Overall resort was really beautiful and amazing. Lush green and rooms were situated in front of gardens and you have amazing relaxing view to relax and chill

As a Pakistani traveller, Foods at the restaurants are not upto the mark, although view from the restaurants and facilities and staff are amazing.

Everything could have been fine if it were not for the restaurant and the poor overall maintenance of the resort, which completely ruined our stay at Handara Golf & Resort Bali. What is especially disappointing is that management has been replying to negative reviews for more than a year with the same standard message promising improvements. However, judging by the reviews and our own experience, nothing has changed. I strongly recommend that management watch the videos posted by previous guests showing rats in the restaurant. These are not just written complaints but visual evidence of a long-standing hygiene problem. Guests on Booking.com have repeatedly reported poor sanitation, rats, extremely slow service and low food quality. We personally saw how dirty the restaurant was, especially late in the evening, including dirt under the tables. The food was also unacceptable. The syrniki were frozen in the middle. The signature fish dish tasted as if it had been prepared the day before and reheated in a microwave. The cocktails did not match the ingredients listed on the menu. The rooms were damp, had an unpleasant smell, were cramped and not very clean. The spa is extremely small. After seeing the sanitary condition of the restaurant, I also had serious doubts about the hygiene and water quality in the spa. It must be booked in advance, often before booking the room. The golf-cart roads are also badly damaged in places. Some sections are so full of potholes that the cart shakes violently, like driving on a badly damaged military road. The location and scenery are beautiful, but the hygiene, food quality, service and lack of maintenance are completely unacceptable for a resort of this standard. The repeated complaints and videos from previous guests make it clear that these are long-term problems that management has failed to resolve. We would not recommend this resort.

宿泊者にゴルフ予約が値打ちなのか？案内を探せなかった。 洗面器の配管下からドブの臭いがした。 2回ゴルフマッサージしてもらったが、コリを解したりストレッチしてくれるようなマッサージを希望したかった。 泊まっている間に、割れ門チャンギーブンタールの写真を 撮りに連れて行ってくれると嬉しい。 来年はランクが上の部屋を予約したい。

Lovely, peaceful property and a great golf course. Room was good value, clean and had a lovely garden view. Enjoyed our breakfast and had a very nice evening meal in the restaurant. Definitely recommend staying a night if you are coming for golf. Plenty to see in the surrounding area.

Overalls experience are always great, just this time the room that we stayed in the bathroom need a thorough scrubbing.

Our room and covered terrace were fabulous for enjoying the mountain scenery. The staff were warm and welcoming. The golf concierge and course were excellent.

Our bathroom door wouldn't close, and maintenance came to try to fix it, but it got stuck again. Needs to be replaced.

لا يوجد شي يذكر غير انه الفطور الصباحي لا يوجد به خيارات كثيره للعرب ولكن تعاون الموظفين جدا ممتاز لتلبيت اي طلب اخر

Kamer 103 was ruim en niet gehorig. Kamer 111 was niet prettig. Zeer gehorig, in de nacht kwamen de buren thuis, en het voelde alsof ze jouw kamer ingingen. Idem in de ochtend. Dit had ik niet verwacht. Zeer gebroken nacht gehad. Dus niet kamer 111 boeken!

Staffs are Friendly and very good breakfast

A great get-away in the cool mountains, even if you don't play golf. Plenty of tour options nearby to waterfalls, hiking, temples rice terraces mountain views etc. Also the famous Handara gate for that must-have pic. Plenty of places to walk on the extensive property and many gardens. If golf is your thing then this course will test your skill, come give it a try.

When we arrived the lobby area had many blow flies. Flies were also a problem at the outside resto until they provided a citronella candle. Just noting that its a 2.5hr drive from the airport.

The restaurant ‘Highland 1882’ is beautiful and all staff were exceptional. Komang in the restaurant made our stay even better. Our archery instructor Aytar (or similar) was a star! Thank you so much for a memorable stay!

Handara was located on a mountainous area of Bali, sitting at about 1300m above sea levels. It offered a refreshing side of Bali with cool and chilly weathers! Loved the environment and also the golf course! We had so much fun!

