Plusieurs choses , quatre étoiles c’est surcoté trois étoiles c’est suffisant. Au niveau équipement c’est insuffisant WC vieillot sans évacuation d’air , la douche date des années 2000, la porte en verre ne ferme pas on a de l’eau partout. Je connaissais cet hôtel de longue date il a très mal vieilli , les deux maîtres d’hôtel sont présents depuis plus de 10 ans, ils font tourner cet établissement selon d’anciennes méthodes, il serait temps de lui donner un sacré coup de jeune , déçu

Ein schönes Hotel mit seitlichen Balkons zum Meer. Wunderbare Lage direkt an der Pinienallee und direkt am schönen Sandstrand. Mit privaten Liegestühlen am breiten Strand. Die Restaurants und Shops kann man zu Fuss erreichen. Die Landschaft ist wunderschön und das Meer sehr sauber.

Lage am Strand. Promenade direkt vor dem Haus. Servicepersonal beim Abendessen waren sehr freundlich. Essen war auch gut, aber ich würde die HP nicht buchen, sondern direkt im Restaurant reservieren. So kann man zwischen Tagesmenu und Karte selber wählen.

Zimmer sind klein. Badezimmer ist für 2 Personen viel zu klein. Irgendwie war alles eng und nicht gemütlich. Für diesen Preis und ein 4Stern Hotel hätte ich mehr erwartet. Wir hatten sehr viele Paare, welche mit Hunden da waren. Ist nicht direkt unser Fall, aber am meisten hat mich geschockt, dass am Abend ein Hundebesitzer seinen Hund unter dem Tisch mit dem Besteck gefüttert hat. Das ist ein no go für ein Hotel. Das ist auch ein Grund, warum wir dieses Hotel nicht mehr buchen werden.

Sehr schön gelegen, direkt am Strand, ,ohne Straße dazwischen. Eigene, allerdings sehr enge Parkplätze, nur bei vorheriger Reservierung, hat bei uns zum Glück geklappt, denn an der Straße vor dem Hotel ist es unmöglich einen Platz zu finden. Restaurant sehr gut, wenn man bereit ist , teuer á la Carte zu essen. Bei den Komplettmenüs, die auch die Gäste mit Halbpension erhalten, sind die Portionen viel kleiner und auch geschmacklich spürt man, wo an diesen Menüs gespart wird Frühstück sehr vielfältig, sogar mit Theke für frisch zubereitete Eierspeisen. Eigener Strandbereich mit Sonnenschirmen und Liegen.

Die Matratzen waren extrem hart. Ich habe mich morgens unausgeschlafen gefühlt und hatte Schmerzen am ganzen Körper, sogar den Oberschenkelmuskeln.

The location is fantastic, we couldn't choose between staying somewhere like this or Collioure, but we're glad we stayed here. We went in early September, slightly out of season, so it was nice and quiet. There were plenty of beds available at both the pool and at the beach - and the ones at the beach were free in September. We didn't eat at the restaurant though, so can't comment, but the bar was reasonably priced. There were some local shops and a few local restaurants. If you walk about 15mins you could go to Argeles Plage but it's really tacky, I wouldn't recommend it. For restaurants or culture, I'd go to Collioure in the evening, it's a stunning place, but for a beach holiday, this location was great. We stayed opposite the hotel in the apartment style rooms they have which was mostly fine. And we parked our car for free a few minutes walk down the road - although again, this was in September, I don't know how busy it might get in July/August.

The worst thing by far was the constant smells of drains in the bathroom, it was constant. We weren't there for long, so we couldn't be bothered to try to complain and switch rooms, and once you closed both rooms to the bathroom, the bedroom smelled fine. But the drain smell was disgusting. Other than that, the decor is a little dated, the fridge barely makes anything cold and I get the feeling that this place might get a bit too busy in the Summer - but is great when quieter.

Jantar muito demorado Várias vezes outras pessoas receberam o prato subsequente antes de nós, embora haviam chegado para jantar depois de nós. Houve problema também com a mesa de queijos, foi recusada por duas noites, houve uma grande confusão na terceira noite e por fim na última noite incluída na sequência do Menu. Os quartos eram bem pequenos, mas confortáveis. Elevador extremamente pequeno.

Il y avait juste le plafond de la chambre qui était en réfection je suppose et la terrasse pas top. On se prend la poussière de ceux qui sont au-dessus parce qu'il y a des fentes, la terrasse est en lattes de bois

Les chambres vieillottes et le petit déjeuner qui ressemeble à une cantine en moins bien. Le prix est exhorbitant par rapport à la prestation.

Une partie des chambres sont en annexe donc de l’autre côté de la route, du coup vu sur la rue. Ne mérite pas 4 étoiles : salle de bain à améliorer, pas de bouteille d’eau à l’arrivée, pas de frigo.

