Arquitectura y diseño hermoso pero algo de habitaciones ruidosas
Todo me pareció excelente
Uno de los hoteles mas hermosos y cómodos del mundo. Sin duda siempre que vaya a SLP me hospedaré ahi.
Beautiful and historic hotel. Excellent location. Very good views of the mountains from the upper terrace. Great staff. Would definitely stay there again!
Una hermosa experiencia que nos remonta a otra época con las comodidades de este siglo
We love this place! It takes us somewhere in time, with all the contemporary comfort
Excelente! Es hotel está hermoso y muy cómodo todo! El personal es excelente!
Gracias
Buen servicio, muy bonito y buena ubicación
⸻ I’ve traveled all over the world, and every time I visit San Luis Potosí, this is my top choice. The place is stunning and full of history—truly one of a kind. The staff is exceptional: attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Great food is just a short walk away, and the VIP parking service makes everything effortless. Just pull up to the front, and they take care of the rest. The interior of the hotel is breathtaking, and the overall experience is consistently outstanding.
Buen servicio y esta precioso el Hotel.
Muy buena ubicación
Beautiful property, kind staff. I needed to have laundry done and they finished it within the day. Would stay again!
Hermoso, el personal es muy amable
Hotel is nice just make sure you have a lot of patience when it comes to find someone to order food or a drink. Other than the bed, all other furniture tables and chairs are old and springy and not comfortable. I don’t look for any modern conveniences.
El lugar es espectacular y el servicio de ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The hotel is fantastic! Please ask someone in the reception to tour you to the chapel and the cellar. We are definettly coming back soon!
This property is absolutely stunning. It’s like living in a fabulous museum surrounded by beautiful art work and lovely architecture. The pictures do not do this place justice. I fell in love with this place when I walked through the doors.
This property is a jewel!!! Every detail has been taking care of. The building is breath taking! Pictures on line does not give it justice! The suites are espectacular! All services are high end. Old time meets new era in this magnificent museum. The tour is a must, please tip the tour guide! Staff is courteous and knowledgeable.
Exelente ligar solo que las bebidas de bienvenida nunca aparecieron
Es una propiedad con bastante historia, una joya arquitectónica ... solo para quien aprecia la cultura, arte y calidad
Excelente e inolvidable estancia. La recomiendo total y absolutamente.
We staying here at palacio for two nights with Two teens and this was an mazing experience. Rooms were beautiful. Food was very delicious. Staff was great . And at the end we had a tour of palace and it was awesome! Ps don’t forget to reserve your massage there also .
Todo muy limpio y excelente ubicación
Muy bonita experiencia, Todo estuvo súper. Hermoso hotel, muy limpio y elegante. Todos súper amables y la comida excelente. Súper recomendable
This is a beautiful hotel, and well worth the stay. Huge room, very well decorated. It is also very well-located.
Staff was very accommodating. The property is impecable. History tours were very amazing and they made me feel very welcomed.
Never experienced a hotel museum before make some extra time to take a tour of the place. The staff was very professional and friendly will be returning whenever I am in the area.
An amazing property. A museum of a place. Beautiful, elegant and intimate. The staff is gracious and knowledgeable
Good
Hands down the most unique Hotel stay of my life. Words simply can't do it justice. Imagine traveling back in time to the 1800's. Definitely ask for the tour of the hotel
The staff was AMAZING!! They went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of! They offloaded our luggage and carried it to the room for us. They gave us a tour even though it was just our family and we needed it to be quick since we had a plane to catch. I wish I would have gotten his name, one gentleman helped get our luggage back to the car and let us feed the horse. The hotel is so beautiful and well worth the money to stay at. Easy to walk to many squares in the city center. I would definitely stay there again. Only suggestion I have is to put a trash can in the bedroom. The tiny one in the bathroom for toilet paper isn’t much for a family of 4. The bedroom needs a trash can for room waste. Other than that, it was very comfortable!
14th century wooden furniture is gorgeous. I felt safe leaving the balcony doors of my room open all night. Marble floor in shower. Staff is 5 star, too.
Everything was excellent except that Expedia didn’t offer didinng options
Una experiencia increíble, vale cada peso, es literalmente un palacio, renovado recientemente con un sin fin de antiguedades, la mejor experiencia hotelera que eh tenido.
Rooms were very nice. Staff is exceptional. Within short walking distance to The Plaza.
The Hotel is clean and the place is beautiful. Restaurant offered good food and service. Staff is friendly. My two complaints are as follows. 1, $250 dollars went missing from my room and the front staff and hotel security person were not apologetic, helpful nor seemed to care. 2, on the Saturday there were several wedding photo shoots inside the hotel which made it uncomfortable to enjoy the lobby. At night they had a quinceañera Party with loud music. I asked the front staff if that music was going to go on late because my groups had an early wake up. I was assured that the event would be over at 12:30 sharp. I felt more at ease after being told that. Well it was past 1:30 am and the loud music still continued. This hotel has no respect for its guests and after the party finally ended the young teenagers from the party who were staying at our hotel were loud , running around and it went on for a bit and hotel management allowed all this. In the morning when it was brought up to hotel staff they again did not apologize nor did they seem to care that we couldn’t get a good nights sleep. For the amount of money we paid for the room the service and respect from the hotel staff is insulting. I suggest staying at Hotel Progreso.
