Die Unterkunft war ruhig gelegen und machte einen gepflegten, sehr ansprechenden Eindruck. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen, und man kam uns hinsichtlich unserer eigenen Planung entgegen und hat uns das Frühstück früher als angegeben serviert. Das Zimmer erfüllte unsere Erwartungen und war stilvoll eingerichtet. Zum Frühstücksbereich gehörte ein großzügiger und ebenfalls stilvoller Loungebereich, der einen herrlichen Ausblick eröffnete. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet.

Die Matratzen waren für unseren Geschmack deutlich zu weich. Da die Unterkunft über mehrere Zimmer verfügt und voll belegt war, macht sich abends ein gewisser Geräuschpegel durchaus bemerkbar. Zumal das Gebäude insgesamt recht hellhörig ist,

El desayuno. Nos pregunta antes que queremos y la hora que queremos desayunar dentro de las marcadas. Como la consulta del médico. No es lo habitual, pero así se estropea menos comida que en los típicos buffet.

La habitación. Pequeña, y es la 1 vez que no unen 2 camas para hacer una de matrimonio. Tuvimos que dormir como los burgueses, en camas separadas. Y el baño moderno, pero muyyyy pequeño.

We stayed in Unit 1, and it had a view of the mountain range. It was cloudy, foggy, and rainy while we were there, but there were glimpses that showed it was a great view of the mountains. Bed was softer than any others on our trip, and we had the best night's sleep here. The breakfast options were excellent. Staff was warm, English, and helpful. The lounge had a lot of things to do on a rainy evening.

Restaurant options are limited in Spean Bridge. There was really only one functioning restaurant open in August. That restaurant was easy to get to. I wished more people were willing to talk in the lounge, but that all depends on the guests.

Accueil chaleureux de Simon, la chambre est spacieuse très bien équipée et joliment décorée, les lits sont confortables, aucun bruit la nuit. Nous avions reçu un mail pour nous conseiller de réserver un restaurant le soir de notre arrivée, nous avons opté pour le "Old station restaurant" proche à pied et vraiment pas déçu. Le petit déjeuner était copieux et très bon, avec plusieurs choix possibles. Merci à Simon et Morven pour leur gentillesse.

Accoglienza da parte di Simon molto cordiale, la posizione tranquilla e facile da trovare, la stanza grande e comodissima, ben arredata. La ciliegina sulla torta sono stati i prodotti della Highland Soap Company (dal lavamani al balsamo alla crema corpo) in bagno! Ampia scelta per l'ottima colazione. Bella anche la parte del salotto in cui passare la sera.

Ein ganz typisches B&B mir sehr netten Besitzern, die sich rührend um ihre Gäste kümmern. Das Dreibettzimmer war groß genug, gut augestattet (Föhn, Wasserkocher, ...) und die Betten waren bequem. Alles war sauber. Das Badezimmer war vielleicht etwas klein für 3 Personen, aber es war voll okay. Wir waren auf der Durchreise ja nur 1 Nacht dort; für uns hat es gut gepasst. Das Frühstück, welches man sich am Vortag aussucht, war wirklich köstlich! Der Frühstücksraum war echt gemütlich, warm, mit großen Fenstern und einer sehr schönen Aussicht. Unser Gastgeber war sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend.

Für uns war es leider viel zu kalt im Zimmer.

Freundlicher Empfang durch Besitzer. Große Zimmer mit vielen Steckdosen. Auswahlmöglichkeit beim Frühstück. Die Empfehlung des Restaurants für das Abendessen war hervorragend.

Parking op eigen terrein, kleine badkamer, maar alles is voorzien en werkt perfect. Goede douche. Ontbijt kan je zelf kiezen en samenstellen en wordt op het gewenste uur geserveerd in de ontbijtruimte. Ook twee zithoeken waar je 's avonds kan zitten, eentje met televisie, en eentje zonder.

The hosts were just lovely. They were helpful with answering questions and weren’t upset by our later than intended check in. The room was great with plenty of charging stations and the aircon was already set for us. They had a beautiful garden and views of the mountain. Not too far out of town and a they have a perfect, quiet spot for bird watching.

Wir haben hier 2 Nächte verbracht. Unser 3 Bett Zimmer war sauber und gut ausgestattet, wir haben wunderbar geschlafen. Das Frühstück war klasse und mehr als ausreichend, die Gastgeber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus. Am Bahnhof gibt es ein gutes Restaurant, wenn man etwas Fußweg nicht scheut, kann man dort gut hin laufen.

A very comfortable quiet property just a little way off the main road. The two lounge areas were lovely and I enjoyed reading here. Simon and Morven were most welcoming and run an excellent establishment. The dining room was adjacent to the lounge and had a lovely view of the mountains. Breakfast was cooked perfectly and I liked the order system so you chose exactly what you wanted and it was served to the table. A nicer touch than a buffet and straight from the kitchen to your table. I also liked the lighter blanket alternative to the heavier duvets. It all had a lovely warm friendly feel about it and Simon even booked me dinner at a nearby restaurant prior to my arrival. Service with a smile.

De accommodatie was prima en de gastvrouw en gastheer waren zeer behulpzaam. We werden opgehaald door de eigenaar vanaf Gairlochy en de volgende dag weer afgezet. Daar betaal je wel voor maar toch een prima service. Eigenaar had bovendien een tafel gereserveerd in het enige restaurant in Spean Bridge.

