfortable, and every member of staff was friendly, helpful, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Thank you all for such a fantastic stay. We can’t wait to come back!

The only positive value here is the free parking.

The hotel looks outdated and isn't clean. The towels are still dirty, even though we’ve asked to change them twice. The bathroom is spacious, but there is no rack in the shower for the soap and shampoo. The sink is clogged. The room’s fridge isn't working. When we informed reception, she claimed it’s meant to be like this because it’s a "minibar," and said if we have anything that needs to stay cold, we should take it to the main hotel bar at reception! The breakfast offers very limited choices and is poorly stocked.

Very quiet & zen. Gorgeous pool & large comfy beds. The hotel was great with my allergy and accommodates fully gluten free food as I have coeliac disease. The lady who served us breakfast was wonderful & accommodating. We had an amazing massage with Melenia, again friendly & professional.

Not a dislike but a small improvement - the pressure for the shower was quite low but we managed.

I have send this to the hotel owner, never received any answer. There a so many possibilities with this hotel but with this management it is doomed to close in a matter of time. Complaint manager actions Dear , In all our years of international travel, I have never had to do this before, and I hope I never have to do it again. I have never had to address a hotel owner directly regarding the actions of someone in a managerial position. Yesterday we arrived at your hotel and your manager looked at us as if we were some kind of insect. He then walked straight to his desk without a greeting. After closing the door, he cast another unnecessary glance at us from behind his window. We’ve just had a wonderful trip in Spain, staying in areas where people spoke only Spanish, and everyone always did their best to make themselves understood. To then have this experience in a hotel with such standards is truly disappointed. My husband spoke to your receptionist (who, by the way, is very friendly and professional) about it. I also attended hospitality school and know that it isn’t easy for her to respond to this either. She remained very professional, so unlike the manager, she actually knows what she’s doing. If it had been up to my husband, we would have left the hotel immediately. It was my choice to relax in a laid-back atmosphere after a long drive. I’ve been through a lot health-wise, so adult-only hotels are always a breath of fresh air for me.We take this kind of behavior very seriously. We are paying customers, and first impressions are everything. A simple “Buenas Dias” or “Ola” costs nothing and makes a world of difference in the customer’s experience and first impression. In any case, we will never return, and we won’t recommend it to others—which is a shame for the other friendly staff members.

La zona de jardín y piscina es una pasada, camas balinesas, jardín precioso, piscina de agua salada... El desayuno muy bueno.

Está muy bien ubicado porque está en un lugar en el que hay mucha tranquilidad, pero cerca de la playa y cerca del centro (en coche). Es un Hotel muy tranquilo donde puedes relajarte y disfrutar esa tranquilidad. Las habitaciones son grandes, por lo menos las que nos tocó, los colchones son muy cómodos, tienen dos almohadas para poder elegir. Las toallas son buenas y secan bien. El aire acondicionado puedes poner la temperatura que tú quieras o quitarlo. El personal del Hotel es muy amable, están pendientes en todo momento.

Se echa en falta en la habitación, una pequeña nevera. Se echa de menos también, algo más de luz en el baño para maquillarse y algún espejo de aumento. La habitación estaba limpia, pero la zona exterior donde está la piscina se echa en falta más mantenimiento y más limpieza, la piscina estaba sucia,con manojos de pelos enteros flotando por el agua, mucha suciedad en el fondo y los bordes de la piscina estaban verdosos, las hamacas algunas estaban bastante sucias, le haría falta una buena limpieza y un buen mantenimiento a toda la zona exterior, ya que está muy bien enfocada tiene mucha vegetación que hace que haya sombras y se esté relajado pero le falta mantenimiento. El desayuno está bien, de buena calidad, pero demasiado caro para lo que se ofrece.

no es que no me gustará, pero podría mejorar la zona del bar, sacarla donde la piscina y bajar los precios de las consumiciones. El restaurante, aunque estaba todo buenísimo, tenía poca variedad

El lugar es tranquilo, apartado de todo y el desayuno buffet nos gustó bastante.

Al entrar a la habitación me dio olor a cerrado y además vimos que nos habían dado una habitación de dos camas y no de una (esta petición estaba hecha con mucha antelación) lo comentamos con recepción y nos dijeron que no había disponibilidad en el hotel, lo habría entendido si el hotel estuviera a media o completa capacidad, sin embargo, no era así, ya que lo pudimos comprobar tanto en los desayunos como en la cocina. La habitación es antigua, creo que para el precio que se paga se necesita mayor mantenimiento y algunas mejoras. No estaba del todo limpia, había polvo en las lámparas, las bases de los colchones en los bordes estaban sucias y los cristales de salida a la terraza todavía tenían los dedos marcados de los anteriores huéspedes. La iluminación de la habitación es escasa. Por otro lado, la piscina también requiere mayor limpieza, si bien es cierto que está llena de vegetación (y eso provoca que sea difícil mantenerla limpia del todo) no justifica que la marca del agua esté verdosa debido a la falta de limpieza, las hamacas y camas balinesas también necesitan cuidado y limpieza. Podrían avisar si los días que vas a hospedarte el restaurante está cerrado, nuestra intención era cenar allí y no pudimos, así que sería un detalle si avisaran. Para nosotros, no merece el precio que hemos pagado.

