Breakfast Polite staff The building is so cool Lavatories and shower are proper
the staff is kind, ready to help
Great people working there especially the gentlemen. There is a bus stop right next to the property.
I didn’t expect paying that much and making my own bed. She sheets didn’t cover the blanket completely and it just didn’t feel right, I was afraid to touch the blanket 1000 people have touched .. The kitchen is downstairs in the basement: no WiFi signal is in there, no windows and it’s very cold. It was creepy and not inviting to say the least..
The personal is the best.
The building is amazing - so interesting. Lots of board games, very clean
Good size room, great host, overall clean appearance of all facilities, historical features all around, well equipped self catering kitchen, great continental breakfast for an additional €7
Unfortunately our room must have been infested with bed bugs. Although it apparently got treated a couple of days before our stay, many of the little buggers must have survived as a day later I was literally covered with bite marks. That has completely spoiled what could have been a great stay at this hostel, and also the rest of our holidays.
Good breakfast, comfy beds, clean baths and toilets
Kitchen could have been a bit cleaner
Loved the punctuality 😀 Clean, nice hostel, amazing duvets, it brought us memories of childhood camps
Extraordinary place. Friendly people. Awesome atmosphere.
The staffs are friendly. The building is so classic. The toys!! We played until late night... My kids love the playroom, the books. We also love the garden. It's a good pass by on out summer holiday :D
Nothing, we got for what we pay and it's perfect for our trip. The only thing that made us sad was, That we couldn't meet the Dog's hotel,( because he was on holiday.) we really would like to meet him.. Maybe next time we are more lucky!
The house itself is beautiful and very authentic. It looks very cute and old from the outside. The rooms and inside were nice with good ventilation in the rooms. The kitchen was also well equipped.
It was a bit difficult to find the kitchen for us. Which was very stupid because there was a sign indicating the way. The bedding was nice and clean, there were just some hairs on our mattresses (but you put clean bedding around it anyway so no big deal).
The staff was really friendly, we had the bedroom just for us (group of 5). The building is awesome. Really good price and a great option for the area.
Nothing.
The old building and furnitures offer a very nice experience. The garden is large, the breakfast Buffett is generous.
Eggs are missing and the guest’s kitchen located in the basement.
Very nice, authentic jugendherberge with very friendly host. Basic facilities kept very nice and clean.
.
Beautiful building, kind staff, nice garden to spend time in. Overall, absolutely recommended!
It was too hot in the room, but fortunately, some fans were provided.
Nice location. Bathrooms and bedrooms very clean
The kitchen for the guest is in the basement , so quite dark. Some cockroaches found in the bedroom… really a pity as the location and the people in charge of this youth hostel are so nice!
reception staff ( Jan ) were super friendly and fine with our really late arrival. It was a beautiful historic building. Very clean room and bathroom facilities.Great kitchen for own cooking. Good value for money and great for an overnight stay
Room was a bit hot and noisy from the front road… but we got a fan which made it ok
Kindness, the building in wood, the silence
Distance to the Center of Feldkirch
The mountains around us
Very warm rooms even though the weather was wet & windy
This is a very historic property that has been restored. It has many interesting features and a large garden. The breakfast is great and it’s so nice to eat outside. The kitchen is fairly basic but has everything you need (oven, grill, microwave, kettle, fridge etc.) and is very clean.
Nothing
Lovely building. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean amenities.
Nice place
The location has wonderful view and very pleasent climate. The only short come is the remote location. We thoroughly enjoy the stay.
The apartment is spotless clean. Feels like brand new, but I know it is a remodled old house. Maintained to the ultmost.
Magnificent location, very clean and a wonderful welcoming feel. Well done to Robert and his team. This place is full of history and well worth a visit. A great value for money place to stay
The 600+ years old building was so well maintained and renovated it made you feel comfortable while cozy living in an old building. The shower room was also very clean and good to use. They had kitchens and dishes which were convenient as we were cooking ourselves. Supermarket was also within walking distance. The owner family was also very accommodating and kind always willing to help us.
Jugendherberge Feldkirch was a true gem of our journey. The building was the most unique place full of history and charisma. This place is certainly not your regular hostel and that’s what makes it amazing! We had a great one-night stay at the hostel. The man (owner?) at the reception was really helpful and friendly. He made sure we felt relaxed and welcome during our stay. Everything was really clean (toilets, showers, rooms/common rooms). The breakfast was also great!
The history, the character
An amazing house in Feldkirch. The germanic architecture is even better live than what you see in the photos. The staff were super nice to us and we got meet Sam, the house mascot. The house even has a common dining room and a common entertainment area with TV, guitar, a small library and a boardgame collection
Considering it's a small city, it's relatively a bit far from the train station. But it's not really something uner their control. Also, nothing that a 20 minute walk doesn't solve
Very clean. Lovely wooden house
Very nice staff (including Sam) Nice toilets and bad
The room was a bit dark The common rooms were a bit cold but ok
A very friendly place with a lovely atmosphere. The bed was comfortable and there were all the facilities you could need for a pleasant stay. The breakfast was also good value.
