No reception; only self check-in. There was not even any soap for washing at the bathroom. The breakfast was very poor. I was expecting better service.

Die Fenster sind sehr gut, schalldicht ... leider kann man nicht bei offenem Fenster schlafen, da der Bahnhof SBB, Wilerbahn, Busbahnhof und Besucher Steakhaus nicht gerade als ruhig bezeichnet werden kann. sonst ist es gut.

Hotel Blumenstein is a clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced (by Swiss standards) place if you need to stay in Frauenfeld. Be aware that the hotel runs on a very low-staff model: guests check themselves in, there is no desk staff, and contact is by phone. When I checked in, the self-checkin machine knew my reservation, but was broken and couldn't accept payments; when I called the attached help number, there was an immediate answer and I could give my credit card number by phone, so it worked out OK. The breakfast is modest but acceptable, and the daily cleaning staff is very friendly and supportive. When I requested an extra pillow from the cleaning person, there were two there the next morning. My one concern was security. With no desk staff, there is no way to use the hotel's safe, and the individual rooms do not have safes. Moreover, the two hallways of guest rooms are off a public stairway that is open during the day, and that serves several businesses. That means anyone could walk in off the street and be at the room doors in a moment, since the hall door with a keycard lock was not usually closed, at least not during the day. Not a major concern for me in a small, safe town, but still not ideal in terms of controlling access to the guest area. I was comfortable, the room was clean and everything worked, and the location is extremely central, right opposite the train station.

La chambre ne correspondait pas au descriptif du promoteur sur internet et le personnel de l'hôtel Blumenstein m'a proposé une chambre supérieur pour le même prix - excellent service! L'hôtel est bien situé en face de la gare, les chambres pratiques et propres. Une chaise pour le bureau aura été bienvenu, mais le fauteuil faisait l'affaire. J'ai particulièrement apprécié le buffet du petit-déjeuner bien garni. L'hôtel a des places de parc gratuits et il y a aussi un parking et des places payant pas loin et pas cher.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral. Die Zimmer sind sauber und ordentlich. Leider ist es aufgrund der zentralen Lage auch ziemlich laut (Bahnhof und Kirche).

Premier séjour dans un hotel avec enregistrement automatique et final même si trouvé l'entrée a été compliqué, tous c'est bien passé. L'hotel est calme et propre .

Leider mussten wir 3 Stunden warten, weil der Hotelmanager vergessen hatte uns mitzuteilen, dass er um 17:00 Uhr kommen würde Auf dem Hotel .com stand die Einlasszeit um 14:00 Uhr Die Nacht in der Nähe des Bahnhofs war schrecklich, die Leute schrien und es war laut bis 4 Uhr morgens Praktische Lage, weil es in der Nähe des Bahnhofs war, aber nicht für den Service empfohlen

Es war die bisher lauteste Unterkunft überhaupt. Bahnhof, Straßenbahn, Kirchengeläut (3Uhren !!!) besoffe3nes Pack am Bahnhof.....die ganze Nacht! Frühstück ok......wir waren wie gerädert!

Nettes kleines Hotel direkt am Bahnhof, was uns aber überhaupt nicht gestört hat, sehr freundliches Personal. Am Haus angeschlossene Restauration auch empfehlenswert. Wir durften das Zimmer am Abreisetag sogar bis Nachmittags für unsere Kofferaufbewahrung weiter nutzen, ohne Aufpreis. Alles sehr unkomplziert.

Gutes Hotel direkt gegenüber vom Bahnhof trotzdem ruhig. Gutes Frühstücks Büffet. Abendessen im angeschlossenen Restaurant war sehr gut für Fleischesser. Preis / Leistung i.O.

Hotel liegt direkt beim Bahnhof. Vorteil: man ist rasch in der Unterkunft. Nachteil: Isolation ist schlecht. Man hört jedes Tram, die Kirchenglocke und auxh die Autos/Menschen. Service ist top! Frühstück passt auch. Irritiert hat uns 3 Kolleginnen, dass wir alle einen unterschiedlichen Preis (trotz gleichem Zimmer und ähnliche Buchungszeit) bezahlten...

