Reviewed Sep 17, 2026Close to the airport. The hotel picked us up from the airport and brought us back to the airport the next day - a great bargain that saved us quite a bit of money. Barajas, where Hostal Viky is located, is a pretty little residential area with lots of restaurants and a convenient walk to the Metro. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful old Church where we attended Mass - Saint Peter the Apostle. We also enjoyed the town center that evening, with a lovely lit fountain and multiple families sitting around on benches. The town square has a nice little cafe that was open very early - Churreria, I believe it is called. Lots of locals there. Tiny spot but friendly and the staff was preparing Churros right in front of you.
Cannot think of anything.

Reviewed Sep 16, 2026Super location near the airport for an extremely early AM flight out the next morning. Very helpful staff and convenience of a 24 hr shuttle service to/from the airport super helpful as well. Room exceeded my expectations for a hostel type of room and very comfortable bed for the few hours I was able to catch some sleep. Also the location to the town square and local businesses and restaurants made for a fun evening just before flying out. I would definitely stay here again if I was visiting Madrid and had a crack of dawn AM flight out.
If a person has mobility issues or difficulty with their luggage --- the rooms all require you carrying your luggage up/down stairs. Some rooms more than others, but there are no elevators. So something to simply keep in mind. Wonderful visit and location overall, but may be challenging for some travelers with large luggage to handle.

Booked us on the last shuttle so it was perfect as our flight was in the late afternoon hours. Rooms had aircon, which is becoming a must in Summer in Spain.
The equipment was not the newest, the hostal has undergone a lot of usage and could do with a bit of renovation.