If I was being very picky, a shelf would be useful in the shower cubicles to keep your towel/shower gel on.
The clerk at check-in was very helpful & friendly. When he found out I had lost my credit card, he called his boss to see if the payment could be made with the credit card I had on file with Booking.com. What a relief that was. My room was great & I had it to myself. It would have been quite comfortable & large enough to share with others, however. The bathroom was clean & very close to all of the rooms on the floor. The hostel was in an old building, very cool features!
I was on the upper floor & had to carry my bags up a winding set of stairs. However, by taking just one at a time, I made it. (I had to watch where I put my feet very carefully.) It was further from the train station that I expected it to be, but perhaps that was my inability to judge distances! (It was walkable, even pulling a small suitcase & rolling backpack.)
Friendly historic location. Comfortable and warm! Atmospheric!
The tablecloths on the street tables.
Very kind staff, I booked a double room but I was alone, and at the reception it was said that I can change for a single room for a cheaper price.
A smile a day keeps the docter away! We enjoyed the welcome we got, although we where late arrivals (22:00 hrs) by the host of the hostel. He even recommended us the breakfast before we moved on to the mountains. The breakfast was a hidden surprise as well as the backyard.
I wouldn't change a thing.
Friendly and clean. Good value.
Really nice person working there. It's a hostel, and you get what you expect, simple but good! There were great common rooms with toys and loads of board games, which was really good for the kids. The breakfast was perfectly fine for the relatively cheap price.
The stuff was very helpful. They helped us with everything, we felt very welcomed. Our children liked the toys in TV room, breakfast was much better than we expected. Our room was calm. Bathroom was really clean. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Hostel is lovely, located in a very nice historical building. We stayed for one night, room and bathrooms were clean. There’s a great outside area for eating and play table tennis. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money!
Simple but clean and with all the facilities we needed. Great service from the staff and beutiful old building from the 14th century. 1 km from the train station but the walk was flat and easy.

The place is lovely, breakfast was very complete and the area outside is great to start the day. The bathrooms were always clean. There is a supermarket very close and it is not far from the city center. Parking is free and easy to find.
Wifi didn't quite work on the second floor.
Excelent staff, clean room and other spaces. Worth for money.
Friendly and helpful staff and comfortable rooms
very clean and nice building
Historical building with a special atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Functional and clean toilets and showers. Adorable dog.

Interesting place, nice helpful manager. Great kitchen and facilities we had almost to ourselves. Did nice hike from there.
Long walk out of town from train station with packs, so better location for longer stay.
The ancient architecture and the care taker. A great place to take pictures.
Common bathrooms.
Extremely attentive reception, I will definitely return and recommend.
Lovely staff, easy check in, great room and a delicious breakfast
We had a great stay at this hostel. A warm and welcoming check in. And what a great breakfast buffet. Parking on site. A nice pizza place 7 min walk from the hostel.
The location is a bit far out from the center of town.
The room is tiny but it has everything you need. The owner was lovely and kind and he made us feel very welcomed. It is also well located to explore the town. The building is beautiful, all made of wood, it feels really traditional Austrian.
Everything was good. There are good furniture, beds, bed linens, but we made it own, polite and friendly staff, good wi-fi, good toilet and shower on the floor. Extension cords is available.
Very pretty old buildung with exceptionally friendly staff. We expected way less for the low price, but were surprised with a spotless bed- & bathroom. We paid an additional 6€ each for a very generous breakfast buffet. All in all, we are completely satisfied with our stay an can definitely recommend this hostel
Good breakfast
Very nice welcome. We booked a 4-people room for the two of us because of availability, but the host immediately offered us a 2-person private room that became available that night and was way cheaper. Showers are good, the building is monumental and beautiful. Breakfast was very good, a big buffet with home made food. Price/quality is amazing here
Location could be better, it's a bit outside of the old town centre, but still walkable.
This place is a historic treasure! Friendly staff and great energy:)
Brilliant helpful staff. Building has loads of old charm.
The old building gets hot in the summer, bedrooms are a bit warmer than ideal.
very friendly and helpful staff, beautiful historic building, breakfast good, clean and comfortable
Lovely old building; great living room to relax and with plenty of toys for kids to play; lovely outside area and outdoor building with table tennis. Very friendly and helpful staff. Simple and fresh breakfast. Clean bathrooms. Very convenient stay if you are in transit or to visit neighboring Lichtenstein, Germany or Switzerland, as we did
Not the best value for money for a family of 5, however still very competitive comparing to Lichtenstein and Switzerland. Location next to a main road but our room was overlooking the garden side. Overall we had a very good time.
