Emerald Hotel

We booked one night at Emerald Hotel as a base camp close to the airport as we had a flight out in the very early hours. The hotel facilities were as expected and represented good value for money, enabling us to relax ahead of our journey. We spent some time around the pool area which had a nice chilled out vibe. We didn't pay the additional for air con or the safe as we didn't need them but the air con was available by the day for €10 or €65 for a week. The safe is €15 for a week. Special shout out to Niki on the front desk who was very helpful, friendly and professional, she arranged taxis for us as required and helped when we were researching local tavernas. Niki was also supportive and encouraging as I chose to use Greek as opposed to English where possible and am still learning! Overall we were happy with our decision to book Emerald Hotel.

No problem for us but be aware that the property is on the inbound flight path to the airport so there are regular flights coming in overhead.

Je pense que la qualité de la literie pourrait être améliorée, ainsi que l'odeur des draps. Par ailleurs, s'il était possible de mettre des moustiquaires ou tout autre système évitant de nombreux insectes lorsqu'on arrive dans la chambre, ce serait agréable.

Le logement n’était pas conforme à la description de booking et les équipements étaient vétuste

It is the worst hotel that I have ever been. The room is so dirty and awful garbage smelling . There are insects in the bed . Bed was broken. They charge extra 10 euros for AC. It was awful so we left in midnight.

El cuarto de baño estaba sucio y con muy mal olor a cloaca. El aire acondicionado no están incluido en el precio, había que pagar 10€ extra por noche. Mucho ruido de aviones y cigarras. El servicio de bar lento y estúpido. No repetiría

Modern spacious rooms with a relaxed vibe suitable for all ages.Staff were super helpful and friendly.

Never cleaned the room WiFi sucked air conditioning pay $10 euros and does not work! Terrible

Ubytování nabízelo spoustu vyžití pro malé děti (mělký bazén, houpačky). Zároveň je to relativně blízko k moři a také případně do supermarketu.

Kuchyň je sice lehce vybavená, ale když cokoliv použijete, zjistíte, že nemáte nádobí ani čím umýt. Bylo by vhodné mít u nádobí i houbičku a jar, stejně tak jako je alespoň v koupelně mýdlo na ruce.

Le personnel super sympa ,le restaurant , les piscines ,ainsi que les soirées animées

Le point négatif : il n’y a pas de clim dans l’appartement si le séjour est inférieur à 4jours !!!

La proximité avec la plage est top ! Le fait d’être à côté de l’aéroport permet aussi de profiter un maximum du séjour. Le studio est confortable

La porte de la chambre ne se fermait pas facilement à clef

Hotel was really clean and rooms were modern. 3 pools of different depths, plenty of loungers available at all times of day ( we went high season, 3rd week of August) Location is quiet, super close to the beach (which is pebbles not sand) and the town. 10 mins from airport do you see / hear all the incoming planes but we didn’t really notice them. Close to bus stops that go to Rhodes city / old town Would stay here again

Food not great, typical catering for brits abroad type. Not extortionate but overpriced (food & drinks), especially ice cream which seemed to change price daily

Everything Sitting on the balcony at night and by the pool is a wonderful family place

Booked this hotel in the midst of the wildfire issues as we were evacuated from our original hotel. Had no idea what to expect but were pleasantly surprised, large rooms, pleasant staff and no fighting for sunbeds like the hotel we stayed at the days before. Food was good too. Happily recomend to anyone looking for a hotel on the cheaper side.

Air conditioning was extra cost, why not just add to the price of rooms?!

we like everything about the property. This was our 5th visit

Room was clean and cleaned everyday Pool area was clean and had lots of shady areas

Had to pay extra for the air conditioning The room was tired and could do with an update (had previously stayed in the newer block which was more expensive but clean and modern) shower fixing to wall faced out so if you did shower the whole room flooded so had to hold the shower all the time as to not flood the room. No floor mat for bathroom had to be extra careful not to slip. Have been to kremasti many times the hotel is over the flight path - would expect it to be a better value for this reason.

Rooms still had a crumbs etc on the floor from past travellers. Planes constantly flying overhead throughout the day and night
