Haadson Resort

The location was amazing. The bungalow was outdated and needs a full reno. Its overpriced as is.

Had the penthouse suite which is a mighty walk from the beach so beware if you struggle with mobility. The view was great which is about the only positive I can give. Also far from everything so now I know why their was so many back packers on scooters. If you want luxury then look elsewhere as this really is an upmarket backpackers place to stay.

Exquisite location with an eccentric and wonderful restaurant. The pool was mediocre but who cares,when there is a pristine beach ? The staff were very kind and accommodating.

Paid for a deluxe bedroom which was fairly expensive compared to other hotels. The room had no tv the door wouldn’t lock and the room and bathroom was horrible. When I asked what was deluxed about my room I had no answer. I requested a change of room where we would get an ok room we were then given the exact same room but with single beds. I then requested my money back and cancel the room they then refused and kept saying it’s deluxed. Eventually they agreed to swap/“upgrade” us to a bungalow which was just as basic as the first room. I’m not sure weather they were just fully booked and let us pay for a deluxe room and put us in a standard room but the rooms were awful.

Skønt afslappende Resort, med den lækreste lokation lige ved stranden! Der ligger en restaurant 2 minutter væk fra, nede ved strand som er såå smuk - helt klart et besøg værd! Resortet ligger lidt væk fra fullmoon party hvilket gør det til et super godt sted at slappe af.

Melhor hotel em koh phangan na beira da praia em uma das mais lindas e sossegadas com uma praia no canto esquerdo bem reservada. Hotel muito lindo com por do sol na frente ótimo restaurante vista incrível do quarto lugares lindos para fotos na área do hotel com diversos peixes coloridos. Atendimento nota 10. Alugue uma moto pois será necessário para conhecer toda ilha. Super indicado ótimos preço custo benefício maravilhoso. Nos surpreendeu.

Amazing resort. The location is absolutely breathtaking. The koh Raham beach diner which is sort of on the resort is out of this world. A must for anybody travelling to Koh Phangan, not just for the view and ambience but the food aswell. Oh and not forgetting the secret beach. That is like an extra added bonus which also has a beach bar and restaurant serving well priced food and refreshing cocktails.

Staff veramente scadente... per farti pulire la camera glie lo devi andare a chiedere appositamente altrimenti non lo fanno.. Dopo aver pulito la nostra stanza non hanno messo ne bagnoschiuma ne shampo.. Alla reception sono quasi scocciati di doverti dare retta. Un vero peccato x l' hotel perche molto carino... Si salva la spiaggia e il ristorante. Non lo consiglio affatto.

Schönes Hotel an einem Traumstrand. Frühstück war nicht so gut, waren dann ausserhalb frühstücken. Wir hatten eine Ocean Deluxe Villa mit offenem Bad gebucht aber leider gibt es diese überhaupt nicht und waren sehr enttäuscht auch wegen dem nicht vorhandenen offenem Badezimmer. Die Bungalows sind schön ,alle mit großer Hängematte auf der Terasse. Ein Roller ist ein muss...eine traumhafte Insel mit wunderschönen Stränden.

Prima verblijf voor paar dagen. Secret beach was top! Een vd mooiste stranden van koh phanang. Eten en drinken bij restaurant was goed, met fantastisch uitzicht over zee.

wir hatten Standard gebucht, aber das Niveau der Ausstattung war unterirdisch.

Der Strand ist sagenhaft und eignet sich hervorragend zum Schwimmen. Leider ließ der Service etwas zu Wünschen übrig. Ich hatte mir mehr Herzlichkeit und Freundlichkeit erwartet, diese blieb leider aus. Es scheint, als sei das Management nicht sonderlich gut; die Mitarbeiter wirkten demotiviert und überfordert. Auf Bestellungen musste man lange warten, ebenso wie auf eine Person, die überhaupt eine Bestellung entgegen nimmt. Ich hatte den Eindruck, die Arbeitsbedingungen sind so schlecht, dass die MA darunter leiden. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, es konnte aus verschiedenen Angeboten eines ausgewählt werden. Ich fand es gut, dass es kein Buffet gab, da dies die Wegwerfquote von Resten verringerte. Vielleicht lag es an der Reisezeit, Mitte August, da sind viele Deutsche unterwegs, die bekanntlich zu viel motzen. Alles in Allem war es für 4 Tage OK.

La zona es muy tranquila. No hay localidades cerca. El hotel da directamente a la playa (secret beach) y a un bar/restaurante precioso enclavado en un saliente del mar. Todo el hotel está muy bien decorado con plantas, parece que estás en medio de la jungla. Lo que más me gustó de la habitación es lo apartada que está del resto de habitaciones (bungalow) y perfectamente camuflada entre la vegetación. Desde la piscina se puede ver ponerse el sol sobre el mar. La terraza desde donde sirven el desayuno es muy bonita.

