Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Great location an easy 10-minute walk from the main tourist area and canal. Super polite and helpful staff made us very welcome from the moment we arrived. The hotel has old-fashioned charm while rooms are modern, comfortable and well-equipped. We also used the underground parking. A perfect base to explore Aveiro.

Reviewed Sep 17, 2026Our room was well appointed, quiet, clean and spacious. Excellent aircon, large bathroom with two sinks. Reception staff were very helpful and attentive. Bed a little hard for me but still very comfortable. Spare pillows in cupboard too which was handy. Our room was large with plenty of space to hang clothes and a comfortable seat in which to relax. All in all, a great place to stay.
parking is first come first served but there is paid parking opposite the hotel entrance which is free overnight from 8pm until 9am. Great cafe just there as well. It's a convenient 15 minute walk down to the canal area where there is a wealth of great restaurants and bars.

Reviewed Sep 17, 2026Gute, saubere & schöne Unterkunft. Alles fussläufig zu erreichen. Wir hatten sogar einen Balkon. Sehr schön und gemütlich. Auch das Parking für 8€/Nacht war reibungslos.
In der Dusche klebeten noch fremde Haare an den Fliesen. Sonst war alles angenehm.

I noticed some stains on the sheets and pillowcases, but I assume they can be fixed fast.

Reviewed Sep 11, 2026Heel vriendelijk personeel. Wij vergaten onze oplader voor de tandenborstel en dat hebben ze nagestuurd nadat we de kosten hadden overgemaakt. Fijn dat ze de moeite daarvoor hebben genomen! Verder was alles prima, ook fijn dat parkeergelegenheid beschikbaar was.
Eén van ons was iets minder te spreken over een wat zacht matras en de straat waarin het hotel ligt is niet heel mooi, maar dat wisten we van tevoren.

The location is very convenient for the train station but it is a good 15 minute walk into the historic centre. We did not mind that, especially as there was interesting architecture to look at on the way, but it is something to be aware of.
The hotel bedroom decor feels as if it hasn't been changed since the 1960s. It is a little depressing, lots of browns and grey-greens. However, it isn't shabby at all, everything is well-maintained. §

Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing, mainly because of the issue with breakfast charges. When I booked the room, I specifically selected the option with breakfast included. I also called the hotel before checking in and double-checked that breakfast was included in my reservation. However, when checking out, the receptionist suddenly told me that I had to pay €12 per person, per day for breakfast — €12 × 2 people × 6 days. Since I was already in a hurry and risked missing my train to the airport, I did not have enough time to stay and argue or show all my booking details. I paid the amount, but I am still in the process of proving to Booking.com that my reservation clearly included breakfast and that I had already paid for it through them. This situation was extremely frustrating and should have been communicated properly from the beginning. The breakfast itself was also very basic, especially considering the additional price they charged. The main hot options were omelette, bacon with a lot of oil, sausages, and mushrooms. There were no vegetables at all, only a few fruits, and the juices seemed to contain a lot of added sugar. There were basically no healthy options apart from plain water. The room itself was okay, but clearly not renovated. There was no ceiling light in my room, only a few lamps, which felt quite unusual. The safe was not working either. On the positive side, the room had a fairly large balcony. Another thing I found very strange for a 3-star hotel was the lack of basic amenities. There was no kettle, tea, or coffee in the room, and not even one complimentary bottle of water. During our entire 6-day stay, we had to buy drinking water from nearby shops. To be fair, the staff did provide us with hot water whenever we asked for it. Overall, the room itself was acceptable, but the breakfast situation, the lack of basic room amenities, and the unexpected extra charge at checkout made the experience much more disappointing than it shou

Reviewed Sep 8, 2026La habitación estaba bien, pero no se si serán todas las habitaciones iguales, las dos cortinas que tienen para dar oscuridad en las ventanas, los railes de ellas solo llegaban hasta la mitad, no cubrían la totalidad de la ventana y nada mas que amanecía entraba la claridad y si vas de vacaciones esperas descansar un poco mas. Por lo demás todo bien.

Reviewed Sep 6, 2026- L'amabilité du personnel - La chambre était confortable et propre - Le petit-déjeuner avec du salé et du sucré ; la petite terrasse est sympa. - L'emplacement ; il faut marcher quelque peu pour visiter mais rien de bien long - La chambre donnait sur la rue mais cela n'a pas été une problème pour nous reposer
- Le parking était complet, car nous sommes arrivés en fin de journée je présume. Nous avons trouvé une place de stationnement juste en face et notre chance a été que c'était vendredi et qu'on n'a pas dû payer grand chose vu que le lendemain c'était gratuit mais à tenir compte pour d'autres personnes qui resteraient plus qu'une nuit et à prévoir pour avoir une place au parking de l'hôtel.

Ik ben hier al verschillende malen geweest en meestal alleen. Toen had ik een grote kamer, maar nu was ik met 3 en was de kamer en badkamer redelijk klein..

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026Hôtel très propre et personnel très sympathique. La chambre était prête à notre arrivée (et même le lit bebe) et l'accueil rapide. L'hôtel est proche du centre (idéal pour visiter la ville) et de nombreux restaurants et commerces sont a proximité (mais l'hôtel reste calme) . Pas de place parking disponible dans l'établissement malgré une demande des mois à l'avance (comme nous avons un bébé de un an cela aurait été plus pratique/ entre les valises et la poussette ce n'est pas tjrs simple) mais heureusement, il y a de nombreuses places de parking gratuites à 3 min à pied (le personnel vous informe et donne des indications sur le sujet)
Les produits de toilette de petit taille (je trouve cela plus écolo et pratique lorsque c'est sous forme de distributeurs de savon ou shampoing rechargeables ) La taille de la télévision qui était trop petite pour la chambre (même taille que l'écran de mon pc portable...)

Reviewed Aug 26, 2026Les chambres étaient prêtent à notre arrivée (2 chambres) et l'accueil s'est très bien déroulée avec le personnel.
Non pas que nous n'avons pas apprécié, mais nous venions d'un hôtel 3 étoiles et au petit déjeuner nous avions eu un peu plus de choix, surtout au niveau fruits. Maintenant, hormis ça, nous avons tous (4 personnes) bien déjeuner :-)

Reviewed Aug 26, 2026Chambre et partie commune propre. Bonne literie . Chambre à l' arrière de la route au calme. Parking sous sol sur place facile d' accès mais place limitée. Terrasse rez de chaussée très agréable. Climatisation ok. Café à proximité. Proche du centre à pied.
Frigo ne fait pas de froid produit de toilette minuscule. Télévision trop petite 40 cm ....un écran d' ordi limite.

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026Everything was fine. The staff were very courteous and professional. The rooms were nice and the beds very comfortable.
It would have been nice if the rooms had a kettle and some tea and coffee. An iron and ironing board as well, but not essential.
