Provider-sourced guest reviews.
The location was our choice and the bay was perfect for what we were looking for. The food & staff were excellent.
A couple of the pools need refurbishing, missing tiles and grubby, the drinks at breakfast lunch and dinner could be managed better with more stations and staff to serve that many guests. There were several guests including ourselves that had several issues with the Aircon in the rooms. The brand new apartment block we stayed in after paying for an upgrade was disappointing. Shower did not drain, no toilet roll holders, no towel rail/hooks. Toilet seat was loose, the only way the Aircon worked properly was to turn it off completely!!! Seriously !! We had to ask for beach/pool towels & had to pay €10 euros deposit for each towel. Make sure you request the 2 small water bottles in your room to be replenished each day ( or they won’t be )

First let me say that I am writing this review from the perspective of an older couple on an all-inclusive holiday. If we were a couple with young children, I would rate this hotel higher as there are good facilities by the pool and entertainment for them.
For us, the adults-only area was minimal with not enough available sunbeds. We found the poolside too crowded and opted to go to the beach where there are adequate good, free sunbeds attached to the hotel. The beach is down a steepish hill; we made a decision not to traipse up the hill for lunch and free drinks and opted to use a small beach bar, not connected to the hotel, for a small lunch and drinks. This made for a pleasant day; we were still in time for early drinks at the hotel pool bars where the staff provided great service. After dinner there was often good entertainment in one of the bars. The hotel could not fulfil our request for a double-bedded room. The air conditioning did not initially work and there was a crack in the balcony window. We did not particularly enjoy the buffet meals in the main restaurant; the food was of an acceptable, but not exciting, standard. Better were the three a la carte restaurants in which you can eat: Asian, Greek and Mediterranean that provided a restricted but tasty menu.
Plenty of pools and sun-loungers, easy access to both beach spots. Buffett food had a good variety and tastes nice. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There’s a few slides which are fun.
The cocktails aren’t great, they taste pretty bad, same with their Coca Cola - the beer does the job. The double beds are just two singles pushed together.
The location and staff
The whole hotel is tired and is screaming for an update. My parents who are 87 had no air con in their room for the whole stay. They were eventually given a fan :( My nephew, fiancee and baby had to move room 3 times due to ants everywhere - even in the babies nappy! (It was their wedding we were there for) The hotel is listed someplaces as a 5 star and others as a 4 star I would only give it a max of 3 star
I pasti erano vari e piuttosto buoni.
The food was decent. The staff was helpful. The beach was great.
This wasn’t a good value for the money. The hotel is advertised and priced as a 5 star hotel however the services and facilities are absolutely not even a 3 star hotel. I would never go back. Also many services were not available in the all inclusive package. The hotel is old and poorly maintained. The only two bars that offer all inclusive services are the two pool bars with instant drinks and coffee. Most facilities of the hotel are not air conditioned and smell like sewage. The beach bar is a pay bar. The lobby bar is a pay bar and only opens at 5 pm. No coffee machine in the entire resort except at the lobby bar which opens and 5 and is paid. The rooms have no kettle. No hair dryer and they smell of cigarrete. We were really disappointed.
Lokalizacja fantastyczna!
Hotel powinien zwiększyć uwagę na housekeeping. Jest trochę do poprawy..
Nothing
Poor staff attitude Description of luxury did not meet reality - tatty and dated rooms, unclean and foul smelling facilities, lack of working air-con in any room Food basic and bland All inclusive offer limited
Big resort, lots of pools, close to Lindos town, staff were lovely. Bed was really comfortable. Spa treatments by Tincy were amazing!
Poor soundproofing between bedroom and corridors
The entire resort needs to be renovated. It's not worth the money and definitely not a 5-star resort.
Location only
Old and dirty. Old used towels. Old rooms. Mosquitos everywhere. Air conditioning doesn’t work in most rooms. No safe! You have to pay for the safe in a 5 stars hotel!!
Ottimo cibo, posizione comoda con accesso diretto spiaggia, resort tranquillo e rilassante. Lo staff molto cordiale ,gentile e disponibile.
Migliorerei le pulizie nelle camere.
This hotel is ideal if you’re looking to escape from busy routines and fully relax. The environment is quiet, the design is elegant, and everything is focused on comfort. We loved how peaceful everything felt, especially around the pool and lounge areas. It’s the kind of place where time slows down and you can truly enjoy every moment.
