Pequeno almoço com pouca variedade.

Zimmer war sauber und gute Aussicht auf den Ozean. Frühstück war gut, mit viele verschiedene Essen, Personal war nett. Buffet war extra für 25 Eur am Abend mehr als ausreichend.

La vue sur la mer est garantie, c’est magnifique. Les lits sont confortables et la chambre très spacieuse. La piscine est à bonne température et les draps de bain sont fournis.

Le petit déjeuner bien que varié et copieux n’a rien d’exceptionnel. Idem pour le restaurant buffet du soir qui n’est pas d’un très bon rapport qualité prix.

Sijainti vaatii auton käyttöä. Hotellin liittymät ja ajo P-paikalle ovat jyrkät, mutta Madeiralla tyypilliset. Hotelli oli siisti ja henkilökunta oli mukavaa. Perheyritys, jossa kohtaaminen opli henkilökohtaista. Ravintolassa vain vuoropäällikkö tuntui osaavan englantia. Aamiainen oli yllättävän runsas, lähes skandinaavinen. Huoneet siivottiin joka päivä. uima-allas ja laaja aurinkoterassi mahdollistavat retkeilijälle "vapaapäivän" hotellilla. Hotelli oli valikoitunut rauhallisuutta arvostavien ihmisten majoitukseksi.

Ravintolan illallistarjonta (Alacarte) olisi voinut olla runsaampi. Tämän vuoksi iltasyöminen jäi hotellilla vähäiseksi.

Kamer eeg gied, erg goede douche. Elke dag schone handdoeken, we hiefde ze niet op de grond achter te laten. Ontbijt ook goedF en nnier vergeten het zwembad, heerlijk na een dag stappen.

Petit déjeuner très complet continental avec des produits locaux. Boissons chaudes au choix lyophilisées ou café en grains. Fruits frais variés tous les jours. Hôtel localisé sur les hauteurs de Ribeira Brava, toutes les chambres sont face océan à 5 minutes en voiture des axes principaux de l'ile ( à 35' de l'aéroport). Serviettes de piscine et peignoirs de bain fournis. Parking gratuit.

Pas de vrais jus de fruits au petit déjeuner.

Astreine Urlaubswoche! Sehr positiv: Lage am Hang des Ortes mit klasse Meerblick, geräumige Zimmer mit Balkon, super Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen, ruhiges Hotel ohne Remmidemmi, sehr freundliches Personal und guter Service, Essen "nur" ok, Pool, Gym. Genau der richtige Ort für Wanderer, Paare, Gruppen - aber mit Mietwagen bitte. Runter zum Strand/zur Stadt ca. 2 km, hoch sehr steil. Genügend Parkplätze und kostenlos (!). Minimarket mit ganz guter Küche 150m entfernt. Fest steht, dass aktive Urlauber aber auch Sonnenanbeter hier genau richtig sind und recht wenig bezahlen für viel Gutes. Wer mehr Sterne braucht oder bequemer veranlagt ist, sollte wegbleiben und daran denken, dass alles ca. 700km vom Festland stattfindet. Gelassen sein und genießen!

Personnel top , très sympathique et efficace si le moindre soucis , petit déjeuner excellent ainsi que la literie. L’emplacement bien pour visiter l’île en étoile.

Il faut la voiture pour aller au centre-ville c’est le seul petit bémol.

La vue sur la mer

We had a fantastic time in Hotel Do Campo. The location is perfect for us, with great views onto the sea and a central spot if you want to explore both the East and the West of Madeira. The room was very spacious and comfortable, and impeccably maintainted. The food, both for breakfast and a few evening meals, was varied, fresh and delicious. The staff was pleasant and extremely helpful (we had a very early flight out and they organised a pickup for us with a very kind and reliable taxi, who charged us less in the middle of the night than ubers had during the day. Our *only* gripe is that a bus of extremely noisy and quite disrespectful spanish tourists arrived after a few days. They invaded the terrace, shouted at one another from distant rooms and this continued into the late hours. We would have liked the staff to clear them out of the terrace at the prescribed time in order to get some sleep. I know this is difficult and that others, in higher rooms might have not be bothered as much. But for us, it was a nuisance. Other than that, a very nice stay.