Mal mantenido, casposo, sin cobertura móvil ni datos. Personal fraudulento, nos mintieron. Dejaron deuda en otro hotel.

Estafadores. Cobraron la estancia 8 días antes de la entrada al hotel, pero no reservaron las habitaciones. Nos reubicaron en otro hotel cercano de otra cadena asegurando que corrían con la diferencia de precio (1000€). Una vez en el nuevo hotel, nos dicen que no lo pagan. Nos negaron la hoja de reclamaciones, lo cual es un delito.

La piscina y la vegetación circundante son realmente encantadoras. Los espacios amplios y, en general, bien decorados. La atención del personal.

El buffet de desayuno no corresponde con el de un hotel de esa categoría y precio. Lo que había estaba bueno pero era escaso y poco variado. El salón en el que se sirve el desayuno bastante desangelado, a pesar de incluir una exposición de cuadros para rellenar.

This property has great potential but it really let itself down. Some of the staff need training in hospitality! My room was lovely and clean - 5/5 to housekeeping - with great facilities and my room led straight onto the pool area. But it was dark - I had to use the torch on my phone to see inside the wardrobe. Check-in was 4pm (fair enough) and was a long wait from when we arrived. We did ask if there was anything they could do but they weren’t terribly forthcoming. We did have lunch there one day and the food was excellent. The pool area was neglected during our stay. Filthy sunbed cushions and the pool wasn’t cleaned the whole time we were there. Used towels were not removed from the beds and glasses left on the tables. Taxis were challenging to get into town but it was fiesta time (that the staff didn’t know very much about !) First impression was great but lasting impression disappointment. As I was frequently told at school, must try harder!

It is a beautiful hotel, but it seems the hotel is struggling. 15 euros for a small bottle of water annoyed me Most facilities seemed not really to be expecting guests. Lady at the pool was very friendly. No dinner place open Swissotel needs to keep a close eye on this one

I had to leave the room timely although there were few guests in the hotel.

I’ve never written a review like this but feel really strongly that others should be warned against staying in this hotel. I’ve been several times in the last three years but this year the difference has been astounding and we will not be returning. My three main points of complaint are how rundown the hotel is, how poor the food & drink is, and how rude the majority of the staff are. Other more specific complaints: - Breakfast was particularly sub-standard - and I was charged nearly €40 for one person. - Despite booking multiple spa treatments six weeks in advance (to a total cost of over €600), I was told on arrival that the spa was no longer open during the week and that there was likely no record of the bookings. It took over 24 hours for anyone to reply to me about this, despite asking at reception several times during that time. - I messaged the hotel via WhatsApp (as I was encouraged to do when booking) to inform them we were staying to celebrate my husband’s birthday. I was offered cava on arrival as a gesture but this did not happen.  - The lifts were broken which made my stay (I am heavily pregnant) difficult. When we were shown to our room, no one offered to carry my bags despite the stairs and my obvious bump.  - Empty mini bar despite this being listed as an amenity when booking. - No conditioner (fairly standard to expect this at a hotel) - The drain in the bath was blocked which meant the bath filled with water while showering.   - I asked reception to book a taxi to take us to town for a dinner reservation, I was assured it was booked but when we came to reception it was not there and it eventually arrived 20 minutes later - after a lot of agitation and rudeness from the man at reception. We were very late for dinner.  When I emailed the hotel to share my complaints, their response was to accuse me of being malicious and inaccurate. This feels particularly worrying when the complaints concern the wellbeing of a pregnant woman.

Beautiful building and interior which was well furnished and looked after. Gardens and ground well kept. Reception staff were lovely; the young girls ran around all day and night staff very friendly and helpful.

Despite about 20 sun beds there were only about 6 cushions, all in a poor state and three of which were disgusting. Towels left out overnight and into next day and side tables not wiped. No toilet paper in the pool toilet mid morning and no soap in the reception toilet. Our bedroom was lovely and very spacious but painted a sludge brown meaning light had to be on all day. The same in the entrance where the long length mirror was. Man running pool bar quite surly and unhelpful; when asked if we could order lunch he told us he was finishing his coffee. And then we asked where it was he said he had to lay the tables despite no one else being around. In the end we were served at 2:15!!

our room was great - huge bed, walk in shower and nice balcony. There is oversized furniture around the hotel and it looks really great but it's not all very well kept. The staff were really nice, just a bit slow. The pool looks lovely but there is a green rim around it, lots of flies and dead worms so we didn't use it which is such a shame. Great having no children around! Lovely restaurant just down the hill (10 minute walk). This hotel has the potential to be really nice.

The pool, as mentioned above. Again, it could be absolutely beautiful. I would really have liked to have more water in the room and maybe water dispensers around the hotel/pool. I had to go water hunting! The staff were so nice but so slow mostly because they were covering different areas of the hotel. It's out of town a bit but Moraira is a 30 minute walk, downhill so not the end of the world. Some of the rooms were dark but ours was great.

Un hotel de estas características debería tener un servicio de restuarante mejor. Comimos allí, y estaba todo muy bueno, pero tardaban mucho en servir los platos, y muchas veces no había nadie para atender a los clientes. Un hotel así no debe tener estos fallos.