The pools were clean and spacious, and we always found a spot to relax. Having direct access to the beach was a huge plus and made the experience even better.
Clean, good food options and lots of pools.
Some staff were rude
Prachtige omgeving
Airconditioning werkt zeer slecht
The view and the and the location was great, excellent views from the top floor sea view room
Room was ok, however bath looked a bodge job and every time had a shower water ran out the bathroom. Not the best welcome from the staff who charged us extra tax although was already paid through booking.com so had to go back next day for refund. The bar lobby area near reception is empty all of the time such a nice room to chill in however empty due to having no air con. Pool areas ok but needs work. For the money you pay is poor and certainly not a self acclaimed 5 stars resort. Have to pay for pool towels with no fresh ones each day.
We booked this resort hoping for a relaxing holiday, but it turned out to be so much more. The facilities are extensive, with plenty of options for both relaxation and entertainment. The staff were always attentive and made sure everything ran smoothly. The whole experience felt well organized and enjoyable from start to finish.
From the moment we arrived, everything felt easy and enjoyable. The combination of location, facilities, food, and service made this a holiday we would definitely repeat.
Lovely staff
Liked everything
What really stood out during our stay was the level of service. The staff were always approachable and willing to help with anything we needed. The atmosphere throughout the resort was warm and welcoming, making us feel comfortable and at home during our entire stay.
This hotel offers the best of both worlds. You can relax by the beach or enjoy the many pools and activities throughout the day. The staff were always friendly and welcoming, and the overall vibe of the resort made our holiday feel special. We truly enjoyed every moment.
Food decent/ good wide variety plenty swimming pools and near beach
NO AIR CONDITIONING IN ROOMS Lots of mosquitoes in rooms despite doors being closed throughout ( i personally killed at least 30 mosquitoes and have over 50 bites) - i think they must have been getting in through the Air Con Units
The themed restaurants
No AC, unclean, not 5 Star
LA PISCINA EXEMPLAR, LA ANIMACIO ESPECTACULAR UNA TAL ONA FENT AGUAGIM I VOLEY
EL TERRA DE LA PISCINA RELLISCA
One of the highlights of our stay was the amazing staff. Everyone was kind, helpful, and always smiling. They really made us feel welcome and added a personal touch to our holiday experience.
The resort is set in a stunning location surrounded by nature and sea views. It has a very calm and pleasant atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind. Walking around the property feels peaceful, and there are plenty of spots to sit and enjoy the scenery. It’s the ideal place to disconnect and recharge.
Great facilities, friendly staff, lovely room
The resort is surrounded by greenery and beautiful Mediterranean gardens. It creates a calm and peaceful environment where you can truly unwind and enjoy your holiday.
The food selection was impressive, with a wide range of international and local dishes. Drinks, snacks, and entertainment were all included, making it very convenient and enjoyable throughout our stay.
Arti jūra. Geras maistas.
Reikėtų atsinaujinti.
There is always something happening at the resort. From sports like tennis and volleyball to entertainment and shows in the evening, you’ll never get bored. It’s great for both couples and families.
If you’re expecting international 5 star level of comfort and service, this is not the hotel for you. Their advertising of 5 star unfortunately is a lie. Read the other reviews and you’ll see this same comment over and over. This is the hotel for you if: you’re travelling with family and want a single place for all to be together. Many pools (although cold in early May), arcade games, food for kids (pasta, pizza), beautiful views, comfortable and clean rooms.
However, the hotel lacks basic maintenance (needs paint, lights to be fixed with some paths back to bedroom in full darkness, broken and dirty Sun beds, unclean common areas, unfinished gardens, broken gym equipment). Feedback given in reception led to nowhere. No attention to detail. Construction works while you’re trying to relax in the pool. No proper service - staff seemed untrained. Food quality is inconsistent - poor buffet options, lack of food labels, and you shouldn’t expect much of the specialty restaurants either. Plates are always wet and you have to wipe them yourself - very often plates are also dirty. Drinks are terrible quality - watered down wine, instant coffee always (even when they say it’s filter), bad soda, sugary “juices”. In sum, very little value for money. The hotel unfortunately is far from town - we thought we wouldn’t need to go there much because it’s all inclusive, but we ended up going every day just to get a decent coffee or meal. It costs €15 euros every time you get a taxi to go, and another €15 to return to the hotel. The old town of Lindos is absolutely lovely and we wish we had just stayed there.