Love this place!! Best beach bar in the world ! It's a cool little beach hotel with a beach bar/ lounge atmosphere. The fresh cocktail program was fantastic too. The best part about this place(apart from the amazing sunsets, snorkeling off the edge of the bar and wonderful service) is that it is far enough away from the full moon party that it's not overrun with a bunch of hard partying kids. I'll never forget my stay here for my honeymoon. Gung at the front desk is super friendly and helpful too! I would stay again and recommend again.

We stayed at this resort mostly for the location. The beach is absolutely amazing here. We stayed in the standard Bungalow and it was pretty decent but I had a problem with the hight of the bathroom door being very low and having to duck my head in every time.

Das Hotel liegt nicht in direkter Strandlage. Zum Strand sind es ca. 300m, die man durch eine Partner-Appartmentanlage gehen muss. Dort kann man auch Liegen und Pool mit nutzen. Das Hotel selbst hat auch einen Pool, die Zimmer im EG haben direkten Zugang zum Pool. Das Frühstücksbuffet befindet sich in einem Restaurant gegenüber vom Hotel.

Awesome location and friendly staff. We LOVED our stay at the Haadson Resort. It is a very laid back atmosphere. Not a fancy hotel, but has everything we needed with a nice beach close and cool restaurant . We will definitely be ging back!

Отель по всему своему наполнению соответствует 1-ой звезде! Если Вам необходимо такси) вы его не сможете заказать, уборка номера только по просьбе на ресепшене, большие расстояния к номерам в горку (пожилые люди жить тут не смогут), рестораны плохие, тараканы к номерам прилагаются.

Hotellet ligger et stykket fra Haad Rin hvor Full Moon bliver holdt, men hotellet arrangere bus dertil, så det er let nok at komme frem og tilbage. Vi boede i villa med have, det var meget primitivt og ville til hver en tid bestille de nye værelser som ligger ud til stranden. Stranden er fantastisk og der er meget liv på stranden og haven rundt om hotellet, så snorkling er en mulighed.

They have nice facilities but the rooms are not the most spacious and clean. Everything is far so you'll have to always eat at the one overpriced restraunt there if you don't rent a motorbike

Da vi ankom tog det ikke mere end 2 minutter før vi var på værelset og lige blev vist rundt og der blev fortalt hvor alt var henne. Værelset lå med blik på havet med altan og var rigeligt stort til 2 personer. Der var ingen liggestole ved stranden, men til gengæld var de ude på en "kunstig ø", hvor der også var hængekøjer, der var rigtig skønt og man kunne også få serveret mad og drikke der, hvis man havde lyst, de var meget servicemindet og rigtig søde. Vi spiste på hotellets restauranter hver aften, da maden var super lækker og meget billig. Da det næsten ikke regnede imens vi var der kunne vi stort set altid spise ved den restaurant lige ud til havet, hvor de også spillede god musik og der var rigtig hyggeligt. Morgenmad var god, men ikke så meget udvalg.

Havde en enkelt der. Ok hotel, men ligger alt for langt for haason beach hvor full moon party finder sted. Langt til restauranter.

I had a great stay here for 4 nights in Feb 2013. The beach is wonderful and just a short walk down the hill. The hotel lobby area and restaurant served great cheap food till around 10PM. They also had a wonderful pier/waterfront bar and restaurant which had the same menu but a different view. I had my own bungalow for the equivalent of $40/night with a queen sized bed and my own balcony with a hammock and chair. It was great staying here and if I'm ever in Koh Phangan again I'll be sure to stay here for at least a couple nights.

Vi bodde kun to netter på dette hotellet. Vi hadde først bestilt en villa, men disse ligger høyt oppe fra stranden og er meget slitte og gamle. Så vi oppgraderte og flyttet inn i et hotellrom som lå helt nede ved stranden, disse har noe bedre standard enn villaene. Maten i restauranten var god og beliggenheten på strandbaren er kjempe koslig med solnedgang og nydelig utsikt. Det eneste negativet er at både bar og restaurant stenger ca ved halv elleve tiden, og da stenger hele hotellet...så det var ikke annet å gjøre enn å gå gatelangs for å prøve å finne en annen plass å sitte for å ta noen drinker etter middagen. Vi fant et annet hotell ca 15 min gange hvor det var liveband og åpent utover natten. Ikke noe særlig med natteliv ellers rundt hotellet.

Our first room, the Garden Villa Standard, had numerous problems including a bathroom sink that drained directly onto the floor, no bathroom ventilation, bad room smell, missing lightbulbs and basic room amenities such as there was not a table or light switch by the bed. We talked with hotel staff and hotels.com as our room was not at all as described when we made the reservation. Hotel staff upgraded us to the Garden Villa Superior for a small additional cost. The Garden Villa Superior room was fine, although it still didn't match the description I was given when booking a room at this hotel. Thank you hotels.com for you prompt response on our room problems.