No tv which meant had to speak to my husband all night which was a revelation! 🤣🤣 To be fair I didn’t read the full reviews before booking that this was not in the room - not a problem as appreciate this is a hosts policy but may not have booked the rooms with having a young adult with anxiety issues with us. He does not like social areas so the lounge area to watch tv with others so would not have been good for him. Like I say this is for us to consider when booking going forward.

Course Glas House was very conveniently located for our activities in the area!! When I first walked into the building, there was a strong mold odor. But, when I entered my room, there was no smell of mold. Our room was very clean and breakfast was EXCELLENT!!! Morven and Simon made a great team and took very good care of us!!

Wij werden vriendelijk ontvangen en er werd tijd genomen om alles uit te leggen. Als eerste werd het lokale restaurant gebeld om voor ons een tafeltje voor de avond te regelen. Ondanks dat wij het kleinste kamertje hadden, w as het voor een nacht prima te doen. Erg goed ontbijt de volgende ochtend, in een eetzaal die woonmakerachtig aandoet. Waarschijnlijk door de vloerbedekking die door het hele gebouw ligt.

We hadden de kleinste kamer en waarschijnlijk ook de kleinste douchecabine. Ondanks dat konden we er okay in douchen. Het bed had iets steviger gemogen.

Kamer super schoon met mooi uitzicht. Hartelijk ontvangst door het echtpaar en behulpzaam. Er werd voor ons een tafel gereserveerd bij the Old Station voor diner. Goede bedden en mooie badkamer met regendouche. Prima ontbijt.

Sehr nette, freundliche, zuvorkommende, hilfsbereite Gastgeber! Das Frühstück war sehr, sehr lecker! Die Pflegeprodukte im Bad haben uns sehr gut gefallen! Toller Duft! Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber. Man konnte sich auf dem Zimmer sogar Tee, Kaffee oder heiße Schokolade zubereiten. Die Lage der Unterkunft und der Ausblick auf die Berge ist wirklich toll und auch, dass man beim Frühstücken die Vögel im Garten beobachten kann.

Unser Doppelbett war leider wirklich unbequem. Die Decke war uns zu klein und die Matratze hat sehr gewackelt, was dazu führte, dass wir sehr schlecht geschlafen haben. Aber wir wurden in der Früh sehr freundlich und mit einem leckeren Frühstück begrüßt. Daher alles in Ordnung :-) Tipp von uns: Lieber Einzelbetten buchen (Die sind bequem sagte unsere Tochter)

Größe von Zimmer war für drei Personen in Ordnung; Matratzen waren zu weich;

Absolut liebenswerte, kleine, ruhige Pension mit ebenso liebenswerten Inhabern. Alles einfach, kein Luxus, aber mit großem Wohlfühlfaktor. Wir hatten das Familienzimmer, das zu viert nicht allzu viel Platz bietet, aber für zwei Nächte völlig in Ordnung geht. Die Betten sind eher weich und waren für uns sehr bequem. Das Bad ausreichend groß und sehr sauber. Das Frühstück wird individuell für jedes Zimmer zubereitet und ist abwechslungsreich und gut. Vom Speisesaal aus hat man einen schönen Blick in den großen Garten und auf die Hausberge. Die Pension liegt ruhig in einem kleinen Ort, fußläufig ist ein kleiner Supermarkt und Restaurants erreichbar. Wir fanden es sehr, sehr schön und heimelig - klare Empfehlung!

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, das Zimmer (4 Betten) war klein, aber sehr schön, sauber, hell und liebevoll eingerichtet. Fürs Abendessen hat Simon uns schon vorab einen Tisch reserviert. Dieses Angebot anzunehmen kann ich nur empfehlen! Das Frühstück war herrlich und direkt vor dem Zimmer hatten wir einen Parkplatz. Die Lage ist super ruhig und zentral!

Bed and breakfast charmant, très propre, hôtes adorables, tout dans l'esprit que l'on se fait d'un bed and breakfast en Ecosse. Petit déjeuner super.

Rien concernant la location mais très peu de restaurants à Spean Bridge, donc prévoir avant d'arriver.

La struttura è situata in una zona abbastanza fornita. Siamo stati accolti da Simon, il quale si è mostrato un host gentile, attento e accogliente durante tutto il nostro soggiorno, preoccupandosi anche di prenotare per noi il ristorante per la cena. La stanza era pulita e in ordine, curata. Il bagno nuovo. Abbiamo trovato caffè e té e del latte. La colazione è una delle migliori: nota di eccellenza al porridge, il migliore che abbia mai mangiato. Assolutamente consigliato se siete da queste parti.

La colazione continentale viene servita in un piatto completo di formaggi salumi brioche frutta servito al tavolo in modo impeccabile da Simon . Personalmente preferirei sempre un buffet in modo da scegliere in autonomia cosa mangiare e quanto mangiarne .

Simon en Morven zijn de perfecte gastheer en gastvrouw. Persoonlijke en warme ontvangst bij aankomst. Wij hadden de familiekamer geboekt, heel ruim, mooie kamer met 2 eenpersoonsbedden en 1 tweepersoonsbed. Aansluitend de badkamer met douche, lavabo en wc. De eetkamer was ruim en gaf zicht op de bergen. Volledig ontbijt op maat van je wensen. Uitleg werd gegeven van de omgeving wat er te doen was en waar je goed kon eten. Ruime parking naast het huis. Kortom een complete B&B ervaring. Restaurant The Old Station is een aanrader, 10 min. wandelen van de B&B en heel lekker eten.