Our room was spacious, bright, and very comfortable. Waking up to the view of the Aegean Sea was simply unforgettable. The design felt elegant and relaxing.
Lovely beach and views, nice clean and modern room
The food in the buffet restaurant was not up to a very good standard at all. Drinks aren’t included in à la carte restaurants
This resort is ideal for making special memories with friends or family. There’s something for everyone, and the overall experience feels complete and enjoyable.
The rooms were well equipped, and the resort offers everything you might need, including spa services, sports facilities, and entertainment. It made our stay very comfortable.
From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beautiful setting of the resort. The views over the bay are simply breathtaking, especially during sunrise and sunset. The combination of beach access and multiple pools made every day feel different and exciting. The food variety was excellent, and we always found something delicious to enjoy.
This place truly offers everything you need for a perfect holiday. Whether you want to spend time by the pool, explore the beach, or enjoy the entertainment, there is always something to do. The all-inclusive concept is very convenient, and the quality of food and drinks exceeded our expectations.
We really enjoyed the different restaurants available. The buffet had lots of variety, and the themed restaurants added something special to the experience. Everything was fresh and tasty.
The hotel is close to Lindos, which is a lovely place to visit. At the same time, it feels private and peaceful. You get the best of both convenience and tranquility.
We had such a wonderful stay at this resort. The location right by the beach is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the bay. The variety of pools and activities kept us entertained all day, and the all-inclusive food was delicious with so many options. The atmosphere felt relaxing yet lively at the same time.
Everything was spotless and well taken care of. I really appreciated the attention to detail.
As others have stated didn't get room i booked, although I emailed hotel prior arrival to confirm. Arrived late at night, went to reception but told to come back next day. Lady at reception confirmed my e mail but said room booking was admin error! Eventually moved to a swim up room. No hairdryer. Reception advised not all rooms have hairdryers, yet they claim to be a 5 star hotel. I was told to buy one from the supermarket! Food lukewarm, drinks awful. Ended up eating in Lindos most nights. At checkout charged for bottle of wine we already paid for. I asked to see copy of their receipt, it wasn't my signature but no apology from reception.
My friend and I stayed at this hotel as it was highly recommended by Tui. In reality it was extremely poor, rundown & dirty. Our room was basic but clean, the balcony was filthy. We immediately spoke to the Receptionist and requested another room but they said this wasn't possible. The rest of the hotel was dirty with broken tiles and a lot of basic maintenance and cleaning required. The drinks from the bar were disgusting. Wine poured from a pump and dispensed into paper cups. How Tui rate this hotel 5 stars is a joke and a con.
My fiancé and I were looking forward to the holiday of a lifetime, but instead we ended up with a nightmare straight out of Fawlty Towers. It honestly got to the point where you couldn’t make it up. We arrived late at night and were taken to “our” room. It was beautiful and at first we were delighted — until we stepped onto the balcony and noticed a very obvious lack of a swim-up pool. We had paid a significant amount extra for this, both as a treat and for health reasons. We walked back up the steep hill to the main hotel to report it, only to be told there were no managers available overnight — which already felt ridiculous. Tired from travelling, we made an appointment to return in the morning. After what turned out to be our one decent night’s sleep, we headed to reception and were met with several other couples already waiting with various complaints. We waited over an hour for our turn. The manager was apologetic and offered us two alternative rooms to choose from. Luckily, I picked the one that faced the sun — but it was sheer luck. Then began the non-stop disasters. We were plagued by mosquitoes and bitten relentlessly. The fridge didn’t work, the outside area was dirty, and the walk down to our section was full of broken tiles, trip hazards, and unfinished, damaged areas. A few days in, our neighbour and I noticed that the pool outside our rooms seemed to be draining. We reported it and it appeared to stop — only to wake up the next morning to find it almost empty. This was on top of mould, filthy tiles, and more damage. I have many photos of all of this. To be fair, the food was decent and the servers were friendly and pleasant. The drinks were a bit grim but bearable. I became too ill to use any of the larger pools, but my partner said they were okay. However, there were many drainage and plumbing issues throughout the hotel, including our shower smelling like a urinal and the apartment opposite us having a sewage leak from upstairs. The problems became a running joke between us and other guests, but the truth is they really did spoil what was meant to be a relaxing break after a very hard few months. The island itself is beautiful and well worth visiting — just not the Royal Lindos. At best, it’s a 3-star hotel, nowhere near the 5-star standard we were promised and expecting. Many areas looked dirty, uncared for, and badly in need of a proper upgrade. Our room and bed were fortunately clean, but I heard horror stories from other guests who weren’t as lucky. I honestly can’t emphasise this enough: expect a 3-star experience and you’ll be fine, but 5-star it absolutely is NOT.