La sécurité : orteil cassé en glissant en sortant de la douche. À 2 pas de la mer, pas besoin de prendre la voiture, meme les nombreux restaurants de bord de plage et les marchés peuvent etre rejoints à pied

The hotel is a lovely, located just a few metres from the sea, with its own beach area and sun loungers. The room was pleasant, quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, especially the eggs, which were freshly prepared to order. There are also a few play areas for children near the hotel, which is a nice addition for families. We got free parking infront of hotel.

Our experience at check-out left us disappointed. Our baby had fallen asleep, so we asked if it would be possible to extend our check-out by just 1 hour. We were told that we could, but only for an additional charge of around €40. We found this far too expensive for just one extra hour and therefore declined. As a result, we had to leave the hotel with a sleeping baby in arms in the midday summer heat. I would have completely understood if extending our stay had not been possible because the room urgently needed to be cleaned for the next guests. But since a late check-out was available as long as we paid 40€ (means that room is free), it was disappointing that the hotel was not willing to show a little flexibility or understanding in our situation with baby.

De lokatie is geweldig, je loopt binnen een minuut het strand op. Het centrum is 15 minuten lopen. Het personeel is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kamer aan straatkant met zicht op het strand.

Af en toe wat mieren gespot op de kamer. Aangeven bij de receptie en dan zorgen zij dat het extra wordt schoongemaakt.

Very nice room with balcony and small living room, a pretty pool and many comfortable chairs and sofas outside for apero time!

Superb location with reserved beach area with sun loungers. Bedrooms with excellent air conditioning and lovely balcony views of pool and ocean.Excellent restaurant with a varied menu and well priced local wines. Amazing staff always helpful and friendly. Spotlessly clean hotel with beach towels available and a beautiful patio area. Live music some evenings and a we had a very relaxing and enjoyable two week stay.

Very little! Breakfast choices are a little limited but with a short walk to the port there are plenty of other options.

Le personnel est vraiment accueillant, particulièrement Etienne qui a toujours le sourire et le petit mot pour vous accueillir le matin. L'hôtel est bien placé, au bord de la plage et à ¼h de marche des premiers endroits sympathiques.

Nous etions dans une chambre de l'annexe (de l'autre côté de la route ou se situe l'hôtel) Le point faible est la salle de bain qui à mon sens, n'est pas digne d'un 4 étoiles et qui mériterait d'être améliorée (finition grossière, parfoit de mauvaise odeur remontant du siphon et la visite de fourmis (dès lors que nous ouvrions la fenêtre)

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour au Grand Hôtel du Lido à Argelès. L’emplacement est idéal, parfait pour profiter pleinement de la mer et des environs. Les grands points forts de l’hôtel sont sans aucun doute sa belle piscine et son restaurant, qui propose une expérience très appréciable. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié l’accueil : un personnel souriant, chaleureux et toujours agréable. Un grand merci tout particulièrement aux femmes de chambre pour leur gentillesse, leur discrétion et leur travail. Une très belle expérience, que nous recommandons avec plaisir !

La proximité de la plage

Devoir payer le transat à la plage d’autant que c’est plus cher que les autres plages privées. Le petit déjeuner manquait de produits locaux et de jus d’oranges frais.

What we loved about our stay was the fantastic family room. It felt more like two rooms combined into one spacious suite, making it the perfect setup for a family holiday. There was a comfortable double bed for us, a separate double bed for our 13-year-old, and a sofa bed that had already been made up for our 9-year-old on arrival, which was a thoughtful touch. The layout was exceptionally well designed, with separate toilet and shower facilities between the two main sleeping areas, plus two balconies. It allowed us all to stay together while still having our own space. The air conditioning was also excellent and was very much appreciated during the summer heat. The breakfast was superb and genuinely one of the best hotel breakfasts we have experienced. There was an excellent selection with something for everyone, and the speciality honey was a lovely touch. Our particular favourites were the fresh bakery items, fruit and yoghurt, and the delicious fruit juices. Everything was fresh, well presented and regularly replenished. The location was also spot on. Being right on the beachfront was wonderful, and the hotel struck the perfect balance between convenience and tranquillity. It was quiet and peaceful, yet only around a 10-minute walk from the busier areas with restaurants, bars and shops. Close enough to enjoy everything Argelès has to offer, but far enough away to avoid any noise. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return. We will definitely be back!

Nothing comes to mind. We had a fantastic stay and genuinely can’t think of any negatives worth mentioning. The hotel delivered exactly what we were looking for, and we would happily stay here again.

