The hotel is beautifully located directly at the Vierwaldstättersee. From the rooms (with sea view), the restaurant you get magnificent views of the lake, as well the surrounding landscapes and mountains. The hotel had a guaranteed parking spot per room which was a key aspect as why I booked with this hotel. Both the dinner and the morning breakfast was taken on the terrasse of the hotel, which gave an additional atmosphere to the meals. The rooms are very comfortable, clean, spacious and nicely equipped with all you need and wish for.

Vrij duur in vergelijking met andere hotels, maar zeer mooie locatie. Sommige personeelsleden waren beleefd maar niet vriendelijk. Airco werkte niet. De ramen waren nochtans dicht.

Uns hat einfach alles gefallen. Vom Frühstück bis tum Abendessen. Und natürlich die Aussicht.

Die Betten sind etwas zu weich für uns

Wunderbares Hotel mit eingespieltem Team. Zimmer sehr sauber. Betten richtig schön bequem. Aussicht vom Balkon auf den Vierwaldstättersee war ein Traum und das Frühstück und Abendessen auf der Terrasse des Hotels ist einfach unschlagbar. Wir empfehlen das Hotel Nidwaldnerhof sehr gern weiter.

Everything! Every little detail has been sorted out. The position of the hotel is fantastic with idyllic views. The room was incredibly comfortable - I loved the pillow menu. The staff were so accommodating. I wish we had stayed for longer.

Nothing at all! I wish I had booked earlier so we had a lake view, however, that said the view from the rear to the mountains was also beautiful and of course we enjoyed the beautiful lake view at breakfast.

Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal in diesem Hotel und sind wieder begeistert. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und herzlich, das Essen war wie immer sehr lecker und die Atmosphäre einfach zum Wohlfühlen. Die schöne Lage und unser gemütliches Zimmer mit Balkon haben den Aufenthalt perfekt gemacht. Es war wieder ein toller Urlaub – wir kommen gerne wieder! Mit freundlichen Grüßen Familie Bubel

Wir waren voll und ganz mit dem Hotel Nidwaldnerhof zufrieden. Unser Zimmer ist modern eigerichtet. Wir hatten einen Balkon mit Seeblick. Dieser war traumhaft schön, da wir ein ausgesprochen fantastisches Wetter hatten über das Pfingstwochenende und die Woche danach. Das Essen ist sehr liebevoll angerichtet worden. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichlich und für jeden Geschmack war etwas dabei. Das ganze Team Nidwaldnerhof war freundlich, flink und sehr organisiert. Wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Zimmer zum See ist die Lage fantastisch. Das Zimmer war sauber, die Betten bequem. Das Personal freundlich und das Zimmer wurde einem persönlichen gezeigt. Nicht weit ab ist die Anlegestelle um mit den Fährbooten zu fahren.

Das Essen war in Ordnung. Der Service war am Abend nicht so gut lange Wartezeit, wir mussten auch bei den Getränken ein zweites Mal nachfragen bis wir diese bekamen. Für uns stimmte das Preis Leistung Verhältnis nicht.

Wunderbare Lage direkt am See. Reichhaltiges Frühstück.

Ausgesprochen freundliches Personal. Das Zimmer wurde einem persönlich gezeigt und die Funktionen erklärt. Die Aussicht ist ausserordentlich schön.

Sehr gutes Buffet, sehr schöne Seesicht

מיקום מדהים, ממש על האגם, חדר ענקקקק סוויטה בקומה האחרונה אין לשם מעלית אבל זה ממש קצת מדרגות ברגע שיוצרים מהמעלית, החדר לגמרי שווה את זה זה מושלם ברמות, המנהל רולף פשוט אדם מדהים והאוכל טעים במיוחד!! המיטות נוחות, חדר ענק מול נוף עוצר נשימה. הצוות סופר סבלני היינו עם תינוקות ולא תמיד הצלחנו להגיע בזמן לארוחה והם היו ממש אדיבים והביאו לנו הכל , מיקום פצצה בקיצור מומלץ ומושלם!

Hôtel idéalement placé, au bord du lac, la vue est magnifique Le personnel est à l'écoute et souriant. Les prestations sont de qualité. Une seule nuit "étape", en direction de l'Italie, mais à refaire pour visiter la région.

Sehr weiche Matratze

Modernes Zimmer mit Seeblick (nicht riesig, aber ausreichend) hat sehr tollen Ausblick auf den See und die Berge (da bodentiefe Fenster/Schiebetür), somit war das Zimmer auch sehr hell, trotz nicht optimalem Wetter, Bad mit toller Dusche, Frühstück hochwertig, Personal sehr freundlich, Essen im Restaurant sehr lecker und auch wieder mit Klasse Ausblick

Wie schon von anderen erwähnt, sind die TG-Stellplätze (es gibt ca. 15-20, sind gratis!) ziemlich eng (bei uns waren einige frei, so war es kein Problem)

Nous avons tout apprécié ! L'accueil à la réception, le personnel toujours souriant et disponible, le petit déjeuner, le repas du soir et bien sûr la chambre très confortable avec vue imprenable sur le lac entouré de montagnes....

Peut-être l'éclairage de notre chambre trop fort .....

Phenomenal location, beautiful rooms with lovely lake views and a panoramic restaurant with great food and friendly staff. We travelled with two children under 5 and appreciated that the restaurant and the hotel catered nicely to families with lots of attention to details that made a big difference. Breakfast was also generous with great variety!

Das Frühstück ist top!

The location on the lake. The pretty lake views from the rooms- although less appropriate on rainy winterdays. The excellent restaurant. The free large indoor parking lot. The good included breakfast.

The high cost of the rooms was not justified for the quality of the hotel rooms, not recently refurnished and made of low cost materials. Quite noisy, thin hotel room walls.

Kissen und Matratzen

Das Zimmer mit Blick auf den See hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Ein großes Lob an das Serviceteam, welches sehr engagiert und freundlich war. Ich finde es auch schön, dass Nachwuchskräfte aktiv eingebunden werden und lernen dürfen. Es gibt verschiedene Kopfkissen und Decken zur Auswahl, da ist für jeden was dabei. Die Menükarte zum Abendessen war sehr umfangreich und die Gerichte haben alle hervorragend geschmeckt. Es lohnt sich, die Halbpension zu nehmen.

Die Matratzen sind relativ weich. Das ist aber sicher Geschmackssache.