Paid for a certain room type and was placed in another. When I queried it at reception I was told I had been “upgraded”. I think not, we ended up changing rooms twice and stayed in the third room offered only because it had storage space. This hotel is falling apart. Only one electric socket in the room is not five star, electric cables hanging out of the wall is not five star, no plugs in the sink is not five star. Very limited storage space, cupboard doors won’t full open, furniture falling apart, no shampoo in holder, door key card didn’t work, no water in the fridge, WiFi keeps dropping out. I could go on and on and on. This hotel would be hard pressed to deserve even two stars, and I told the manager to her face. She looked me straight in the eyes and said it was five stars. The annoying thing is, because they label it “5 stars” you have to pay five star tourist tax which is €15 per night, so that is an additional €210 to be paid in cash on arrival. Whereas, if it were correctly labelled as a two star hotel it would be an additional €7 per night. Loud BOOM BOOM music plays all day by the poolside and in the restaurants. One night we all went for a themed dinner in one of the restaurants, we couldn’t hear ourselves talking. We asked politely if they could lower the music so we could hear each other, we were ignored. The restaurant food is only ever luke warm, the alcoholic drinks are awful. There were eight of us in our group and we were all in agreement when we said we would never return. The only good thing I can say about this place is that the poolside bar girls at the evening bar were really nice and pleasant. Otherwise I would warn everyone to steer well away from this expensive two star hotel masqurading as a five star hotel.
The open buffet, the beach, the staff, the massage place, the night shows and the cats!
Rooms could've been cleaner. They don't use a vacuum cleaner, only sweep. I didn't like the sign of "do not feed the cats" at the bus stop. The reception could give information about the bus stops and hours before you ask for it.
Exceptionally poor standard of hotel. Visited as a family of 4 generations. Hotel is not fit for purpose. Hazardous areas throughout the hotel. Leaks in bar areas causing floors to become very slippy, roof fell down in pool bar during stormy weather. Pools dirty, no lifeguards. Food fine but repetitive. Drinks poor stick to beer. Stench of sewerage at pool bar and adjacent to our seaview junior suite. Needs fully refurbished definitely would not recommend not suitable for young children. Left with bug bites , headache due to falling down steps , everyone of us was sick at some point. The staff in restsaurants and bar were nice but had an air of desperation for the season to end and run for the hills. I dont blame them. Not for the faint hearted but if you like a challenge of endurance then this may be the hotel for you !
The resort is lovely. The areas are clean, the rooms are clean. There is a choice of pools and the slides pool is located at the back. Shame they are not at the front but it is only a short walk to them just cannot not be seen from the 3 main pools. The food that on offer was one of the best buffet I have had. The choice of food was really good. The restaurant was very cleanThe snacks were much the same as any resort pizza chips doughnuts. We really enjoyed our stay. Lindos village is a short taxi ride away. Full of shops for gifts of varying price ranges. Plenty of restaurants something for everyone I think. All in all it was a really good holiday. Good holiday for relaxing. The entertainment was ok not great but I suppose it depends on what is expected. All the staff were very hardworking probably not the friendliest but they worked very hard. Some did smile and say hello especially the young man serving tea in the morning. (George?)
We stayed at Lindos Royal as a family of 13, 3 generations ranging from 5 to 70 years old, staying in 4 apartments. The hotel was superb, rooms kept very clean and tidy as well as the whole complex. Lots of different pools and areas to sit and bars for snacks and drinks. It was my first experience of booking all inclusive and this type of holiday in 50 years, and I wasn't sure it would be for me, but I have to say that it was fantastic, food was plentiful, a huge range and great quality throughout. The drinks are ok and available as you want them. The staff were wonderful and attentive, and nothing was too much trouble. The temperature was a perfect 25 deg C daytime, and 18 deg evenings. We didn't book the holiday as a package and the hotel cost was surprisingly good booked separately. I would recommend the Lindos Royal to anyone.