The rooms however were quite old and not very well maintained. If you’re expecting luxurious accommodation - this is not the place. Unless you’re there for golf - there is nothing much to offer except the cool weathers.

Great place to visit and stay for a game of golf. Our rooms were the garden view rooms. They had everything we needed. The bed was firm and comfortable. Nice outlook over the gardens. The restaurants were excellent. Buffet breakfast was very good

Le terrain de golf est magnifique et très bien entretenu! Leçons de golf avec un coach expérimenté. Il est ensuite assez simple de jouer une partie, même lorsqu'on est débutant sans certification particulière.

Location de clubs de golf très compliquée et pas très customer friendly, malgré avoir fait la demander par écrit . Possible que si on joue une partie et pas pour la pratique sur le driving range (où il faut louer à la pièce pour un coût supplémentaire), pas de prêt de parapluie etc. Tous des coûts qui s'accumule à la fin. Chambres humides qui laissent une odeur un peu désagréable. Déshumedificateur d'air disponible. Restaurant majoritairement vide (le soir), ce,qui rendait l'ambiance bizarre. Restaurant qui n'appartient pas à l'hôtel, mais juste à côté un peu plus vibrant et absolument délicieux. Petit déjeuner était bien.

The property is very poor condition, the rooms are very old and outdated, Staff can be more customer oriented, on our last day for checkout we are little extension for 1 hours but immediately it was refused, hotel management doesn’t care, If your golf lover then this the place but if your going with family or couple for relax not the place

L’endroit est magnifique belle organisation pour le golf avec l’équipe sur place ! Belle vue depuis les terrasses! Le resto était très bon avec un grand buffet pour le petit déjeuner ! Meilleur lit de mon séjour à Bali !

Un peu d attente des fois pour les navette du bungalow au lobby ! Manque de réaction pour les navette et les bagages

Не понятно где гулять. Вроде бы территория большая, но заточено все под гольф. По дорожкам не погулять - опасно, тк играют (местные так говорят и просят не идти вглубь). Номера очень старенькие. Не знаю как виллы. Но номера своих денег не стоят.

Kamers ietwat verouderd, beetje sleets. Mobiele airco ( gelukkig wel airco, dat dan wel), maakte hoop geluid.

Staff, food, views and our room

It's in a less busy area. If you enjoy being surrounded by trees, this is the spot for you. Staff were extremely kind and helpful but could be more organised, especially in sheduling the activities and keeping them on time. Archery was fun but there was only one target. More suitable for come-and-try, I guess.

Distance from the airport. If you arrive late during the day, you might have to spend an extra night before you can go up the hills to get to this place. But, the view is totally worthy it! A bit extra about the app, it would be nice if Booming.com could let me add more than one photo at a time. Also, I had trouble logging back into my account while I was in Bali. It logged me out and put me into a loop, where the app asked for a mobile number to log myself back in but only offered a Chinese region code of +86. I could not choose any other code from the world and guess what? I didn't have a Chinese mobile number! Even more worrying is how did Booking.com know I am Chinese? Did Booking.com judge by my name or could the app access my gallery, contact list or app list without permission or without me being aware? Or, it just "looked" at my passport photo and decided I could only have a Chinese mobile? Anyway, I don't trust Booking.com any more. This will be the last time I use its service. 永不再见！

I wrote this review so that the management pays attention! We like Handara, but it needs to be fixed!

1. Have the sauna open at least until 23 or midnight! Close at 8pm? Why on earth? You don’t want to make money? No one goes to sauna during the day and it’s impossible to book in the evening. You will be fully booked! 2. Provide blackout curtains in the bathroom in chalet. Why you have blackout curtains at all if the light goes through the bathroom door? How is this comfortable? Been telling this for years. 3. The staff starts making loud noises at 8am in the chalet next to you. 4. You totally blocked the exit to chalet from parking. It’s like you’re trying to make it inconvenient for everyone.

I got a great deal on bookings but when I went to extend stay, price jumped greatly. Golf was expensive unless you take the sunset deal, which I did and enjoyed. Room great, breakfast great, facilities great, staff great.

A pool would be good. Distance to walk to town 1.5km. Price of morning golf. Practise mats needed replacing. Greens were inconsistant and fairly average. Interesting mix of guests.
