Reviewed Sep 3, 2026Really liked the room, very spacious and bright and light. Really clean, good bathroom, one of the best places we stayed on our whole trip. Friendly staff, good breakfast too.
I don't know if I'm mistaken, but I don't think there was aircon or if there was, I missed it! We didn't stay in high summer but it would have been necessary then.

Ich verstehe das Konzept nicht, dass es die teureren Suiten nur mit Blick auf die Haupstrasse gibt. Es war zwar nachts (bei geschlossenem Fenster) weitestgehends ruhig. Trotzdem müssten meiner Meinung nach die teureren Zimmer auch die ruhigsten im Hotel sein. Das Zimmer schien zwar sauber zu sein. Aber ich habe noch nie in einem Hotel so katasrophal gereingte Badezimmetspiegel gesehen. Schade für den Gesamteindruck! Es hintetlässt dann doch Zweifel...

Just a couple of minor things. Breakfast was a bit limited, probably because of reduced amount of visitors. And it would be nice to have 1-2 towels holder close to the place where they need, not in toilet area or deep under the sink.

Reviewed Aug 4, 2026While travelling, we made a spontanous decision to spend the night somwhere on the way and found this awesome hotel. We chose it because it's located 20mins from Lake Constance (by car). The staff were very friendly, the mattress was super comfortable, breakfast had very good quality and our room was spotless!

The staff this time was a bit confused and seems a bit unprofessional, not talking about the new junior but the lady who Was training the junior was a bit puzzled in whatever she was doing. She was welcoming but was not Able to do proper scanning and printing of the documents, she was not able to easily give me access to the bicycle. Etc Also the room I was given there was no door on the bathroom the toilet was literally in your bedroom and the breakfast options were too limited.

Zimmertresor zeigte bereits "low battery" an (dies haben wir bei der Abreise gemeldet); Glas-Schiebetüre zum Badezimmer war verklemmt (dies haben wir bei der Abreise gemeldet); Frühstücksbuffet: wir sind um 08:30 zum Frühstück gekommen, aber das Angebot war dann schon recht leer (Käseplatte, keine Gipfeli mehr, ...); wir waren schon mal hier, aber damals hatte das Buffet viel besser ausgesehen.

Reviewed Sep 15, 2025Das Zimmer im 4. Stock war geräumig und sehr schön und die Betten super bequem. Es gab zusätzliche, weiche Kissen. Check-In und Check-Out waren schnell und das Personal sehr kompetent und freundlich. Beim Frühstück hatte es eine sehr grosse Auswahl und es war lecker. Ich war positiv überrascht und kann das Forum Hotel sehr empfehlen.

Reviewed Sep 8, 2025Das Personal war sehr nett!! Danke vielmals auch für die Wasserflaschen die wir erhalten haben für unsere weitere Reise. Das Zimmer war supppper praktisch aufgeteilt (4-Bettzimmer) Familie mit 2 Kinder. Auch das Bad war sehr großzügig und wunderbar praktisch gestaltet.

Reviewed Sep 10, 2024We booked a double room with a free cot for a 2 year kid and we got a large room with enough space for the cot and for moving around the bed w/o restriction. Rooms recently renovated with all essentials needs for a short stay. Breakfast buffet rich and of excellent quality above expectation. Very nice outdoor restaurant terrace at the ground floor.
In summer time, slept with open windows and got some night noise coming from the street below due to very few but idiot pimp-my-car style rumors.

It's amazing how much attention to details they have here, starting from various sockets, ending with smoothies for breakfast. The staff is shiny and welcoming. And oh this breakfast, finally lots of fruit, vegetables and warm meals. Free parking. I am impressed and cannot say anything negative at all. Widnau might not be that touristically attractive, but if you drive, I recommend staying here shortly to explore St. Gallen, Appenzel with its cheese farm, chocolarium and Appenzell village, Säntis mount and it's also a short ride to Luxembourg.

Clean, cheerful and very well organized room design. What a pleasure! We really appreciated the umbrella in the room and we needed it. St Gallen is evidently a VERY rainy part of Switzerland.

Ainut, mitä kaipasin, oli pienempi tyyny. Koska hotelli on NIIN hienostunut, niin ainut, mitä voisi ehdottaa kehittämiseksi, olisivat pehmeät isot pyyheliinat.
