Top Adresse, kann ich für den Preis nur weiterempfehlen. Hervorragendes Essen, die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und zweckmässig eingerichtet und das Personal ist motiviert und sehr freundlich. Macht weiter so, wir machen wieder mal einen Ausflug zu euch.

Hotel an die besten Zeiten hinter sich. Eingang zum Hotel über eine Art Hintereingang. In jeder Ecke ist etwas abgestellt. Weg zur Küche total verwinkelt. Schlechtes WiFi.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful and run by a wonderful Swiss family with exceptional hospitality. They treated me as if I were part of their own family. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, from the reception staff to the restaurant employees, and the hotel owner herself was extremely kind to me. I truly enjoyed my stay. The room was perfectly organized and very clean, with a soft and comfortable bed. I booked a single room for myself, and it was more than enough for my stay. The bathroom was spotless, and they even prepared some sweets and a bottle of sparkling water in the room as a lovely welcome gesture. The breakfast was good and sufficient. The hotel itself had the authentic charm of a traditional Swiss house, beautifully decorated with lovely antique pieces and charming details throughout every corner of the property.

Everything was wonderful, and I truly enjoyed every moment of my stay. I honestly have no complaints at all — everything exceeded my expectations.

The town didn’t have too much to offer. Still, it was a short drive to St. Gallen and several mountain rides.

Very nice historic hotel offering fantastic beds just a few steps from the local railway station (modern train every 30 mins, no noise), delicious appenzeller cheese breakfast, thank you!

Our hostess was absolutely hands down the sweetest woman! We loved chatting with her. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and quiet. It was the best part of our European vacation.

The welcoming staff, big rooms, comfy bed and spotless clean Homedae cuisine.that I recommend to try.

Die Linde ist ein sehr gut geführtes, charmantes Appenzeller Hotel (und Restaurant). Die Zimmer sind nicht mehr ganz neu, aber gut unterhalten und mit vielen schönen Details. Der Service ist ausgezeichnet und das Frühstück war sehr lecker.

Amazing place!

The hotel has an elegant feel of a traditional Swiss house. Our room was lovely and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent - very continental and the coffee was perfect.

Ho viaggiato per lavoro. Fondamentalmente non trovo comodi i cuscini in "Svizzera", però sulla stanza non posso dire nulla di male. L'unica cosa è il bagno un po' piccolo ma va bene ugualmente.

Very charming place and very welcoming staff.

Excellent hôtel familial. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l'accueil très chaleureux. Fenêtres fermées , les chambres d'angle que nous avions sont très calmes (fenêtres ouvertes, on entend le train qui passe à côté de l'hôtel). Elles sont très bien aménagées, très propres et avec une literie confortable. Très bons petits déjeuners. Nous avons également mangé un excellent repas du soir au restaurant.

I chose this hotel principally because of the location, but also on the strength of the reviews and free parking. This is a delightful hotel, cosy and elegant. I instantly received a heartfelt welcome which will stay with me for a long time. I appreciated the dimmer light in the bedroom, comfortable bed and beautiful bedding. Dinner was simply fabulous, and the possibility of ordering smaller portions enabled me to enjoy a main course and dessert. Waking after a good night's sleep (rare for me), I felt as though I was staying at my favourite aunt's instead of a faceless hotel. At breakfast, ingredients were fresh, local and delicious. I would absolutely stay here again.

Family run property, owners were paying attention to details and it showed.

It is an older property, but it creates the whole "Swiss atmosphere ". We like traditional style in these type of properties, so it's not a negative thing.