Bed was erg klein, airco in de kamer werkte niet goed. Ontbijt viel tegen en was buiten wat op zich heerlijk is maar daardoor konden de vogels op het buffet van het eten eten wat niet heel hygiënisch was.

Place de parking petite et chère. Petit déjeuner tres bon et copieux mais au même prix que le repas de midi, 23 € c'est trop pour un petit dej !! Ligne d'eau de la piscine salle et vieillotte. Qu un escalier pour toute la piscine. Les transats sont un peut viellissant.

Plage très proche ce qui est très appréciable. Petit déjeuner copieux en bord de piscine très agréable.

All the food is freshly produced by some very talented chefs. Nothing is too much trouble for them to meet your requirements. We keep returning as the owner sets a very high standard and the staff follow in his footsteps. The location is pretty much on the beach 👌

We never used to have to pay for parking and now we do at 18 euros a night it soon adds up. Also the spaces are v small

Very friendly welcome. Ease of parking, the rooms were lovely with plenty of space. We had the room with the small lounge attached. We enjoyed the use of the fridge and a kettle in our room. Wonderful views from all of the rooms. We especially liked the cool filtered water tap in reception as we could top up our water bottles.

It is at the beach

It’s very old, good maintenance but old

+ The location is wonderful, it is right on the beach and a 15 min walk to the restaurants on the promenade. + We had one family room, which was very comfortable for 2 adults and 2 kids. The AC works well. The room was clean when we checked in and cleaned well every day. The housekeeping was very kind. + We also had a suite, which was luxurious and the view was fantastic. + The pool is very comfortable with plenty of sun beds and umbrellas, and you can order snacks and drinks from the bar. + The hotel terrace is beautiful for dinner, overlooking the pool and sea. The food was delicious. + The staff at reception, breakfast and the bar is so friendly and everyone makes an effort to speak English. + Breakfast is good for kids - there is an egg and omelette station, cold cuts and cheese, smoked salmon, as well as fresh pastries, pancakes and Nutella.

Nothing at all. When I checked out I recommended that they put a clothes drying rack on the balcony of the family rooms, so that you don’t have to hang your wet towels and swimsuits on the 2 chairs.

Hôtel 4 étoiles Pas de fer a repasser, en chambres, vous devez amener votre linge.pour vous le repasser dans la buanderie,pas de bouteille d'eau accueil, j'ai du payer 6 euros 1 litres d'eau minérale .Après avoir payer ma chambre 280 euro la nuit. C'était mon choix ,mais j'ai étais dessus des équipements. Le garde corp de la grande terrasse était remplis de toile d'araignées. Je trouve que ces prestations ne correspondent pas à un hôtel 4 étoiles malgré le cadre vraiment très beau et un personnel très sympathique.

L'emplacement c'est tout malheureusement.

Etablissement surcote. Chambre 42, mal insonorisée, contiguë à l'ascenseur. Dont le prix varie d'une nuit à l'autre (sic..), en l'occurrence 3 nuits à 140 euros une à 150 ? Sans explication. Repas très cher (diner) pas justifié, surtout. C'est un Etablissement qui profite de sa situation géographique. Dont le prix des prestations est très surévalué par rapport aux prestations rendues. Dommage. Très surcote.

The parking lot can be difficult as it’s very small. I was unable to manœuvre my car into the space. But the hotel deducted the parking fees.

Nette Mitarbeiter, hilfsbereit. Die Hotelanlage insgesamt war sehr schön.

Dass ich als ältere Alleinreisende über die Straße musste , um in den Pool zu gehen . Ich habe ihn leider nicht genutzt . Es steht nicht in der Beschreibung, dass man im Nebenhaus untergebracht wird . Singlereisende haben leider oft Nachteile , obwohl man ja meist einen höheren Preis bezahlt.

Das Hotel liegt sehr schön direkt am Meer und abseits des lauten Touristenrummels. Das Abendessen war jedesmal eine kulinarische Überraschung.

Leider gibt es weder im Badezimmer noch am Spiegel im Flur Steckdosen.

Pas de vue sur mer comme annoncé La salle de main pas très propre avec un siphon du lavabo qui goutte et pas de rideau à la douche. Au bord de lavabo piscine il y à tellement de chaises longues qu’il n’y a aucune intimité. Les tables ne sont pas débarrassées et les chaises longues sont très sales. Idem au bord de la plage où les chaises sont louées.

Uniquement la personne à l’accueil le jour du départ (je ne me souvenais plus si le petit déjeuner était compris…) qui m’a dit : Voilà ce que c’est de ne pas réserver directement chez nous et de passer par booking !!! » c’était un dimanche matin vers 8h !!! Sinon tout le personnel très agréable et eux ..souriant Dommage de partir sur cette mauvaise impression
