1e 2 nachten in een te kleine kamer voor 3 personen en overlopende douchebak. De 3e dag heeft eigenaresse op eigen initiatief ons overgeplaatst naar een zeer ruime kamer. Goed initiatief . Wel zijn de matrassen erg hard.

El desayuno escaso. Al tratarse de una casa antigua cuestaba hacer secar los bañadores / toallas por la humedad. Un tendedero en alguna parte fuera ayudaría quizás.

The bed and especially the pillows were not comfortable. It was also very warm as no air conditioning.

Reviewed Aug 29, 2025As colaboradoras que nos antendiam e limpavam todos os dias foram simplesmente fantásticas, super queridas atenciosas. Não temos mesmo nada de verdadeiramente problemático a apontar, a limpeza era diária e nos dias que queríamos ficar no quarto a descansar também bastou só pedir toalhas novas e ninguém vinha incomodar. O quarto tinha tudo, a piscina tinha água fantástica e grande o suficiente para 2/3 famílias (apesar de estar sempre sozinha na piscina nos 5 dias praticamente). A dona foi tão incrível que até nos deu no check in o quarto maior da propriedade por eu estar grávida, para ficar mais confortável por ficarmos lá 5 dias.
O pequeno almoço podia ser melhor efetivamente. Nada a apontar do que estava disponível, mas faltava opção, alguns docinhos ou mesmo produtos locais. O sumo era de pacote em vez de ser fresco o que é uma pena (não é propriamente saudável infelizmente). No entanto ofereceram se para nos fazer ovos mexidos todos os dias! É só mesmo uma questão de haver mais opções disponíveis como outros bolos, bacon ou salsichas (algum tipo de proteína que não fosse queijo fatiado ou fiambre/enchidos). De resto só temos a apontar o facto de infelizmente a mesa de snooker não ser propriamente útil. Queríamos jogar mas é daquelas sem buraco e não encontramos as bolas em lado nenhum infelizmente.

Reviewed Aug 28, 2025O pequeno almoço é bom. A localização permite o acesso a pé ao centro de Rio Maior. O espaço exterior e os espaços comuns são muito agradáveis. Há possibilidade de se utilizar uma cozinha comum.
Não possui estacionamento privado. Existem algumas hipóteses de estacionamento na zona, embora não sejam as melhores.

Reviewed Aug 6, 2025La casa do foral est vraiment très bien aménagé et fleuri , l'extérieur est magnifique, nous avons pu profité de la piscine malgres qu'elle était un peu fraîche. La chambre etait propre , belle et grande . Le lit était confortable et grand .
A notre arrivée ce fut rapide pas d'explication pour les communs, nous ne savions pas trop si nous y avions accès ou non . La clef de la chambre est peu commune et vraiment xxl . Pas de bouchon pour prendre un bain pour la baignoire , la salle de bain est un peu vieillotte

Reviewed Jul 16, 2025This hotel is a proper find! A lovely, peaceful oasis, filled with a myriad of beautiful plants and trees. Everywhere you look are interesting objects and bric a brac, all collected by the owner. The breakfast was excellent - a good variety of offerings and scrambled eggs on request. We were made to feel very welcome by the owner, even though we turned up late. N.B. The only negative - no fault of the hotel - the address given on the Expedia site is wrong! It takes you to a private house about 12Km away!!

We were aware and due to the style of traditional rooms it wasn’t a big deal as they were naturally cool but there are is no aircon.

Reviewed Jun 22, 2023Beautiful Portuguese Casa with lovely garden, pool, and breakfast/rec room. Amazing collections of various items on display everywhere you look. The hostess. Ari, was wonderful and so very helpful. The room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Rio Maior is only an hour or so from Lisbon and so much more relaxing to stay and enjoy the surrounding sites. Would definitely recommend Casa do Foral. They pay attention to details and will make your stay so very enjoyable.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2022For a 3-star hotel, this was an incredibly lovely place to stay. It is quaint hotel with a lovely garden and a gorgeous dining room looking out at the garden. The bed was quite stiff (not like firm which is desirable) and strangely short. My husband's feet had to dangle beyond the bed. It is quite difficult to find and there is no sign outside.