Alt i alt var vi veldig fornøyde med oppholdet. Hotellets hjemmesider forteller at oppholdet inkluderer frakt til og fra båthavnen, men dette viste seg altså ikke å være tilfelle. Ikke store summene å betale (ca. 30 kr per vei), men blir ekstra jobb å finne egen transport. Bungaloven vi bodde i ligger rett ved stranden og hadde 50 meters gange til både beachbar og strand. Rommet hadde alt som trengs og var rent og fint ved fremmøte. Dessverre så vasker ikke hotellet disse rommene mer enn maks annenhver dag. Vi bodde der i 7 dager og fikk kun 3 vask (inkl. siste dagen). Det som virkelig var positivt med resorten var de ansatte ved beacbaren/cafeen. Disse var serviceminded, utrolig hyggelige og lagde fantastiske drinker og god mat. Totalt sett: Anbefales :)

宿泊したバンガローからすぐ坂を下るとプライベートビーチがあり、遠浅で人影もあまりなく 恋人とゆっくりしたり、家族連れで子供を遊ばせたりするのにぴったりだと思います。ホテルスタッフはシャイな人が多かったですが、基本的に親切で清潔感があると思います。泊まったバンガローは堅牢ではないですが、ハンモックがついたテラス付きでバスルームも広く、クイーンサイズのベッドが二つあってよかったです。朝食を食べる２Fのスペースからの眺めが素晴らしく、気持ちよく食事ができました。事情があってこのホテルのレストランでは食事はしませんでしたが、美味しそうでしたし、海に張り出したビーチ沿いのレストランはとても素敵な感じでした。そのレストランの先に突き出たデッキにハンモックやチェアがあり、夕日を眺めるのにも最適だと思います。喧騒から逃れて、静かに海を楽しんだりのんびりしたりするのには最高のロケーションだと思います。

Die Hotelanlage ist schön angelegt und gut gepflegt, der Privatstrand ist sauber. Allerdings sind die Bilder im Internet nicht von den Standard-Garten-Villen, in der wir übernachtet haben. Diesen würde eine Renovierung gut tun! Das Personal - mit Ausnahme der Männer, die das Frühstück betreuen - war nicht besonders nett und hilfsbereit.

Nous n'avons jamais profité de la plage de l'hôtel mais elle semble très bien par rapport à ce que nous avons vu des plages de l'île. L'hôtel est très grand, on peut toujours trouver son coin intime. Dommage que l'attitude du personnel gâche un peu le tout. Pas d'internet dans les chambres. La chambre est nettoyée tous les deux jours. Se méfier des petits déjeuners, assez moyens. Bien expliquer ce que l'on veut manger. Odeur nauséabonde dans la SDB.

This hotel is great. It has great value, and it is beautifully situated on the island. If you come to Phanang to party, this might not be the hotel for you, but if you come to relax, it must be one of the best, both in terms of cost but also situation. The hotel could by little innput transform itself to a 4 star resort in my view, but I guess keeping cost reasonable has been more important for them. Some improvements on the renovation (ie bathromm wall etc) and proffesionality by the staff (i e uniforms) could easily be made with benefit. The snorkelling off the newly made hammock area is great, and its perfect to chillax there at sunset. The menu on the restaurant has many good options, we ate at the resort most nights and was happy with the food and the price.

Quiet hotel with lovely friendly staff, the private beach makes it extra special. The room maintenance is a bit slack, not replacing the used glasses and shaking the sand off the sheets but for the price it's great value! Would recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful break close to Haad Yao and Haad Salad. Will come back for a third time.

A very lovely hotel with lots of different choice of accommodation. We had a hotel room with a beautiful sea view and great sunset views. It has a lovely little private beach and a nice swimming pool and two choices about where to eat. The gardens of the grounds where very well maintained and beautiful which meant there was a lot of wildlife to see. We stayed out of season so it was very quiet and relaxing and a good base to do day trips from such as Ko Tao (excellent snorkelling). This island is very laid back and different to Ko Samui so we weren't pressurised into buying anything or hassled on the beaches and the people were extremely friendly. When getting a ferry across from Ko Samui make sure you go to Thong Sala peer as it is the closest one to the resort.

This hotel is beautiful if your looking for a relaxing place outside of where the full moon madness happens. The area of ocean it surrounds is amazing however I can not say the same for the hotel its self. The pillows in our room were dirty along with the bathroom. There was air conditioning which was nice but we later moved to another hotel that had air con, a fridge and a tv and it cost us less than the haadson resort did. If you looking to go to the full moon party this is not a good location. While it is quiet it is about a 45 min tuk tuk ride each way and will run you about 30 dollar canadian to get there an back. It is alot farther then we were lead to believe.