Just an incredible Historic Place! Overall very nice 😊. We were on a short mini vacation, so the only schedule change was that we scheduled a hotel tour for 11 and ended up getting the tour over 2 hours later. Only there 2 nights and they didn’t replace the towels during the one room cleaning.
I was impressed!! And Beautiful, is one of the cleanest cities I have been to in Mexico
It's a beautiful museum hotel. A lot of history. You will fall in love
Beautiful hotel
Beautiful historic property, clean and well-maintained. Restaurant staff were friendly but seemed like they didn't know what they were doing (we had to ask for napkins, lighting was like an operating room).
Extraordinario hotel-museo con una increíble historia. Se descansa muy bien, el trato es amable, el servicio muy bueno y la comida en general muy buena. Imperdible experiencia!
The Hotel Museo Palacio de San Agustin is an amazing place to stay. It is truly a palace-museum, with wonderful works of art and lovely furnishings. The rooms are spacious, lavishly decorated, with bathrooms with modern utilities, yet graciously decorated. Each room is different, with furnishings gloriously curated to fit the color palette and history of the individual for whom the room is named (note: there are no room numbers; each room has a name). The service staff is top-notch, always very attentive. Many of the rooms have a small balcony; all rooms have a modern safe, a European-style coffee maker, and are loaded with wonderful toiletries. As a guest, you are entitled to take the one hour tour of this amazing palace, including visiting the library on site, going to the chapel that is located on the Palacio's top floor, the rooftop balconies (yes, there are 2 of them and great for sunset pictures!) as well as of the underground cave that has a wine collection as as well as a large dining location for private functions. There is more to this tour, but I do not want to spoil your surprise - as there is another building across to the Palacio that you will also visit as it is owned by the Hotel's owner. As a world-traveler for the past four decades, I have never encountered such a lavish and stunning hotel, and I have stayed in numerous 5 star hotels. In my opinion, the Hotel Museo Palacio de San Agustin is the most beautiful place to see, visit and stay in San Luis Potosi.
Incredible place.....highly recommended. Great value and location. The attention to detail in the restoration is museum quality. Ps...take the hotel tour at or near dusk.....great pics from the top!
The hotel is like a museum and we were very happy with our room. However we were there 5 nights and the floor was not vacuumed or mopped once. I purposely left a piece of paper scrunched up on the floor to see if the maid picked it up but was still there after the room was cleaned. The breakfasts were good but under no circumstances should you order any alcoholic beverages. They don’t have a wine list and we ordered a bottle of Casa Madero 3V which is between $650 and $780 MP at any other restaurant, and they charged $1600 MP. When we went to order another bottle, they had no more so brought a replacement. When we got the bill the replacement was listed as $1799 MP and I pointed out to the waiter that the bill was added up wrong and should have been 1000 pesos less. He took the bill away and came back with the same total - he had added 1000 pesos more on to the second bottle of wine. I googled the bottle and it sells for $660 MP in the store so to charge $2799 is robbery - the equivalent of $170. Canadian and the wine was not that good.
Service, location and the building and furniture are amazing
The antiquities were significant
The location is ideal, the staff were super friendly, the property is beautiful.
Nothing not to like about this hotel!
The hotel is a 17th century mansion, and is nothing less than spectacular... it's actually better than the photos. It should go without saying that it is clean and well-run. Do take the hotel tour, and visit "la cava," the underground suite under the street. Mighty impressive.
Unique property, not just stay but an experience.
From the moment we entered the public parking they had notified the hotel, when we entered the reception was both kind and courteous. The place was absolutely beautiful and it was clean. The rooms where also clean and the beds where comfortable. The bathroom was also very clean and the shower and toilet worked really well. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a place to stay that is both beautiful, has historical value, and has nice rooms and good reception.
Truly beautiful hotel with an excellent and accommodating staff. Valet was waiting out front of the hotel to park car (free) and take bags to room. Easy check in. Make sure to take the tour of the entire hotel, tunnels and building across the street. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was great as well.
The location near downtrodden. The. Room was great clean and comfortable. The worker were polite and helpful.
This a fantastic gem. Wonderfully furnished throughout with antiques, but all the modern amenities. Right in Centro with perfect location near restaurants and nightlife. A high level of service and help from all staff. This is my new go-to spot in SLP!
A unique lodging experience in a museum! You’ll never forget this property. The furniture, the art, the overall coherence of the decor, is a pleasure for the senses. The staff is excellent and so is the restaurant. Totally worth the price!
Beautiful hotel. Very quaint and centrally located. Beds are not very comfortable. Restaurant not very good Overall a good experience and I would stay there again.