We booked this holiday through EasyJet and as always the flights and transfers were excellent. arriving at the hotel it felt clean, classy and five star and I am sure in It’s day it was. We were given a family room and not a superior double, the hotel staff were very good and swapped our room the next day. The rooms are a little tired but clean, although there is an awful smell in the bathroom most of the time and it wasn’t me.. Note - 25€ for a safe key. Remember also as classed as first class, the tourist tax is 15€ per night per room. Our first full day (Sunday 26th October) breakfast was good and there was a grill station for fresh eggs, omelettes and sausages. There was plenty of hot food and it felt like it was to be a good week food wise. Well by Tuesday the grill station had closed and by Wednesday the Pizza & pasta station had closed. The food choices become less and less as the week went on and to be frank, not acceptable for any hotel, let alone a 5 star. Coffee station was closed all week, there was only one themed restaurant available to book. Nice food but was very rushed. Literally stopped eating the starter and the main was out. Oh and by the way, you have to pay for the drinks in the theme restaurants. There were plenty of sunbathing areas and the pools were clean and tidy, the hotel had a great outdoor set up but as the week went on, they literally shut everything down around us. The kid’s entertainment disappeared on the Monday. The evening entertainment was ok but held in a horrible small room with very poor choice of lighting and mould on the ceiling. In fact all activities were non existent after Monday apart from at night. The all inclusive alcohol was shocking, to the point we did not bother and went out all but two nights of the 7. You can buy good alcohol from the bar upstairs but let’s be honest, you go on an all inclusive for a reason. Unless you paid for a drink, all drinks were served in plastic beakers, even in the evening; which we’ve not had before. As the week went on and the hotel was shutting down around us, we felt like we were getting in the way. Our water in the room stopped working twice and the hot water stopped twice also. The TV was on the blink and a couple of other small issues cropped up. There was constant building work taking place from day one. With drilling, grinding and banging. There were building supplies in our corridor from the day we arrived. The beach area set up for the hotel, with sun beds and umbrellas were all taken away by the Tuesday also. There is a shop on site and a mini market down by the beach. Lindos town is stunning and we had 3 lovely meals out in total. The views from the hotel and across Lindos (separate bay) are absolutely stunning and well worth some of the pain but if you book this hotel in the very last week of the season, just be prepared. And before the holiday snobs, say what do you expect for the last week. We do the last week every year but have never had anything like this. Would like to say the reception staff, porters and cleaners were absolutely lovely and very helpful. 3 days before shutting down, the fire extinguishers were stripped from the walls, that is very concerning. Our last day and we were due out of the hotel until 10pm. They literally lifted the tables, chairs, sun beds, umbrellas, water coolers and anything that moved. Even the bins and put them into storage. All bars near the pools were closed and stripped bare and we had to go up to the main bar by reception for any drinks or food. This started by 10am, with the place emptied by lunchtime. Absolutely shocking. I don’t find pleasure in giving such harsh feedback and if you look at other reviews, I have given on many other trips, I always try to be fair and consistent. The photo of the food, is the food on offer on the last day due to shutting everything down. I hope the hotel takes the time to read this and not take bookings in the last week of the season. On a final note and although I have already stated, the staff were absolutely lovely people.
Die sauberen Wege und vielen Pools - aber
Essen miserabel - laut wie am Ballermann. Vor allem an zwei nebeneinanderliegenden Pools zwei verschiedene Musik! Da wird man irre! Das gehört ins Angebot rein! Keine Ruhe - Strand gruselig.
Very disappointed in this hotel it’s tired and needs upgrading. The food was awful and cold, Iv never ever had such bad food at an all inc hotel and we stay at a few every year. Drinks again awful we ended up paying for drinks in the lobby bar, you couldn’t even sit in the calypso bar due to the vile smell. I’d never stay here again.
On arrival looks amazing but you will notice you are isolated to a degree,so let's start with the room nice clean but needs a bit of tlc. Open the door to our swim up pool looks great but again dirty in places and needs new loungers.Broken light and wires coming out of wall. Reported hair dryer not working but never fixed or replaced. Food, well don't think I had a hot meal all week the variety wasn't too bad but quality was lacking. Drinks were average but limited selection. The themed restaurants please avoid, the planters are full of cigarette ends and cat s..t The staff, helpful and polite. So overall the hotel is not a five star hotel far from it to honest,if they invested a bit of money and followed the theme of the bar where you are charged to drink (not all inclusive) this could be a good 4 star hotel but at the moment it is lacking in so many ways.
