You do have to get to the bathroom through the bedroom which worked for us as there were only two of us. The Motel does have bigger family rooms if needed though.

There was nothing l didn't like.I would recommend this lovely motel and location to anyone just so enjoyable and the bed was so comfortable to two tired Travellers who had done driving 9hrs straight to get to the destination. Southland is such a heart warming place and people are so kind .Great to be back in Southland.

The property was small and pokey. The bed was almost jammed up against the wall. You could not have the heater running at night and run the risk of catching the bedding on fire. The shower was pathetic. The light didn’t work in the second bedroom and the motel had dogs staying there and They were very inconsiderate and woke us up in the mornings. they also had dog trailers on and the motel allowed them to use other people‘s car parks for their dog trailers. And the dogs were snuck into the units at night . Over all I would not go back.

Heating not great with only one small plug in heater, nice touch on such a cold wet day would have been to have the windows closed and the heating on, it took a long time to heat the unit. Not great shower pressure.

There was a booking error and booking.com only sent the no of adults for the booking. I had booked an apartment for 6 people (4 adults 2 children and 1 toddler who didn't take up an extra bed) but on arrival the hotel charged us $25 per extra person. I’ve used Booking.com for multiple bookings on this trip, and most of them were fine. However, this booking was mishandled, booking.com support was unhelpful and the extra cost came out of my pocket. Don't trust Booking.com blindly and will double-confirme with hotels directly from now on.