The best of everything! It was amazing ! We be back on December and we Look into stay there again for three nights. Thank you
This is a classic and very beautiful building. If you cannot stay here you must stop and see it!
Excellent hotel with spectacular employees. The rooms being a little small was the only issur i had but it's so minor compared to my overall experience. Verh comfortable beds, great bathrooms, clean atmosphere. Great locstion too.
The hotel staff are great, the hotel is well kept and it was a comfortable stay, very central to the city’s historic sites.
Beautiful property at walking distance from all major attractions in the city . Comfortable rooms ( we took a suite) and very friendly service. Highly recommended.
It's an 1650 building. just a different experience. it is actually a museum. great place to be at
Building and room are absolutely gorgeous. Employees are nice but a hot mess. They need to be more knowledgeable about their hotel & City.
Amazing hotel! Great customer service! Must see this truly beautiful hotel.
Our stay at the hotel was lovely. It’s one of a kind. We loved the tour and learning about the hotel’s history and unique rooms. It was very clean and quiet. The hotel was in a great location for walking to many interesting places!
Incredible hotel , staff amazing and couldn't get enough of how beautiful this place was. They explained the history of this hotel in a tour to guest free of charge and very enjoyable.
One of the worst service ever. The location is in the middle of complicated downtown. They do not have space to get into the hotel, basically you are on your own ones you get there driving. Room is clean but looks very, very old since is a thematic hotel. I do not recommend this hotel neither for the service or the location, both issues make me not to comeback or refer this hotel.
The hotel its a museo its real y increíble its Near to the centre the rooms are ver y beautyfull the Ford is increíble the staff very good its a ni ce hotel
San Luis Potosi is a beautiful historical city. One of the best sights is the Hotel Museo Palacio San Agustin. Staff gave us a tour of the hotel highlighting historical furnishings in a completely restored old palace originally used by the Agustinian Order (there is even a chapel). The dining was very tasty and presented beautifully. The entire staff was outstanding. We hated to leave!
Our stay was so fabulous. This place goes over the top,the service was extremely courteous . The hotel is very clean and comfortable.
Great staff! Particularly the receptionist while checking in during the day shift: Aline Ruiz and Gisell Lopez! My only disappointment was the restaurant ! Two separate lunches, items in the menu were not available!
Nice Boutique Hotel located in Central "Old" Downtown - very easy - safe walking to many sites and food / drink / shopping.
I visited this hotel 5 years ago just to look at the antiques and a painting by my brother in law and decided if I had the opportunity I would stay there. It would take days to take in all the beauty that lies within the walls of this hotel.
Staff was very kind, great place, food is very good. The entire staff treats you with a grate deal of respect.
Enjoyed our stay immensely. Situated in the historic center of SLP allows you to walk in every direction to restaurants, museums, shopping and nightlife. We used UBER to drive us outside of the historic area. The hotel itself is stunning. You are transported to another era the minute you walk through the hotel doors. Antique furniture, floating staircases, chapel, underground passages. Our first stay was for four nights and then returned for another three nights. Both rooms were clean, very comfortable and welcoming. The staff were always more than helpful. Always ready and willing to assist with any question we had. I would definitely return to San Luis Potosi and certainly stay at Hotel Museo Palacio de San Augustine.
A very charming small hotel, located in the heart of the historical centre of town.
We were in the historical centre and took a tour then went to the Mask Museum. Both were worth the price - tour $35. MP for 1 hour and museum $10.MP. The hotel was a fabulous retreat - have you ever had a hand painted ceiling in your shower?
Super nice hotel-museum!!
I have never ever, in 40 years of travel, stayed in such a beautiful hotel. It has less than 30 rooms, everyone a work of art by itself. A similar hotel in New York, Paris or Rome would cost you over a thousand dollars per night.
Location is great. Service is excellent too! It's great to enjoy such a historic building, very well preserved, listening to the daily pianist in the mornings and taking a ride in the carriage. It is worth paying the overprice
It is a very different experience you must live. Stay in a Museum, wow!
I found the hotel by chance and had a great experience. Not only it is really a museum, the location is great and the service very good. It is well worth the price. Congratulations to the owners for their hotel and vision
Location and service were superb. Beds were not as confortable as expected and the breakfast service was very plain. However both things compensated by the service level and the beautiful building.
My wife and I and 4 yr old son stayed Thursday night for a brief stay in San Luis Potosí. We were very well received by the front desk with a freshly squeezed juice of our choice in a flute glass which was nice. We arrived early and offered a room that was beautiful but was a littlesmall for what we had in mind so they offered a larger room without a problem. To our surprise the room was even more amazing. Details to restore and maintain the hotel are fantastic. We looked around the hotel but did not have time to take the free tour or dine at their restaurant - we regret that, but for sure the next time. We want to thank everyone there and look forward to coming bank to my home town and staying at this BEAUTIFUL hotel. Thank you