As the title of this review suggests, this should not be advertised by the UK travel companies as a 5 star hotel. 3 star at best. There are some features of the hotel that make it look and feel like a 5 star. The reception/lobby looks great as you arrive and the staff are very helpful. The main restaurant also looks great as the photos demonstrate. However our room was very tired and in need of decoration/updating. We booked a family room with garden view. The wardrobes looked like they were pieced together with leftover panels from an IKEA pack. The bathroom was also tired - the shower was ok but it looked like I grouted the tiles (FYI I am awful at DIY!). That being said, the beds were comfy and our towels were changed everyday. It did the job though. The pool areas are also in need of updating. Water from both the pools and the rain had a tendency to gather in places and the tiles when wet were very slippery. There were also loose tiles in the pools and around the pool areas. The waterslides kept the kids entertained but there were muddy areas and again, slippery tiles. The slides are also far from the main pool and bar areas. The pool bar was nice with a good atmosphere but again was quite tired and in need of some TLC. The nicest bar in the hotel which looked part of a '5 star' resort is the bar behind the lobby. However, this bar is not part of the all inclusive offering as it was serving premium drinks (Mythos beer, international branded spirits etc.) The location of the hotel is good. Nice and fairly isolated but close to beautiful Lindos which is a 12 euro cab ride away. As mentioned before, the main restaurant area is a nice place to eat. The food was generally varied and tasty catering for all tastes (the freshly made pizza is excellent) and the grill area had different offerings each evening. However some of the buffet food was lukewarm at times. Same can be said for breakfasts and lunch. The desserts and cakes were excellent and varied from day to day. The afternoon food at the pool bar was good for a quick snack. Pizza and fries on offer every day, with a third offering of either burgers, nuggets or gyros depending on day. For the facilities, towels are a 10 euro deposit, the safe in the room costs extra and there are no irons and ironing boards in the rooms. The latter 2 items I would normally expect to be standard for a 5 star hotel. It is a very short downhill walk to the pebbly beach. Be weary of the larger rocks in the water by the shore but once you're in, the water is crystal clear and great for snorkeling and fish spotting. To summarise, we did enjoy our week stay. The hotel ticked most boxes and the staff are wonderful but it is missing the 'wow factor' you'd expect for 5 stars. But maybe that's me being picky.... We did enjoy our week stay
Great hotel, spa is great, clean room, staff were amazing, food was great, beach is nice only a short walk, the night entertainment was good.
Oh dear. This is not a nice hotel. There were so many issues with this hotel… the rooms are dated with numerous issues, grubby collapsed mattress, and more . The hotel is aching for a good clean. The food is low standard. The drinks are undrinkable. The staff are moody & atmosphere chronic. There is absolutely zero entertainment, and what there is, Is not advertised anywhere. The one night we managed to get a booking at the so called themed restaurant amazingly the kids disco was on.. there was a battle of the music btwn the restaurant & the disco The meal 3 course lasted 35 mins as they were keen to get us in & out. It was the Greek night and they served a very small child’s portion for the main… we left hungry. The women on reception are extremely standoffish… The MANAGEMENT both restaurant & GM, did not once say good morning or attempt to engage with any of the guests ! If you are coming here there is the hotel grand next door quiet but standards are much more as to what we were expecting or an Adult Blue TUI hotel down the road that offers 1st class luxury..