Sehr gutes Hotel für reine Übernachtungen. Unmittelbar neben dem Bahnhof gelegen. Nachts etwas Lärm von Güterzügen aber nicht schlimm. Frühstücksangebot recht reichhaltig. Sauberes geräumiges Zimmer.

+ with elevator, fluent English speaking reception, nice breakfast, clean room. - no A/C, only with a small fan, just across the Frauenfeld station, a bit noisy for the trains and people outside.

Centralt beliggende mindre hotel. Tæt på stationen og butikker. God og venlig betjening. Internet kunne være hurtigere. Et udemærkede sted for et par overnatninger. Parkering kan ske under indkøbscenteret og afregnes i receptionen.

Waited a bit long for checking in because the reception was working in their restaurant, She kept us waiting for 10minuts.

Very efficient location, just across the street from the train station. Abundant breakfast served from 0600. Lets you check in with a PIN if you arrive after reception closes.

Clean and quite, perfect location in Frauenfeld, near from train station

Nice clean hotel and staff are helpful and friendly. It was so convenient for my extended train travels as the hotel is opposite the station. Resturant down stairs 'Rene's Steakhouse' serves great food, thier steaks come recommended and are an excellent cut.

+ Friendly staff and were able to speak English to me (I have very little German) + The room was comfortable as was the bed + It was very clean + The breakfast was amazing + Great transport links for the railway, bus, tram and connections for Zurich Airport + Good Wifi connection - Expensive for what it is but that time of year and Switzerland is expensive!

Hotellet er et udmærket mellemklasse hotel for dem der lige skal bruge et praktisk sted at overnatte i Frauenfeld. Perfekt beliggenhed hvis man rejser med tog da stationen ligger på modsatte side af hotellet. Desuden ligger det perfekt for shopping da byens største indkøbscenter ligger ca. 100 m væk.

Noisy from station and bars , church bells keep waiking you up eventually you get to ignore them. You ha to keep the windows closed .

Zimmer sind recht klein, aber zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Frühstücksbuffett war sehr einfach, insgesamt okay. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Bahnhof - für An- und Abreise sehr günstig, ansonsten sehr laut. Für Dienst und geschäftsreisen ok - zum Urlaub würde ich woanders hinfahren. Für den Preis, hätte ich etwas anderes erwartet.

Good location, 50m from the train station. Very spacious room, super clean. Very nice bed, good pillow, thick and warm duvet. Free internet, remember to ask for username/password for all your devices. Breakfast was OK; no warm food, but you can get eggs, bacon, ham for an extra cost. Very friendly staff, nothing to complain about. I was also lucky to get one of the free parking spots right outside the hotel, very convenient.

Das Hotel liegt direkt gegenüber des Bahnhofs Frauenfeld. Alte Zimmer aber mit neuem Inventar. Gute Betten und sehr freundliches Personal. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet!

This is a clean and well located hotel. However as with most Swiss hotels not much in the line of comforts. It is basic and there is a lot of noise at night because of the location trains, church bells etc. so if you sleep with the window open it can be challenging. The bathroom can be quite cramped. It is reasonable value for the area.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Bahnhof. Parken kann man wenn man Glück hat vorm Hotel, sonst kann man im Parkhaus oder am Parkplatz die in unmittelbarer Nähe sind parken. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und hell, der Bahnhoflärm (Busse, Züge und Leute) bekommt man im Zimmer nicht mit. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Dieses Hotel würde ich weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank

Einfach und gut bei der Abwicklung. W-LAN hat nicht funktioniert. Restaurant im Erdgeschoss sehr gut!

Alles war in Ordnung. Was mich befremdete, dass ein Servicepersonal im Restaurant mit einem Pflaster an den Händen ohne weiteren Schutz servierte.Das Hotel wie das Zimmer war sauber und korrekt.

A budget hotel which is very comfortable, good wifi, great for the station. Breakfast is a little bit limited, but other than that - great. I would definitely stay here again.

Wie Sie anhand der Bewertung sehen können, waren wir sehr zufrieden mit allem was den Hotelservice betrifft. Leider wurden wir nachts durch einen längeren penetranten Lärm von wahrscheinlich Jugendlichen in der Bahnhofumgebung merklich gestört.