Very nice hotel, lots of amenities. Room is genuinely very lovely comfortable and quiet. The pool is just absolutely brilliant. You’ve got a choice of an outdoor cold pool and an indoor warm pool. Car parking is really easy at the hotel which I know helps a lot of tourists cause a lot of hotels have really tricky car parks. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very nice and we only had dinner a few times, but it was really really good. Hotel slightly expensive prices for rooms and it’s unavailable at peak times probably because it’s such a good hotel. Special shout out to the reception lady who helped me retrieve some clothes that had fall off my balcony, thank you for your help!

The view was beautiful. The staff were very nice.

V hotelu byla dobrá snídaně, bazén s vířivkou byl příjemným zpestřením. Dostatek parkovacích míst je bonusem u tohoto hotelu.

Friendly reception staff. Nice clean hotel. A small glass of welcome wine was a nice start to the trip. Good location but car was needed. Lovely breakfast, the bread especially was delicious and fresh every morning. We got engaged and staff were very kind providing petals to decorate the room and champagne on request.

The bed was rather hard. Dinner was slightly disappointing. It could be hard to park, especially if coming back late. Lighting in the room was limited as there were only lamps and lights on the mirror, no main room light.

L'hôtel a des chambres avec de belles vues sur l'Atlantique. Le petit-déjeuner nous a beaucoup plus avec des fruits,du fromage, des œufs,de la charcuterie... Le personnel est discret et à l'écoute. Une voiture est indispensable pour faire des visites de cette magnifiques Ile de Madère.

Really nice Room quite luxurious with a balcony massive bed great cupboard nice bathroom. Great hotel amenities there is a heated indoor pool an outdoor pool and a Jacuzzi. Unfortunately, the spa seems to be closed, which is a bit a bit annoying. Location is great though ideally you have a car parking is easy as well

Unfortunately, it is a bit expensive not prohibitively so but compared to other hotels, it is a little bit more pricier

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The atmosphere is amazing — very relaxing, stylish, and welcoming. The hotel has a great vibe that makes you feel comfortable from the first moment. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and cozy, and everything felt easy and pleasant. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the vacation. Would definitely come back again!

Mooi hotel, met alles er op en aan. De ligging wel erg de berg op. Handig je kon er in de avond voor een klein bedrag eten. Buffetvorm. Makkelijk parkeren

What a wonderful atmosphere this hotel has — it feels so warm and welcoming, almost like home. The food was absolutely delicious: both breakfasts and dinners were fresh, tasty, and of a very high standard. The view deserves special praise — truly breathtaking. There are also great facilities: swimming pools, a spa area, and a fun entertainment corner where you can play table tennis, billiards, table football, and more. A huge thank you to all the staff — everyone working there was incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive. You can really feel how much care they put into creating a great experience for guests. We would genuinely love to come back again.

The only small thing worth mentioning is that the soundproofing between rooms could be slightly better, as sometimes neighboring rooms could be heard. But overall, everything was wonderful.

Vriendelijk personeel, bij het buffet vond ik ze een beetje ongemakkelijk, maar dat kwam misschien door de taalbarrière. Mooie kamer met mooi uitzicht, paar dingen wel aan een opknapbeurtje toe (bijv opgekruld kozijn in badkamer) maar niet storend en wel goed schoon. Schoonmaakster deed iedere dag goed haar best al had dit van mij niet iedere dag gehoeven, maar er is geen kaartje om aan de deur te hangen dat het niet hoeft. Airco is meer een ventilator, als je de gordijnen overdag dichthoudt is het wel voldoende, maar 1 dag had ik gordijn een stukje opengelaten en bleef het ondanks airco op laagste temperatuur en hoogste ventilatiestand toch nog heel lang warm op de kamer. Ik heb zowel ontbijt als dinerbuffet meerdere dagen uitgeprobeerd en vond dit goed te eten en voldoende afwisseling. Er is voldoende (gratis) parkeergelegenheid.