On our last day today, so positives, food wonderful, the main buffet is great and plenty choice for being all inclusive and resort has a nice feel to it. Many pools to choose from and slides pool is great fun for all ages. Staff all friendly and hard working and hotel is clean. Our family room in the (suite) 2000s block has gorgeous glass balcony and has been 70% refurbished with only the dated bathroom and old style doors remaining. That said the bathroom is huge. Views from hotel are amazing and you can book three restaurants per 7 night stay. These are worth going to, however, being vegetarian seemed to be an issue at the themed restaurants, which surprised me. Housekeeping does a great job and the resort cats are gorgeous and well behaved and the cats add to the ambience. Staying in October you can get a sun-bed easily, I don’t think this would be the case in the summer months, there are not enough for the hotel being full by far. The new reception and bar area is amazing and if this is the shape of things to come then this resort could be one of the best on Rhodes and the resort does need it. The spa is fantastic with well priced treatments and the lady who runs it is amazing. Things which need improvement, the all inclusive drinks are not good, so much so after our 5th night I could no longer have them, been to a few inclusive resorts and never had drinks like these. The pool bar wasps and flies were everywhere, there is no need for this. The wooden awnings and canopies across all restaurants are badly worn and need attention. There is a private cove area and grassed sun-bed area which is in a stunning spot, however, this is all tired and a mess., which is sad as it could be stunning. You’ll see many reviews mentioning slippery floors, the floors are slippy across the whole hotel and pool area drainage is very bad, so much so that you walk through stagnant water to get to your sun-bed. You actually watch people tentatively walking and almost slipping all the time, easily rectified with better drains and rubber mats for main walkways. My husband fell coming out of our room after a light shower of rain, so all tiled areas are hazardous. If you have small children, be aware, there is a-lot of glass across the whole resort too and the resort is wide open, anyone can walk in and the surrounding hotels, which are owned by the same group, have corridors/doors connecting them all. On the second last day we had money stolen from our locked hotel safe, the same day that we had lots of issues with our door key, this was disappointing as I had only read of locked safe thefts happening in Turkey. There is such a large gap under the room door that it would not be hard to unlock the room, and the safes have a staff master code for emergencies etc, but who knows, as could have easily been another guest or outsider. Underneath the Digital panel there are screws, so the safe is really not great. We brought cash for cabs/tips etc. I would highly recommend that for cash and/or sentimental valuables, to bring a key safe/mobile safe and just place this is your hotel safe or keep all valuables with you at all times. Despite this, we did enjoy our weeks stay, would we return? Probably not, due to theft, the terrible all inclusive drinks and the extensive TLC this resort still urgently needs.
Just returned from a weeks stay .. I wouldn’t call it 5 star hotel but it was very nice .. firstly on arriving we wasn’t aware of holiday tax so be prepared plus have to pay 25 euros for safety deposit key !! A nice porter showed us to our room with bags .. our room 1404 was lovely it was a very large room and we had sea views .. would have liked to have tea/coffee facilities if it’s 5 star..food was lovely although breakfast ONE toasting machine for the entire numerous guests was silly hence we didn’t have toast all week but must say the omelettes freshly made were hot and nice..lunch and evening meals a very good choice I must say…hotel offered 3 specialty nights which we done the Greek and Asian nights and they we’re fantastic but you do have to pay for drinks here ..all staff very friendly and helpful, nice pools and lovely comfy sun beds.. Negative points are: for the whole of the outside area there 4 toilets and it was a mixed toilet so two for men and women .. didn’t find out till last day there was one other toilet by adult pool.. the music played in both pool bar and calypso bar was soooooo loud and the taste in music wasn’t suitable at all !! The activity staff just wonder around doing not much and play what they like .. I did complain one day can they make it background music and not boom boom boom music The hotel is a bit far out from anywhere to walk to which we missed .. but got a bus two days and a taxi from beach area to Lindy’s town was 10 euros.. all in all a lovely week though
This is our second time at Lindos royal and again it has been amazing ! Absolutely gorgeous views from our room , sun all day every day on our balcony , staff so friendly and attentive and they work so hard to ensure Guests have the best experience, room cleaned on request , fresh towels and bedding ! Food is always good , always a good choice ! Drinks very strong lol ! I will highly recommend this place and will definitely return ! Yes there are some dated areas around site , but nothing that would put me off Well done Michalis and team xx

Disappointed on arrival as room looked nothing like the promo pics, sofa bed for my 6ft son was was uncomfortable, springs were felt through the mattress. However views to sea were lovely, and they provided blankets and extra pillows the next day as one thin pillow per person on arrival was not sufficient. Water provided in the fridge is one small bottle per person (only 2 for our party of 3), which was to be refilled at the pool bar water cooler - good for reduction in plastic consumption, if not a little misleading in promo. Efficient room cleaning and provision of clean towels was good. Beach towels provided for €30 deposit, spa will exchange for fresh ones each day. Hotel grounds are very run down, sunbeds broken and not comfortable, astro turf worn out, cigarette butt's and rubbish left around make for an unpleasant experience. Very dangerous slippy tiles in pool bar area and restaurants. We jad some rain showers in October, hotel didn't cope with making it safe, many yellow slip warning signs were put up with puddles everywhere in restaurants and walk ways making it unpleasant to find a dry table, and walk to and from the buffet through slippy puddles. No attempt to make restaurant floor safe and comfortable for guests does not speak 5 star. Just scattering of yellow slippy surface signs for guests to navigate around says "we're not liable if you slip, we told you, just deal with it, while we continue to not provide a 5 star service". Walk down to the private beach was dangerous with step lights broken, empty cabanas surrounded by dirty old astro turf, litter not picked up for the whole week. Soft drinks are not branded, so taste unpleasant. Water tastes metallic, we bought our own water from supermarket. The food - breakfast is repetitive and bland. Lunch was limited, dinner is a different theme each evening with regular items, not every good quality, mostly luke warm. So many stray cats fighting in the restaurant and jumping up onto the chairs to grab food. Pool areas cramped with sunbeds packed tightly together. After day one we hired a car and explored the island not spending too much time at the rundown hotel. Booked the themed restaurants on arrival, very limited places, so earliest availability was our last two nights - Asian and Mediterranean, but the food here was the same as was served in the main restaurant, just a different setting, by the pool. The staff are mostly unhappy with no eye contact. One guy serving tea and coffee (have to queue for hot drinks, not available as self serve) was friendly and polite. As we had evening flights had to pay extra for late checkout €5 per hr - even though arrived late at night also. The hotel layout is very confusing on different levels, access through the restaurant is locked 2 hrs before meal times (which is the most direct route through the complex) making the route from the lobby to rooms difficult to navigate around the outer paths. Rooms are located in 6 different annex buildings. The spa is very disappointing, rude lady that doesn't give the feeling of zen when you enter. The signage to the spa is almost non existant with a tiny sticker on the corner of a walkway to hotel rooms, see photo. Gym was very small with minimal equipment, which you must book a time slot for in advance, not able to be flexible and walk in, even though it seems under used. I think when this hotel was first built in 1996 it would have been quite nice its very run down now and looks low budget, many broken tiles, warning tape around holes and areas needing maintenance. When booking be wary of promo shots of this hotel that omit the flaws and over promise. During our week we travelled by hire car to West coast Limni beach, Lindos town is stunning, great lunches on travels and cute tavernas. Made the most of location, so enjoyed holiday, but didn't feel hotel was value for money or pleasant to come back to after a day exploring.
Siistiä ja ystävällinen henkilökunta. Hinta-laatusuhteeltaan toimiva. Paljon kissoja, joillekin plussa, joillekin miinus. Paljon altaita ja buffassa laaja valikoima. Kiva ranta, jossa helppoa snorklailla. Lähirannalta myös lähti paljon erilaisia retkiä merelle. Lyhyt matka Lindokseen, vaikka aamulenkin muodossa.
Not going to complain about the food as it was quite nice & the cakes was lovely . So the staff are very nice . The beach buggy bus driver’s especially lovely . The kids club is quite dangerous with concrete slopes . Wich should have a fence around it . No toys and the toys that are there outside have seen better days and I mean 2 play houses and one slide & a ball . The toddler pool should also be gated off . Not a 5star more a 3-4 star . I took my 17month old grandson. It was very hard work . I would definitely go again . Clean rooms spotless hotel . . I’d recommend beach shoes for the beach especially if you are going into the sea as it’s pebble and quite rocky going in . A absolutely beautiful area with sea and views to die for . So a 7/10 for me . As I say I’d definitely return . Minus the child 😂😂
Was very worried after reading the reviews. Arrived and checked in to our swim up room, right opposite other rooms and no sun. Spoke to receptionist and upgraded at a cost. Moved to room 3014, beautiful room, fabulous shower room. Room very clean and cleaned every day. Lots of pools, cocktails nice. Food good quality and plentiful, deserts sometimes run low but it’s a busy hotel. Staff lovely and friendly. Beautiful location and have seen some stunning sunrises. We honestly have not been disappointed, ignore the negative reviews. I generally think some people are not happy unless they are complaining. Would definitely stay again 😊
So for me the major disappointments were the reception team they were always rude and unwelcoming seems like they are above being friendly and warm to the guests the food which is a shame as it’s well cooked but cold the highlight was the pizza the pool bar was lovely the bar team were great and the chef at pool was great the music was a bit too loud The room was clean and basic good shower and nice shower gel and moisturiser The hotel tax is a joke it’s definitely not anywhere near five star at most a two The beach is stony but nice we went to Lindos several times and had some lovely food and drinks