Es wurde nicht gereinigt sondern lediglich die Betten gemacht und Handtücher gewechselt. Betten waren sehr hart und im Bad war ein „Schwimmbadföhn“

Wspanialy hotel! Przepiekny widok, personel przemily. Sniadania super, czysciutko. Jedyne co, to polecam osobom z samochodem, zreszta podobnie, jak w poprzednich komentarzach. Jest wysokie podejscie. Hotel polecam z calego serca.

Bardzo wygodne łóżka, codzienne sprzątanie pokoi, położenie blisko morza i miasteczka na piechotę 20 min ;) dobre śniadanka ;) ładny widok z balkonu na morze ;) obsługa bardzo miła i pomocna. Bardzo duży parking.

Brakowało mi kompletu sztućców w pokoju chociażby żeby pokroić owoce :) Ale to szczegół ;) Obiekt może kiedyś zasługiwał na 4 gwiazdki, jednak teraz jest mocno postarzały, potrzebowałby generalnego remontu (poczerniałe silikony w łazienkach, poczerniałe deszczownice pod prysznicem). Basen bardzo malutki, strasznie dużo chloru w jacuzzi, tak że tylko raz do niego weszliśmy.

Piękny widok, blisko do promenady (chociaż droga do hotelu jest mocno pod górkę). Wygodny i duży parking. Spokojna atmosfera

Wygląd korytarzy jak w szkole i rysunki dziecięce na ścianach. Chyba była to szkoła lub przedszkole :) chociaż w tłumaczeniu można znaleźć informację że do Campo to obóz. Może kolonie tu były?

Situé sur les hauteurs de Ribeira Brava, l'hôtel offre une vue imprenable sur la mer depuis son balcon. L'établissement est accessible par une route sinueuse. Un parking gratuit, doté de nombreuses places, constitue un avantage appréciable. La chambre est spacieuse, lumineuse et des plus agréables.

La Restauration. C'est le bémol du séjour. Que ce soit pour le petit-déjeuner ou le dîner, la qualité n'est malheureusement pas à la hauteur du reste des prestations.

The location is nice, with a good view over the sea. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were kind and helpful. The breakfast was good with some variety.

Fantastic! It was one of the best trips we had, and we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Marvelous view and friendly staff.

Although everything was clean and neat, some of the bedsheets and the shower towel seemed very old.

Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing and far below what was advertised. The food was consistently poor — often cold, tasteless, and at times genuinely inedible. Dining felt more like an inconvenience than something to enjoy, which is unacceptable for a hotel claiming a four-star standard. The hotel itself lacked any kind of welcoming or appealing atmosphere. It felt tired and neglected rather than relaxing or comfortable. One of the biggest misrepresentations is the claim that this is a “spa hotel.” In reality, there are no proper spa facilities included. Guests are required to pay £10 per hour, and even then, the sauna and Turkish steam room are so small they only fit two people. The indoor jacuzzi was completely unusable, containing no water and even dead cockroaches — which was frankly shocking. We also had an unpleasant experience in the restaurant where we were told we could not have our own unopened bottle of water at the table and were forced to purchase water from the hotel. This felt unnecessary and overly restrictive. The room itself was not much better. The bed had collapsed at the edge, making it very uncomfortable to sleep. When we raised the issue, we were given a mattress topper, which did nothing to resolve the problem. Overall, this hotel is being marketed as a four-star property, but in our experience, it does not even meet basic two-star standards. I would strongly advise others to be cautious. Looking at online reviews, there appears to be a pattern of very negative feedback followed by clusters of overly positive five-star reviews, which raises concerns about their authenticity. Unfortunately, this stay was a major letdown, and we would not return.
